In a recent issue of Imprimis, Professor John Marini of the University of Nevada, Reno, wrote about filmmaker Frank Capra and “his” America. Marini’s article provides us with some pertinent words of wisdom:
. . . when they [U.S. citizens of 1858] look through the old Declaration of Independence they find that those old men [our Founding Fathers] say that “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal,” and then they feel that that moral sentiment taught in that day evidences their relation to those men, that it is the father of all moral principles in them, and that they have a right to claim it as though they were blood of the blood, and flesh of the flesh of the men who wrote that Declaration, and so they are. That is the electric cord in that Declaration that links the hearts of patriotic and liberty-loving men together, that will link those patriotic hearts as long as the love of freedom exists in the minds of men throughout the world. President Barack Hussein Obama II recently visited Germany again, and spoke at the Brandenburg Gate, following (he hoped) in the footsteps of Presidents John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan, and the Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr.
Mayor Klaus Wowereit was in attendance. (Wow! I like that name.) He’s on the far right, above, next to Chancellor Angela “Hard G” Merkel.

An article by John Ellis, “Birther Issue Goes Mainstream” reveals that “journalists” today must include the word birther in their copy to generate internet hits to their articles. They are walking a tightrope in how they use the term because they don’t want to alienate their JournOlistic comrades,
all of whom in New York-Washington media circles are resolute in their belief that “birthers” are insane!

John P. Wheeler III Murder Conspiracy
Posted by Newssleuth,
I couldn’t resist posting this story by Sorcha Faal, who always writes intriguing and fanciful conspiracy news stories that are full of speculation and have no viable sources.
A shocking report prepared for Prime Minister Putin by the Foreign Military Intelligence Directorate (GRU) states that one of the United States top experts in biological and chemical weapons was brutally murdered after he threatened to expose a US Military test of poison gas that killed hundreds of thousands of animals in Arkansas this past week.
According to this report, John P. Wheeler III, Special Assistant to the Secretary of the Air Force, Washington, D.C. from 2005-2008, when he became the Special Assistant to the Acting Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Installations, Logistics and Environment, was found brutally murdered and dumped in a landfill.

In a post on Obamacare, Ed Morrissey says:
… Obama wants them to trust him? … Take Reagan’s advice. Trust — but verify.
Ed should take his own advice.
