Hey, Hey, Ho, Ho,
Obama’s Got to Go!

Tampa’s the place to be this week and all of the excitement centers around the GOP Convention. Those that arrive are set up to do battle, complete the GOP Platform, pray that Hurricane Issac changes course, and nominate the two candidates, Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan, to lead the Republican party to victory in November.

The time-honored tradition is that the opposition not attend each others conventions.  Time honored meaning respectfully cease and desist protesting or attending the oppositions events while they are in session.   The Obama we know doesn’t give a hoot about laws, rules, or traditions. How do we know?  Well, from observing him for 3 1/2 years and because he is sending Michelle to Tampa to represent the asses err donkeys.  They needed someone to bring up the rear and Michelle was chosen.

Joe Biden cancelled his appearance in Tampa at the end of last week in fear of hurricanes or fear of being further branded for his idiotic behavior not befitting a vice president.   Nah, scratch that thought …  anything goes with this regime.    If it is a classy event, it isn’t sponsored by the DemoncRats. Those from the Left like ’em dirty, carrying knapsacks, doing drugs, and taking leaks on cars, tires, street signs, or lamp posts. They do like to define their territory!  Tacky and disgusting wardrobes are a must, and sleeping bags a requirement.  The uglier the better!    I do think they have roving drummers and chanters who get shipped from one state to another to bring attention to themselves (as if these whack jobs aren’t noticed by their appearance and odor, and it isn’t Chanel folks.).

The Obama camp doesn’t want to give the GOP a time to shine so their tentacled organizations have plans to disrupt, invade, take over, and harass participants in whatever manner they have chosen.  The Democrat’s allies, such as OWS Tampa, Black Panthers, unions, rebranded ACORN members, anarchists, communists, socialists and other Ismistas plan to do their best to bring about chaos and interrupt proceedings in Tampa.   They have their agendas, outlines, talking and shouting points, prepared signs, weapons, video cameras, twitter feeds, and costumes readied.

No doubt the Soros paid crowds will be in attendance to fake some assault videos. They’ll have actors in police uniforms beat up on a “victim” so their  dramatized antics can get some prime time.   You can be sure that all the radical groups are invited to attend and raise hell like all juveniles do.  It’s a “fun for OWS”  kind of event.

The biased media have their convention areas and hotel war rooms set up to deliver as much propaganda as they can. No doubt their talking points and entire articles have already been created, and all they need do is change a title and add their by lines to their prepared articles.  For them it is a week of vacation.  Really, how long does it take to type a new title and hit send on a computer!

Like you, I am looking forward to hearing positive and inspiring speeches this week.  It is estimated that over 50 million people will view speeches presented by selected speakers.  We definitely need a lift after 4 years of dealing with the most corrupt, divisive, depressing, and lawless administration in our nation’s history.  As  we’ve heard it said, “We have no where to go but up!”  We do need some R & R!

We are going to bounce the lying, usurping, squatter who is using the name of Obama on his big floppy ears come November! True patriotic Americans are going to see to that! Yes indeed, we’re sending him and his family packin’! They can go back to the home they don’t own in Chicago  and take all their commie friends with them. You can be sure as shootin’ that those anti-Americans will go back to their sewers and pray they aren’t arrested when the White House changes hands. Their cover has been blown, their agenda exposed, and the thugs will be scurrying like rats.

The next two months will be exciting as the Right ramps up their attacks on Obama and Biden! The best part is that the attacks will be truthful not manufactured.   The GOP has plenty of ammunition to use and we can be sure it will be.

The Emptiest Suit has  earned his label of TWAP! That is the only award that is a genuine win for Obama! He wins it hands down!  Of course, Jimmy Carter is thrilled that his title as the worst president in the United States will be removed once Obama is defeated in a GOP landslide. (Don’t be believing those rigged polls that are showing this is an even race! Think Chick Fil-A!) Jimmy’s position will be going up a notch when former presidents are evaluated for their accomplishments. In fact, I heard he will be having a huge party to celebrate the step-up and will send everyone home with peanuts to feed the thundering Elephants.  Meanwhile, Obama will be relegated to the bottom of the donkey dung heap!  With Obama it will be a quick evaluation.  (His accomplishments will  probably be as short as his resume – not the embellished one.)

Just an observation, I haven’t heard a thing about a presidential library being erected in the One’s  honor.  (Yes, I know using honor in the same sentence with Obama is a stretch!).  What the heck would they showcase there anyway? Will they have some empty boxes where documents used to be, or a china plate with his face emblazoned on it? How about showcasing one or a dozen of those leftover mugs with his fraudulent birth certificate on them.  It would be a pretty pathetic showing don’t you think?  This might be a case of  “If we build it, no one comes.”

Here I am just prattling on as I envision the moving vans in front of the White House. I’d like to be there cheering those movers on. Yeah, those con men that occupied our White House will be getting a real ‘move on’.   Is the antique furniture nailed to the floor?  Or did Hillary and Bill already take all of it?   Oh heck, let them have the Christmas bulbs with Mao on them and get that Socialist  rug out of the Oval office!  Do wrap up that Chinese flag that they hung over the U.S.  flag at the White House too.    They may need it where they are going.  They mustn’t forget that kneeling rug that he keeps hidden under his desk.   Additionally, do let them load up those hundreds of  photos featuring the  narcissist Barack  that line the entire hall way.   You are familiar with the photos he had taken with all of the dignitaries, like the NFL team, Stevie Wonder, and  George Clooney, etc.  Aren’t you?  By the way, did anyone ever see a framed photo of Stanley Ann or his dad (whoever he is)  on his desk?  You’re right, why would he keep photos of people he didn’t even know.

The Romneys won’t want a photo of Barack on any wall when they move in.  We can be assured that Mitt won’t be walking up to a photo of Barack when he has a problem and think “What would Barack do?”

Personally,  I will be so relieved to never see Obama’s face again.   I don’t want to check which ears he’s wearing, where his mole has moved to on his face,  observe his hair color,  check out his scars, or view his hand size changes.  I don’t want to check out his teeth or watch him give the finger to people he doesn’t like.    And I will be ecstatic to never see those ads featuring his signature colors in light blue, dark blue and red with the Muslim crescent sign that adorn every web page.   My happiest moment will be when I no longer hear hissssssss voice!  That time is coming Folks!  We’ll be doing a little jig! (Is that racist?)

My television has taken a beating during the last 4 years.   I am very lucky that the screen is still in tact.  As I  watched TV,  if his face appeared, inevitably I would throw something or walk up to slap him while cussing.   Truly,  I am amazed at the words that came from my mouth.  You’d think I’d been a sailor!  It will be a tremendous relief when I don’t have to use Windex on a daily basis to remove my hateful  spittle from the screen.  How about you?

Onward and Upward R & R!

This is where we will be posting information about the Convention throughout the week. The other open threads are for unrelated news.  Praying that Issac makes a turn!

  1. Has anyone read the entire GOP platform yet?

GOP Convention Goes to Bat for Akin
August 29, 2012 by Eric Rauch

Yesterday, the GOP Convention voted in favor of a party platform that supported banning abortion. This came on the heels of a CNN poll released late last week that showed that the vast majority of Americans favored either very limited legality or complete illegality of abortion. For once, the GOP seems to be making a statement and sticking to it.

  2. Tonight, Wednesday, the Republican convention will gavel in at 7 p.m. and will begin with speeches from Kentucky Senators Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul. Other big-name speakers in the lineup tonight include Sen. John McCain, Sens. John Thune and Rob Portman, Governors Luis Fortuno and Tim Pawlenty.

The night’s big remarks come at the end from Condoleezza Rice, Gov. Susana Martinez, and then the closing speech from VP nominee Paul Ryan.

  3. There’s supposed to be a “mystery speaker” addressing the GOP delegates on Thursday evening, and some suspect it is Clint Eastwood. Might this be Donald’s night instead? Sarah? Herman? It’s Mitt’s night so it shouldn’t be someone that can overpower him. It is fun to think about. Meanwhile, we know the media is trying to find out and eliminate the surprise. By already publishing that it might be Clint, they might have successfully done that. Yet there is no confirmation from the anonymous source with a big mouth. Amazing how the media can find things within hours, but hasn’t found anything on Obama in 4 years. They are truly amazing. I suspect someone else is writing another book and holding the information they’ve located.

  4. The RNC has begun. “We Can Change It!” is the theme for tonight by the speakers.

Attorneys Generals Sam Olens(GA) and Pam Bondi (FL) are speaking. They are the ones who sued Obamacare all the way to the Supreme Court. It was decided that it was a tax and Justice John Roberts was the deciding vote.

Senator John Thune (R) South Dakora.

  5. Sen. Rob Portman (R) Ohio

Instead of 4 more years, how about “No More Years!”

  6. Gov. Pawlenty (R) MN Welcome to Obama’s Retirement Party!

Paul Ryan will accept the GOP Nomination for Vice President around 10:24 pm EST.

  7. Condoleezza Rice‘s speech was magnificent! We are an exceptional nation! She gave a global overview and explained the importance of the USA throughout the world.

We owe our volunteers on the front lines (our military) our eternal gratitude!

“Where Does America Stand?” Since WWII “we stand for free peoples and free markets. We will defend and support them.”

[America] “We must not be reluctant to lead and we can not lead from behind.”

Regarding our foes: “Peace really does come through strength.”

“No country, no not even a rising China, can do more harm to us than we can do to ourselves.”

“It doesn’t matter where you came from, it matters where you are going!”

“We have never been jealous of on another’s successes.”[until Obama gave us class division according to his Marxist views.]

Regarding education: This is “the civil rights issue of our day!”

  8. Paul Ryan’s Speech was heart warming. As he was speaking, and I don’t remember what he said, I noticed that I had tears in my eyes. At the same time the camera panned to Scott Walker who had a tear running down his face. (I am quite sure that is who it was, but it might have been someone who looked like him.). People should feel much more confident after listening to Paul’s articulate speech that was complete with identifying problems and offering solutions to our problems. He holds American’s traditions close to his heart. Paul gave us the gift of light and let us remember how things were before this administration was put in place. We can see light at the end of this dark Ismistic tunnel that we have been traveling through for 4 years.

It was another inspiring night. The RNC has done a fantastic job in their choices of speakers and the setting the tone for the convention. Notice the civility and respect for one another. Manners, yes manners are present.

I’d give all our readers a hug if we were together! I am so uplifted!

    • From Paul’s Exceptional Speech

“Without a change in leadership, why would the next 4 years be any different?”

The Obama stimulus –“it was wasted money.” In fact,“it was borrowed, spent and wasted!”

Obama’s administration is a “ship trying to sail on yesterday’s winds.”

Paul said they promise to keep spending at 20% or less of GDP because that is enough!

“The United States is still the greatest force for liberty that the world has ever known.”

People out of work: “College graduates should not have to live out their 20s in their childhood bedrooms, staring up at fading Obama posters and wondering when they can move out and get going with life.” That was hilarious!

Paul described the American dream and said he’d take his idea of the American Dream over that of “central planners!”! [Socialism, communism was disguised in this comment unless you know the concept.] I found his statement from his prepared speech.

“I never thought of myself as stuck in some station in life. I was on my own path, my own journey, an American journey where I could think for myself, decide for myself, define happiness for myself. That’s what we do in this country. That’s the American Dream. That’s freedom, and I’ll take it any day over the supervision and sanctimony of the central planners.”

    • it was Scott Walker

    • Paul Ryan’s speech was incredibly amazing. I stood up and cheered him several times. It was hilarious when he said – Kids in their 20′s shouldn’t have to be stuck in their childhood bedrooms looking up at their faded
Obama posters wondering when they can get out and their life will start! He got a standing aviation! Double thumb’s up to Ryan 🙂

  9. Powerful night… what a JOY to see & feel the crowds NEED FOR CHANGE…. This is REAL…this Message needs to enter US ALL!!!!!
Loved Ryans MOM & his super cute daughter…. WTPOTUS……
AMERICA the BEAUTIFUL……. God is GOOD!!!!!!
    MITT & PAUL…… YEA!

  10. Mike Huckabee (I didn’t know he was on the schedule). Both Pawlenty’s and Huckabee’s speeches were attacks on Obama and his administration.

“Let’s give Obama a proposition he can’t refuse. Let’s vote him out!

He said, “I’m not concerned about Obama’s past, I’m concerned about our country’s future.”

[So are we Huck, but we can worry about two things at the same time, and one will definitely affect our future and has greatly had a negative effect on our past! The Constitution is our past, present and future! This is an acknowledgement that he knows about the eligibility issues and questionable background of the usurper, don’t you think?]

    • Video: Huckabee’s strong appeal to evangelicals
August 30, 2012 posted at 8:41 am Snip

“Let me clear the air about whether guys like me would only support an evangelical,” Mike Huckabee said Wednesday night during his speech at the Republican National Convention. “Of the four people on the two tickets, the only self-professed evangelical is Barack Obama, and he supports changing the definition of marriage, believes that human life is disposable and expendable at any time in the womb or even beyond the womb, and tells people of faith that they must bow their knees to the god of government and violate their faith and conscience in order to comply with what he calls health care.” …

“I care far less as to where Mitt Romney takes his family to church than I do about where he takes this country.”

  11. Ryan Charges At Obama In RNC Speech, Vows GOP Won’t “Duck The Tough Issues”
    August 29, 2012 Snip

TAMPA, FLA. – Paul Ryan, if only for a night, shelved his budget-nerd persona and used his Republican convention address to lunge – again and again – at President Obama while accusing his White House of economic malpractice.

“It all started off with stirring speeches, Greek columns, the thrill of something new,” Ryan said. “Now all that’s left is a presidency adrift, surviving on slogans that already seem tired, grasping at a moment that has already passed, like a ship trying to sail on yesterday’s wind.”

From start to finish, the speech was an unceasing assault on Obama’s record. By the end, he drew thunderous cheers and applause from the convention crowd. And as he has in the past, Ryan tried to draw a sharp contrast throughout.

Obama’s term, he said, has been “a dull, adventureless journey from one entitlement to the next, a government-planned life, a country where everything is free but us.

  12. Herman Cain fires up Tea Party supporters in Tampa (video)
    Aug 27, 2012

The tea parties had a Unity rally in Tampa and there were 2,000 people there!
Herman spoke to activists ahead of convention as did Michelle Bachman. Herman said he is still on a mission to defeat Barack Obama in November.

He said, there are closeted conservative Blacks who don’t show up in the polls that will vote for R & R. From some poll that he referenced, it said that “zero” blacks will vote for R & R. Herman said, I am not a zero! So at the rally he said, “Would all my favorite zeros please stand up!”

  13. Here’s the Speech by a Utah Mayor at the RNC That Has Everyone Talking (Transcribed and Video)
    August 28, 2012 Snips

Mia Love, mayor of Saratoga Springs, Utah and GOP candidate for U.S. Congress, outperformed expectations in her speech at the Republican National Convention on Tuesday, blasting President Obama for his “failed” policies and explaining why he isn’t the right candidate to protect the “American dream.”

She is hoping to become the first black GOP congresswoman, Fox News reports. Love is also a first-generation Haitian-American and a Mormon.
    ~
On President Obama, she said “his policies have failed us. We’re not better off than we were four years ago. And no rhetoric, bumper sticker or Hollywood campaign ad can change that.” At this line, the crowd erupted with applause.

Then she spoke directly to Obama: “Mr. President, I’m here to tell you the American people are awake and we’re not buying what you’re selling in 2012,” Love said to more applause.

“This is the America we know because we built it,” said Love.

    UPDATE:

After her success at the RNC Tuesday, Mia Love’s Wikipedia page was reportedly edited to call her a “dirty, worthless wh*re“ and a ”house ni**er.”

  14. Not Forgotten… John McCain Remembers Neda at RNC
    August 29, 2012

On June 20, 2009, a beautiful young woman who was standing with her father watching the Green Revolution protests in Iran was shot by a basiji member hiding on the rooftop of a civilian house.

Tonight John McCain remembered Neda in his speech at the RNC Convention.

    From John McCain’s speech:

“But most of all, we can’t afford to abandon the cause of human freedom. When long-suffering peoples demand liberation from their jailers and torturers and tyrants, the leader of the free world must stand with them.

    Unfortunately, this is not happening.

When Iranians rose up by the millions against their oppressive rulers, when they beseeched our president, chanting in English, “Are you with us, or are you with them?”, when the entire world watched as a brave young woman named Neda was shot and bled to death in a street in Tehran.

The president missed a historic opportunity to throw America’s full moral support behind an Iranian revolution that shared one of our highest interests: ridding Iran of a brutal dictatorship that terrorizes the Middle East and threatens the world.

The situation is far worse in Syria. What began as peaceful protests has now become, 18 months later, a savage and unfair fight. With the full backing of Iran, and Hezbollah, and Russia-with tanks, and helicopters, and fighter jets, Bashir Assad is murdering men, women and children”

  15. She had quite a story to tell and her rise to fame is interesting. Plus she was a democrat until she shared ideas with some republicans and found out through those discussions that she was indeed a republican. [How many people follow their parents and never know why they themselves choose a particular party over the other?]

Transcript of New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez’s speech at RNC Aug. 29

If he [Obama] can take credit for government building small businesses, then he can accept responsibility for breaking his promise and adding $5 trillion to the national debt. Because he did build that.

    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/08/29/transcript-new-mexico-gov-susana-martinez-at-rnc/

  16. This may already be posted here somewhere, if so, my apologies 🙂
Interesting post from the WHI today: this part isn’t surprising but still should make everyone angry.

The debates are gonna be huge. Not since 1980 will they be so important. If Romney edges Obama there, he might wrap this thing up. If Obama is seen as winning, we got a fight to November. I will say this, Romney is going to be a hell of a lot tougher in those debates than McCain. We knew that in ’08. McCain is horrible in that environment and that is why we wanted him to be the nominee. Obama already won those debates before they had even started.

  17. Confirmed that it is Clint Eastwood who will be the mystery speaker tonight. It should be an electrifying night.

Also, read that both Mitt and Paul get their personal jets tomorrow. They will be unveiled then.

  18. Make my DAY… Clint…. this should be fun tonight… & personal jets….
$$$$ MONEY well SPENT! Sunshine nugget gold would be nice.

  19. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Hollywood/2012/08/30/eastwood-confirmed-mystery-speaker-rnc
Happy go lucky… he’s packin’ .. I’d know that face anywhere in a crowd.

  20. Comment moved to Open Thread

  21. Clint Eastwood

“We all know that Biden is the intellect of the Democratic Party.”

I’m sorry, I can’t do that to myself either!

    We own this country!

When somebody doesn’t do the job, we’ve got to let them go!

I’ll start it, you finish it.
In unison, the crowd yelled, “Make my day!”

    • The media is excoriating Clint for showing up at the RNC. In their eyes, he must be a traitor. He made me smile and laugh at a couple lines sure to become famous.!

      • I didn’t get to see him so I hope there’s video I can watch some other day, when I have more time. I’m going to crash now, but what I heard was that the media says Clint was “rambling” in his address. Is that code? If so, they’d better watch out. Clint’s still more a man than most of them. Cute, too.

        • I think it was his entire schtick. All meant to be. After all he is an actor. Hopefully, it will be on You Tube. Unless they were trying to insinuate that he is old and then they are stepping on lots of toes with their remarks.

          • I’m sure that “rambling” was one of the talking points. I read that exact word, along with “bizarre”, in today’s newspaper. It’s like they used “gravitas” in the past and “sloppy” for Sandy Burglar and so many others that by now I’ve forgotten them. This is what the JournOlist does best. Somebody probably got a preview of his speech and prepared in advance what they ought to say to DIMINISH the effect. Yep. 5000+ results for “Eastwood” and “rambling”. Huffpo, among them. “Incoherent” was there, too. So it’s OBVIOUS, at least to me, that it was a slam about his age.

            • It may be that they want to “explain” his sudden conversion to conservatism as an effect of dementia, since, as you know, all conservatives are deranged mentally, anyway. At least according to DemoncRAT progressives.

          • I think he states here how he has played it; Close to the Vest! How many more conservatives will come out of the conservation closet in Hollywood?

” You are thinking, what’s a movie tradesman doing out here? You know they are all left wingers out there, left of Lenin. At least that is what people think. That is not really the case. There are a lot of conservative people, a lot of moderate people, Republicans, Democrats, in Hollywood. It is just that the conservative people by the nature of the word itself play closer to the vest. They do not go around hot dogging it.

    • The following is a transcript of actor Clint Eastwood’s speech at the Republican National Convention on Aug. 30, 2012.

      http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/08/30/transcript-clint-eastwood-speech-at-rnc/?intcmp=trending

    • Clint Eastwood at GOP Convention

    • Watching it again, I see him talking to the “invisible” man or an empty suit.

  22. This post was a tour de force, Bridgette. I haven’t had so many good belly laughs in a looooooong time. Envisioning that nonexistent pResidential library was sheer inspiration. What WILL they put in there? All the photos of Barry with haloes? His various TOTUSes? (Should that be TsssOTUS?) That empty box for missing documents that you talked about? Ha! That was a good one.

I suggest photo albums full of photoshopped “family” pictures. Maybe they could even make a game of it, to sell in the gift shop. Souvenirs for children. Like paper dolls and Mr. Potato Head combined. The kids could change out the ears, moles, hair, heads (for head games), clothing.

Oh, yeah! And then there will be the display of Mooch’s dresses, including the Communist Election Night Fiasco, aka the Black Widow dress. http://scottthong.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/mofashion09.jpg?w=450 And that “toilet paper gown”. Remember that one? http://stylefrizz.com/img/michelle-obama-jason-wu-white-dress-inauguration-ball.jpg Compare to this: http://s3.socialvixen.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/Toilet-Paper-Dress-4.jpg

But wait! Those First Lady dresses go into the Smithsonian. Maybe they’ll have to put a copy of these dresses in …. Wait! Where will they put that library? Kenya?

    • Ohh, thanks so much Miri.

I had forgotten the TP gown. I believe if it is put into the Smithsonian that it will turn yellow with age. How appropriate. Ha.

    • They could just put the Obama Library at Disney or Fantasy Island, then they could just keep creating ficticious DREAMS for him and all who still mourn for more .

      • Wherever they put it, they need to use those Greek columns. And I hope there’s room for the pre-presidential presidential airplane and seal.

  23. Marco Rubio – Hitting it out of the park!

“He’s not a bad person, our problem is that he’s a bad president.

Obama’s vision – These are ideas that people come to American to get away from!

Under Obama’s old slogan, hope is hard to find.

“Hope and Change has become Divide and Conquer.”

“Almighty God is the source of all we have!”

“In God we Trust” is the most important value of all.

  24. Mitt Romney

“I accept your nomination for president of the United States.”

“My promise is to help you and your family!”

    “God Bless Neil Armstrong!”

“We celebrate success in America. We don’t apologize for success.”

“Now is the time to restore the promise of America.”

  25. Yes, he can! What a team they will make! Dropping of the balloons!

  26. Mitt Romney…my promise is to HELP you and Your Family….
Replace Obama-care…… turn the page …it’s behind us… give up on BO…but NOT ourselves
    5 Steps…. let’s start…… let’s roll…. Jobs lots of Jobs!

    • “…repeal and replace Obamacare” Ouch. I don’t want no blanking replacement. Everything else was fine and wow, what an ending to Mitt’s speech. Well, except, were those teleprompters set up for Mitt?????

Love how there are lots of little jabs at Obama like when Mitt referenced having better play list on ipod than Ryan. Think Obama gift to Queen…there are lots of little droppings like that in Ann’s speech, Ryans, Mitt’s. So many. And I love it. Maybe I will get time to look over transcripts and point out all of them. It is funny once you start seeing them. Bravo to the speech team!

  27. Miri.. not a cool time 2 leave us here….. came back for the icing huh?

    • I’m sorry, Zenway. I didn’t leave on purpose. Unforeseen circumstances. But I’m back now and will try to contribute more. Thanks for missing me. 🙂 I’m as sorry as you that I missed most of the convention speeches, but thank goodness for the links Bridgette and others provided. I’ll be able to catch up.

  28. Mitt showed his compassionate side and embraced America and our values and traditions. He was most inspiring because you know that he believes in our country, our nation, and her people.

Tears came to me once again when he told the story about his dad giving his mother a rose every day and leaving it by her bedside. She knew when he died because there was no rose. How touching was that to know the love shared within his family. I think he was emotional at that moment when he shared that story.

    Not inclusive:
He said he had a plan to create 12 million new jobs.
He will repeal and replace Obamacare
He will not raise taxes on the middle class.
The US is to be energy independent by 2020
He said he would honor the sanctity of life
He will honor the institution of marriage.
They will cut deficits and put America on tract to a balanced budget.

He said, I will begin my presidency with a jobs tour instead of an apology tour.

Loved it when Mitt said our allies would see more loyalty and that “Mr. Putin will see more backbone” in response to Obama’s open mic talk to tell Putin that he would be more flexible after the election.

    USA, USA, USA, USA!

    • “He will begin his presidency with a jobs tour instead of an apology tour. ”
      and
““Mr. Putin will see more backbone”

Both phrases will go down in history. Awesome.

      • Those lines stood out for me, too. I liked what he said about promising to help families (instead of healing the Earth and stopping the rise of the seas.) SNARK.

    • That made me cry, too. He almost cried as well. What a sweet, sad story.

      • It occurs to me that he learned well from his own loving father. You can see it there in his own family–the love he and his wife share and the children (and grandchildren) that came from their love. It’s very touching. They’re still very much in love, that’s obvious, and they don’t have to stage kisses at basketball games or have their so-called “hometown” put up a phony baloney plaque to commemorate their bogus “first kiss”. This is REAL. And guess what? They took their kids AND the dog (by any means necessary) on their family vacations. They didn’t send the kids away for the entire summer.

  29. I am thinking back over the night and having all of those Olympians on stage was brilliant.

  31. Jeb Bush: Mr. President, time to stop blaming your predecessor for your failed economic policies VIDEO – not in total
August 30, 2012 by Erika Johnsen Snip

I Love my brother. He kept us safe

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush was one of tonight’s early speakers here at the Republican National Convention, and he opened his speech with a big crowd-pleaser: In a nutshell, President Obama can take his “inherited” problems and stick ‘em where the sun don’t shine.

Heh. Well said, Gov. Bush — ain’t it the truth, ain’t it the truth.

The meat of Gov. Bush’s speech, however, was all about the potential for education reform and the successes that individual states have seen in creating more opportunity for young people with school choice and by taking on the power of the teachers’ unions.
