Different Strokes for Different Folks

In the world in which we now live–where certain people are not allowed to speak or write about certain topics–it’s heartening to learn that even though some folks are silenced, others are not (but only because the silencers are confounded when it comes to treating these other folks the same way they treat the silenced folks).

Equity. It’s only a word. In this instance, it’s a blessing to us that equity isn’t being delivered to certain folks.

Unmask, Mask, Unmask, Mask

Seriously. Make up your effing minds what “science” tells us.

First, Lord Fauci declared masks don’t work, but he later admitted that he was fibbing (risking lives) because the powers that be wanted to reserve PPE for health care workers.

Misinformation

It took a while, but I finally found someone who’s keeping a list of Joe Biden’s lies. Biden recently made this claim:

Look, the only pandemic we have is among the unvaccinated.

Fueling Fires

Never one to refrain from pouring gasoline on any racial fire, promoting racial division, or invoking and exploiting racial identity politics, former president Obama today cited an incident in Central Park, comparing it to the death of George Floyd in Minnesota, a death which has sparked violent rioting and caused at least one other death.

The Month the Earth Stood Still

We’re supposed to continue the shutdown of the economy and shelter in place for another month.

This is NOT an April Fools’ Day joke, but it sure feels like one.

The Wuhan/Chinese Virus

Someone got a snap of President Trump’s notes from a recent press conference discussing the Chinese Coronavirus Pandemic. During the past few pressers, the President has been plagued by idiots in the White House press corps grilling and excoriating him because he says the pandemic is caused by a “Chinese virus.”

This, they say, is racist, offensive to Chinese-Americans, encourages  xenophobia and “puts Asian-Americans at risk.”
