As the year began  in  2010,  Ms.  Tutu Farcical of the Oracle wrote an article that we thought should be revisited.  We thought it would be interesting to see if any of the questions plaguing us at the time from 2008 – 2009  were answered during the last two years.   Not only have  most of them not been addressed, but we could easily add more questions that have arisen since her initial publication.

To Burqa or Not to Burqa ? That is the Question…

I read a good article today, and it got me thinking about the subject of the burqa here in free America. I have met a lot of people from a wide range of places through the years, so I started to think about their views of this.

The people I know personally from the Mid-East and Asia came to this country for more personal freedom for themselves and their children. A better life. Covering their heads was one of the main reasons they wanted to leave their homelands, believe it or not. While these women would agree to cover in airspace when traveling, and in countries where they are required to do so, they were most happy to return to their FREE, uncovered head and body status they loved here in America, Europe and other places where it is not required.
