“No Person except a natural born Citizen”

From Article Two, Section 1 of the US Constitution

Posted By ITookTheRedPill

Ed Morrissey at HotAir.com:

I never thought I’d long for the days of Robert Byrd and his “pocket Constitution,” but alas, Dick Durbin has managed to eke out that much nostalgia after his DREAM Act gaffe yesterday. Real Clear Politics and Doug Powers at the Boss Emeritus’ site caught this tender moment from Durbin as he addressed school-age “undocumented” aliens and promised that his DREAM Act would allow them to become tomorrow’s Congressmen, Senators, and … Presidents?

Birthers R Crazy or R They?

© Red Pill WTPOTUS 2011

An article by John Ellis, “Birther Issue Goes Mainstream” reveals that “journalists” today must include the word birther in their copy to generate internet hits to their articles. They are walking a tightrope in how they use the term because they don’t want to alienate their JournOlistic comrades,

all of whom in New York-Washington media circles are resolute in their belief that “birthers” are insane!

Just the Facts, Ed

From HotAir, Illustration by Chris Muir of Day by Day.

This comic pair of images was posted within hours of President Obama quipping about his birth certificate being plastered to his head. (courtesy Sad Hill News)

Blogger of the year Ed Morrissey starts today’s “Obamateurism of the Day” with the following statement:

I’m actually sympathetic to Barack Obama when it comes to the Birthers.

Let’s take a look at his reasons why, and compare that to just the factsContinue reading

Barack Hussein Obama took Shahada

By Itooktheredpill

He once got in trouble for making faces during Koran study classes in his elementary school, but a president is less likely to stereotype Muslims as fanatics — and more likely to be aware of their nationalism — if he once studied the Koran with them.
Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that seemed delightfully uncalculated (it’ll give Alabama voters heart attacks), Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.”

When Barack Hussein Obama publicly confessed the opening lines of the Arabic (a.k.a. Islamic) call to prayer, the Adhan, he “took Shahada“.

According to Pew Research Center polling, in October 2008, 51% of Americans believed Obama is a Christian, and only 12% believed Obama is a Muslim.
And now, in August 2010, only 34% of Americans believe Obama is a Christian, and 18% believe Obama is a Muslim.

At HotAir, the atheist Allahpundit opines:

It’s all very lame and obnoxious, especially given the testimony from pastors that Obama takes his Christian faith seriously

But there are a few things Allahpundit seems to fail to recognize… Continue reading

Michelle Obama’s trip to Spain was not “Tone Deaf”, it was Pitch-Perfect…

Michelle Obama’s trip to Spain was not “Tone Deaf”, it was Pitch-Perfect…

…to the Cordoba Initiative.

Many in the media are calling Michelle Obama’s trip to Spain “Tone Deaf”, but consider how Michelle was Pitch-Perfect when it comes to her intended audience, and meeting the following two objectives:

1) A distraction from Barack’s trip to Chicago.

2) An endorsement of the Cordoba Initiative.

We may not like either one of those objectives, but she accomplished them.

Michelle Obama’s trip to Spain was not “Tone Deaf”, it was Pitch-Perfect…

…to Marxists and Islamists…

Shoddy Reporting Concerning Closed Chrysler Dealers:What the TARP Inspector General Report Does NOT Say.

By Itooktheredpill

Stories at both HotAir.com and MichelleMalkin.com are missing important parts of the picture, and could be unwittingly hurting the dealers.

Nowhere in the SIGTARP Report does it say that the Government “forced” (as Malkin put it) Chrysler to reduce its dealership network.

Obama’s Eligibility: It’s a Matter of Faith

UPDATE: HotAir is currently running a post called Birthers and the paranoid center. The post analyzes a CNN poll that claimed 27% of Americans — and 41% of Republicans — say Pres. Obama was probably or definitely not born in the United States. However, the post completely ignores the fact that no state-level Secretary of State, and no member of Congress, ever inspected Obama’s initial birth certificate from the State of Hawaii. Instead, they took the word of Obama’s campaign and biased “fact-checking” organizations that have been repeatedly discredited in their “fact-checking”. As I make clear in this post, Obama’s eligibility is a matter of faith…

“Being an American is not a matter of blood or birth, it’s a matter of faith,”
President Obama declared at a speech he gave on immigration.

Obama’s eligibility to hold the office of President of the United States is “a matter of faith”.

The Audacity of Hypocrisy

By: ITookTheRedPill

I remain distressed that the White House during this confirmation process, which overall went smoothly, failed to provide critical documents as part of the record that could have provided us with a better basis to make our judgment with respect to the nomination. This White House continues to stymie efforts on the part of the Senate to do its job. I hope with the next nominee who comes up for the Supreme Court that the White House recognizes that in fact it is its duty not just to the Senate but to the American people to make sure we can thoroughly and adequately evaluate the record of every single nominee who comes before us.

Who said that?
