Of the Godmother, Connected Guys, & Made Guys

godmother - Copy

In the movie Donnie Brasco, Mafia hit-man Lefty explains mob lingo to Donnie:

Okay, when I introduce you, I’m gonna say, “This is a friend of mine.” That means you’re a connected guy. Now if I sez that “this is a friend of ours,” that would mean you’re a made guy. Capisci?

Media Bias, Global Elites, and the Rise of Donald Trump

trump - Copy

So this morning I read the earth-shaking “news” that Donald Trump “now” says he was being “sarcastic” when he said that Obama founded ISIS. (Something he’s said many times before, going as far back as January 2016, but suddenly, when Hillary Clinton needs a distraction, Trump’s statement is a newly debuted “attack-line.”)

In an obviously coordinated, Journolist-type meme that’s everywhere, literally (in the true sense of the word) everywhere, the media claim that Trump is reversing himself, blaming others (the media) and walking back the misstep he made when he said falsely that Obama founded ISIS.

Clinton’s New Catchphrase

U.S. Senator Hillary Clinton gestures from the stage at the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver

Hillary Clinton, trying to sound clever, rolled out a new catchphrase yesterday:

Don’t let a friend vote Trump.

With this phrase, she inadvertently exposed all that’s wrong with the progressive mind.

Comey Predicts a Muslim “Terrorist Diaspora” into the USA!

Late last year, in response to the increasing number of Muslim jihadist terror attacks across the world and the millions of “Syrian refugees” flooding into and overwhelming Europe, Presidential Candidate Donald Trump suggested that the U.S. stop Muslims from entering our country until there’s a sufficient method to screen terrorists from welcome, legal immigrants, or innocent tourists and students.

Elizabeth Warren and “Rich Guys Like” Herself

dnc-walls - Copy

Elizabeth Warren (aka Fauxcahontas) gave the keynote speech on the first night of the Democrat National Convention in Philadelphia. She spoke from behind the safety of a wall that you can see at the top of this post. The wall was hastily constructed after the minions got rowdy and rudely booed erstwhile DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz off the stage and out of the convention entirely, and after said minions also (threateningly?) chanted “lock her up” whenever Hillary Clinton’s name was mentioned.

A reminder: Hillary is supposed to be the DNC’s annointed one. Dare I say it?

The natives were restless, my friends.

A Day for Videos

Today seems to be a day to present select videos rather than to bloviate.  Pat Smith, still waiting for answers from Hillary Clinton and still thankfully being a thorn in that mendacious woman’s side:

And They Wonder Why So Many Americans Support Trump.

The above photo, published in rare newspapers and hard to find on the Web now, says it all. This is an AP photo of (probably paid) anti-Trump agitators in Eugene, Oregon, a few days ago.

America First! Right On, Mr. Trump.

Donald_Trump_Marines_April_2015 - CopyRecently Donald Trump sat for an interview with reporters from the New York Times. The entire interview is well worth reading, for those who are not yet familiar with Trump’s foreign policy positions. It’s recommended that you read the transcript rather than the interpretation of “journalists”.

What’s especially notable is Trump’s insistence  upon putting THIS COUNTRY first. It’s about time that we had a candidate for the presidency who loves his country above all others and wants what’s best for the United States before considering what’s good for other nations.

America first!

A Case That Makes Trump’s Case For Him

Georgia Army National Guard eyes in the sky over Texas' Rio Grande Valley sector

There was a manhunt going on in rural Missouri yesterday. Schools were locked down. Residents were advised to stay inside, doors locked, until the alledged fugitive “spree killer” was captured. He was captured, finally, hiding in a ditch along Interstate 70.
