In light of the events in Benghazi and the spotlight now shining upon UN Ambassador Susan Rice, it behooves us to take a closer look at this woman, who apparently has been groomed for decades for positions of power in Washington DC.

You didn’t think that we’d let the news about Obamacare crowd out the fact that Attorney General Eric Holder was found in contempt of Congress, did you? Continue reading

In 1979 The U.S. Embassy in Tehran, Iran was siezed by radical students that held 52 Americans hostage for 440 days.
Today, in Iran, radical students attacked the U.K. Embassy. They captured 6 diplomats for 6 hours until the diplomats were rescued by police. London gave the Iranian diplomats there 48 hours to leave the country.
Not a good situation. We will follow it in comments.

It looks like all plans to run for President of France have been dashed for Dominique Strauss-Kahn who is now head of the International Monetary Fund. He has been arrested amid charges of a sexual assault of a hotel maid in his room. Mr Strauss-Kahn was removed from an airplane he had quickly boarded after the incident. He had fled his hotel room without his cell phone as well as personal belongings. Do honest men run from a crime scene? Is this story correct?
This is not the first unflattering incident for Dominique. It seems unbelievable that a man in a highly visible position would throw it all away for a forceful sexual encounter.

Good riddance Speaker Pelosi!
There are lots of reasons I will not miss Nancy Pelosi’s extreme left wing speakership. There’s Air Pelosi
and radical legislation such Cap and Tax
. But the biggest reason to cheer the end of the ultra-Liberal/Progressive Pelosi Speakership is the national debt.
In the four years that Pelosi was Speaker the national debt increased an unbelievable 60%.

Above is a composite of photos purportedly of the POTUS (with one exception). These are photos taken at various stages of his life, in various settings.
If you click on the composite, you’ll see a larger composite image. If you want to see the photos larger still, change the zoom level on your computer display from 100% to 200%, or more; however, the photos will lose resolution as they become larger. You will have to enlarge to see the numbers I assigned to each photo. Continue reading

A life of public service is its own reward, besides, there are a precious few that can pull off wearing ermine in August. Instead of grumbling about the first family being out of touch, let’s try to vicariously enjoy the high life that the Fun-in-the-Sun King and Michelle Antoinette are so selflessly living on our behalf.
The government… can never be in danger of degenerating into a monarchy, and oligarchy, an aristocracy, or any other despotic or oppressive form so long as there shall remain any virtue in the body of the people. – George Washington
