Compare and Contrast

wasserman-schultz-and-obama1 - Copy (2)

Sorry! I couldn’t resist. And now …

in light of the hullaballoo over former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani’s comments to the effect that he sometimes wonders whether Barry Obama loves his country, let’s take a second look at something Debbie Wasserman Schultz (above, with Obama) said in 2012 about former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, when he was running for president:

It would be nice if we had a candidate for president who was committed to America.

Funny how Wasserman Schultz went ballistic over Giuliani’s comments. Deb responded harshly, crying out:

Now is the time for [the Republican Party’s] leaders to stop this kind of nonsense.

Nonsense! And yet, Deb thought nothing of questioning Governor Mitt Romney’s love for his country.

Did the media back then hold Wasserman Schultz to the same standard by which they judge Mayor Giuliani today? Hardly.

Former Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani of New York on Thursday defended his assertion that President Obama did not love America, and said that his criticism of Mr. Obama’s upbringing should not be considered racist because the president was raised by “a white mother.”

Did the New York Times imply that Wasserman Schultz, in so criticizing Romney, was perhaps anti-Mormon? Anti-male? Or simply anti-WASP? (Are Mormons Protestant? Oh, let’s not get into arcane theological questions.)

While we’re picking on Deb, we may as well note that she (allegedly) fully intended to personally besmirch her purported friend and Dear Leader Barry, should he attempt to oust her from DNC leadership:

According to Politico, “when she sensed Obama was considering replacing her as chair in 2013, she began to line up supporters to suggest the move was both anti-woman and anti-Semitic.”

Now who would ever believe that Barry might be anti-Semitic or anti-woman?

Ok. So that story is about how those “British” teens went to Syria to join ISIS (as brides, I heard on TV this morning). They FLEW on planes, so what I want to know is what kind of security does the UK have, anyway? How is it even possible for MINORS to fly internationally without their parents’ permission, OR did they have their permission but nobody in the media bothered to ask, OR did they, like others we know, FORGE documents?

Here’s a new allegation never heard before (at least by me). Charles Johnson asks on Twitter:

Why did Obama join the gay club at Occidental College upon entrance in 1979?”

Now that would be a very good question if there’s something backing it up. Johnson has a lot of other questions and claims, including that he knows what classes Bar took at Oxy and Columbia. Hmm. OUT WITH IT, CHUCK!

Following in the steps of the Taliban, who destroyed the Buddhist statues at Bamiyan. This is for sure a solid argument AGAINST “repatriating” artifacts to the original country. Now world heritage (2100 years BEFORE muhammad) is being destroyed, AGAIN, by religious fanatics. BUT WAIT! Religion has nothing to do with it, so sayeth Barry.

They destroyed the treasures from the Biblical city of Ninevah.

  7. Compare and contrast. WHITE privilege? White and YELLOW punishment. Black and Brown privilege:

“In a windowless classroom at an Arcadia tutoring center, parents crammed into child-sized desks and dug through their pockets and purses for pens as Ann Lee launches a PowerPoint presentation.

Her primer on college admissions begins with the basics: application deadlines, the relative virtues of the SAT versus the ACT and how many Advanced Placement tests to take.

Then she eases into a potentially incendiary topic — one that many counselors like her have learned they cannot avoid.

“Let’s talk about Asians,” she says.

Lee’s next slide shows three columns of numbers from a Princeton University study that tried to measure how race and ethnicity affect admissions by using SAT scores as a benchmark. It uses the term “bonus” to describe how many extra SAT points an applicant’s race is worth. She points to the first column.

African Americans received a “bonus” of 230 points, Lee says.

She points to the second column.

“Hispanics received a bonus of 185 points.”

    The last column draws gasps.

Asian Americans, Lee says, are penalized by 50 points — in other words, they had to do that much better to win admission.

“Do Asians need higher test scores? Is it harder for Asians to get into college? The answer is yes,” Lee says. …”

No, Zenway. No. The enemy surely has infested every rank of our government, but I refuse to condemn ALL Jews. Kabbalists? Yes, They are of the devil, but how many Jews have you known, personally? Do you know any orthodox Jews? They may not recognize Jesus as messiah BUT THEY ARE NOT MEANT TO. There is supposed to be a remnant who convert when He comes again. The majority of God fearing Jews are conservative and Republican. They have more in common with Bible believing Christians then they do their secularist brethren. Are most secular Jews liberal? Yes, they are. Are most liberal Jews atheists? Yes, they are.

Jesus, need I remind you, was a Jewish rabbi. I agree with you more often than not, but this…….this I vehemently will argue against.

        zen-way? …

        • “The reason American Jews are liberal is because they tend to sympathize with the less fortunate and with minorities: like many black and Hispanic Americans, 54% of Jews believe government should be bigger, with more services, compared to just 40% of the public at large who believe the same. And 82% of Jews think that homosexuality should be accepted by society, while just 57% of the general public believes so.”

Wow. That’s some paragraph. How INSULTING is that to anyone who is not “liberal”? This writer assumes or at least implies that only “liberals” sympathize with the less fortunate and with minorities. It’s NOT the level of sympathy–it’s the method used to ADDRESS THE PROBLEMS.

After reading that article in full, now I wonder if many “Jews” who IDENTIFY as secular Jews do so only to claim the “victim” and “minority” status that goes along with being Jewish, if only in name. THAT would explain how they could vote for someone like BO.

      • Good words, RW. There are Jews and there are Jews. I often wonder exactly what “secular Jews” are. Are they atheists who are “culturally Jews” but not religiously Jews? In other words, they’re “Jewish” because their mothers were and their grandmothers were (and fathers and grandfathers)–TRADITION but not faith? Going through the motions, like how everybody, even if they’re not religious (and even Jews), put up Christmas trees and give gifts on Dec. 25? Mindlessly? I think that must be the case, because otherwise I cannot imagine how any Jewish person could vote for, much less stomach, Barack Obama.

There are evil beings of all “faiths”. How do we know? Well, all “faiths” are right there in the Obama administration. Pelosi? Axelrod? Jarrett? Not to mention Barry himself.

I’ve read all of the above and thank you for your willingness to look into it, Zen. I couldn’t open the Enten link because I would have to sign in through yet another link. It looks very interesting.

I will say that the vast majority of secular Jews are atheists who choose to uphold tradition, for some odd reason. I have friends across the spectrum. I know some very liberal Jews. I know some very conservative Jews. I know many conservative blacks. I know a few black people who will love POTUS, no matter what he does JUST because he is (purportedly) black. I know many conservative Christians and many liberal ones as well. The liberals disgust me, regardless of what “category” they fall under: Christian/Jew/Black/White/Hispanic. I have stopped debating and adhere to the adage, “Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.”

We posters at WTPOTUS agree 99.8% of the time, so an occasional disagreement……we’re only human.

AM VERY CURIOUS, Zen……if you don’t believe Jesus was a Jewish rabbi, what do you believe His origins are? He taught in synagogues. Both the Gospel Of Matthew and the Gospel of Luke very carefully trace His lineage. Although the lineages differ in the two gospels.

This is the explanation that resonates as to why – for me, anyway:

“Tracing a genealogy through the mother’s side is unusual, but so was the virgin birth. Luke’s explanation is that Jesus was the son of Joseph, “so it was thought” (Luke 3:23).” In other words, Matthew traced His geneaology through Mary and Luke through Joseph, His “legal” father/father of record.

Contrast and compare. Christ/Anti: and we’re still trying to figure out who the bastard in the WH’s real father is despite the claim as to who his “legal father/father of record” is. We know he is of his father, the devil despite what birth records might say. This much we all undoubtedly agree on!

            • So glad you used “purportedly” black, because I seriously doubt it, too. If it’s ever proved that he’s not black, that would be so totally “embarrassing” as to destroy the house of cards, Greek columns and all.

I think it’s perfectly sensible to trace genealogy though the mother’s line. It’s actually the one line that you can be CERTAIN of, if you get my drift (at least before DNA testing). In my genealogical pursuits, I’ve noticed that the men in the family put way more emphasis on the male line, while the women pursue all lines. Have you noticed that? Is the issue that Jews trace being “Jewish” through their mothers? It’s said that culture passes from a mother to her children, which seems to be true and makes sense, because children learn at their mother’s knee and so many family/cultural traditions are in the Mom’s “domain” (or at least were), such as food and holiday traditions, etc. Take a look at families you know where Mom and Dad come from different backgrounds, whether Irish and Japanese or black and white. Which “tradition” are the kids most in sync with? In my experience, it’s usually Mom’s, even if they know of and are proud of their father’s cultural traditions.

              • I was glad to see “purportedly” too! 🙂 No need for parenthesis! 😉

I was thinking maybe guys get hung up / focus on the male line because of “carrying on the name” which is moot these days. It was a good idea while it lasted.

Thanks everyone! We know he’s Arab/Muslim, not who/ what he claims to be.

I find it interesting that in the link you cite, Zen, iuses THE most pivotal verses proving Jesus as messiah. It clearly depicts the prophetic loathing of Jesus.and his eventual.demise. HOWEVER, just as God has set His timetable and we sit in absolute awe about being selected to watch the tribulation become reality, so too was Jesus intended to die for our sins. Although I have many of the Bible verses committed to memory, here is a good list of O/T prophecies and Jesus having fulfilled them.

Again, am VERY curious, Zen as to what you believe Jesus’s origins are, if not Jewish. TIA.

            • ~ Background ~ Kenya ~ ~ Clinton Richard Dawkins
Dawkins was born in Nairobi, Kenya on 26 March 1941. He is the son of Jean Mary Vyvyan (née Ladner) & Clinton John Dawkins (1915–2010), who was an agricultural civil servant in the British Colonial Service in Nyasaland (now Malawi). Dawkins considers himself English & currently lives in Oxford, England. Having been Born IN ….”Kenya” he IS
              a ….. “British citizen”. ( open up Kenya O’ …?? )

Dawkins father was called up into the King’s African Rifles during World War II; he returned to England in 1949, when Dawkins was 8. His father had inherited a country estate, Over Norton Park in Oxfordshire, which he turned into a commercial farm. Both his parents were interested in natural sciences; they answered Dawkins’s questions in scientific terms.

Dawkins describes his childhood as “a normal Anglican upbringing”. He was a Christian until 1/2 way through his teenage years, at which point he concluded that the theory of evolution was a better explanation for life’s complexity, & ceased believing in a god. Dawkins states: “the main residual reason why I was religious was from being so impressed with the complexity of life & feeling that it had to have a designer, & I think it was when I realised that Darwinism was a far superior explanation that pulled the rug out from under the argument of design. And that left me with nothing.”

                  • Interesting:

“Before 1983, as a general rule “Citizenship of the UK and Colonies” (CUKC) was transmitted automatically

Children born abroad after 1982 to a British mother or a British father before or after 1983

Those born abroad to a proven British father before or after 1983 … or born after 1982 to a British mother need not pay any nationality registration fees, undergo a good character check, or attend a civil ceremony as they are considered automatically British and can apply for a passport directly through the Identity and Passport Services (IPS). … Again, this only applies if the parents have been married or marry. If the parents were not married at the time of birth, then the child must apply before their 18th birthday to be registered at the Home Secretary’s discretion.

Now, since Barry’s campaign staff claimed that he WAS a British subject at birth and then later a Kenyan subject, this would seem to confirm (at least that they believe) that his parents were married legally.

                    • With regard to U.S. law:

                      “Eligibility for public office

A person who becomes a U.S. citizen through naturalization is not considered a natural born citizen. Consequently, naturalized U.S. citizens are not eligible to become President of the United States or Vice President of the United States, which would ordinarily be the case as established by the Presidential Succession Act. For example, though the Secretary of Commerce and the Secretary of Labor are tenth and eleventh in the presidential line of succession, Elaine Chao and Carlos Gutierrez (respectively former U.S. Secretaries of Labor and Commerce under President George W. Bush) would have been unable to succeed to the presidency because they became U.S. citizens through naturalization. The highest-ranking naturalized citizens to have been excluded from the Presidential Line of Succession were Henry Kissinger and Madeleine Albright, each of whom would have been fourth in line as Secretary of State had they been natural born citizens.

Whether this restriction applies to children born to non-U.S. citizens but adopted as minors by U.S. citizens is a matter of some debate, since the Child Citizenship Act of 2000 is ambiguous as to whether acquisition of citizenship by that route is to be regarded as naturalized or natural-born. [This law would obviously NOT apply to Barry, anyway, seeing as he’s obviously older than 15.] Those who argue that the restriction does not apply point out that the child automatically becomes a citizen even though violating every single requirement of eligibility for naturalization, and thus the case falls closer to the situation of birth abroad to U.S. citizens than to naturalization. This interpretation is in concert with the wording of the Naturalization Act of 1790, that “the children of citizens of the United States that may be born beyond the sea, or out of the limits of the United States, shall be considered as natural born citizens”, [That freaking law was REPEALED.] which does not draw a distinction between biological children and adopted children, even though the process of adoption was certainly well known at the time. …

Some argue that the phrase “natural born citizen” describes a category of citizenship distinct from that described by the phrase “U.S. Citizen” in Article Two of the United States Constitution, and this was discussed during the constitutional convention of 1787.[24] While it is true that “natural born citizen” is not defined anywhere within the text of the Constitution and that the Constitution makes use of the phrase “citizen” and “natural born citizen”, Supreme Court Decisions from United States v. Wong Kim Ark to the present have considered the distinction to be between natural-born and naturalized citizenship. …”

Note the part about children adopted abroad by citizens and their reference to the law of 1790. The OBOTS PERSIST IN CITING THAT LAW WHICH WAS REPEALED 5 YEARS LATER SPECIFICALLY TO CHANGE “NATURAL BORN CITIZENSHIP” TO NATURALIZED CITIZENSHIP, deliberately excluding naturalized people from public office. The DANGER was duly noted at the time, which is WHY the 1790 law was repealed and replaced, BUTT THAT’S WHY THE OBOTS DELIBERATELY CITE A NOW-IRRELEVANT LAW. The relevant law:

“… conferring the status of citizen and not natural born citizen.” SO THERE IS A DISTINCT DIFFERENCE, which, if the Wikipedia obots would note, if they had any intellectual honesty. They cite a repealed law on “natural born citizenship” and IGNORE the law that replaced it, which deliberately delineated two categories of citizens, one of which are NOT NATURAL BORN citizens. They say it’s debatable and “some” believe natural born citizens inhabit a distinct category. THEY DO AND THE 1795 LAW PROVES IT.

Ah, then you believe it’s a fable. As I wrote, we all agree 97-98.8% of the time and that’s good enough for me!

Personally, I do see Bible prophecy unfolding in absolute awe. For books which were written millenniums ago, those books sure were accurate regarding the circumstances and time we find ourselves living through. To be fair, I am also equally certain people felt the same during and in in the aftermath of WW II. But my personal faith and certainty about the days we’re living in…..unshakable. To each their own, Zenway.

I also believe, and this is not meant to sound elitist AT ALL, certain people were intended to have “eyes to see/ears to hear”. After all, there have to be some people left to be convinced. 😉

BTW, there certainly are a lot of interesting people whose roots are in Kenya. 😉

Very curious story. At the top of his game. Suddenly dies of a “self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.” Look at his resume. He planned to challenge Claire McCaskill for the Senate in the next election. Correction: Originally it was rumored McCaskill would run for governor of MO and Schweich planned to run for that office; then McCaskill said she’d run for Senate again. Nixon can’t run again, but the Dems want to keep the MO governorship. They also want to keep the Senate seat. He was Barry’s age, born in Oct. 1960, and was a graduate of Harvard Law. Don’t know the year he graduated, though.

  14. more on …dead men don’t …talk…. any-MO’ (guns-life-etc.) ^^^

    • He was a friend of John Bolton, which means he was most likely very conservative AND wouldn’t have been fond of Barry or his tactics. The man easily won reelection and would have been most likely to keep the Dems from keeping the MO governorship, if Schweich had won the Rep. nomination. I’m not so sure Catherine Hanaway (the probable candidate now) will beat the Democrat candidate. Schweich was talking to reporters on the phone only 13 minutes before he is said to have shot himself. WHY? What did he have to say to them, why did he change his mind, and why did he instead kill himself rather than meeting with the media? There was only one other person in the home at the time, and radio hosts suggest it was his wife, but … I can’t help but think of Vince Foster.

    • It’s very suspicious. The local reporter is a notorious Obama, Muslim, and DemoncRAT lover. He’s editor of the opinion page at that paper, which is a notorious progressive rag. HE’S the one who was in contact with the deceased over this alleged “anti-Semitic” remark that the man in question doesn’t even remember making. He did remember incorrectly thinking that Schweich was Jewish and mentioning it, but not in any negative way. He was working at the time for a Catholic candidate and believe me, in rural MO, Catholics are more likely to be held in suspicion than are Jewish people. Evangelicals such as are in rural MO support Israel and Jewish causes. It would make no sense to try to play any “anti-Semitic” card in order to curry favor for a Catholic politician. BUTT, that local reporter could very well be involved in hyping up false charges of “anti-Semitism” and sowing DISCORD amongst the Republicans in MO. IT’S WHAT THEY DO. It is highly unlikely that Schweich would have been friends with a guy like that reporter. Read between the lines of the article the reporter wrote about how he got voice mail from the deceased only 7 minutes before he allegedly killed himself. It would be very much in the interest of the DemoncRATS and the current administration to keep somebody like Schweich out of the MO governor’s office, especially since he was a “watchdog” and a go-getter who exposed corruption. Nixon has a lot of skeletons that might be uncovered in the future. Add to that that Schweich was a friend of and worked with John Bolton during the Bush administration with particular emphasis on AFGHANISTAN and the DRUG TRADE there. What might he know? Hmmm. And then he was an investigator when Reno torched the Branch Davidians. None of this makes sense.

  15. RIP ❤

“… The IRS’s inspector general confirmed Thursday it is conducting a criminal investigation into how Lois G. Lerner’s emails disappeared, saying it took only two weeks for investigators to find hundreds of tapes the agency’s chief had told Congress were irretrievably destroyed.

Investigators have already scoured 744 backup tapes and gleaned 32,774 unique emails, but just two weeks ago they found an additional 424 tapes that could contain even more Lerner emails, Deputy Inspector General Timothy P. Camus told the House Oversight Committee in a rare late-night hearing meant to look into the status of the investigation.

“There is potential criminal activity,” Mr. Camus said. [Hmm. Why do I feel as if this will turn out like Condi Rice’s investigation of Barry’s passport file breach did? Or will they nail some very low-level fall guy to the wall?]

He said they have also discovered the hard drives from the IRS’s email servers, but said because the drives are out of synch it’s not clear whether they will be able to recover anything from them.

“To date we have found 32,744 unique emails that were backed up from Lois Lerner’s email box. We are in the process of comparing these emails to what the IRS has already produced to Congress to determine if we did in fact recover any new emails,” Mr. Camus said. …”

“On the Peter Boyles Show on Friday morning, the former Lt. Col. Terry Lakin, now Dr. Terry Lakin, told Boyles that after he questioned Barack Hussein Obama’s eligibility for office while serving as a medical doctor in the U.S. Army, several congressmen told him that they also “didn’t know, either” who Obama is.

Lakin said his refusal to deploy a second time to Afghanistan was made after he had questioned his military commanders in writing about Obama’s eligibility, and, receiving no response, then went to members of Congress. “I met with them; I said, ‘I don’t know who my commander-in-chief is,’ and the answers I got were, ‘We don’t, either; the media never went over this and we don’t know what to do about it.” …”

However, those unnamed Congressmen apparently didn’t LOVE THEIR COUNTRY ENOUGH to do anything or even SAY anything about it. NOW look where we are.

    • btw, I did listen to that Sheriff Joe audio at BR and it was very disappointing. He has nothing on the identity of the forger and he’s not pursuing the fake draft registration. So WHAT is the “earth-shattering info?” Who knows?

Why is that? When did HE ask OUR permission to have immoral people like that contaminating OUR property?

  19. This is a request for information not related to anything here but how safe is it to walk on foot from econolodge in Glendale CA to a conference center at 412 w Broadway, Glendale CA? Son’s boss planned a business trip there for him in the near future and expects him to walk the two miles to and fro each day. I always thought econlodges were dives but this one gets 4 stars in reviews. Like, the google pics of the place don’t look that well of a rating, either. He does not have funds to rent a car or taxi. No shuttle from hotel to conference center. He and his wife are uncomfortable with him going and doing this. Looks like bus may be available but around here, in these times, most are no longer comfortable on the buses. Don’t know how it would be in a big city in CA. So, maybe someone around here knows a thing or two to ease their apprehension or validate their fears. Thanks

    • Don’t know much about CA, WAH. Sorry. I read up on Wikipedia about it, though, and it sounds like an okay place. Not particularly dangerous, it seems: This one ranks crime: (Less crime than Beverley Hills!) You might look on Google Earth or Google Maps (street view) and kind of “walk” the route and see what it looks like. If it’s the downtown area, then there’s probably a lot of people out and about during the day. Gosh. Do they even have sidewalks in places like that, where everybody drives? Two miles is a pretty good walk. The boss sounds like a regular cheapskate. Won’t they pay his expenses?
