What’s Up, Imran?

There’s a break in the Awan Scandal. What’s that you say? You never heard of the Awan Scandal? That’s no surprise, because it involves Democrats, whom the media bend themselves into pretzels to avoid exposing to due scrutiny.

Imran Awan was arrested at Dulles airport by the FBI, going on the lam, exiting the country, stage left (or right, depending upon his ultimate destination, which was probably his native Pakistan).

[Emphasis added to quotes]

Florida GOP Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s right-hand information technology (IT) aide was arrested attempting to leave the country just a few hours after The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group revealed that he is the target of an FBI investigation.

Imran Awan, a Pakistani-born IT aide, had access to all emails and files of dozens of members of Congress, as well as the password to the iPad that Wasserman Schultz used for Democratic National Committee business before she resigned as its head in July 2016. He was apprehended while attempting to flee the U.S.Fox News first reported. …

He’s been charged with one count of bank fraud, but it would be no surprise to learn at a later date that there are other charges pending.

With luck, he’ll turn state’s evidence and open up that proverbial Pandora’s Box of truth. He’s out of jail, but fitted with a GPS monitor.

Let’s hope he’ll soon be singing like a nightingale.

Maybe we’ll learn who really “hacked” the DNC emails. There’s a lot of backstory to catch up with, if you’re unaware of the Awan Scandal. Much of it is quite ominous.

Many questions asked and unanswered. We look forward to learning the answers.

Five members of a Pakistani family under criminal investigation for allegedly misusing their positions as computer administrators for dozens of Democrats in the House of Representatives were paid at least $4 million from July 2009 to the present, The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group has learned.

Evidence suggests some of the dozens of House Democrats — many of whom serve on the intelligence, homeland security and foreign affairs committees — who employed the suspects were inexplicably paying people they rarely or never saw.

The suspects had full access to the emails and office computer files of the members for whom they worked.  A focus of the investigation by the U.S. Capitol Police is an off-site server on which congressional data was allegedly loaded without the knowledge of authorities.

Even before Capitol Police told chiefs of staff for the employing Democrats Feb. 2 that the Awans — including brothers Imran, Abid and Jamal, and two of their wives, Hina Alvi and Natalia Sova — were suspects in a criminal theft and cybersecurity probe, there were multiple signs that something was amiss.

For example, four of the 500 highest-paid House staffers are suspects, according to TheDCNF’s analysis of payroll records. There are more than 15,000 congressional staff employees …

We demand that our government find and reveal the truth about this scandal and this extended family of native Pakistani Muslims who somehow got access to, among other items, the email of dozens of Democrat Congresspersons!

While the media and the Democrats blather on about the ridiculous notion that mysterious “Russians” could blackmail the President of the United States, using a laughable dossier of bogus opposition research, the very real possibility exists that this extended family of foreigners could very well be blackmailing any number of Democrat House members.

Comprehensive backstory also at this link. An excerpt:

These are the key elements of the case that make its so extraordinary and so potentially troubling:

  • The Awan group had access to all of their bosses’ emails, documents and confidential files: everything on the lawmakers’ office computers and other electronic devices.
  • That gave the technicians illegal access to all secret and privileged congressional information, including any potentially sensitive material that could be compromising and/or politically embarrassing.
  • Lawmakers have no way of knowing if anything on their electronic devices was copied.
  • The technicians had no oversight, and there was virtually no tracking of what they did.
  • That was an extraordinary violation of the House security rules.
  • The Awans are suspected of setting up a secret server to store information.
  • They were paid much more than those in similar positions.

The suspects were all banned from the House of Representatives computer network back in February when the investigation was announced. But, despite all the damning evidence that continues to accumulate, no one has been charged or arrested [until today]. It also appears that none of their passports has been confiscated.

One more significant fact: The stepmother of the Awan brothers had her home and communications bugged by the brothers during a family dispute. Did they also bug Congresspersons?

  3. Well, our investigation is getting legs. Weasel Zippers headlines The Daily Caller report.

Thanks George Webb! for going to Andre Taggert’s rental home (owned by Imran) and finding out about the missing government issued laptops (4), pile of blackberries (apx 20), the router and smashed servers stashed in the basement.

I applaud these Bernie supporters for their unrelenting love of Country above Party. Seth Rich did not die in vain. (if he’s really passed, i.e.)

    Yay George!

    • Good on him! Good on all those Bernie supporters. They wuz screwed, too. imho, this is B.S., though, when they try to make Awan and his kin out to be just your ordinary money-grubbing criminals. I would believe NOTHING his relatives say. “Also Wednesday, two of Imran Awan’s relatives went on the record to say they think he would do anything for money.” Yeah, uh, huh. And they don’t have a dog in the hunt, do they? There’s way more to this than capitalist greed. Where’d all the money go? We see black market cigarette scams supporting terrorism. There are other scams that are run out of fronts, like convenience stores, that also support terrorism. There’s been Medicaid and Medicare fraud, iirc, that support the same “causes.” I hope the DOJ and the FBI dig and get to the bottom of this whole sorry mess and doesn’t just sweep it under the rug for “national security.”

  4. Dismissed. It pays to play in Florida. Lawsuit dismissed. Though judge finds DNC fraud, cannot test it.

…Today, federal Judge William Zloch dismissed the suit, stating in a judicial order that — even assuming the allegations are true — it’s impossible to test any “fraud” claims against the DNC in federal court…

  5. George Webb went to the Hawkshead house on 4/10/17 and spoke with Andre Taggart, the tenant. He disclosed the finds in the house as well as witnessing movement of the Lessor’s wife’s van.

    4/11/17 Report updated on 5/22/17.

  6. July 28, 2017

Webb asked Taggart if he noticed anything strange about the home. “He left stuff at the house,” Taggart told Webb. “There’s laptops, blackberries; a pile of blackberries.” Each device had government markings on it, Taggart said. The marine called the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), FBI, and US Capitol Hill police, worried that he might be accused of stealing government property. Officials eventually returned to pick up the materials.

  7. Meet the Becks. Again. Progressive attorneys whose DNC case was dismissed speak out. NB: There is a profanity-laced truth tirade at about 10 minutes in. (even their dog was woked)… interesting and valuable inside information on how the DNC operates…

  8. 7 Mortgages taken out on Hawkshead (home of the discovered congressional laptops, blackberries, router, etc.) 3 in January 2017 just days apart. House sold on August 3, 2017… and this is not in evidence for the hearing on Friday. Why?

  9. Andre Taggart states what transpired at the Hawkshead house when he and his wife rented it in mid February 2017 and what he found there.

    Busted, Alex.

  10. http://dailycaller.com/2017/08/29/exclusive-imran-awan-has-still-active-secret-house-account-and-its-tied-to-an-intelligence-staffer/

A former IT aide suspected of stealing equipment and data from Congress still has an active, secret email account on the House computer system, even though he has been banned from the congressional network because of a criminal investigation into the alleged cybersecurity violations, The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group has learned.

Imran Awan’s still-active email address is linked to the name of a House staffer who specializes in intelligence and homeland security matters for Indiana Democratic Rep. André Carson. Court documents and emails obtained by TheDCNF show Awan used the address 123@mail.house.gov in addition to his standard imran.awan@mail.house.gov account…

  11. The fix was in to protect Justice Department officials as high up as the US Attorney General even before the Awan investigation started, FBI veterans with knowledge of the case now fear…

…The US Attorney in DC is Channing Phillips, who worked for Loretta Lynch and Eric Holder in key roles during their tenures as US Attorney General. Phillips was appointed by Obama shortly before the Awan grand jury convened. The confirmation of Phillips’ replacement nominated by President Donald Trump has been stalled by Sen. Chuck Schumer for eight months…

…President Trump has nominated Jesse Liu as the new US Attorney to replace Phillips, the Obama holdover. However, Schumer and senate Democrats have stalled Liu’s confirmation. This has provided Schumer de facto control of the Awan investigation which otherwise could implicate dozens of his fellow Congressional Democrats….

  12. ~ witsnewsdotcom • …. YEP!!!!! ^^^^^^
I’m so tired of hearing about Democrats getting a free pass out of the criminal justice system. Obama, Hillary Clinton, Lois Lerner, Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch….the list goes on and on.

But there never seems to be any road blocks to prosecuting good guys like Sheriff Joe…for fake crimes like doing his job.

    ~ Clint Eastwood •
Should have been a purge day 1 of everyone hired by Obama.
    You messed up Trump ?….

BUT WE GET 2 REALLY “SEE” the CHEATS …. FACE 2 FACE!!!! ha’

    • Honey, you better believe it. How the hell can Trump explain Koskinen still being there at the IRS, the FBI being allowed to stonewall this way on releasing files on Hillary (how ironic, considering she and Bill ordered up nearly 1000 FBI files as soon as they got into the WH), the FEC stalling in releasing records, etc.? So Gorka claims he’s going to help Trump fight off forces within the WH. WTF? As I’ve said before, WHAT does Trump need to do other than exert the power he has to CONTROL these so-called forces? If he needs help fighting them, then what’s the use of Trump being president? I mean, just FIRE THEM. Problem solved. The “forces” won’t be there anymore TO fight. If he really WANTS to fight them, that is. This makes no sense to me.

    • How many pics of the dress do we need? I’m weary of Javanka, sorry to say. I think they have no business there. Just mho.

    • Big Z, thanks for hangin’ in here with me. Tomorrow is the fake preliminary hearing. The prosecution is suppressing their own evidence. LOL

      Andre Carson….

  13. …low hang-in’ FRUITS … YEP ….. FIGHT ….OUR USA “STATUES” !!!!

  14. RIP . We’re on it.

      • WTH?!! Amazing the location. Who was he and what did he know? Three bodies found recently in the same area?

        • I think they know who he was – the latest one, question is – what did he know. They seem to becoming in 3s these days. …. the crowdsource people are still investigating the 3 attorneys in Wasserman Shultz’s district and they also are finding links to Seth Rich and another person Shawn Lucas in DC. From what I understand Shawn Lucas was the guy that was about to serve papers on the DNC hack. He was murdered on August 2 last year.

  15. Heeeeeeeere’s Imran

He’s now an Uber driver .Beep Beep.

…Gowen asked that Imran Awan’s GPS monitoring bracelet be removed, citing that Imran might need to attend to an emergency with his children. In a press conference outside court, Gowen admitted that the children are in Pakistan and refused to explain the discrepancy…

  16. Gateway Pundit is reporting that Imran did not drive for them…. I so, Gowan lied to the judge’s face… we couln’t figure out how he could be a driver since he has a very poor driving record including DUI. Maybe hs’e using an alias and fake drivers license. Who knows. Omigosh. Also, you would think that the prosecution would know for sure as to his employment since he’s on house arrest with a monitor….

    • Hmm. I would think that’s a crime but he’ll probably say he was just going by what his client told him. Of course, any lawyer worth his salt would dump the client who made him commit a crime–lying to the court. I do believe it’s sort of a tenet of the religion to LIE, so …

  17. Meet Shawn Lucas. RIP 8/2/16

  18. A quick primer from March 2017 (Day 134) on how the Awan spy ring was discovered. A playbook on Who’ Who….

  20. Hat Tip: Zenway

OK so here’s my question re:
What’s up with all the hoopla “Gowen lied to the Judge” in court, last Friday, September 1st, 2017… “he’s an Uber driver and needs 4 additional hours curfew (2 AM) and 50 additional miles (100 miles) on his house arrest to keep his job and care for his children (in Pakistan) —

How come the Police/ Prosecution Team do not know where their monitored defendant works and where he goes? How come they did not object to the stupid request on the spot? It doesn’t make any sense that they are clueless as to his whereabouts, his occupation and activities. What BS.

Also, how do we know Debbie Wasserman Shultz’s brother who works within the DC prosecution agency isn’t giving her the inside skinny? They say, “oh, but, he’s not directly involved in the prosecution.” So? More BS.

    Collusion/ Conspiracy./ Fraud/ Corruption

  21. Further to Zenway’s link….

Starting about 18 minutes in… Imran, Debbie Does Imran, Beranton Whisenant auotpsy vs. police report, Clinton Deaths…

  22. …..DEAREST DEB ….^^^^ need NO “hat” tip less filled with moola’ ok!

  23. George Webb doubts Imran planted the incriminating evidence in the Rayburn Building… April 6 – 10th, 2017 activities…

    • Yeah. That’s a puzzler. Saw the stories about this yesterday but didn’t have time to ponder on it. We’ve heard the laptop was hidden in a crevice in a tunnel. Now it was in an old phone booth. WTH? Is there anything that passes for objective truth anymore, or do they just make things up to make their stories more truthy? Why’s the wifey coming back to the U.S. voluntarily, to face charges? Wives can’t be FORCED to testify against husbands but … Actually, he has more than one wife, so which is legally (in this country) the wife? Something’s going on, but not sure what it is, other than that the DemoncRATS and all the judges they can muster will want to sweep this under the rug to protect them ALL.

      • Yes, that I heard too, it was stuffed in a crevice in a tunnel or something. I can’t believe all the stuff that they are reporting was with the laptop. There’s so much more to this than meets the eye, obviously. I am following GW today and he has made 8 short videos already and introducing new players…

        • I’m listening to the one you linked yesterday, but I’m having a hard time keeping up because I’m so far behind on this story’s details. I wish I had more time to watch all these videos. So bottom line is they’re trying to pin it on the new guy? They’re all going to point fingers at each other. Who’s the reporter who’s “knocking on doors?” (I hope somebody is!)

          • I can help you. I have been following the story since February. It is a conundrum, for sure. But I can help. I’ll try to make a list of things, people and places in the best order I can remember and send it to you. It’s incredible, Miri. It’s high Treason, actually.

            • Thanks. He just made a lot of references to stuff I hadn’t picked up on yet. Do you think they’ll ever be busted or will they get away with it all?

  24. Busy Day for George in the Jungle

    • Ha, ha. That one was funny. I followed that one. How is it a “spy laptop,” if you can summarize it quickly for me? What’s the Navy to do with this? I’m so confused!

      • There is a shipping ring involved using diplomatic passports. Depleted uranium, white phosphorous (acid terror),weapons, cars, drugs, human trafficking, organ harvesting, etc. I’ll work on this aspect for you.

  25. There are signs that DWS is panicking. Wasserman Schultz first claimed that the laptop was hers and notoriously harangued the Capitol Police to return it to her on that basis.

Now she is claiming that it was Awan’s and that she had never seen it. Yet:

Wasserman Schultz has hired an outside counsel, William Pittard, to argue that the laptop not be examined. Pittard argued that the speech and debate clause – which only protects a member’s information directly related to legislative duties – should prevent prosecutors from examining the laptop’s contents, TheDCNF has learned. Pittard did not respond to requests for comment.

Pittard, a partner with KaiserDillon, is the former acting general counsel of the House. Hiring an outside counsel to argue the speech and debate clause on behalf of Wasserman Schultz is highly unusual, because the general counsel of the House offers opinions on speech and debate issues for free.

That can’t be cheap. There must be material on that laptop that that is incriminating. Very incriminating. Perhaps of DWS, perhaps of some of the other House Democrats who hired the Awan gang.

  26. Miri, Here’s the beginning just to set the stage. (Day 53) George got wiped out but he rebuilt and then all the proverbial crap hit the fan. This is from December 2016 and is wrapped around Braverman quitting the Clinton Foundation and went missing.

    • Well, his loss was my gain. That video gave me a lot of clarity. Got it now!

      • This is vast, Miri. The fact that Congress Members are mum speaks volumes.

        • Because they have so much on them and some of it’s probably on the laptop/hard drive. They have them literally and figuratively by the pelotas.

Ha, GW talks about all the aliases. Who else do we know with a bunch of aliases? Oh, yeah. Barry.

          • Re: Barky. Jason Goodman has been following that ratline for ages. H recently went to Phoenix to meet with Zullo and Arpaio. He’s planning to go back “West” soon to get Sheriff Arpaio on Crowdsource The Truth. I’m thinking this might be delayed because the fan is spinning the crap like crazy right now. Jason is on it. Thank Goodness! (I don’t think he’s a Bernie supporter/Progressive like most of the others investigating.) 🙂

  27. I don’t know what to make of this report this morning. ??? First of all, what proof do they have that Imran left the goodies in the “phone booth”. Who says? Secondly, why are they reporting it was now the Longworth Building?
And lastly, though many other questions arise, why are “they” giving Imran the hard drive?

See August 31 letter from Phillip Channing here:

Another question that bugs me…. why is it the prosecutor and police do not know the occupation and movements of a detained person on house arrest? That’s crazy. Reporters are out there investigating Uber up, down and sideways to find out if Imran worked there. Why the mystery?

    • Channing D. Phillips (error above)

GW has a lot of info on this person…

    • It sounds like a game of Clue: Was it a crevice in the Rayburn, or a phone booth in the Longworth? Sheesh. Can they at least get their “stories” in line in advance? Is it just me or does it seem like GW is ahead of them and they end up “reporting” (or admitting to) things he’s already reported on?

The memo from Phillips is even more confusing. Did they only get a hard drive from the crevice/phone booth or was it a laptop? Then there was a laptop they got from Awan when he was arrested? Why refer to the phone booth thingy as a “hard drive” but the “forensic image” from the laptop AS a laptop? If in the first instance, he’s talking about imaging the hard drive OF the phone booth laptop, then wouldn’t he say the same thing with regard to the laptop Awan had when arrested? I’m so confused!

“U.S. Capitol Police found the laptop after midnight April 6, 2017, in a tiny room that formerly served as a phone booth in the Rayburn House Office Building, according to a Capitol Police report reviewed by The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group. Alongside the laptop were a Pakistani ID card, copies of Awan’s driver’s license and congressional ID badge, and letters to the U.S. attorney. Police also found notes in a composition notebook marked “attorney-client privilege.”

The laptop had the username “RepDWS,” even though the Florida Democrat and former Democratic National Committee chairman previously said it was Awan’s computer and that she had never even seen it. …”

Ok. So it’s a POLICE REPORT, which is supposed to be accurate. So it WAS a laptop (unless the reporter is mistaken) and it was the RAYBURN bldg., unless the reporter and the cops are mistaken. But Phillips appears to know NOTHING, if he thinks it was the Longworth bldg. and only a hard drive. They’re completely different buildings, separated by a street. Would the phone booth be in a tunnel under the street, causing the confusion?

I agree 100% on the fact that supposedly Awan is under house arrest but they don’t seem to know what he does for a living (well, who ever did?) and where he is. Uber has already said he doesn’t work for them under his name or any of his many aliases. How could he work for them with his driving record, anyway? Would he pass a background check? Oh, yeah. It’s debatable whether they even do them. They for sure object to FINGERPRINTING their drivers. Just like the DemoncRATS object to voter ID. They don’t want to know the answer.

      • Well, and now that story I linked says it wasn’t in the basement but was on the second floor of Rayburn, so there can be no confusion with regard to any tunnel under the street. I’m sure that’s what I originally read–it was in a crevice in a basement tunnel. Could it be there were two different items? The hard drive in the crevice and a laptop in the phone booth-like closet? (I can actually see where somebody might use that to surf the web. There’s a photo at the link. It would be private.) DWS’s office is in the Longworth bldg., the story says.

“A federal employee told the Daily Caller, as investigators were zeroing in on the Awan brothers, someone had hidden a laptop used by Imran in a crevice of the Rayburn House Office Building. (Rayburn is connected by a tunnel to the adjoining Longworth House Office Building, where Wasserman Schultz’s office is located.) …”

“The laptop was reportedly found hidden in a little-used section of the Rayburn House Office Building and was later seized by Capitol Police in the criminal investigation against him. …”

Now maybe nitpicking but didn’t the video from GW you linked yesterday say the closet/phone booth/whatever was just down the hall from Meeks’s office?

Was forced to use the G-word search engine but it turns up literally NO mainstream stories about “laptop Rayburn crevice tunnel”. No surprise. The FACT that the lamestream is totally avoiding the story speaks volumes. Those lamestream stories that do exist, about the arrest for “bank fraud”, studiously avoid mention of DWS and her laptop and where it was found. They slam Trump and Daily Caller and GW as right-wing conspiracy nuts (another way to KNOW you’re onto something big).

    • Woweeee. WTPOTUS knew something before GW today!

Longworth? Yo, it was the Rayburn…? Yo Luke, you missed the discrepancy, again.

  30. http://truepundit.com/the-bizarre-behavior-that-foretold-imran-awans-troubles-with-fbi-former-tenant-of-pakistani-spills-the-beans-video/

A Virginia woman who rented a house from Imran Awan revealed some bizarre behavior exhibited by the Pakistani IT guru who faces a host of federal fraud charges, according to an interview with the former tenant…

Laurel Everly was a previous tenant of Awan. During a recent interview with CrowdSource the Truth on Thursday, Everly divulged what it was like to live under Awan’s roof in Alexandria, VA during her nine-month lease.

Awan pumped electricity from the main house to a detached locked storage shed that used cooling towers to preserve and maintain electronic “equipment.” Everly said she paid the electricity bill for set up but was not allowed access to the unit.

Everly thought Awan might be using her rental of the property to implicate her or set her up for possible illegal things he was involved in.

Awan did not live at the house but used the address to receive personal mail at the location, often addressed to the names of different alias’ he employed.

Awan demanded rent be paid in cash only.

Awan pressured the woman to sublet her basement to a number of Pakistani nationals who had relocated to the United States. [‘the stepmother”?]

    • Know what? Seeing as how these people were into so much and it’s hard to believe they missed ANY scam possible–what are the odds of multiple tax returns and refunds for all the aliases?

    • Does this remind you of the Obama “family?”

    • So creepy. Did you listen to her interview? Imran would let himself into HER rental property with his own key, without advance notice or permission. That’s illegal, too! He used her home as a mail drop, so his excuse was to come in and get his mail.

She laughs SO MUCH that it makes her sound less credible. IMHO.
