I read that FOX has had to diversify in order to stay profitable, on account of their broadcast channel losing money. That means their film and cable businesses are carrying the broadcast channel, but this doesn’t mean that the FOX cable news channel is not profitable. BUT, if they keep going like this, they’re going to LOSE money sooner rather than later. Greta, O’Really, AND Ingraham attack Pam Geller? I turned them off last night, after hearing that. Won’t be back soon. I’ll spend my time reading Gateway Pundit.
I do listen to FOX still, but it’s rare. I’ll check it at night sometimes before going off to sleep (if I don’t fall asleep right away), and I’ll catch excerps of it. They are full of crap too, just in a different context than the more liberal channels. Hannity stokes the fires like the good catholic boy he is and keeps the neocons and ultraconservatives happy, while O’reilly creates a different fervor and skews left himself. I don’t really care about their personal opinions, I just want some true investigative journalism and facts. I decide what I think. News is 24/seven in your face all day long……the more chance the media gets to spin all day one way or other and create the mischief and mayhem that we’ve got now. Maybe when they all start losing money, they’ll quit doing so much public damage.
I used to be a news junkie till I realized how much these guys are making off of spinning to my addiction and that I’m left with a hangover of political garbage. I’ve sobered up some and I must say I feel much better.
They do spin, alfy. After watching them for years, at this point, all we can think is: They DON’T REALLY BELIEVE THAT, do they? It becomes obvious that they take a position just to cause an uproar, although how the hell anybody can blame Pam Geller for two jihadists’ actions, or ESPECIALLY blame her for THEIR DEATHS, is going way too far to stir up controversy. I’ve read recently that your “moderate” Muslims don’t hold to the belief that drawing that guy equals death. Therefore, whom did Pam “demean” other than people who THREATEN TO KILL OTHERS who will not SUBMIT to their warped ideology? Our ideology is to respect freedom of speech, not to bow to anybody who puts a sword to our necks. It’s time to uphold OUR TRADITIONS and not submit to their warped, 7th century totalitarian views. Well, the woman has had a makeover for TV since I first saw her. She was married to a Middle Eastern man, which is why her name is Soofi. Her other son, iirc, is called Ali. I read that they lived in the Middle East for a while. I believe she and the husband are divorced. I read somewhere that the younger son did live with the radical one, but disagreed with his activities and recently moved out. Who the heck knows what’s true anymore? I do know, however, that this should NEVER have happened given that even I recognized that Elton guy’s name, so why wasn’t the DHS WATCHING HIM?
