IRS Was Supposed to Archive Instant Messages

We learned recently that some more very convenient computer crashes happened at the IRS, among cronies of Lois Lerner. The number is now less than 20, but counting. Seriously? What are the odds?

One might ask, as Obama did with regard to the investigation (or lack thereof) into the Ukraine plane crash, and without any apparent sense of irony:

IRSgate: Shuffling Off to Shame

There they are!  Our employees, doing the Cupid Shuffle.  The IRS reportedly spent $50 MILLION on 220 conferences between 2010 and 2012:  That’s a couple of conferences per week, averaging several thousand dollars per conference.  This, in a time of austerity, when critical employees like air traffic controllers are being furloughed to save money.  What hubris!  What waste!

Barack ObamaThe outrage at the IRS continues.  By now, nearly everyone knows that Tea Party, 9/12, “patriot”, and other conservative groups, including religious groups, were specifically targeted by the IRS, after Obama and his party were “shellacked” (by the Tea Party) in the 2010 election and after the Supreme Court issued the Citizens United decision, affirming that such groups have free speech rights under the U.S. Constitution.  Continue reading
