By now, the entire world knows about the 10-year-old Ohio girl alleged to have been raped and who then traveled to Indiana for an abortion. Because the story was sourced to a single person–an OB-GYN who is active in pro-abortion politics–many citizens, some politicians, and even some in the mainstream media were skeptical.

MAGA or Betrayal?

Today there is little joy in Magaville, as President Donald J. Trump signs the RINO/Democrat $1.3 trillion “omnibus” spending bill. (Yes. Trillion!)

Puzzlement, maybe, at best. A sense of betrayal. There’s that, too. What exactly is or was he thinking?

Obama Makes a Deal, or Not.

Today, Barack Hussein Obama II is taking a victory lap and daring the representatives of We the People to try to undo his “deal” with the president of Iran.  There’s the Iranian president, Hassan Rouhani, above. Obama will make a deal with Rouhani, even if it gives him everything he wanted, including access to billions of dollars and (probably, eventually) nuclear weapons.

Random Thoughts and News for a Monday Morning

Following are some random thoughts concerning issues in the news:

Whatever became of “our girls“ in Nigeria? Their cause fell off the front pages fast, didn’t it? The girls are still in captivity, and now have been joined by others. Where’s Michelle Obama now? Off to California, on the taxpayers’ dime, to visit Malia, an aspiring filmmaker.

When “mass shooters” who happen to be white strike, the media always report how many guns were involved, the types of guns, how much ammo, what type ammo, and the source of the weapons, as well as whether or not the person had a permit or had legally purchased the weapon(s). Why don’t they do the same for inner-city shootings perpetrated (mostly) by “persons of color”? See here, here, and here for a reports about how at least 16 were killed and 82 were shot in Chicago over the Fourth of July weekend. How’s that strict gun control working out for the people of Chicago?

Liberal “Logic”

Over the past few weeks, several instances of what passes for logic in the liberal sphere have come to light.  First, there was the “passionate” dissent offered by Justice Sonia Sotomayor in response to a Supreme Court ruling against affirmative action in college admissions.

The President Who Could Not Walk and …

There was an article over the weekend entitled, The president who could not walk.  Twas a review of a book about Franklin D. Roosevelt, which noted that FDR was a “cripple” who may not have been elected had the citizens known the truth.  Like Obama, FDR hid the truth from the People.

MAD Libs vs. Vulture Conservatives

Chris Matthews appears to have a Mad Libs-style list of the worst insults he hurls at conservative. On Wednesday, he chose “verbal terror” to smear everyone on the right who disagrees with all of the “great things” Barack Obama wants to do. The Hardball anchor opened his show by hyperbolically warning, “Political armageddon!” According to Matthews, the fight between the President and conservatives is not a conflict of ideas.  h/t Gordo

Today’s noon news was illustrative of where we find ourselves today, in the Obamanation.  There was a common theme to the stories, although it’s doubtful that the news producer recognized it: That being the emerging Nanny State, to which any constitutional conservative must be driven to scream,
