I don’t know about you, but I’m sick and tired of the two-tiered justice system in this country. Why is it that Democrats like Chuck Schumer are allowed to apologize and present specious excuses for their potential crimes and then get out of jail free, while Republicans like President Donald J. Trump are held to the letter (and imaginary spirit) of laws and the Constitution?

This weekend we were treated to a puff piece by PARADE that told us all about how hard Mr. and Mrs. Barack Obama “struggled” when they worked menial minimum-wage jobs while growing up and pinched pennies to support themselves and their two young children after they both graduated from law school. It’s almost as if the authors (Lynn Sherr and Maggie Murphy) did no fact checking but accepted the Obama narrative as presented to them.

Last week, the Republicans blocked the nomination of Patricia Millett to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia because Obama is trying to pack the court that has the most to say about his policies and the tactics used by his administration to do end runs around the law and the Constitution.
As a result, Harry Reid (who voted against Millett) is once again threatening the nuclear option, which, of course, if ever invoked will come back to bite the Democrats big time, if and when Republicans ever control the Senate again. [emphasis added to quotes]

I recently came across an online copy of the Harvard Law Revue, a parody published in April 1990, dating to when Barack Obama was president of the Harvard Law Review. Images of the pages are provided at the link (until scrubbed). On the back page of the publication, there’s a photo of Obama that was very briefly on the Internet, during the campaign of 2008. (It’s the photo where he has that unusually wide nose.) Continue reading
