The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday March 10th shows that 22% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President.

Forty-one percent (43%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -21. That matches the lowest Approval Index rating yet recorded for this President.

Fifty-seven percent (57%) believe that passage of the proposed health care legislation will hurt the economy. Just 25% believe it will help.
Sixty percent (60%) of parents believe that textbooks used by their students are more concerned about political correctness than accuracy.

Republicans hold a seven-point lead over Democrats on the Generic Congressional Ballot.

This is what a high B+ looks like in graph form according to US Citizens.  No wonder the guy won’t disclose his college grades. He thinks he’s sailing and we say he’s failing.  Okay, he improved by 3 negative points in a month.

Presidential Approval Index rating of -18.

January  22, 1010

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday, January 22,  shows that 25% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. I guess you are hard of hearing. HEAR THIS OBAMA!! MINUS 21!

Poll for Tuesday, December 22, 2009

by Bridgette

Helloooooo White House…Do you hear us now?

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday showed that 25% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove. This is the lowest Approval Index rating yet recorded for Obama.

This gives Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of MINUS SIXTEEN ( -16.)

UPDATE (by Red Pill)

The results centered on Obama’s inauguration (surveys collected 1/19/09 – 1/21/09) were released 1/22/09.

Compare the historical results from then to now:

Date Strongly Approve Somewhat Approve Neutral Somewhat Disapprove Strongly Disapprove
1/22/2009 44% 20% 7% 15% 14%
12/13/2009 23% 23% 1% 11% 42%
Difference -21% +3% -6% -4% +28%

NOTE: Obama’s “Stongly Approve” has dropped from 44% to 23% … meaning 21% of the voting population “Strongly Approved” of Obama at his inauguration, but no longer does. AT BEST, those all joined the “Somewhat Approve”, and 18% of the 20% who used to “Somewhat Approve” now do not approve of him at all. AT WORST, 3% joined the “Somewhat Approve” while fully 18% of the voting population went from “Strongly Approving” of Obama to not even approving of him at all now.

Seen from the other extreme, those who “Strongly Disapprove” increased from 14% of the voting population to 42%. Even if all of those who were “neutral” before, plus those who “somewhat disapproved” before, combined and now were to “strongly disapprove” of Obama, that still would only account for 22 of the 28 point increase in “Strongly Disapprove”. So at least 6% of the voting population went from approving of Obama to now “Stongly Disapproving” of Obama.

So, combining those two observations, AT BEST, 18% of the voting population went from either “Strongly Approving” or “Somewhat Approving” of Obama to 1% neutural, 11% somewhat disapprove, and 6% “Strongly Disapproving” now. Got that? At least six percent of the voting population has gone from approving of Obama to the other extreme: “Strongly Disapprove”.

Ed Morrisey writes:

The flight of independents continues, in other words. They’re more disillusioned than the electorate as a whole, with a -28 on the index and more than a 2-1 showing for strongly disapproving to strongly approving. Among seniors, it’s -29, and even the under-30 crowd has him at a -2. According to Rasmussen, Obama has also lost the middle class, noting that his weakest income demographics come from earners between $40K – $100K per year.

This sample includes one polling day on a weekend (yesterday), which normally would have given Obama a boost. It will be interesting to see what happens by Thursday of next week, when they poll likely voters on three weekdays instead.

  1. Just went to -19

    • Civil War along racial lines has been his goal since the day he announced his candidacy. Too bad there were no men among us then.

      • When the Rev. Wright videos went viral, and Team Obama went into full damage control mode, Obama gave a speech that the Lamestream Media called “an important speech on race”.

I recognized the speech for what it really was. The following post dissects Obama’s entire speech:

        Obama Nation:
Using Racism In Order To Form A More Socialist Union

        • Excellent interpretation of the meaning behind his words in your analysis Pill. You saw through him long before anyone else did, and his words can now can be assigned to his actions. He buffaloed half a nation and we are not reaping any rewards. If the media had vetted this man properly he wouldn’t be where he is. There is no applause for him now and his presidency will be as hollow as the awarding of the Nobel Peace prize. He is the albatross around our country’s neck.

        • .RP,

Brilliant analysis, and so early on as 3/08. Here’s what I think. As intelligent as you are, it is unlikely that you would have been so right on by reasoning power alone. It took an intimation of EVIL to begin with.

You may recall my having said at TD that I recognized who and what he was the first nano- second I ever saw him in 1/08. Because in my long life I never had such an immediate and violent response to any other human being, and since I have no ESP, I’ve asked myself many times what it’s all about. I can only regard my reaction–which is the same almost two years later– as instinctual and/or inspired.

And for you to have been on to him so soon, I think the same is true for you. The intellectual achievement came second.

An instinct against EVIL, EVIL in the full theological sense.

          • Mary,
            Thanks for your comment.

An instinct against EVIL, EVIL in the full theological sense.

            I agree.

Allow me to expound a bit on my thoughts in this area…

I support and defend the Constitution, including Article VI which says:

… no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.

One certainly does not have to be a Christian in order to qualify for the office of President.

But if a Presidential candidate voluntarily says they are a Christian, then I have every right as a Christian to test that candidate’s words against Romans 10:9

that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Has Barack Hussein Obama II ever confessed with his mouth the Lord Jesus? Has he ever confessed with his mouth, “Jesus is Lord”?

I’ve seen no evidence to show that he has, but I have seen that when given the perfect opportunity to do so, he did not.

Obama voluntarily went on TV with Rick Warren at Saddleback Church in California. And when Rick Warren said this to Obama:

Now, you’ve made no doubts about your faith in Jesus Christ. What does that mean to you?

That would have been the perfect time for Obama to say, “Jesus Christ is Lord, and I believe God has raised him from the dead. That is what makes me a Christian.”

But that’s not what Obama said. Quite to the contrary, Obama found that question “tough” to answer!

His answer did include “As a starting point, it means I believe in — that Jesus Christ died for my sins, and that I am redeemed through him.” But Jesus Christ died for EVERYONE’s sins, so that alone does not save you. You must confess the Lord Jesus and believe that God raised Him from the dead. It’s not enough to talk about Jesus Christ’s death on the cross. You must confess that He is Lord and you must believe in His resurrection. Obama failed to even mention that.

Obama went on to say, “And it means that those sins that I have on a fairly regular basis, hopefully will be washed away.”

Hopefully? That doesn’t sound like a person of true faith. That doesn’t sound like Obama believes 1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Obama went on to express his true beliefs… in the concepts of Social[ist] Justice. While some of the vidoes have been scrubbed from YouTube, there have been multiple times when Obama has publicly confessed his belief that his individual salvation depends on our “collective” salvation, even though the Bible is clear that our salvation is dependent on our individual confession and belief, not on any “collective” salvation.

            • Also, all it takes is the merest glance at his replies to Rick Warren’s question to see about whom obama was talking. Hint: it wasn’t the Father, the Son, or the Holy Spirit.

              I believe…I am redeemed…sins that I have….

    • What a sign! I think that sign is churning it up and it is working both ways!

      • It’s interesting how people are reacting to this.
Talk show hosts are scrambling to distance themselves. Why?

Do you notice how it can be read different ways? Sort of like everything Obama says.

The sign says nothing about violence or taking up arms against fellow countrymen. Doesn’t Obama talk about revolution when he talks about remaking America?

This sign says to me no more than what the Founders said. To paraphrase, when the government ceases to submit to the will of the People (which would happen if our so-called representatives ignore the will of the people and continue to ignore the Constitution) then We the People MUST throw it off and begin anew.

Wasn’t it Jefferson who said that there should be a revolution every 20 years in order to keep our Republic?

Where anywhere does this sign advocate violence? It doesn’t.

Someone called “libertyaboveall” said it better than I, on former Democratic Senator Jean Carnahan’s site:

“Wars can be waged in many ways. It does not take bloodshed to wage a war. . . . Americans are waking up and are waging a war on the lack of common sense present in Washington, not only in this administration but in past administrations as well. I happen to agree with the New Hampshire state motto, ‘Live Free or Die’. If we do not strive to live free we will certainly die. Maybe not physically through war, but as Americans in the land of the free and home of the brave, we will no longer exist.”

Interesting response that they got to this story about the billboard: 3 comments, two of which defend the billboard. Ruh, oh.

In Missouri, there’s also currently a proposal for an amendment to the state Constitution to “opt out” of ObamaCare. McCaskill, of course, and right on cue, went on national TV to call these legislators “dumb”. That’s like waving a red flag in front of a bull.

She’s so out of touch, it’s scary. Sad to say from her point of view, she’s going to fall under category two: vote them out. She seems clueless about that fact, although now that ACORN unconstitutionally will continue to exercise the “right” to abscond with our money against our will, perhaps she knows that ACORN will “help” her get the “votes” she needs to be reelected.

      • Watched John McCain before the Senate the other day lambasting the ridiculous spending of $4 BBBBillion, such as $3.9 mmmillion for researching knitting and weaving, $300,000 for seal research, $250,000 for a Father’s Day Rally Parade, etc.; McCain said, “They are spending like a drunken sailor and the bar is still open., …there’s a peaceful revolution going on out there and we’re going to end this obscene process and we’ll end it in 2010!!”
While I know some of you disagree with my support of McCain, the man, when it gets down to it, supports the USA and hates pork!

        • Ga. Peach: I don’t disagree with your support of McCain. I voted for him, although, when you consider the alternative it was a “duh” choice .

I believe in my heart that McCain is a patriot. In fact, it would be hard to find a man who has sacrificed more for his country. God bless him and all in the military who risk their lives to defend us every day. We NEED them on that wall.

McCain is great when he gets going. He’s a berserker’s berserker. When he speaks, people listen, if only because they know what a patriot and hero he is.

ALL Republicans and Independents and Democrats in Congress who care about our Republic and its future need to start shouting, before it’s too late.

Time to stand up for America, Congress. Do the job you are paid to do. Do the right thing.

  2. From the time I posted the initial Poll Results…it changed a whole 3 points! So glad you saw the new one Pill! It is great seeing the comparison!

Reminds me of a song, What a Difference A Day Made!

  3. 20% of Voters in favor of Impeaching Obama

    by John Charlton
(Dec. 10, 2009) — Public Policy Polling, a liberal polling company which has a reputation for predicting the election outcomes in swing states, has published a new poll showing that 20% of all voters and 35% of all Republicans are in favor of initiating proceedings to impeach Barack Hussein Obama.

The results are unprecedented in the history of the United States for an occupant of the White House whose policies alone have made him odious to the nation

The Post & Email previously published an analysis of the Ramussen polls, which indicate that Obama’s support is plummeting so fast, and anger towards him rising so fast, that he might in all likelihood be ousted by an Orange Revolution by July of 2011.

Rasmussen polls indicate Orange Revolution by July 2011
    Nov. 29 by John Charlton

    • Thanks for all the heartening info, Bridgette. As I said on Nov 5, 2008, obama will become the most hated man in America, and then in the world.

  4. Miri
    have you seen this?
BHO refuses to brief the intelligence committee on the Ft Hood shooting
    even CNN is reporting this

see the Obamafile for more info

    • Didn’t see that. Will check it out.

    • What Hoekstra needs to do is bring forward a bill to cut off funding until they ANSWER to the peoples’ representatives. These Republicans need to start squawking–LOUDLY. They are standing by and allowing themselves to be made irrelevant. When will they wake up? Only when it’s too late?

  5. Remember how that illustrious, genius geophysicist cum global weather expert Al Gore recently stated that the center of the Earth is “millions” of degrees HOT, suggesting that we can tap all that free heat and do away with all current modes of energy?

    Here’s an interesting story:

Scroll to the bottom to see how hot the core of the Earth is. Fyi, 3000 degrees Celsius is 5432 Fahrenheit. Not exactly millions of degrees, but who are these real scientists who have the gall to disagree with the Goracle?

To put things into perspective, to introduce a little levity, and to illustrate how closely science and religion are connected (a fact recognized by Einstein, another guy perhaps a tad smarter than Gore):

  6. More good news. Ruh, oh, #2:

“Rod Blagojevich’s lawyers want the FBI to give up details of interviews conducted last year of President Obama, his chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, White House adviser Valerie Jarrett and others as part of the investigation into the former governor.

In a Friday filing, Blagojevich attorneys also asked for information regarding first lady Michelle Obama. However, a source said late Friday that the FBI never interviewed the first lady.”

So what was that about a theft of records from a Blago’s lawyers?

    • That is great news…except will they plead the 5th or say the records are now sealed because the thugs are currently in the WH? Or perhaps those records have been stolen along with the computers? Will they get some sort of immunity? If they don’t hand them over, then will Blago be acquitted? What are the possibilities? Can they all claim executive privilege? Isn’t it perfect that Mr. Bauer, who knows where all the skeletons are buried, is residing at the WH. How convenient it all is. Get ’em Blago! I wonder if Rezko is still chirping or if he finally went to prison.

Computer theft…they want to know what their attorneys know. Simple. I wonder why they didn’t just use their talented computer hacks to lift the information. Burglars ..a new twist.

Do we have a lawyer in the house who can give us some possible scenarios?

      • I don’t think they can claim executive privilege for interviews taken before certain persons were in the Executive, but they will TRY anything and they will always stall. That’s why Bauer is there. That’s probably why half the people in the administration are there–because they KNOW things.

  7. Also, while today’s Rasmussen numbers show a one point improvement in those who “Strongly Approve” (from 23% to 24%), and a corresponding one point improvement in the Approval Index (from -19 to -18), the other numbers all hit New Records:

Strongly Disapprove is at a record high 42%
Total Disapprove is at a record high 55%
Total Approve is at a record low 44%

And even that Strongly Approve number (24%), while a point higher than yesterday’s 23%, is still a point lower than what had, before yesterday, been the record low (25%) that had only been reached on two prior days.

By all accounts, Obama’s approval is at record lows.

  8. That’s why the media blitz yesterday and also why he’s going after Wall Street bigwigs yet again. Class warfare is always a winner for progressives. Those are the people he’s TERRIFIED of losing. He knows those poll numbers don’t reflect only conservatives and independents.

The above is a link to a story you might already know about, but it’s worth repeating because it’s probably part of his plan to bump up those poll numbers and also to avoid having to “celebrate” Christmas.

We the People are paying for the cadre of invited media persons, plus guests, to go to Hawaii with the Obamas and supply fawning “news” coverage.

And they criticize Glenn Beck for conflict of interest.

  9. Did you know what they snuck into the budget bill? A provision to allow them to bring the GITMO terrorists to the US.

  10. Something else to note from today’s Rasmussen poll:

Overall, 44% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance. That’s the lowest level yet measured for this president. Previously, his overall approval rating had fallen to 45% twice, once in early September and once in late November.

Seventy-two percent (72%) of Democrats now offer their approval while 80% of Republicans disapprove. Among voters not affiliated with either major party, just 36% approve.

Seventy-seven percent (77%) of liberals approve while 76% of conservatives disapprove. The bad news for the President is that there are a lot more conservatives in the country than liberals. However, he gets a bit of a boost because 57% of moderate voters still offer their approval.

The President earns approval from 37% of White voters and 98% of African-American voters.

    OK, so…

Overall, 44% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance.

Seventy-two percent (72%) of Democrats now offer their approval

Seventy-seven percent (77%) of liberals approve

The President earns approval from 37% of White voters and 98% of African-American voters.

So tell me, who is racist???

Don’t tell me that 98% of “African-American” voters approve of President Obama because they are Democrats or because they are Liberals. Democrats and Liberals only approve of Obama at the rate of 72% and 77%, respectively.

What accounts for that 98% approval from “African-American” voters? If it’s not attributable to just political party and/or political ideology, what’s left?

It’s pretty obvious that that 98% approval is due to “African-American” voters judging Obama by the color of his skin.

So, I ask again, WHO’S RACIST???

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.

-Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

I don’t care about the color of Obama’s skin. I have always disapproved of Obama because of the content of his character.

I agree with Alan Keyes who said that Obama’s support of leaving born alive infants to die shows that Obama’s conscience is seared.

(On repeated occasions, Obama opposed the Born Alive Infant Protection Act in Illinois).

    • It is not the color of a men’s skin that signifies, but the color of his heart. The color of obama’s heart has long since been obliterted by putrefaction.

    • Wow Kathy ! They look alike and match too in this picture…

    • Had to add my 2 cents to the poll. The results so far are:

President Obama gives himself a B+ for his first 11 months in office. What grade would you give him?
      A 7%
      B+ 8%
      B 6%
      C 7%
      D 17%
      F 55%

Yeahhh, looks like there is a major discrepancy in how he grades himself, and how the voters see him. I didn’t see how many voted. 72% Failed him..adding the D’s and F’s together. Certainly looks like a mandate for change to me…a change to get rid of him!

  11. Just heard that the BHO team has threatened to close down all the military bases in Nebraska. Suddenly Nelson has become very quiet. This needs to be investigated.

  12. I cannot believe that they went after Lieberman’s wife who is a Board Member for a Cancer Charit, (tried to get her removed) y and now offerring Nelson money for his state with one hand and threatening his state with the other hand…….unbelievable

    • If people are watching…they are getting prime examples of how vile the left wing Democrats really are! They are showing themselves nationwide now…in one way that is a good thing. I hope it is the example to many of we don’t want to be associated with them! I feel sorry for the wife. It didn’t work when they attacked Joe, so the next best thing, go for the family. Reminds me of how they attacked Sarah and then her family. These Podesta and Kos people live with lots of hate in their hearts. Their repulsive behavior is not one to emulate. Disassociation…moving away from those people…is it in the immediate future? Are the passive democrats understanding who and what they being identified by?

Glad we know their play book to understand them! Alinsky tactics all the way. (Well, we don’t think like they do, but we can recognize the rules of the game.)

      • Gangster thugs. Bottom line.

When will these people grow some and stand up to these gangsters? Are they just going to give in to terrorist blackmail?

Let’s wait to see if the last-legs media even report these stories.

  13. Renee
nelsons aide is now stating that the “rumors are not true”. But I didn’t see them lay out specifically which rumors are not true….
Only that rumors came from ” inside the beltwy”
    No comment from Nelson.
this is really getting to be down and dirty!

    • Part of the blackmail is to deny the blackmail.

He’s showing himself to be quite the wuss.

I wondered last night WHEN somebody with guts will pull a James and Hannah and carry a WIRE into these backroom meetings.

Come on, somebody. Have at least as much guts as a 20-year-old girl and be a patriot, for the sake of our Republic if not for your own career.

    • Aone,

I just read it too and came to post it. I wonder how many aides there are. One to tell the truth and one to lie? I wonder which news the Nebraskans got? The closing or opening news? Blackmail and extortion on the part of the government. Impressive thugs, aren’t they. Do we believe Michelle and Aide #1 or Aide #2?

      Nelson aide: Offutt claim false
      Tues. Dec. 15, 2009
WASHINGTON — As the Senate health care debate enters crunch time, the pressure from all sides continued to grow today, with Sen. Ben Nelson, D-Neb., right in the middle.

His spokesman quickly dismissed a report by conservative columnist Michelle Malkin that Nelson was even being threatened with “closure of an air force base,” presumably Offutt Air Force Base, which is south of Omaha and home of U.S. Strategic Command. Malkin also said Nelson has been promised a “bribe bigger than Sen. Landrieu’s.”

… The legislation includes a provision to increase Louisiana’s Medicaid funds that Landrieu says is worth $300 million.

Nelson spokesman Jake Thompson said both of Malkin’s claims about Nelson are false.

  14. “On one hand the economy is going up………on the other hand the economy is going down……….”

  16. Several observations:

Yesterday was a record high for “Strongly Disapprove”… at 43%.

Today “Strongly Disapprove” jumped another 3%(!) to a new record…46%

Meanwhile the number for “Total Approve” (“Strongly Approve” PLUS “Somewhat Approve”) is only a mere 44%.

So today marks the first time that those who STRONGLY Disapprove of Obama outnumber ALL of those who approve of Obama even a little bit.

Today’s record of “Strongly Disapprove” (46%) exceeds both the historical record for Strongly Approve (45%) and the current “Total Approve” (44%).

Also, a new record Total Disapprove (up 1% to 56%).

Total Approval matches its low, so both the approval gap and the Strong approval gap are at new highs (12% and 21%, respectively)

  17. That’s change we can believe in,
    and change we need.

  18. Everyone is so thrilled with his policies and with him…his numbers are just rising! Up a full 3 negative points! Harvard must grade people differently. At my college, this would be a failing grade. Massachusetts failed the guy too. I wonder who told him he should get a high B? They must all work in the same office. I wonder how he graded students as a lecturer? Why won’t any of those students come forward and let us know? It seems like there would be a couple students that could tell us the truth…well, at least one. Perhaps they were very small, tiny, classes.

  19. Obama Hits Lowest Approval Mark
    February 8, 2010 12:58 PM

Independent voters see Pres. Obama in a negative light by a nearly 2-1 margin, according to a new Marist College survey, while almost half of voters say he has failed to meet their expectations.

The poll, conducted Feb. 1-3, showed just 44% of registered voters approving of Obama’s job as president. 47% disapprove. But among indie voters, Obama’s approval rating sits at a terrible 29%, while his disapproval rating is at 57%.

Obama’s 44% job approval rating is the lowest he has scored in any non-internet poll since moving into the WH, according to a review of data compiled by Pollster.com.
