Independence Day Weekend 2020

Now is the time for us to declare independence once again. To resist tyranny once again. This is the day we must rededicate ourselves to that for which this nation has stood for over 200 years.

Loyalty and Allegiance

Featured today on the front page of a notoriously progressive but so-called unbiased website is this story, suggesting that Rep. Ilhan Omar is somehow more American than our beautiful and gracious First Lady, Melania Trump, because Omar (not her real name, some say) was naturalized (perhaps illegally) six years before the FLOTUS.

Besides the complicated hierarchy of victimhood brought to us by the left’s concept of intersectionality, progressives have now created a hierarchy of citizenship legitimacy, based upon years as a U.S. citizen–or maybe this is just an example of their anti-white or anti-Slovenian racism.

Hypocrite Pelosi

In response to a tweet by President Trump, which rightly and pointedly criticized Representative Ilhan Omar’s flip characterization of the worst terrorist attack in American history, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said,

The memory of 9/11 is sacred ground, and any discussion of it must be done with reverence.

The First Birther and Other Prevaricating Democrats

Just this past week, former president Barack Obama made reference, yet again, to the “wild conspiracy theory” that he doesn’t have a valid birth certificate. In fact, Obama lumped the issue of his birth certificate (credibly alleged to be forged) together with what he calls another “wild conspiracy theory” — the one “surrounding Benghazi,” as if facts about what really happened in Benghazi are not true.

Connections of a Saudi Prince

The Saudis are in the midst of political turmoil. An anti-corruption purge took place this past weekend, resulting in many arrests: [emphasis added to quotes]

Saudi Arabia‘s newly formed anti-corruption committee has arrested at least 17 princes and top officials, according to a list obtained by CNN and cited by a senior royal court official.

The list includes Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, the billionaire businessman who owns 95% of Kingdom Holding, which holds stakes in global companies such as Citigroup, Twitter, Apple and News Corp.

There’s a break in the Awan Scandal. What’s that you say? You never heard of the Awan Scandal? That’s no surprise, because it involves Democrats, whom the media bend themselves into pretzels to avoid exposing to due scrutiny.

Imran Awan was arrested at Dulles airport by the FBI, going on the lam, exiting the country, stage left (or right, depending upon his ultimate destination, which was probably his native Pakistan).

Extreme Parsing

The mainstream media is on a tear, ever since President Donald J. Trump’s inauguration.

Day after day they publish slanted negative story after slanted negative story about President Trump, alienating the over 60 million Americans who voted for him and probably others, too. Their dishonesty is unrelenting and never ending, to the point that some admit that there is actually a campaign of organized psychological warfare, intended to destabilize the President, to  get “under his skin,” and perhaps even to prompt him to quit or to have him removed from office because of alleged mental illness.

Obama’s Spokesperson Says President Trump Opposes Religious Discrimination

Senator Barack Hussein Obama, erstwhile president of the USA, has apparently instructed his spokesperson to defend President Donald J. Trump’s executive order that puts a hold on entry into the USA of people from 7 countries on an Obama-era terror watch list and that also halts admission of Syrian refugees into the USA for a few months. Obama himself issued such a hold in 2011 on refugees from Iran and, more recently, removed protection from refugees from Cuba. At the time, nobody accused Obama of religious, cultural, or ethnic discrimination.
