Saturday is Flag Day.
In the United States, Flag Day is celebrated on June 14. It commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States, which happened on that day in 1777 by resolution of the Second Continental Congress.
The United States Army also celebrates the Army Birthday on this date; Congress adopted “the American continental army” after reaching a consensus position in the Committee of the Whole on June 14, 1775.

What’s sad is that all the achievements in Iraq are going down the tubes. All the sacrifices–down the tubes. Barry has thrown it all away (by design) of course. Wagging the dog today? I wonder, except that he’s OFF TO PALM SPRINGS to fund raise and play golf while his “national security team” studies out whatever he can do to help the Iraqis–stayed tuned until Monday, when Iraq will probably be too far gone so that any help would be useless, anyway. Yesterday I heard someone on radio say that Barry’s in a “sprint to the finish line” as his last two years in office wind down. Sure looks like it.

Back into it in Afghanistan and into it in Iraq, where under secular Saddam they had some modicum of freedom.
IRAN will come to the rescue, it’s said. More power for IRAN. We’ll become more dependent upon them, too, and the Saudis. The left cares nothing about these women of the Middle East, just so long as they can succeed in undoing what GWB and all our brave men and women in the Armed Forces accomplished.

If people do not agree with mosque leadership, they will stay away rather than engage in an argument with them, said Saleem Ahmed, a Honolulu businessman who endured a similar bout of official wrath two years ago when he published “Beyond the Veil and Holy War,” which strays from fundamentalist teaching. Cooke developed a lifelong interest in the Tarot at the age of nine when he mistakenly bought a Tarot deck instead of regular playing cards.[2] John travelled to mainland USA (particularly to San Francisco) many times with his mother before her death in 1933.[3]
John’s sister Alice married Democrat politician and lawyer Roger Kent in 1930. They lived at Kentfield, California in Marin County of San Francisco, and after Lily’s death, Alice took on a mothering role for the young John. John continued to travel regularly from Honolulu to San Francisco through the 1930s.[3] At 19, Cooke employed the Ouija board at Kentfield with Alice Kent (who was also mystically inclined).[2] He would continue to use the Ouija board for at least the next thirty years.

At the end of his speech to the chamber, where the Honduran head of state discussed his nation’s short- and long-term investment projects with U.S. businesses, Hernández seemed to blame the U.S. for the crisis – saying a lack of immigration reform and weak drug laws has contributed to the problem.
It is unfair, he said, for his nation to tackle the surge of migrant unaccompanied children alone.
“We are very worried about the children, but sadly this is a security problem provoked by drug trafficking from the drugs that are consumed by the US, and this has had an impact in the displacement situation (of Hondurans,)” Hernández, who took office in January, told Fox News Latino. “The U.S. has to be more proactive (with the immigration reform) because these separations are inhumane.”

Is Barry trying to push a confrontation with Texas and AZ governors to get them to call out the national guard to patrol the border? He’s waiting for an excuse. It isn’t a matter of them thinking we’re stupid; it’s a matter of them (apparently) KNOWING that we’re helpless. What can be done about these “lost” emails? They circumvent the law and LAUGH, SMIRK, SNARK about it because they KNOW they’ll get away with it. Amoral people always believe they’re smarter because there’s NOTHING to hold them back. There’s no conscience there and so they always have an edge on people who have morals, ethics, and consciences. With this complicit, lily-livered Congress, what can be done? Nothing. They have figured out how to game the system. Do what they want and run out the clock. Lie as necessary. Lie more as that lie unravels. Lose documents. Have them eaten by bugs or destroyed in floods or misplaced or destroyed by non-existent policy, etc. It has worked so far, so why would they change? What’s Congress going to do now, about the accidentally missing emails? The lie doesn’t even have to be plausible. ALL it has to be is something that the media will obediently repeat and that the “low-information” voters will accept and that the complicit politicians will repeat to us, with straight faces. Chaffetz suggests the IRS guy LIED UNDER OATH by claiming earlier that the emails WERE “archived”. So lied then or lied now. Either way, it’s a CRIME. Isn’t it? There should be logs of computer down time. There are SURELY backups (multiple ones) of ALL government documents such as emails. Otherwise, that’s probably a crime, too, if they’re missing. Maybe it’s like the missing 18 minutes of Nixon tape. That was a crime, too. Turning off the machine or erasing the tapes. I saw Bernstein on TV this morning. What a clown. Years later, still acting as if his reporting on Nixon was the coup of the last 100 years. Barry makes Watergate look like child’s play, but there’s Bernstein–calling Watergate the biggest scandal ever. It’s ridiculous. Right under his nose these atrocities happen. Could he come out of retirement, maybe, and go for another prize? Please?
