Democrats Reveal Their True Colors

The past week has provided Democrats many opportunities to display their true colors. No surprise! We the People have not misunderestimated their mendacity.

Despite Hillary Clinton’s promise of a new era of “civility” when Democrats regain power in Congress, some Democrats didn’t get the message. Speaking about President Donald Trump, newly ensconced Representative Rashida Tlaib famously vowed

we are gonna go in there and we’re gonna impeach the motherf**ker.

So much for civility. Mind you, the woman claimed that she said this to her own child. Is this the kind of language she ordinarily models for her children? She also said that this is how her deceased grandmother would have said it!

One supposes the woman has a right to raise her children however she pleases, but what sort of role model is this U.S. representative for the rest of America’s children?

Imagine the outcry, not only here but around the world, had a Republican representative called former president Barack Obama such a  profane (not to mention misogynistic) obscenity.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has no intention of reining in the new “generation” of her caucus. (But you can bet your booty that she’d have expected former Speaker Paul Ryan to severely chastise any Republican representative who had used a similar word to describe Obama.)

No worries for San Fran Nan, though. Pelosi sees and hears no evil, at least in this instance. She does, however, speak plenty of evil, especially about President Trump and his supporters.

Speaker Pelosi and other Democrats want to see, hear, and speak no evil about the massive number of illegal aliens pouring across our border. Recently, Pelosi refused to listen to DHS Secretary Nielsen, who was attempting to apprise Democrats of the dangers such illegal invaders represent to our country and thus explain why President Trump wants a wall:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen got into a tense confrontation this week, with the California Democrat interrupting Nielsen’s presentation on border security and illegal immigration, telling her “I reject your facts.” …

Pelosi interrupted Nielsen, who was citing statistics related to the border, including how many criminal illegal immigrants attempted to enter the U.S. last year.

“I reject your facts,” Pelosi told Nielsen

“These aren’t my facts,” Nielsen shot back. “These are the facts.”

Nielsen later wrote on social media,

I am disappointed that Dems did not want to hear from @DHSgov about the security & humanitarian crisis we are facing at the border. They didn’t want to hear about criminal aliens, drug smugglers, smuggled & abused children or violent caravans trying to breach the border wall. [emphasis added]

At the same meeting, Nielsen told Pelosi and the Democrats that approximately 3000 people with terrorist ties and 17,000 criminals were caught at the U.S./Mexican border just last year.

Apparently, though, Democrats do not want to hear facts about why President Trump wants to secure the border. They don’t want the truth. They can’t handle the truth, so they simply ignore it. What they want is a campaign slogan to use against President Trump, along the lines of, “He’s really just a racist, a white supremacist, who hates all people of color. That’s why he wants an ‘immoral’ wall.”

Any fact that doesn’t fit that meme is simply ignored by them. If they don’t hear it, then it’s not true. Even if it’s a fact the recognition of which is crucial to the safety, health, and security of our nation!

Democrats apparently don’t care about our safety and security as a nation. Homeland security means nothing to them. Instead, all they want to secure is a cudgel, a false narrative, to use against President Trump in the 2020 election.

All the Democrats care about is power. 

Democrat Representative Lacy Clay recently let slip the reason for their resistance to President Trump’s border security plans when he said,

And we know now it [the border wall] is a campaign promise that we don’t intend on letting him keep.

Pretend as much as they like about why they oppose building a wall on the southern border, that statement by Representative Clay says it all:

No matter what President Trump or Republican (or Independent) members of Congress offer the Democrats in negotiations, they have no intention of letting President Trump keep the campaign promise that was the most important promise he made–the one that won him the election because We the People have wanted and have been waiting for that wall, for real border security, for decades.

Democrats oppose the wall, despite the fact that the promise of a wall did win the election for the President. 

Democrats are fully aware that We the People support the wall, and yet they have no intention of allowing any wall to be built, just so that President Trump cannot say in 2020 that he kept that particular and most important campaign promise.

Democrats care more about political power than they do about the safety and security of our citizens and our nation. They care even less about the will of We the People.

So much for their much-vaunted, precious, virtue-signaling claim that they value “democracy.”

The Democrats are a disgrace to their name.
