This weekend, we remember those who gave their last full measure of devotion so that we might remain free and continue to enjoy the blessings of the greatest Republic the world has ever known:
Memorial Day, which is observed on the last Monday of May, commemorates the men and women who died while in the military service. In observance of the holiday, many people visit cemeteries and memorials, and volunteers often place American flags on each grave site at national cemeteries. A national moment of remembrance takes place at 3:00 p.m. local time.
Memorial Day was intended to be a day of prayer, so let us pray for the repose of the souls of all our brave patriots who gave their lives in the line of duty.
Never forget their sacrifices.

Yeah, right. It’s their rights under attack, not the rights of natural born FEMALES. Someone pointed out that the DemoncRATS want to raise the age limit for buying guns to 21, but at the same time NOT raise the age for being drafted, for being able to vote, or for being considered an adult who can make one’s own decisions about things like health care. At the same time, Illinois has REMOVED the parental notification laws with regard to minors having an abortion, including the requirement that in lieu of parental permission, a JUDGE makes a decision. So minors are wholly capable of deciding to have an abortion, but not capable of buying a gun. Similarly, little children can “decide” they’re the opposite sex and have surgery to remove perfectly normal body organs. How long will it be until the politically correct politicians decide that parental notification or oversight by a judge is no longer necessary for sex change surgery?
