Spy vs. Spy

As suspected, there were spies among the peaceful protesters at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Comes now a report indicating that the DC Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), not to be confused with the Capitol Police, activated a hitherto unheard of unit to surveil, perhaps illegally, those who protested the stolen election.

Basement Administration

A curious article in the news alleged that the current set up at the White House may not work for a potential Biden administration.

First, consider the response of former president Barack Obama, when asked if he would like a third term.

As the Tables Turn: Lynch Goes Under the Microscope

Several recent developments will be interesting to follow in the mainstream media. It’s their turn to squirm now. An article in the New York Post says that a special counsel may “probe Team Obama’s obstruction of justice.”

Whether or not an investigator is appointed, Congress itself intends to investigate former Attorney General Loretta Lynch and her potential obstruction of justice and politicization of the criminal investigation into Hillary Clinton’s illegal email server.

The brewmeister  of Hillary Clinton’s “home brew server” is fixin’ to take the Fifth (Amendment, not fifth of whiskey, although a little shot might serve his nerves well right about now).

CIA’s John O. Brennan Apologizes for Spying on Our Watchdogs

John_Brennan_CIA_official_portrait - Copy

An apology? Seriously? I wonder how Scooter Libby feels about this:

The director of the Central Intelligence Agency, John Brennan, issued an extraordinary apology to leaders of the US Senate intelligence committee on Thursday, conceding that the agency employees spied on committee staff and reversing months of furious and public denials. [emphasis added to quotes]

Projection and Unconscious Confession

Amun - Copy

There’s an interesting series of articles by Andrew G. Hodges, M.D., who is a forensic profiler. Hodges

works with words and analyzes the “see-all, tell-all unconscious mind” of people. He calls it the “super intelligence” and through psycholinguistics observes “how a person’s words reveal deeper unconscious messages.” …

IRS Was Supposed to Archive Instant Messages

We learned recently that some more very convenient computer crashes happened at the IRS, among cronies of Lois Lerner. The number is now less than 20, but counting. Seriously? What are the odds?

One might ask, as Obama did with regard to the investigation (or lack thereof) into the Ukraine plane crash, and without any apparent sense of irony:

What exactly are they trying to hide?

BSoBS: An IRS Blue Screen of BS

BSoD - CopyA Blue Screen of Death (or Doom; aka BSoD) or, in the case of the IRS, a Blue Screen of BS (BSoBS).

The IRS and Lois Lerner blame “dated technology” for the computer crash that they unbelievably, even laughably, claim was responsible for the loss of Lerner’s email from 2009 through the middle of 2011, the crucial period of time during which any conspiracy to target Tea Party groups would have been hatched and carried out. Targeting began in 2010. [emphasis added to quotes]

“Frankly, these are the critical years of the targeting of conservative groups that could explain who knew what when, and what, if any, coordination there was between agencies,” said Ways and Means Chairman Dave Camp (R-Mich.) in a statement. “Instead, because of this loss of documents, we are conveniently left to believe that Lois Lerner acted alone.”

Obama Mystery Theater: Stanley Ann’s Passport Renewal of 1968 (Part Three)

SADSpassport1 - CopyClick to enlarge; then click again to enlarge further.

This is the third article in a series that looks at some passport records related to Stanley Ann Dunham Obama Soetoro (Ann), with special emphasis on an application she made to renew her passport in August 1968. In part two, we determined that it’s likely that Ann did have a passport that predated the passport she was renewing. Since her then-current passport was issued in July 1965, if she had a preexisting passport, then that passport may have been issued in July 1960, right after Ann allegedly graduated from high school and around the time that her family moved to Hawaii.  It’s also possible, however, that the earlier passport had been issued in July 1962, provided that she didn’t extend the expiration date for another two years.

Most Ethical and Transparent Administration Ever? (Open Thread)

Doesn’t that look absolutely yummy?  That might explain why Obama administration officials prefer to meet lobbyists over steaming cups of cafe latte in a coffee shop across the street from the White House.

But probably not.  More likely, they meet there, outside the White House,  so that lobbyists, union officials, and other cronies won’t be registered in the open-to-the-public White House Visitor logs.  To make matters worse, it appears that this “most transparent” and most “ethical” administration in history has officials who persist in using private email addresses to carry on public business, in what may be an attempt to avoid provisions of the Presidential Records Act.
