There once was an aging hero. For ninety-three long years he has graced this world. He served admirably in WWII, as a member of a group of African-American pilots known collectively as the Tuskegee Airmen.
During World War II, Black Americans in many U.S. states were still subject to the Jim Crow laws and the American military was racially segregated, as was much of the federal government. The Tuskegee Airmen were subjected to racial discrimination, both within and outside the army. All Black military pilots who trained in the United States trained at Moton Field, the Tuskegee Army Air Field, and were educated at Tuskegee University, located near Tuskegee, Alabama …
A while ago, Obama’s “senior adviser”, the unelected Valerie Jarrett, spoke out (on Obama’s behalf, and apparently with his blessing) against therapies intended to change sexual orientation. Obama wants to ban these therapies, arguing that they’re psychologically harmful. My immediate reactions were: Where and when did he get his psychiatric degree? And, what about freedom of choice?
If the patient wants the therapy, why should the government BAN the therapy? Isn’t the psychological well-being of the individual more important than political correctness or the ideology of a small subset of the population?
Guess not. But I digress …
Thanks to the Gateway Pundit, we learn that once again Obama has trash-talked his own (alleged) country, this time at the “Summit of the Americas”:
I am the first one to acknowledge that America’s application to concern around human rights has not always been consistent. And, I’m certainly mindful that there are dark chapters in our own history in which we have not always observed the principles and ideals upon which the country was founded.

More and more often, we find these sorts of stories in the news:
Two women named Melinda and Dani Phoenix and the man they both consider their husband, Jonathan Stein, are in a polyamorous relationship and parenting two babies together under the same roof.
Melinda and Dani began their relationship as a lesbian couple and became domestic partners in 2010. A year later, Jonathan joined them as the third partner and the three married last summer in a ceremony that is not legally recognized.
So Obama says,
Religion is not responsible for violence and terrorism. People are responsible for violence and terrorism.
Just when you think you’re done with Senator John McCain because of his infuriating, RINO, “maverick” ways, he does something to redeem himself yet again. This time, he took on Code Pink “peaceful protesters” who disrupted a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing.
Islamic terror once again strikes Europe. How much more will Western
Civilization take? Will this be the straw that breaks the proverbial camel’s back, or, having let the camel’s nose in under the tent, will Europe (nay, the world) continue its long, slow slide into submission?
