Hate the 1%, like Mitt Romney, who probably pay less than their secretaries.
Do as I say, not as I do. In a Friday afternoon document dump, the Obamas released their tax return:
President Obama and his wife, Michele, gave a total of $48,000 in tax-free gifts to their daughters, according to tax records made public on Friday.
The president and his wife separately gave each daughter a $12,000 gift under a section of the federal tax code that exempts such donations from federal taxes.
There is nothing illegal about the president’s taking advantage of this tax shelter, but it does raise eyebrows given that he has lamented the myriad tax exemptions used by the wealthy—“millionaires and billionaires” like himself—to pay less in taxes. He has yet to propose a comprehensive plan to reform the byzantine tax code. …
The Obamas paid a total federal tax rate of 20.5 percent on a gross adjusted income $789,674, which would typically fall within the top federal rate of 35 percent. According to an analysis of the president’s tax return, he may have paid a lower rate than his secretary despite making more than eight times as much money as she did. …
The Obama’s untaxed gift to their daughters will leave American taxpayers to subsidize the college education of the children of the multi-millionaire Obamas.

According to another story, Obama doesn’t qualify as “rich enough” for his own Buffett Rule:
The Buffett Rule calls for those making over $1 million a year to pay a minimum tax rate, named after billionaire Warren Buffett. The president did earn over $1 million in previous years–$1.7 million in 2010 and $5.5 million in 2009. …
The release, four days before Tuesday’s tax deadline, capped a week in which the president repeatedly spoke about the obligation of the wealthy to pay their fair share of taxes. It also provided Obama’s campaign the opportunity to once again jab Republican Mitt Romney for his refusal to release more information on his tax-paying history.

The Obama campaign today introduced its shiny new Class Warfare Calculator, an online application that allows you to find out how Mitt Romney is a wealthy scoundrel who is cheating the tax system while you pay your fair share.
So you can resent him and those like him who were handed their wealth by The Man. Or someone.
In an email dispatched this afternoon, Obama 2012 operative Stephanie Cutter introduced the delightful new product, which lets you compare your tax rate to that of “millionaire” Mitt Romney, who is described as having paid a rate of 13.9 percent in 2010.
Oh, I’m positive that their calculator will be accurate.
Ha! It looks like a ploy to collect incomes and link them with email addresses. They ask first for your annual income, then on the next page, they ask for your email address. Do you have to give it in order to learn your results? This is a campaign website, looks like.

As I have written in many columns, Barry cannot be impeached. He usurped the office of the presidency. The only legal method to remove him is through the Quo Warranto statute. A proper QW was filed on January 3, 2012, by presidential candidate, Montgomery Blair Sibley. He filed a Certified Petition for Writs Quo Warranto and Mandamus in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, the proper legal forum. The judge, Amy Jackson Berman, apparently doesn’t have the courage to address this issue because she has refused to respond.

Unfortunately, a new effort is underway and being heavily promoted by popular talk show hosts like Alex Jones. ‘Impeach 2012’ is a project by Sean Stone, son of movie producer, Oliver Stone. Another wasted effort by someone who, while his intentions may be from the heart, apparently has zero understanding of the constitutional problem of impeaching someone who never held the office. THAT is the meat of the legal issue.

But, how do we legally deal with it as we wait to see what the U.S. Supreme Court decides on April 20, 2012, and beyond?
By demanding a special prosecutor be appointed to deal with only one issue: The forged birth certificate. The role of a special counsel is to investigate wrong doing by the Executive Branch. Barry Soetoro released a forged document in his “official” capacity on April 27, 2011. He “owns it” now and for that alone, a special counsel could be appointed.

Justice Delayed, Justice Denied and the Number 23
It was no surprise to me that last Friday the Supreme Court denied my request that they expedite the determination of my petition which sought to compel the District Court to expedite resolution of my quo warranto suit against Barack Hussein Obama, II.
It is particularly saddening however. As of Friday, twenty-three (23) magistrates (1 District Court judge, 13 Circuit Court judges and 9 Supreme Court Justices) have refused to promptly adjudicate a seminal question: What does the eligibility requirement of Article II, Section 1 that a President be a “natural born Citizen” mean?
That question has never been directly answered by a federal court; though the considered weight of the legal scholarship on that issue persuasively concludes it means: (i) born in the United States, (ii) of two United States citizens. Clearly, Mr. Obama’s father was not a U.S. citizen. Ergo, Mr. Obama is not eligible to be President. In the 19th Century, that refusal to adjudicate would have been considered “treason to the Constitution” and a magistrate might well have lost his life-time appointment to the bench.
But what of the number 23? I don’t mean to go all Kabbalah but I am headed now to the Grand Jury as that is last bastion of the citizen’s right to compel their government to comply with the law. How many jurors are there on the Grand Jury? That’s right, Twenty Three.

REFUSED…REFUSED? Is the entire judicial system now corrupt? They don’t want to take on the rule of law in this country?
Is there not one judge who has our country’s best interest at heart? Is there not one judge who upholds the Constitution? Have all the judges in this country received a memo that included photos of a horse’s head in their bed? What is the hold that this administration has over everyone that opposes Obama in a court of law? This is one bad dream after another = a friggin’ nightmare.
He said earlier on his blog that this won’t be decided before the nominating convention in Sept. So there’s our answer. Unless it’s not as bad as it seems at first glance. Having gotten themselves into this pickle, they need an easy way to ease out of it. If the DemocRATS for some reason do not nominate Obama or if he loses in November, then by the time they consider this challenge, it will be a moot point. Then they will simply dismiss it and they won’t have to ignore his VALID argument (that they must know is valid and constitutional) and at the same time they won’t have to make a judgment that Obama was NEVER eligible, with all the mess that would leave behind. They likely believe that this is in the best interest of the country. That’s the same reason WHY the media and the Congress, especially the Republicans, do their best to ignore it. AT THIS POINT, chaos will result and (they think) race riots at worst or racial animosity for decades to come (at best) will ensue. OR, as you suggest, the horse head in the bed …
However, amazingly enough, I heard a radio talk show host yesterday say that the fix is in for Romney. He said the MEDIA is fixing it for Romney and that Romney WILL BE the next POTUS. While that may be true, I never thought I’d hear anyone actually claim that the media will get Romney elected. We’ve always suspected he was the annointed one for this election, but I figured annointed to lose, as McCain was chosen by the media to lose. Time will tell.

The original simply referred to Obama’s “former home nation,” and was corrected to reflect that he is of Kenyan heritage. No other changes were made. Acknowledging this change in the article is again reflective of journalistic integrity.

If I understand correctly, you originally meant to write that he’s OF Kenyan heritage but you instead wrote that Kenya is his “former home nation?” That sounds more like an outright mistake in choosing words than a mistake of “judgment.” Can’t argue with you for wanting to be neutral and maintain objectivity. If only the mainstream media would do the same.
I watched this last night, and Beckel didn’t see the guy showing his fingers of 5 – 4 – 3 – 2 -1 Live (back from the break). He then started saying that he wasn’t told and blaming Hannity. He was arguing with a tea party gal and she was getting the best of him. He shut up and then looked worried that his outburst would get him fired, and Hannity stuck up for him…why? It went on for several minutes of determining why he didn’t know the show was back from the break. He refused to apologize. Hannity should run the show better is something like he said. He didn’t want to take responsibility for his use of the word. I can’t stand him so it would be great if he was fired.

I think that someone else was working along with him. Anyway, if you remember him, do you know what happened to him? I have been trying to find out if Kenya has any mandatory testing for HIV for its citizens coming and going from the country. Wondering because Obama and Michelle made a big deal, as a humanitarian and educational gesture supposedly, to be tested while “visiting” Kenya. At the time of reading about it, eons ago, I thought it was a convenient and slick way to get tested to find out if HIV. I wondered if Michelle took seriously Larry’s allegations and knew if tested in US a positive result would be reported to CDC or something of the sort. Testing in US around the time Larry was really pushing with his information would have only given credit to the allegations. Wonder also, if the overseas testing was done soon after Larry sent Michelle a letter with identifying information that only her husband’s doctor or her would know about. Kenya would keep mum about the results for say, uhm, a payoff like they just received from the US??? So, if went to get tested because mandatory for citizen’s, then well, what does that make him? Or using a “cause” as cover for needed and demanded by Michelle testing? Either way, seems something is being admitted.

Speaking of which, Zimmerman’s hispanic neighbors came out today to speak in his defense. Telling the media that they personally witnessed him bandaged on the day after the shooting. That his nose was swollen and broken, too. Interesting, huh? Like I said, the “visuals” of him being booked would make him sympathetic to the hispanic community in Florida. The neighbors also said that they talked to the cops, but that Corey’s new investigative team never contacted them.

The acting GSA administrator, Dan Tangherlini, has stated that currently 12 officials have been terminated or placed on leave in connection to the scandal.”
Placed on leave with full pay – not exactly tough on them. If they resign, they resign with full pay or pensions too. Congress needs to change the rules for situations like this. It wouldn’t happen in the private sector. But oh wait, the government employees are part of the unions, aren’t they. That is why it is so difficult to get rid of the non productive employees or those that don’t do the work, or are criminals. Yet it appears there are upcoming hearings where bribes and kickbacks will be exposed. We can expect some criminal trials? So far all of the criminal behavior we have knowledge of and have observed, the scoundrels are getting away with. No penalties, no trials, and on to another job with another democratic agency.
I think I heard the head administrator had to take 12 trips to Las Vegas to determine if that resort was where they should hold their convention. 12 trips – really? The cost was around $135,000. to the taxpayers for his trips. When I put on conventions, we also did fact finding trips…but you know who paid? The hotels that wanted our business paid for everything for 2 – 3 days. We had a contract from them when we left for everything we needed, and all we had to do was sign it. We went to 3 or 4 places and a determination was made from those trips. We didn’t need 12 trips to the same place. The GSA needs a meeting coordinator to take over for the job the Administrator (Jeffrey Neely) apparently was unqualified to do. I doubt that the responsibility of locating a meeting place is in his list of job responsibilities. He took the taxpayers for a real plane ride…or should I say 12 rides! Nice of his wife to put his photo of him in the bathtub up on Facebook too! Classy.
I watched one segment of the hearing and saw all of these jokers take the 5th. The funniest one was of Neely when asked if he was employed by the GSA, and he took the 5th. It was ridiculous. He was advised to answer all questions the same way.

A memo from a British diplomat in Washington to Whitehall – released today by the National Archives in West London – sets out their concerns about the young Kenyans. Dated September 1, 1959, it says: ‘I have discussed with the State Department. They are as disturbed about these developments as we are. They point out that Kenya students have a bad reputation over here for falling into the wrong hands and for becoming both anti-American and anti-white.’ In one of the Foreign Office files, the future president’s father appears on a list of Kenyan students as ‘OBAMA, Barack H’ – they shared the same name.
Mr Obama Snr was among 100 or so Kenyan students brought to America by the African American Students Foundation. U.S. and British officials were deeply suspicious of this outfit, observing that the AASF – though backed by singer Harry Belafonte and actor Sidney Poitier – had links to a Kenyan nationalist leader</em>. ‘The motives behind this enterprise, therefore, seem more political than educational,’ warned a letter from the British Embassy in Washington. It added: ‘The arrival here of these students, many of them of indifferent academic calibre and ill-prepared for the venture, is likely to give rise to difficult problems.’
Mr Obama Snr, who died in 1982, is not singled out for concern in any of the documents. After leaving Hawaii he took a PhD in economics at Harvard and later became a senior economist with the Kenyan government.

Sad news. Dick Clark died today at 82 years old of a massive heart attack. I grew up with American Bandstand and he was certainly is a legend of our times. We learned to dance because of that show. God speed Dick, generations of kids were under your spell. Prayers to his family.

He’s discovered that their software doesn’t like any links, so it’s a false alarm.
