White Trash?

“White trash Mount Rushmore?” That’s what Paul Begala, former White House Counsel to Bill Clinton, said about a photo of Governor Sarah Palin, Kid Rock, and Ted Nugent, who were posed in front of the official portrait of Hillary Clinton that’s hanging in the White House. Yep. White trash. That’s what he said. Nice.

The Challenge of Multitasking with Two Phones

Apparently it’s a monumental challenge for a particular type of woman to multitask by carrying around two phones. That sort of woman prefers “convenience,” she says. Other women, however, are perfectly capable of handling two phones as well as a newborn babe. (And they’re smart enough to know that you can have more than one email address per smart phone.)

Maybe THAT’S the type of woman we need as our first female president–an honest one, to boot!

The Invasion of the UACs (Unaccompanied Alien Children)

Our Independence Day celebrations were deliberately disrupted and dampened by numerous discouraging stories about the invasion of our country by hordes of “unaccompanied alien children”. These “children”, most of whom consist of young men in their late teens, are illegally entering our country after traversing at least a thousand miles of the deserts of Mexico, a country which seems to be doing nada to stop them. Hundreds of the “unaccompanied” are age two or younger. Imagine them crawling or toddling across the border!

This morning, if you searched Google for news (their news tab), what came up were all stories about Romney and the “47%,” even though the story is days old.  This article is featured, which praises Mother Jones’s “reporter” David Corn for his “scoop”. Here’s all you need to know about him and his scoop [emphasis added]:

Corn, a liberal commentator on MSNBC, got a major assist from a freelance researcher, James Carter IV, who first found the snippet on YouTube. Carter suggested to Corn that there might be more in the full video held by the source. Carter, the grandson of the 39th president, also alerted the Huffington Post that a longer video might exist.

What’s not “news”, according to Google, is Barack Obama’s very revealing tape about redistribution. No! Of course that’s not news.

President Obama’s deputy campaign manager, Stephanie Cutter, ripped the Republican presidential candidate for raising an issue about Malia Obama’s recent school trip. She blasted Mr Santorum for targeting the child on the campaign trail. [He targeted the parents!]
