Just this past week, former president Barack Obama made reference, yet again, to the “wild conspiracy theory” that he doesn’t have a valid birth certificate. In fact, Obama lumped the issue of his birth certificate (credibly alleged to be forged) together with what he calls another “wild conspiracy theory” — the one “surrounding Benghazi,” as if facts about what really happened in Benghazi are not true.

Rice Baloney

Susan Rice wasn’t politicizing the intelligence apparatus. Moreover, she  says that she

leaked nothing to nobody.

Home Brewed Witch’s Brew

The brewmeister  of Hillary Clinton’s “home brew server” is fixin’ to take the Fifth (Amendment, not fifth of whiskey, although a little shot might serve his nerves well right about now).

Do you notice how the stories and the outrages are coming fast and furious?  Well, that’s the plan, isn’t it?  To overwhelm us and wear us all down. In the ensuing confusion, many stories go unnoticed and unremarked upon. We can’t have that! So let’s look at some other stories that have been in the news lately.

Kareem Rises to the Top

Who knew that Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is so much more than a great athlete? He’s also a deep-thinking philosopher, a great writer, and an all around gutsy guy when it comes to speaking his mind fearlessly–the latter becoming increasingly rare in the age of political correctness, not to mention Obama’s NSA.

Abdul-Jabbar weighed in on the circus surrounding L.A. Clippers owner Donald Sterling.  Let’s turn the floor over to Kareem.

Dan Pfeiffer’s Word of the Day: “Irrelevant” (Open Thread)

The word of the day is irrelevant.   What’s relevant is that irrelevant is a word that Dan Pfeiffer, an Obama spokesperson and aide, used at least three times when speaking about Obama’s recent hat trick of scandals.  Like Susan Rice after Benghazi, Pfeiffer appeared on five Sunday shows this week, in an apparent attempt to spin, spin, spin away the blowback  from the scandals.
