American Spring or American Nightmare?

© Miri WTPOTUS 2011

Blowhard!  This would be amusing if we didn’t know that it just may be something that Barack Obama and most of his Marxist/progressive/domestic terrorist friends (Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dorhn, Van Jones, etc.) have been community organizing for, for years.  Global-warming guru Al Gore calls for an “American Spring”, such as the Middle East experienced over multiple “Arab Springs“–orchestrated, Internet-community-organized, George Soros-funded, astroturfed revolutions in the streets of their cities.  But we’re not alone.  Some have suggested recently that Israel, too, needs such a “Spring”.

Might we remind Al Gore that these “Arab Springs” were extremely violent in most instances?  While Wikipedia prefers to blame the violence on the “reaction” of the governments, they do at least point out that “property” was attacked, police stations were “stormed,” riots occurred,  public buildings were burned and looted, cities were occupied, and over 17,000 people died.  The Wikipedia article even uses the unfortunate phrase, “days of rage”, to characterize these “uprisings.”  They sound more like a nightmare than peaceful, democratic “change.”

Do we now have a former Vice President of this country, on one of the most rabidly partisan, if not insane, television programs ever (Olbermann), calling for people to take to the streets and overthrow our government?

That is, after all, what happened with these Arab Springs. Governments were overthrown. Constitutions were rewritten by the “winners”.

Yet it’s the likes of Al Gore who call patriotic Americans in the Tea Party “terrorists” and worse.  This week, Tea Partiers were called terrorists (by another vice president), hostage-takers, crazed people who point guns to the heads of the people or the president, morons who want only to blow up the country, cannibals, vampires, zombies, parasites, etc.  The list of epithets just keeps on growing.

What Al Gore is doing sounds arguably like sedition.

Sedition:  incitement of discontent or rebellion against a government; any action, especially in speech or writing, promoting such discontent or rebellion.

What did these Arab Springs accomplish? They overthrew governments and led to select groups grabbing power to REWRITE the Constitutions of those countries. Is this Obama’s plan via Gore? It would not be surprising, given Obama’s past history of association with radical graduates (or current members) of the Weatherman, the Weather Underground, SDS, CPUSA, the Black Panthers, and DSA.  Nor given the organizations with which Obama willingly chose to associate, such as ACORN, Gamaliel Foundation, Midwest Academy, SEIU, to name just a few.  Nor given the people Obama has placed into his administration, such as Van Jones, among far too many others.

Gore gratuitously implies that this progressive American Spring (led by ACORN, SEIU, and other unions, perhaps even the New Black Panthers, all of whom will use the wonders of the Gore-invented Internet to organize?) won’t be like the Tea Party.  Oh, no.  They will be nonviolent.

He says.

So here’s Gore implying, as so many other progressives FALSELY imply, that the Tea Party, against all evidence, is violent.

In the Alinsky tradition, as well as continuing the despicable, transparent habit the left has of accusing others of one’s own tactics, inclinations, and motivations, Gore said:

[I] want to focus on one particular suggestion you had about using the wonderful digital tools that are newly available for the reinvigoration of democracy. Now, they have been around for a while, but they are spreading far and wide and more people are getting involved. We need to have an American spring — you know, the Arab spring. The non-violent part of it isn’t finished yet, but we need to have an American spring, a kind of an American non-violent change where people on the grassroots get involved again. Not the, you know, not in the Tea Party-style.

Mind you, Gore did say “change” and “non-violent;” but when he invoked the analogy of the Arab Spring, which was (sometimes violent) overthrow of governments, one might be excused for wondering exactly what it is that Gore proposes (Olbermann, as well).  Gore continued:

There are people who are genuinely upset in the Tea Party.  I understand that, but that movement was funded with seed money from right-wing billionaires, the Koch Brothers, and promoted on Fox News and turned into a stalking horse for this right-wing agenda that a lot of people have been trying to push on this country for a long time.

Like Nancy Pelosi (aka San Fran Nana), Gore accuses others of what the Democrats have LONG done.

Think back to when Pelosi called the Tea Party “astroturfed” (while an aide referred to them as neo-Nazis), when all evidence proved that it was indeed a grassroots popular movement inspired by one business reporter who lost his cool on camera.  Not at FOX News, by the way; but on CNBC, sister station of MSNBC.  The Tea Party, from its inception, was and remains a peaceful movement which honors the Constitution of this Republic and follows its strictures

What did Tea Partiers do? They organized, they demonstrated peacefully, they held meetings, they ELECTED representatives, and they kept in contact with those representatives in order to ensure that their views were truly and fairly represented. This is the very essence of our representative democratic Republic.  Not democracy, Republic.

But Gore and most progressives prefer simple “democracy”, aka majority rule or MOB rule.  A majority that they unfortunately may rightly perceive is on their side, now that they’ve managed to absolve half the population from paying their “fair share” of taxes, meaning that almost a majority pay NO income taxes and some even get back money they never paid in (a reverse “refund”?).

Now that they’ve managed to allow millions of illegal aliens into our country to demonstrate and demand rights from OUR government.

Does Gore want to send mobs into the streets to foment chaos before the election?  Do the progressives want Obama to have an excuse to suspend the election, like Chavez and other thugs are wont to do when they espy defeat on the horizon but wish so heartily to remain in power, boot firmly upon the necks of the people?  Or so, when Obama loses the election, as happened in Kenya with Obama’s communist cousin Raila Odinga, Obama’s rabid supporters can take to the streets, maraud, terrorize, perhaps even behave like Odinga’s Muslim terror shock troops, who burned Christians alive in their churches–all in a successful ploy to demand a “share” of the political power? Or to then, after the chaos settles, be able to rewrite our Constitution as progressives prefer it to read, without having to go through the “onerous” system of AMENDING it by the Constitutional process, because they know We the People will NEVER agree to the amendments they want?

If such an American Spring takes place, will the UN step in to mandate that the “will” of the so-called minority “people” be accepted?  I can see it happening.

Obama and his progressive supporters want the United States under the thumb of world government, under the thumb of the UN.  Only then can they achieve their goal of disarming the American people and IMPOSING their “ideal” state on the people, by any means necessary

Notice that the left NEVER criticizes the vast amounts of money poured into Democrat coffers by George Soros.  But the Koch brothers are excoriated when, if true, they do exactly as Soros and the Democrats have done. Exactly what Soros  and his many minions in a vast web of “not-for-profit” foundations and progressive organizations have done for years.  This is INDEED a stalking horse, designed to create a New World Neo-Communist Order, with elites like Soros and his friends Gore and Obama, controlling all economies and all peoples, for the “good” of the “world community.” To redistribute and control the wealth of the entire world.

Gore accuses FOX News, for having the gall to present conservative views to its huge audience. Might one suggest that MSNBC (indeed, the entire Cabalist, if not the entire lamestream media) serves to fulfill the imagined FOX role, but for progressives?

Let me get this straight:  Right-wingers have been trying to “push” their agenda onto everyone for years?  Who’s been PUSHING, no, RAMMING, their agenda down EVERYONE’S throat, against the will of the majority of THE PEOPLE, for the past three years?

TARP, STIMULUS, OBAMACARE, REJECTING A BALANCED BUDGET?

Polls clearly show that most people in this country OPPOSED EVERY ONE OF THESE ITEMS.

Their behavior flies in the face of the very “democracy” they pretend to embrace.  They want democracy ONLY when the people vote the way that progressives want them to vote.  Otherwise, the people are a dangerous mob of terrorists.

When they speak, it’s free speech. When their opponents speak, it’s dangerous speech that must be suppressed.

When Soros gives money, it’s democracy and Soros is a benefactor who wants everything that’s right and good. When the Kochs give money, it’s dangerous infiltration and corruption, in an attempt to push an evil agenda onto an unsuspecting populace.

When Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow, among others like Maureen Dowd, rabidly attack “right-wing” policies, Tea Partiers, and conservatives, it’s a wonderful example of freedom of the press.  When some opinion programs on FOX give equal time to or support conservatives, the Tea Party, or Republican politicians, that network becomes dangerous to “democracy” and should be silenced for the greater good, by any means necessary.

Yadda, yadda, yadda.

Doesn’t Gore–a millionaire if not a billionaire via his vast connections to power– comprehend how ridiculous it is for him to try to CREATE a bogus grassroots movement, while at the same time criticizing the Rick Santelli-inspired Tea Party for being astroturfed?

Happy Faux Birthday, Mr. President.

  1. Editorial comment: While some may feel that this SPECULATION is extreme, so it is extreme for the people of this country to be called TERRORISTS by current and former members of their own government. We the People are NOT amused.

The events discussed above DID happen. Christians WERE burned alive in churches, by Odinga’s supporters, after he lost the election. Obama DID travel to Kenya to campaign on behalf of this man, who calls himself Obama’s cousin. After the RIOTS and MURDERS, Odinga was given a place in the government, despite that he LOST the election fair and square.

The people that Obama has chosen to associate with HAVE engaged in acts of domestic terrorism, for which they REMAIN unrepentant, in some instances (Bill Ayers, for example). These people STILL propose overthrow of our representative government, yet inexplicably not only aren’t they accused of being terrorists, they end up with jobs in our government OR in academia, teaching our children.

Neither is it AMUSING to have a former vice president promote for America what happened in countries in the Middle East. Has he watched the news? Did he see the chaos? Does he forget that NATO went in to begin bombing cities? Killing civilians? Oh, collateral damage, I’m sure. This kind of extreme rhetoric is uncalled for. As Sarah Palin said, we’re not going to take it. If they can dish it out, they should be able to take it.

The media was SADLY remiss in not telling the American people exactly who Barack Obama is and what he stands for, what he’s ALWAYS stood for, from the beginning of his career.

Today, on Obama’s birthday, we see the Dow Jones plummeting. Such timing would fit perfectly in an Alinsky scheme. Mr. Obama has shown a fine penchant for symbolic actions, so it would be no surprise to see him giving himself a birthday present after what some characterize as a defeat in the debt ceiling imbroglio. When one engages in class warfare to gain and keep power, then the more dependent, uncertain, frightened people in the population, the better. How better to make the people fearful than to destroy the value of their dollars, their retirement savings, their 401K’s?

Remember that some, including Democrat Congressman Paul Kanjorski, said that the crash of 2008 was orchestrated by outside forces. People like George Soros do have the power to cause the stock market to crash, on cue.

Alinsky means and ends rule 10: “You do what you can with what you have and clothe it with moral garments….” (Like Soros and minions pretending to be philanthropists.)

Alinsky tactical rule 3: “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy. Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty.”

Alinsky tactical rule 8: “Keep the pressure on, with different tactics and actions, and utilize all events of the period for your purpose.”

Alinsky tactical rule 9: “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.”

Alinsky tactical rule 10: “The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition. It is this unceasing pressure that results in the reactions from the opposition that are essential for the success of the campaign.”

  2. So is this stock market crash going to be the argument for Stimulus II? We HAVE TO do more bailouts, more handouts, more borrowing, more spending?

Is it only coincidence that Reid, Pelosi, and Obama, since the debt ceiling deal was reached, have been out there talking about more job creation, more “revenues” (aka TAX INCREASES), the need for more “investment” (aka tax increases plus more spending)? Now, right on cue, another crash like 2008? Right when Obama’s poll numbers are once again tanking? (iirc, McCain was ahead in the polls last time.)

  3. http://www.marketwatch.com/story/dows-losing-streak-now-in-ninth-day-2011-08-03

“The stock market is poised today to do something it has not done in over 33 years: Decline for nine straight sessions. The last time the Dow Jones Industrial Average did that, in fact, was Feb. 22, 1978, when Jimmy Carter was president and the country was struggling to come to grips with a period of anemic economic growth and high inflation. Isn’t it comforting to know that we’ve made such progress over the last three decades?”

What I’d like to know, if this is as bad as Dec. 2008, WHERE are the procedures to prevent such destruction? Weren’t we promised that steps would be taken to prevent another run such as this? Or is this yet another Alinsky ploy, to “prove” the “need” for government to take over the entire financial apparatus? Don’t be surprised if Obama suggests such a solution. No wonder Geithner may stay now; he doesn’t want to miss the fun.

  4. For obots who say that Al Gore is only trying to “bring back a TRUE democracy” to America, I can only say that YOU need to do more research because this country, the United States of America, has ALWAYS AND EVER BEEN A CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC. It is NOT a “true democracy,” Debra, and NEVER has been. Nor is the “core of our foundation” the “safety net”. This is not a Marxist state. This is not a communist country. The core of our foundation is the Constitution.

How do you imagine that there can possibly BE a safety net when the country is bankrupt BECAUSE of the “safety net” and business is strangled BECAUSE of an anti-capitalist president?

Where do you imagine the money comes from for any safety net, without a thriving capitalist system? Communism has been tried and failed. Socialism has been tried and is failing in Europe.

The only reason that America (BO, before Obama) was a success in providing the best standard of living to the greatest number of people is BECAUSE of our freedom and our capitalist system. It’s the REASON why people fight to get into America. It’s the reason there’s such a thing as “The American Dream”. You never hear about any “Soviet Dream” or “Mexican Dream” or even a “Norwegian Dream”.

    Read the Constitution and history.

btw, we don’t publish obot talking points, especially when the writer pretends to be of the people, by pretending to be functionally illiterate.

  5. h/t to a perspicacious commenter at Before It’s News, which kindly picks up our stories. reXteryalyzer reminds us that Obama ordered his obot troops to “Hit back twice as hard.” And so he did, and so he did. Therefore, he can’t complain when We the People point out his history and associations, figuratively hitting him (and Gore) back twice as hard.

Let’s remind everyone, too, that Obama recently complained to La Raza that he’s not a dictator who can rule by fiat (although he tries via executive orders). He said, “Believe me — believe me, the idea of doing things on my own is very tempting. I promise you. Not just on immigration reform.”

    “August 3, 2011
ST. LOUIS TEA PARTY CONDEMNS “TERRORIST” REMARKS FROM VICE-PRESIDENT BIDEN, LAWMAKERS

It was revealed Monday by Politico that Vice-President Joe Biden, U.S. Rep. Mike Doyle, and other lawmakers referred to the tea party as “terrorists” during a heated discussion on the debt ceiling debate. From Politico:

Biden was agreeing with a line of argument made by Rep. Mike Doyle (D-Pa.) at a two-hour, closed-door Democratic Caucus meeting.

“We have negotiated with terrorists, ” an angry Doyle said, according to sources in the room. “This small group of terrorists have made it impossible to spend any money.”

Biden, driven by his Democratic allies’ misgivings about the debt-limit deal, responded: “They have acted like terrorists.”

The St. Louis Tea Party condemns the comparison of private citizens who desire fiscal restraint in Washington to murderous terrorists who have killed thousands of Americans world-wide.

“It’s reprehensible to me that our Vice-President and other elected leaders would make such a grotesque analogy when in just over a month we will mark the tenth anniversary of the worst attack on American soil,” remarks Dana Loesch, Co-Founder of the St. Louis Tea Party.

“It’s an insult to Americans and the Democratic process to refer to dissenting Americans in such a way,” says Bill Hennessy, St. Louis Tea Party Co-Founder. “Are our elected leaders so out of touch with what terrorism actually is that they are willing to defame, by way of analogy, a vast group of people? We have members who lost friends to terrorists in the 9/11 attacks. We do not have any members who have lost friends due to peaceful protest.”

“It is tone-deaf and offensive,” says Jen Ennenbach, media liaison of the St. Louis Tea Party. Other grassroots activists have expressed equal dismay at having their peaceful efforts to raise awareness of government excess compared to the likes of Jihadis. “The fact that the Vice President, or any other elected official would say this of American Citizens clearly shows they are still living in an alternate reality.”

The St. Louis Tea Party asks that Vice-President Biden, Rep. Doyle, and other lawmakers who have defamed grassroots activists by calling them “terrorists,” “hostage takers,” and other pejoratives to apologize for their careless remarks. The St. Louis Tea Party also extends to Vice-President Biden an invitation to meet with them and other grassroots groups so he can see how peaceful dissent is a cornerstone of, not a threat to, our Republic.”

  7. In a masterpiece of clairvoyance, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz declares that Obama has saved the economy! Whoopeee! Guess she’s eating crow this afternoon.

    http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2011/08/dnc-chair-on-obama-hes-brought-us-so-far-weve-really-begun-to-turn-the-economy-around-video/

  8. http://www.streettalklive.com/financial-blog/222.html

Here we go, suggestions that QE3 and more stimulus will be needed, and is coming, to “save” the economy. Is this manufactured crisis designed to influence the work of the Super Congress, aka the Gang of 12?

    • Have you seen any opposition to the Gang of 12? Is anyone going to challenge is Constitutionality?

      • I see our comments are far from the original posts, but maybe someone can put us where we belong and more in context with our original comments. Miri?????or Bridgett????? where are you guys????

        • This is kind of a fluid thread so I’m not holding anybody to absolute topic orthodoxy. The post touches on progressives, liars, the lamestream media, name-calling at Tea Party Patriots, a former VP sounding as if he’s fomenting overthrow of our current system of government, so the Gang of 12 fits, and I started talking about the market crash, in connection with the Alinsky goals of too many progressives. No need to move comments. It’s too time consuming. If you want other threads to take note of what’s here, then just post a link to the comment on this thread, on the other thread. The tabs at the end of the post will clue you in to what’s likely “on topic.”

      • I haven’t seen anything to that effect. Judge Napolitano said that it would have to be a member of Congress who had standing. I don’t know why any citizen whose representative is being sidelined wouldn’t have standing, too. My guess is that if the Dems don’t like how it plays out, then one of them will decide to sue. It’s all theater, anyway. A financial analyst said on radio today that this crash happened because 6 weeks ago, the Fed stopped printing money. He said a similar crash happened a month or so after the last time they stopped printing money, sometime in 2010. So is he saying that it WAS orchestrated, or is he saying that their monetizing of the debt had a deadline and it was hit 6 weeks ago? It’s simply too coincidental that after the leftists were boxed into agreeing to spending cuts and after they all started whining about how now they can’t spend money, suddenly the market drops and people are saying that in this “cuts” atmosphere, the government won’t be able to do any “stimulus” to start the market up again. Well, that last stimulus was a DUD. Why would another be any help? Barry just got permission to borrow another trillion, so, as predicted, Barry WILL SPEND IT. This money is supposed to tide the government over–to pay interest on the debt, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and keep the government running. But bet you anything that Barry will blow through it as fast as he can and then be right back with another “manufactured crisis”, threatening seniors, and asking for more power to borrow more money to start the “destroy the USA economy” cycle all over again. Change you don’t want to believe in. He only just got started, as he said yesterday.

  9. A little but nothing difinative. I say both sides are now equal fools. It’s getting hard to tell some of em apart. This is such a bad idea and I heard how it will obliterate the work of the real house and senate. I am hoping they will begin to see what a horrible idea this is, but another group of “untouchable ” answerable to no one is what this administration is all about. The more of these types , the farther from the constitutional realities. This is about par, don’t you think?
I think we are the only ones left up Kathy, and as you see I don’t have the fortitude of writing skills the sleepy ones have. Maybe they will comment tomorrow. Glad you checked out the photo.

    • This Super Congress is a scam on the American people. There will be no debate, except in secret, which is how everything’s happened since Barry got into power. Nothing is transparent.

Congress is designed for free and open debate. For all points of view to be aired, so that the REPRESENTATIVES OF THE PEOPLE discuss various alternatives, informed by what the people in their districts want. So that the PEOPLE will know what THEIR GOVERNMENT is doing.

Congress won’t be able to debate. To filibuster. To AMEND. To come to any compromises. Their only choice will be accept the bill AS IS OR allow the automatic cuts to take place, which will impact the military, benefit programs, and (happily) funds for starting up Obamacare. Maybe the automatic cuts won’t be so bad after all. 🙂

But this process surely is unconstitutional because it disenfranchises everybody whose representative or senator isn’t chosen to be one of the 12. We the People will have NO REPRESENTATION.

Remember what started the Revolution? NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION!

Congress doesn’t have the power to pass any law that amends the way the Constitution lays out for the Congress to function. But something being unconstitutional has never stopped them before.

We have an unconstitutional president. We have an unconstitutional tax system. We have unconstitutional seizures of private property. We could go on and on.

We need to press the reset button and demand that this government go back to the way it was conceived to operate.

This isn’t a dictatorship, which amazingly enough, Bill O’Reilly pointed out last night to that annoying Columbia University professor whose name escapes me at the moment. An epiphany for O’Reilly! He actually said something like,

“But we have a Congress, professor. This isn’t a dictatorship.” He might have added, “YET”.

Maybe he’s finally waking up, and yet it didn’t sound so. He kept bemoaning that nothing’s going to happen in DC for the next 16 months (sounds like Barry talking points!) because the Republicans will block anything Barry wants because they want to see him defeated. Well, YUH! Who doesn’t, at this point?

Ann Coulter told him that the Republicans will block Obama and MUST block him BECAUSE GRIDLOCK IS PREFERABLE TO SOCIALISM!

Thank you, Ann Coulter. If you ask me, gridlock is always preferable to whatever Congress is doing in DC because nearly everything they do screws things up or infringes on our freedom and rights or takes money out of our pockets.

Actually, that’s a good bumpersticker: Gridlock is preferable to socialism.

  10. Al Gore: Who’s up for an American version of the Arab Spring?
August 4, 2011 by Allahpundit Snips

Via Daniel Halper and the Standard, enjoy as Olby and his new boss pander to their leftist activist audience with fantasies of a grassroots uprising that’ll finally convince Congress to pass those 60-percent tax rates that America desperately needs. I know what you’re thinking. First: “Given how things are going in Egypt, does he really want to use the Arab Spring as a model?”

    http://hotair.com/archives/2011/08/04/al-gore-whos-up-for-an-american-version-of-the-arab-spring/

    • Here’s a good one. I’d forgotten that Gore is now Olbermann’s BOSS. This is the Baltimore Sun writing about Gore and Olbermann!

      http://www.baltimoresun.com/entertainment/tv/z-on-tv-blog/bal-keith-olbermann-al-gore-current-tv-interview-20110802,0,6506487.story

“Meanwhile, your old channel says it is doing more than fine without you — with a big, fat contract for Rachel Maddow, and Lawrence O’Donnell, who has no pretense to being a journalist, filling in for you without missing a beat in the ratings.

I urge you to watch the tape, folks, and listen to Olbermann and Gore, and then tell me if this channel isn’t one of the most partisan anywhere on television despite its ridiculous commercials talking about its commitment to journalism.

Listen particularly to Gore talking derisively about “right wingers,” and you tell me what part of this interview has anything to do with journalism?

Can you imagine if CBS News or ABC News had its anchor start a nightly show with a lengthy interview with the company’s chairman, and he or she talked this kind of partisan politics? Can you imagine the howls? Better yet, what if Fox News did it?

You can put a vest and some TV makeup on a hot dog, and then put it in front of a microphone and teach it to speak in the cadence of a famous broadcaster, but that doesn’t make it a journalist.” FLAMED!

    • When even the Wall Street Journal weighs in, Goracle must have made a mistake! http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424053111903454504576488242529610856.html?mod=googlenews_wsj

I’m sad that this guy says it far better than I ever could:

“Gore exemplifies what political scientist Peter Berkowitz describes as “the ambiguity of progressivism’s opinions about democracy and reform“:

In the annals of American progressivism, Obama’s predicament is hardly unique. Indeed, the mismatch between leaders who put forward partisan ambitions in the name of the people and majority sentiment reflects an enduring paradox with deep roots in the progressive tradition. Like Obama’s new progressivism, the old or original progressivism championed a vision of democracy that sometimes conflicted with ordinary people’s opinions and preferences. The old progressives often realized it and said as much, clearly and with a clear conscience. One of the distinguishing marks of the new progressivism at whose head Obama stands is the determination to conceal the gap between what majorities want and what progressive leaders want to enact in their name while insisting proudly on the purity of their democratic credentials.” [I’d have said, “IMPOSE in their name.”]

  11. Here’s another quote from what Algore, aka the Goracle, said:

“I know it’s difficult to imagine that the people who care about the values that this country was based on will rise up and get much more involved in the democratic process, but that is exactly what we need and that is the only thing that can get our country back on the right track.”

It’s hilarious because we ALREADY HAVE “people who care about the values that this country was based on” RISING UP and GETTING “MORE INVOLVED IN THE DEMOCRATIC PROCESS.”

It’s called the TEA PARTY! Algore ought to take the Tea Party up on their invitation. He might learn a thing or two from real people, who are involved in the democratic process. The representative democratic Republic process. You know, the USA. May God bless the USA.

  12. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/8286435/al_gores_call_for_us_arab_spring_uprising.html?cat=9

“Former Vice President Al Gore, without a hint of irony, recently suggested that what the United States needs is an “Arab Spring”-style uprising in response to the debt ceiling deal. There are several problems with his thesis.

The first problem is there has already been a peaceful uprising against the federal government, active since the spring of 2009. It is called the tea party, which shares a lot of aspirations with some of the people who protested in Cairo and are now fighting to overthrow a variety of dictatorships from Libya to Syria. … The “America Spring” Gore imagines would involve people taking to the streets to demand more government, more taxation, and more spending. That is quite the opposite of a freedom movement. Attempts to jump-start such a movement, such as the “Coffee Party,” have failed repeatedly.

Gore is also not thinking things through when he uses the “Arab Spring” metaphor. So far, while the Egyptian uprising has overthrown Hosni Mubarak, the country now is run by a military junta that is promising democracy at a later date.”

So what Gore is calling for is the type of riots we see in Greece, France, Chile, etc., where “austerity measures” (i.e., necessary cuts to “safety nets” because countries are going bankrupt, because socialism is “unsustainable”) have angered the people who sit on their duffs and take redistributions from those who see their hard-earned money stolen from their pockets to fund these “safety nets”.

As for that writer’s point that Gore didn’t think his analogy through because these countries are now run by military juntas–Well, that’s debatable. Who doesn’t believe that Barry is itching to see the military, which he now heads, running this country? Then, as he PROMISED La Raza, he’d be able to act out his DREAM of just doing whatever he wants, without any annoying impediments like what We the People want or what OUR ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES WANT. It’s TEMPTING, he said. Doesn’t Gore believe him?

  13. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/john-kerry-media-has-responsibility-to-not-give-equal-time-to-tea-party/

John Kerry wants the media to suppress coverage of the Tea Party EVEN MORE than they ALREADY DO. Btw, have you noticed far less national coverage of Michele Bachmann lately? I have and it reminds me very much of the Cabalist orders to stop covering Sarah Palin, too. So this is how the progressives honor and value freedom and free speech and the values of our “democracy”. LEAN on the LAMESTREAM MEDIA TO CENSOR OPPOSING VIEWS. Hitler, Stalin, Lenin, Trotsky, Gramsci, and Alinsky would be SO PROUD.

    In the post, I said,

“When they speak, it’s free speech. When their opponents speak, it’s dangerous speech that must be suppressed.

When Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow, among others like Maureen Dowd, rabidly attack “right-wing” policies, Tea Partiers, and conservatives, it’s a wonderful example of freedom of the press. When some opinion programs on FOX give equal time to or support conservatives, the Tea Party, or Republican politicians, that network becomes dangerous to “democracy” and should be silenced for the greater good, by any means necessary.”

    Cue John Kerry.

  14. Tiffany Gabbay agrees with me that Gore (at best) chose a poor analogy. She has some good photos as examples of the horror of the Arab Springs.

  15. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2011/aug/4/tea-party-terrorists/

“Ironically, it is liberals who are paving the way for potential political violence. Terrorists, hostage-takers, suicide bombers, neo-Nazis, the Christian Taliban – all of the epithets regularly thrown at Tea Party members by rabid progressives – eventually foster one overriding emotion: hatred. It is not much of a leap for some deranged Democratic activist to conclude that the only way to defeat the phantom specter of marching right-wing jihadists is to slaughter them. The Black Panthers, the Weathermen, the Symbionese Liberation Army, the Unabomber – the U.S. radical left has been littered with violent movements marked by the irrational loathing of a menacing Middle America. [What I said.]

Yet the recent attacks on Tea Partyers are more than dangerous and hypocritical. They represent the gradual dissolution of America’s social compact. We are no longer one nation, but two – liberal and conservative. Blue state versus red state; left versus right; progressivism versus traditionalism. The country is splintering along ideological lines. In some ways, it was inevitable. The 1960s unleashed powerful forces – militant feminism, anti-Americanism, pacifism and the sexual revolution. Radical leftists have ruthlessly pursued their goal to erect a multicultural social democracy. Having slowly taken over the commanding heights of popular culture, the universities, public schools, the courts, the establishment media and the mammoth federal bureaucracies and government agencies, they are on the cusp of achieving their national transformation. The Obama presidency is the culmination of the 1960s left’s long march to power. … Instead of celebrating, progressives are fuming. Why? There is one reason: Tea Partyers have finally changed the public debate. The movement rightly understands that a European-style welfare state requires European-level taxation. High spending inevitably breeds high taxes. Mr. Obama realizes this as well, which is why he is determined to gorge the federal beast – relentlessly ratchet up borrowing and spending to where Americans face only two choices: Go bankrupt or become a permanent serf of Uncle Sam. Most Americans want neither. They agree with the Tea Party that spending must be slashed, the budget balanced and fiscal responsibility restored. They do not wish to become Greece.

For the first time in decades, the left is meeting broad, sustained resistance. Its socialist utopia – so close and yet so far – is slipping away, the victim of economic reality. The entitlement society is unsustainable; it is crumbling under its massive, big-government weight. For progressives, this is why Tea Partyers are “terrorists” – political insurgents who are willing to stand up to the venal, decrepit liberal regime. Yet Tea Partyers are America’s freedom fighters; they are forcing the federal government to begin devolving power back to the people.”

  16. CPUSA PROVIDES THE TALKING POINTS FOR THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION AND THE MEDIA ON AUGUST 1st?

  17. “Tea Party took America hostage

    “long, ugly hostage-taking

    politically-manufactured default disaster”

“tea party/Republicans, backed by corporate media and far-right corporate supporters, have conducted an all-out attack on working people” [FOX News and the Koch Brothers]

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE Algore? Why, yes it does. Nearly exactly.

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE OBAMA? Why, yes it does. Nearly exactly.

This was published at CPUSA August 1. When did the media start the meme about “hostage takers?” “Manufactured” crisis? Hmmm?

  18. This article is about Breivik and the left, but this paragraph relates to my post:
    http://www.renewamerica.com/columns/dunkin/110803

“We have to understand an undeniable truth about the Left, which is that it seeks total, complete, unchallenged control over every aspect of society. In that sense, the Left is a true totalitarian philosophy, since it seeks to control society in toto.

Leftists will use every tool at their disposal — the media, government agencies, the schools, whatever — to neutralize, discredit, and destroy any and all opponents. That’s the essence of the Cloward-Piven strategy — isolate, demonize, and destroy. The Left is not interested in “competing in the marketplace of ideas.” The Left wants to send the stormtroopers in to close down the marketplace, arrest all the participants, and send them to the gulags.”

  19. Time for some serious push back on proposed carbon taxes from the usurper!

Forbes: New NASA Data Blow Gaping Hole in Global Warming Alarmism

NASA satellite data from the years 2000 through 2011 show the Earth’s atmosphere is allowing far more heat to be released into space than alarmist computer models have predicted, reports a new study in the peer-reviewed science journal Remote Sensing. The study indicates far less future global warming will occur than United Nations computer models have predicted, and supports prior studies indicating increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide trap far less heat than alarmists have claimed.

    http://americasright.com/2011/07/28/debunking-alarmism/

    • Great payback to the Obama regime and cohorts for eliminating NASA programs and laying off thousands of NASA scientists and workers. This adds more credence to those leaked emails showing global warming to be a total scam. Al Gore being #1 voice for the Scam. Take away his millions and his voice. Expose and stop funding all those that think “green.”

      Global warming alarmists/environmentals = conmen = criminals.

  20. In today’s paper, they referred to the London riots as the importing of the Arab spring to the UK. Therefore, even the lamestream realizes, unlike Algore, that rioting, violence, looting, and assault is what the Arab spring entailed. And Algore wants this for America? Sedition. What I said.

John Kerry rewarded for calling the S&P downgrade the “Tea Party downgrade”? He’s appointed to the gang of 12. How’s that going to work out, do you think? A leftist columnist in my paper today wrote a piece complaining that he should have voted for Hillary. Now we see Kerry, makeup on his hangdog puss, getting pushed into the limelight. Being given a leading role in the gang of 12. Kerry, who was “unfairly” targeted by Corsi last time around. Please, please, please tell me that they’re not going to put up opponents to Barry in the primaries. Please say they’re not going back to the usual re-treads–Hillary and Kerry. Why is Kerry front and center? Who is an idol of the far-progressive left, who Barry is losing?

Finally, a new rant from Algore, who’s mightily angry about being opposed and shown to be the fraud that he is:

“Gore said that established climate sceptics were paying pseudoscientists to pretend to be scientists to the put the message that this climate thing is nonsense. Man-made CO2 doesn’t trap heat. It may be volcanoes.’ Bulls**t! ‘It may be sun spots.’ Bulls**t! ‘It’s not getting warmer.’ Bulls**t!.””

    http://www.irishweatheronline.com/news/environment/climate-news/climate-pseudoscientists-targeted-by-al-gore/31245.html

    “pseudoscientists?” bulls**t! Algore’s a pseudoacademic.

    • Love his laced comments, and his final words…

He added: ‘It’s no longer acceptable in mixed company, meaning bipartisan company, to use the goddamn word ‘climate’… …we cannot possibly come to an agreement on it”.

I am sure they will find substitute words for climate, green, environment, etc. After all we had global cooling and then it went to global warming…Next?

Yes Al, nonsense and a scam! Caught in your own green BS!

  21. There’s audio of Algore at that link. He’s apoplectic. It’s funny. About Kerry, maybe they’re going to do some pseudo-opposition to Barry. Watch for it. Pseudo-opposition to make Barry appear more centrist. Then, if Barry wins again, he’ll reward Kerry with a big job. Like Sec. of State. Ya think? I do.

    • been thinking the same things about Kerry. They sure have been bringing him out lately, although it’s hard to tell. At times it used to look like Kerry wanted to kiss Obama right on the smacker, so pseudo-opposition is probably the right choice of words. Kerry sold his soul to the devil long ago,but at that time I didn’t realize who the DEVIL was…..so now we got the DEVIL and the Devil’s Advocate , and the She-ite Hillary as possible Democratic candidates ! That’s enough carbon poisoning of the OZone right there to ask Al whore ,I mean Gore to run again.

      • They just invite Kerry along so he will bring the condiments Alfy. He looks like Stanley Ann too so he gets an invite. He and Mother Theresa ya know ?

  22. Sounds like they are inciting broad based anarchy – and they should be held accountable if anything riotous goes down.

  23. http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/09/09/us-egypt-protest-idUSTRE7885PH20110909
Yes, Al. We need what happened in Tahrir Square to happen here, don’t we? Israeli embassy in Egypt destroyed by a mob.
