The First Birther and Other Prevaricating Democrats

Just this past week, former president Barack Obama made reference, yet again, to the “wild conspiracy theory” that he doesn’t have a valid birth certificate. In fact, Obama lumped the issue of his birth certificate (credibly alleged to be forged) together with what he calls another “wild conspiracy theory” — the one “surrounding Benghazi,” as if facts about what really happened in Benghazi are not true.

The thing about Obama is that he just can’t seem to let go of that “wild conspiracy theory” about his birth certificate. He’s constantly talking about it, still hung up on it, even after his presidency is history.

Odd that Obama believes that the issue of his birth certificate is just a conspiracy theory, considering that he himself was the very first “birther.” 

Way back in 1990, Obama, writing for the (satirical) Harvard Law Revue, referred to himself as the

First African African-American President of a major law revue published outside of New Haven.

What else is an African African-American other than a black African that became, at some point, an American?

A year later, in 1991, when Obama was promoting his first book, the publisher sent out a booklet containing a brief biography of this new author:

Barack Obama, the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review, was born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.  

This alleged error was not changed for nearly two decades, until questioned during the 2012 election campaign. Wouldn’t an author have supplied his publishers with the facts surrounding his life story because, well, how else would they know?

On a recent trip to Kenya, Obama made this “wild” Freudian slip:

Now, three years ago, I visited Kenya as the first sitting American President to come from Kenya.

Whoops! Priceless.

What is it with progressive politicians that they can’t tell the truth about their life stories? Why do they embellish? Or outright lie? Or fabricate? Or equivocate? Or exaggerate? Or give false impressions? Or deliberately muddy the waters and then hide evidence that would reveal truth?

Other progressives exhibit this curious behavior, as if they’re ashamed of who they really are. For example, there’s Senator Elizabeth Warren, who has claimed to be of Native American extraction (a mere 1/32, although it can’t be verified). Genealogists believe they have disproved her claim. Native Americans are variously outraged, or bemused.

Robert “Beto” O’Rourke is currently running for the U.S. Senate from Texas. One would imagine that Beto would have at least some Hispanic ancestry. Nope! He’s completely Irish-American. The candidate claims that the nickname Beto, a common Hispanic diminutive for names containing “bert” (e.g., Roberto, Ediberto, etc.), was given to him in childhood and the nickname just “stuck.” Research shows, however, that in college, Beto went by Rob or Robert. Now running for office from a heavily Hispanic district, Beto apparently self-identifies as a “son of the border” who has “imbued himself with Hispanic culture.” Shades of Rachel Dolezal.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, running for the U.S. House of Representatives from New York, has given the false impression that she is just “a girl from the Bronx,” from a working class background, whose mother was a cleaning lady. In truth, she grew up in upscale Westchester County, her father was a well-known and successful architect with his own firm, and it was actually her grandmother who cleaned houses, back in Puerto Rico. Only this week, continuing her outreach to the working class, she met with construction workers while wearing a $3500 designer outfit! She’s just another girl from the Bronx.

There’s another Hispanic candidate who’s fibbing about quite a few details of her past life: Julia Salazar. She’s running for the New York state Senate. Salazar has a confusing biography (not unlike Barack Obama). She may be Jewish. Then again, she may be a conservative Christian. She definitely was pro-life, at least in college. She may once have been a Republican, but she’s running now as a pro-choice “left-wing, anti-Israel Jew” on a Democrat ticket. Salazar said that she was born in Colombia and is a “proud immigrant” who came to the U.S. with her parents, as an infant. She was reported to be a naturalized citizen. She now says that she was born in Miami.

Who could forget Ilhan Omar, a Muslim Somali-American, who’s running for the U.S. House of Representatives? Omar has had two husbands, one of whom is probably her own brother. Omar seemingly perjured herself under oath, in a divorce proceeding, concerning a child who was born while she was still married to her presumed brother. She may or may not have divorced her first husband before marrying the second (her brother). It’s been suggested that she married her brother to help him immigrate to the U.S., which, if true, is immigration fraud.

Why do so many progressives lie about their life stories? Aren’t they comfortable in their own skins? Are they ashamed of their real roots? Why must they all have a fabricated identity?

Sometimes the answer is obvious. If one eventually wishes to become president of the United States, one must be a natural born citizen. It’s required by the Constitution. That fact explains Obama’s prevarications. It may also explain Salazar’s, depending upon whether she plans to or is being groomed to run for the presidency. It’s been written that

Even if Julia Salazar was born outside the United States, as of 1986, a child born in wedlock in a foreign country who had one parent who was an American citizen who had lived in the United States for a total of five years at any time prior to the child’s birth is automatically granted citizenship.

This might explain why someone has changed her story and suddenly says she was born in Miami. If Salazar runs for the presidency, will we then have to go through all that birth certificate nonsense again, because the mainstream media are demonstrably incurious when it comes to vetting candidates “of color?” The progressive media doesn’t like to ask anyone “of color” for his or her papers. It’s bad form, apparently, even if the law and the Constitution require it.

The above quoted paragraph does not apply to Barack Obama. If he was born outside the U.S. to the parents he has named, he was not “automatically granted citizenship” since his mother had not lived in the U.S. long enough after the age of 14 to convey citizenship upon him. In either case, he would still not be a natural born citizen, because even automatically granted citizenship is statutory citizenship, not natural born citizenship. But we simply don’t know, because he’s never supplied any evidence that verifies his eligibility.

One has to wonder if Salazar, like Obama, has multiple citizenships. In Obama’s case, he has held British, Kenyan, Indonesian, and U.S. citizenship. Is Salazar also a citizen of Colombia?

The parallels between Salazar and Obama are obvious. She, like he, has used various names, further confusing the ability to discern truth. As with Obama, reporters are already rewriting stories to correct so-called errors, despite the fact that there remain inconsistencies in the narratives provided by the candidate, her family, and her spokesperson. How do reporters decide whom to believe? Compare one original story,

with the current version of the same story:

It would seem to be a simple matter to supply the documents that would prove the truth. Birth certificate. Naturalization records. School records. Parents’ citizenship records. Passports.

But wait! We’re still missing all those kinds of records for Obama–real certified documents, not digital images that could as easily be photoshopped as this image.

But don’t expect any reporter to ask for documentary proof of any of the claims made by progressive candidates about their life stories. Progressives of color have diversity privilege. They all seem to have, amazingly enough, the same biographical ghost writer. Are they all Soros babies? All being groomed for office, to continue Obama’s fundamental transformation of America, by any means necessary (even if via false identity)?

Many progressive candidates with sketchy life histories claim to be of the working class. Yet Obama, child of privilege, attended an exclusive prep school, Ivy League universities, grew up in Hawaii in what amounted to a penthouse with his bank vice-president grandmother, and traveled the world with his well-connected mother. Ocasio-Cortez grew up in ritzy Westchester County, NY, with her architect father, and attended elite Boston University. Salazar lived in a big, beautiful riverfront house in Jupiter, Florida, where each child had his own room and Dad had a six-figure salary. She also attended an Ivy League college, but it’s unknown whether or not she graduated. Both Obama and Salazar claim to have been raised by single mothers, although it’s a stretch. Obama’s mother remarried almost immediately after divorcing his father (her new husband being a member of the Indonesian royal family). Salazar’s father (a pilot) was present in his children’s lives, physically and financially, despite being divorced from their mother. Like Obama, she claims to have been a community “activist.” So many of Soros’s babies are community activists.

Elizabeth Warren and Beto O’Rourke are the odd persons out, but their motivation is obvious. They’re white. Nobody wants to be white, anymore. White isn’t cool. Whites have privilege. Whites are fundamentally and congenitally racist, even if they don’t know it.

Sure, Warren is a woman, but being a white woman is not as sexy as being a woman of color, so Warren has to improvise. Intersectionality is where it’s at. The more “marginalized groups” you can claim to belong to, the better off you are in Progressive Land. It would be easier for Liz to claim to be gay or to suddenly decide to identify as transgender. Nobody can disprove a feeling.

Poor Beto has it even worse than Liz, in a politically correct, intersectional world where diversity privilege rules. Heterosexual white male? Raspberries!

No wonder Donald Trump is president. At least We the People know who he is. Trump has lived most of his life in the public arena. We know who Donald Trump is, warts and all. What you see is what you get.

We know that Trump loves this country, which has allowed him to succeed in life. We also know that he wants to restore this country to its former, pre-Obama greatness, not to fundamentally transform it into a socialist dystopia.

Come November, We the People have the chance to stand up and protect the legacy of President Trump.

We get the government we deserve. It’s up to us–despite mainstream media fake news and the social media blackout of conservative thought–to somehow find ways to get the word out, to educate our fellow citizens about exactly what sort of country these phony progressive candidates plan to create out of our beautiful Republic.
