We’re all by now too familiar with the wonderful speech that Barry gave at the Tucson 2012 Campaign Rally Memorial Service at a stadium at the University of Arizona, complete with the Jumbotron flashing “applause signs“, bizarre “memorial t-shirts” sporting a campaign motto, “Together We Thrive”, which was previously on an Obama website, circa 2008, and also on “anti-racism” t-shirts for sale at this site,

As over-leveraged investment houses began to fail in September 2008, the
leaders of the Republican and Democratic parties, of major corporations and
opinion leaders stretching from the National Review magazine (and the Wall
Street Journal) on the right to the Nation magazine on the left, agreed that
spending some $700 billion to buy the investors’ “toxic assets” was the only
alternative to the U.S. economy’s “systemic collapse.”

In this, President George W. Bush and his would-be Republican successor John McCain agreed with the Democratic candidate, Barack Obama. Many, if not most, people around them also agreed upon the eventual commitment of some 10 trillion nonexistent dollars in ways unprecedented in America. They explained neither the difference between the assets’ nominal and real values, nor precisely why letting the market find the latter would collapse America. The public objected immediately, by margins of three or four to one.

On Sunday, I opened the newspaper and came across a full-page ad sponsored by AARP, in favor of “financial reform.”  The ad claimed, “It’s time to stop the fat cats from putting your money at risk.”  The ad urged readers, “Tell your senators to pass financial reform now.”

So, let’s get this straight.  First AARP was on board with ObamaCare.  Now, they’re on board with “financial reform,” whatever that is, because just as with ObamaCare, nobody knows what’s in the bill.  Whatever.  AARP is for it.  Yeah!  You go, Obama.  Whatever you say, Dear Leader.

It occurred to me, while watching Glenn Beck’s expose on Marxism and the Nazis, that at least Hitler didn’t make those he murdered pay for the gas and the gas chambers. Think about it:  They’ll force us all to pay for long-term care “insurance”, but who will own and control the facilities where we will be cared for? (But not long term. Insurance, it’s not, unless that means that you will assuredly die there, in “long term care.” They must lie awake at night thinking up this Orwellian language and then laughing at us when they use it to hide what they’re really up to.)

Beware the Ides of March Marxist Madness

Julius Caesar was assassinated on March 15th in 44 BC.   The premonition of danger for him was stated as “Beware the Ides of  March.”   The Ides of March refers to March 15th and has been acknowledged every year.

Now in March, 2010 AD we are watching the assassination of our Constitution, our laws, and our country by the Anti-Americans who profess to know what is best for us because of their Leftist Marxist/Communist/Progressive ideology or whatever it is they are calling it and themselves now.

the State of the Labor Union Address

Last night Obama gave his first State of the Union Address. He spoke about how he wants to make these hard times easier for the American people. He went on and on about how he was making things better. But I wonder, how many of Obama’s plans directly benefit the labor unions that so heavily supported him in his run for president?

Bows to labor unions. In saluting the resilience of the American people, Obama specifically mentioned people “building cars and teaching kids”—both heavily unionized occupations. And his administration has been pouring money into them, through the General Motors and Chrysler bailouts and through the one-third of the 2009 stimulus package that went to state and local governments. Obama not only pays off his political debts, he gives his paymasters some psychic reward as well.
