While the FBI focuses on an alleged plot by a white “militia” group to kidnap Michigan’s governor (a “fed plot” that the FBI itself, according to a jury, instigated), disturbing indicators of actual domestic terrorism appear throughout the nation.

What Is True Social Justice?

In an article entitled Why Trump frightens the GOP Illuminati, author Lee Cary quoted Robert Kagan, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution–a political think tank that claims to be independent and non-partisan. Here’s a sample of their non-partisanship, in which Trump supporters are analyzed in the most arrogant, insulting way, adding selfishness and a dearth of empathy (i.e., sociopathy) to the usual descriptors applied by the elite to Trump supporters:

racism and nativism and xenophobia and misogyny and homophobia and anti-Semitism.

And they wonder why folks in flyover country support Trump.

Paean to Income Inequality?

This song, The Trees, by 1970s-era progressive rock band Rush describes a dispute between maples and oaks in an imaginary forest.  The maples resent the oaks for being taller, because, in the maples’ opinion, the oaks are hogging all the light.  The oaks don’t understand that point of view, because they’re only doing what comes naturally. The song ends thusly:

… So the maples formed a union
And demanded equal rights
‘The oaks are just too greedy
We will make them give us light’
Now there’s no more oak oppression
For they passed a noble law
And the trees are all kept equal
By hatchet, axe and saw.

What Did the Pope Not Say?

A Jesuit-trained blogger, fluent in both “native” English and Spanish, translated anew Pope Francis’s recent publication Evangelii Gaudium. It’s not surprising that many have concluded that the “official” translation distorted the Pope’s meaning, especially with regard to “trickle down economics.”  JMG wrote:

The Pope’s message has been very significantly altered by a calamitous English (and ONLY the English) translation. 

Obamacare: Take Your Medicine, and Like It! (Open Thread)

Tomorrow the Obamacare exchanges are supposed to open for business.  Whether they will function or not is yet to be seen.  Word is that the software has glitches (see here, also) and is vulnerable to determined hackers and identity thieves.  All the crack software developers are probably working for Barack Obama’s spying NSA, so it’s likely that software development for Obamacare was farmed out to well-connected progressive friends of Obama’s–like ACORN community organizers, “minority” contractors, and former hackers who quickly created startups with a little help from the taxpayers via the Stimulus.

Like this president, prior experience and a record of accomplishments not required.

As you know, family values, traditions, morals,  religious freedom and liberty, the institution of marriage, and the sanctity of life are threatened on a daily basis by  progressives [communists]  who want to redefine our values,  extinguish or pervert  our thinking and our way of life.   The Family Research Center is one of the organizations that stands for and defends America’s traditional values.  They are a main target for the progressives.   The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has even designated them as a “hate group.”    Why?  Because they espouse biblical-based beliefs regarding marriage and sexual behavior.

Tonight will be the first of three debates between Barack Hussein Obama II and his challenger for the U.S. presidency, Willard Mitt Romney. Will this or any of the other debates actually touch upon the most important issue in this election? With the liberal media controlling the questions (possibly in collusion with the White House), it’s highly unlikely.  What is the greatest issue facing our nation?

This morning, if you searched Google for news (their news tab), what came up were all stories about Romney and the “47%,” even though the story is days old.  This article is featured, which praises Mother Jones’s “reporter” David Corn for his “scoop”. Here’s all you need to know about him and his scoop [emphasis added]:

Corn, a liberal commentator on MSNBC, got a major assist from a freelance researcher, James Carter IV, who first found the snippet on YouTube. Carter suggested to Corn that there might be more in the full video held by the source. Carter, the grandson of the 39th president, also alerted the Huffington Post that a longer video might exist.

What’s not “news”, according to Google, is Barack Obama’s very revealing tape about redistribution. No! Of course that’s not news.

If Operation Fast and Furious (OFF) has taught us anything, it’s that the progressives in this country (especially Barack Hussein Obama II, Hillary Clinton, and Eric Holder) will go to great lengths to invent “facts” to use to continue to chip away at our Second Amendment rights.  Many have credibly argued that OFF was designed not to stop guns from flowing across the border to Mexican drug cartels, but rather to inflate the numbers and “prove” by lying statistics that over 90% of the guns recovered in Mexico were trafficked illegally from the United States.  The goal was to gin up an astroturfed groundswell of bogus public opinion in favor of more government control over guns.
