Yesterday, President Donald J. Trump finally had a private meeting with the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and the Democrats, the radical left, the anti-Trump RINOs and GOPe, and (most especially) Obama’s “intelligence community” lost their collective minds, accusing the president of “high crimes and misdemeanors” as well as treason–all for exercising one of the most basic and important Constitutional charges given to the president by We the People, who elected him!

Recently Russian President Vladimir Putin opined about the ongoing saga of former FBI Director James Comey’s mendacity: [emphasis added]

“It looks weird when the chief of a security agency records his conversation with the commander-in-chief and then hands it over to media via his friend,” Putin was quoted by Russia’s Tass. “This is strange. What is the difference then between the FBI director and Mr. Snowden? He is not a head of the special services, but a human rights activist.” …

“I am not familiar in detail with the testimony given by former FBI director Comey,” Putin said during a question and answer session with citizens. “Again, he gave no evidence of this (Russian meddling).”

to have an informal, private, off the record get together with a few of us to discuss the next year and the current state of US-China affairs. Today the electoral college electors meet in their various states to vote for the next president of the United States. Electors, as you know, are under unprecedented and coordinated pressure from the political left, who are begging them and even threatening them, in an attempt to get them to ignore their sworn oaths and, in some  instances, state laws.

Attacking the Messenger; Ignoring the Message

The mainstream media, the Democrat Party, the erstwhile losing Clinton campaign, and progressives everywhere are still hyperventilating about the Russians allegedly interfering in the 2016 election. There’s no proof, of course, and this is not an opinion shared by all of our intelligence agencies. The FBI, for instance, does not agree on Russia’s alleged motive, even if Russia were behind the hacks of the DNC and John Podesta’s email. As might be expected after all this brouhaha, the CIA apparently now denies the entire scenario.

Madre Dearest

How fitting that Hillary Clinton’s campaign minions, people at the Clinton Foundation, and possibly even CNN reporters refer to Hillary as Madre. After all, the woman wants to run everybody’s life, as if every other human being on the planet is too stupid, “deplorable,” or “irredeemable” to be trusted with any decision, no matter how minuscule.  She wants to be our mother, you see, but forever–she never wants us to grow up. We’ll be in her nest for all time. Hillary, the mother from Hell.

Of course, the Progressive  Left “never lets a crisis go to waste” and they are following Alinsky’s rules to the letter.   Instead of sympathy and empathy for the victims in Tucson, they immediately accused the Right of being involved only a few minutes after the massacre  was announced.    The Left blogs,  announcers, and politicians were  so quick to respond, it is as if they had prior knowledge  of the  tragedy.     To cover for themselves, the  nasty accusations began.  They were getting facts wrong, and quickly announced that Rep. Gabby Giffords was dead.   She wasn’t.   But it appears they expected her to be.

George Soros funds the Center for American Progress, which has been characterized as Barack Obama’s Ideas Factory.  John Podesta, its head, led the transition team when Barack Obama became President. The Center has also become a hiring hall for the Obama team, filling its positions with former employees (among these was controversial Van Jones — who now is back at the Center).
