All Eyes on Brennan

President Trump has rightly pulled the top secret security clearance of the former CIA director under Barack Obama, John Brennan. Mainstream media and progressives seem to have settled upon the notion that President Trump pulled Brennan’s clearance, and may do the same for other former members of Obama’s administration, out of revenge, spite, to violate their free speech rights and/or, especially, to keep them from cashing in on the benefits of having security clearance.

Mueller’s Questions

So now the most ethical, professional, and honest lawyer in Washington DC has allowed another leak from his “team” of persecutors prosecutors.

[An update in the interest of fairness: A NY Times story reads, “The special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, recently provided President Trump’s lawyers a list of questions he wants answered in an interview. The New York Times obtained the list …”. That story makes it seem as if the list came from Mueller. Now, however, erupts a dispute over where the NY Times got a list of the questions. Some stories say the list was or may have been compiled by Trump’s lawyers or even “the White House,” although it’s reported that the list did not come from Trump’s “legal team.”]

Stormy’s Lawyer and Hillary’s Mouth

Several interesting items appeared in the news, recently. One national, the other local, but touching upon a national story.

The first item comes from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The story provides local interest attached to the saga of Stormy Daniels, the woman who allegedly had an “intimate relationship” with now-President Donald J. Trump over a decade ago. Her lawyer was the subject of a recent lifestyles column.

Busy Bees in the Deep State Swamp

Peter Strzok. Now there’s a name that may live in infamy, at least in the minds of some citizens of these United States. History will tell.

This week brought enlightenment to the masses of We the People. Peter Strzok–the FBI counterintelligence agent who was removed this past summer from the Robert Mueller investigation into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election–got reassigned, demoted, fired (take your pick) because he allegedly sent anti-Trump and pro-Clinton messages to his lover, who was also working on the Mueller team, at one point. A lawyer with whom Strzok was allegedly having an extramarital affair, Strzok’s lover was also moved or reassigned when their messages came to light.

DOJ May Charge the Russian Hackers?

A story in the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) claims that Department of Justice (DOJ) prosecutors may charge actual Russians for the “hack” of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) that occurred in early 2016. [emphasis added to quotes]

The Justice Department has identified more than six members of the Russian government involved in hacking the Democratic National Committee’s computers and swiping sensitive information that became public during the 2016 presidential election, according to people familiar with the investigation.

Is the Bulgarian government now justified to send drones to attack U.S. citizens (and non-citizens) in Michigan?  Thank goodness we won’t find out, because they don’t have drones. Yet. Continue reading
