A Blue Screen of Death (or Doom; aka BSoD) or, in the case of the IRS, a Blue Screen of BS (BSoBS).

The IRS and Lois Lerner blame “dated technology” for the computer crash that they unbelievably, even laughably, claim was responsible for the loss of Lerner’s email from 2009 through the middle of 2011, the crucial period of time during which any conspiracy to target Tea Party groups would have been hatched and carried out. Targeting began in 2010. [emphasis added to quotes]

“Frankly, these are the critical years of the targeting of conservative groups that could explain who knew what when, and what, if any, coordination there was between agencies,” said Ways and Means Chairman Dave Camp (R-Mich.) in a statement. “Instead, because of this loss of documents, we are conveniently left to believe that Lois Lerner acted alone.”

The IRS Is Not Off the Hook

Acting IRS commissioner Danny Werfel, whose surname, quite appropriately, means “whirl” in German (my first thought was that it meant weasel) has engaged in an awful lot of whirling for the Obama administration recently.  As much as Werfel and white–African-American-who-identifies-as-black Barack Obama would like the IRS scandal to disappear, it’s not going anywhere, thanks to our representatives in Congress.

IRSgate: Shuffling Off to Shame

There they are!  Our employees, doing the Cupid Shuffle.  The IRS reportedly spent $50 MILLION on 220 conferences between 2010 and 2012:  That’s a couple of conferences per week, averaging several thousand dollars per conference.  This, in a time of austerity, when critical employees like air traffic controllers are being furloughed to save money.  What hubris!  What waste!

Former SEIU Official Reveals Secret Plan To Destroy JP Morgan, Crash The Stock Market, And Redistribute Wealth In America

A former official of one of the country’s most-powerful unions, SEIU, is detailing a secret plan to “destabilize” the country.

Specifically, the plan seeks to destroy JP Morgan, nuke the stock market, and weaken Wall Street’s grip on power, thus creating the conditions necessary for a redistribution of wealth and a change in government.

The former SEIU official, Steven Lerner, spoke in a closed session at a Pace University forum last weekend.

The Blaze procured what appears to be a tape of Lerner’s remarks. Many Americans will undoubtely sympathize with and support them. Still, the “destabilization” plan is startling in its specificity, especially coming so close on the heels of the financial crisis.

“GOP Lawmakers Hit ACORN With New Report Alleging Misconduct. The Republicans’ latest report contains documents that they say confirms previous findings that ACORN is responsible for thousands of fraudulent voter registrations across the country and has used taxpayer money to support a partisan political agenda.”  FOXNews.com

A second report issued by Representative Darrell Issa (R-CA) and his fellow Republicans on the US House Oversight Committee further accuses ACORN, a non-profit organization, and its partner SEIU of multiple crimes. Among them are voter-registration fraud, using taxpayers’ money for political purposes, and violating election laws by having an unlawful partnership between a major labor union and ACORN and its many affiliates. The report says ACORN operates as a “Criminal Conspiracy” in conjunction with SEIU. Not only do they share the same the same office space in many cases, they also co-mingle monies that transfer from one arm to another. According to an audit, one organization, American Institute for Social Justice transfers federal funds to ACORN’s national organization for political purposes. The report also states that the Department of Justice (Eric Holder, Attorney General) and the FBI should be investigated for not delving into this issue of corruption and criminal activity. This is a 68 page report and the following are some of the salient points.
