D-Day Remembrance 2018

Let’s never forget the sacrifices made by the Greatest Generation on D-Day, when brave heroes stormed the beaches of Normandy so that the world would be free from tyranny.

It’s amazing to think how most of the heroes were in their early 20s. In this 21st century, they would be defined as “children.”

Think back to what you were doing when you were 21, and then remember what these selfless heroes did.

Let’s hope that we as a people never forget how our freedom was bought that day on the beaches of Normandy.

If only our European allies would better remember who secured their freedom from the horrors of Hitler’s National Socialist German Workers’ Party,  and at what price

On June 6, 1944, more than 160,000 Allied troops landed along a 50-mile stretch of heavily-fortified French coastline, to fight Nazi Germany on the beaches of Normandy, France. Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower called the operation a crusade in which, “we will accept nothing less than full victory.” More than 5,000 Ships and 13,000 aircraft supported the D-Day invasion, and by day’s end, the Allies gained a foot-hold in Continental Europe. The cost in lives on D-Day was high. More than 9,000 Allied Soldiers were killed or wounded, but their sacrifice allowed more than 100,000 Soldiers to begin the slow, hard slog across Europe, to defeat Adolf Hitler’s crack troops.

May we never forget them.

    • Noblesse oblige. She loves playing at being a Queen. Oprah, I mean. Isn’t it rather demeaning to flaunt your wealth by giving gifts to someone you barely know? And why? Just because she’s also black? Don’t you give gifts to the bride and groom? I’ve never heard of gifting the mother of the bride. But then again, I never heard of someone uninviting her own father because her mother may not want to share the spotlight with him. And besides–he’s white. Doesn’t fit with the narrative.

  2. This is one of the best stories I’ve seen in a while. Once again, INTERNET SLEUTHS uncover a scandal. Claire McCaskill made a big, big whooping deal about traveling around the state she allegedly represents via RV to weigh in at town halls, most of which, according to her TV ads, were full of conservatives who didn’t agree with her but aw, shucks! Claire strode into the lion’s den anyway and allegedly the people loved her. NOW, it comes out that she didn’t travel on the RV! Nope. She did sit on it at times, during the days, probably arrived in it to the townhalls and appearances, but every night she FLEW IN HER PRIVATE PLANE BACK TO ST. LOUIS OR KANSAS CITY or some other place in the state to spend the night in style and comfort. Then the next day she FLEW BACK to meet up with her so-called caravan. Imagine the CO2 Claire pumped into the atmosphere (besides the hot air coming out of her mouth)! What a hypocrite. But hooray for the sleuths that tracked her plane via public records and GPS! Wonderful. And now POTUS weighs in! https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2018/06/president-trump-thumps-air-claire-mccaskill-for-cheating-and-taking-private-jet-on-state-rv-tour/

AIR CLAIRE is back! In the past, Claire was caught making taxpayers fund flights on her own private plane (which she claimed her hubby sold. Apparently NOT!) In addition, she hid the private planes (yes, plural) so she wouldn’t have to pay over $300,000 in property taxes on them! That’s when she got the nickname Air Claire, when she got caught evading taxes.

HAD SHE BEEN A REPUBLICAN, she would have been forced to resign and she probably would have been prosecuted, instead of just being allowed to pay the back taxes. Oh, that old double standard.
