General Dwight D. Eisenhower was buried in his World War II uniform. It consists of “pink” trousers and the green “Ike” jacket that he made famous. Although he was one of the most decorated military men in history, his uniform had only the following medals: Army Distinguished Service Medal with three oak leaf clusters, Navy Distinguished Service Medal, and the Legion of Merit.
President Eisenhower believed that leading the troops at Normandy was his most important and lasting accomplishment, and honor.

During World War II (1939-1945), the Battle of Normandy, which lasted from June 1944 to August 1944, resulted in the Allied liberation of Western Europe from Nazi Germany’s control. Today we remember all of those brave troops, including those of our allies. We honor all of them: Those who gave their lives so that we may remain free, as well as the veterans who returned to our everlasting gratitude.

I just found that photo identified as Ralph Dunham on several other sites, just bad reporting again.
SEO, yes, that is the man that has always been identified as Ralph Dunham. Supposedly, he and Stan were in WWII together and in England at the same time and even met up in London by accident. The photo of Stan in his uniform, naturally, comes with a “story” about how Stan didn’t have his uniform jacket and so borrowed someone else’s for the photograph, which “explains” why the uniform and medals (iirc) don’t match the so-called narrative of Stan’s time during the War.

The last picture, the one of the two brothers in uniform, that’s the one I referred to above, where Stan allegedly “borrowed” someone else’s uniform jacket. This became the narrative after the photo was first shown about, and military buffs mentioned the discrepancy between the military “history” and the uniform.

Despite the bogus photo of “Gramps”, that’s a wonderful photographic tribute. I didn’t see anything like that in our U.S. papers or on TV. Makes one wonder whether the media don’t fully appreciate the sacrifice these Americans made to defeat national SOCIALISM.
OK, I just had the weirdest thoughts. You don’t suppose even the nice kid stuck in a Mexican jail, could be anything other than what it appears to be do ya? I mean Mexico did sign the UN arms Treaty and they are thought to be one with the strictest of plans on the illicit illegal importation of any weapons, light or otherwise into their country. And then, this dude , who was stationed out of Florida, drives all the way to San Diego, with post traumatic stress disorder. He goes with all his stuff and his weapons as if he’s going to stay out there; but then (with his PTSD) his mother tells us he’s suppose to report for duty, back in Florida. That doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. Why would a guy with PTSD in the military need assistance in San Diego, if he was stationed in Florida, and knew he might be reporting back for duty? Everyone seems so innocent, but , call me cynical, but , why has Obama let it ride so long….with lots of attention growing on the matter, and we haven’t heard anything from the Mexican authorities much either. And if this guys really in big trouble, why is he getting such great treatment now, with access to the media and a telephone at all hours of the day? Somethings up, Maybe, maybe not, but the Mexican’s UN arms treaty might be about to be put to good use. Wouldn’t Obama love a stir with that? A dude with PTSD, certainly should have never been allowed to roam around across country even with weapons in his back seat, and then cross the boarder too. Oh my!!!!

He doesn’t have TV so he didn’t know anything about, but he’s not far from that border. He says it’s pretty well marked and it sure seems hard to get lost right there. alfy, what little I heard of the story is that he got in the wrong lane and ended up crossing the border. This, I can understand, because it almost happened to me once, except I made an admittedly illegal and fast U-turn. I’ll have to research his case before I comment any more about it. There’s so little in the media about it. I heard it on Glenn Beck’s show, which I don’t ordinarily listen to, but it comes on right after a show I do listen to, so caught a little background.
How many states would Andrew have driven thru with his weapons on top of all his belongings? THat’s pretty dangerous for him , even not crossing the boarder. Most anyone will tell you not to do that. If you get stopped you’re likely to be arrested in several states for having a weapon not registered in their state. Something’s not right. If this country is going to down we should be the ones to control it. First try to get sixty percent of companies to notify gov as of such a date they no longer will confiscate employee monies acting as tax agent for government. Think of what that will do. If can’t get this to happen. Patriots have to just pull out of system whether they are finished prepping or not. Whether they end up homeless. Whether they end up without medical care.
