Comedian Dave Chappelle is not only funny but he’s also got particular insight into the female psyche. At least this female’s psyche.

I’ve been saying for a long time that much of the transgender “movement” is offensive to women but that nobody seems to care when this particular historically oppressed group (women) are offended.

A potpourri of items from the web and in the news, with some (let’s hope) pertinent comments upon them:

First up, Chicago Mayor Lightfoot spends long minutes quibbling with a reporter because he called violence in her city last summer “race riots.” After excoriating him for his opinion that these were race riots, she then admonished him for criticizing her own opinion, false though it may be, that 99.9% of criticism thrown her way is only because she’s black, female, (and lesbian). So reporters don’t have a “right” to critique her opinions but she seems to believe that she has a right to critique theirs. Different strokes!

Tale of Two Comedians

Do you remember Wanda Sykes, the alleged comedian, who during a performance in 2016 called then-President-elect Trump “racist, sexist” and “homophobic?” When audience members booed her “jokes” about the future President, she attacked them saying,

Progressive Illogic

Items in the news recently accentuate the lack of logic that’s typical of progressive “thought.” For example, progressives deny the scientific, biological reality of two human sexes, male and female, as determined unequivocally by DNA.

Offensive Appropriation

Been thinking lately about Halloween, self-identification, and cultural appropriation. Along with Megyn Kelly, I’ve been trying to understand “cultural appropriation” and, more specifically, “identity appropriation” as “explained” to us by progressives who apparently now believe that some people (but only some) should be able to choose their age, race, sex, “gender”, and even species, forcing the rest of us to acknowledge their new reality.

Astroturfed Mob Mentality

While the progressive left blames President Trump for the actions of one unhinged man who shot newspaper employees because of a personal vendetta, members of the progressive left, apparently following the advice of Rep. Maxine Waters, are attacking young female reporters.

Inquisition Era: Is It Safe for Conservatives to Dine Out?

Two similar incidents have inspired a question: Is it even safe for conservatives to patronize restaurants (especially with their families)? What is going on in the USA, when we have Trump supporters being publicly “shamed” in restaurants?

Warning to all Trump supporters: Do not be openly conservative or you shall be attacked, shamed, and driven from the public sphere. What’s next? An Inquisition? Burnings at the stake? A High Sparrow to community organize the Faith Militant so they can throw all conservatives into a dungeon until they “confess” and “atone?”

Stormy’s Lawyer and Hillary’s Mouth

Several interesting items appeared in the news, recently. One national, the other local, but touching upon a national story.

The first item comes from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The story provides local interest attached to the saga of Stormy Daniels, the woman who allegedly had an “intimate relationship” with now-President Donald J. Trump over a decade ago. Daniels entered into a “hush agreement” that she wants to go back on, now offering to return the $130,000 she took to keep quiet (among other things). She’s suing to have the agreement declared void. Her lawyer was the subject of a recent lifestyles column.

Playing the Sex Card

We’ve become accustomed to the left playing the race card. Now we’re seeing the left play the sex card in their never-ending quest for power, obtained by any means necessary. They’re sacrificing their own (Franken, Conyers) with the hope of appeasing those demons that they worship: money, power, control. If the scheme works, they get back the reins of government so they can continue the fundamental transformation of America, to the ruin of all.

Hillary is Simply Unbelievable

Hillary Clinton has made some amazingly hypocritical and clueless comments lately. Even for the typically far-from-self-aware Clinton, she’s outdone herself in exhibiting her hypocrisy and, especially, her myopia.
