I knew a guy with a neck like that once. It was because he’d broken his neck and spent over a year wearing one of those steel neck braces that sits on the shoulders and the top of which screws right into the skull. If they remove the hoops, they die because their weakened neck bones can’t support their skulls. This, however, is totally unlikely.
Can you look for anybody named Okubo (like Hugo Okubo), Onaka, Suganuma, Sunahara? Virginia Sunahara’s dad was a war hero. Hugo Okubo was a big shot in the commie party and journalism. Suganuma was a big shot in the unions. Fukino, too, maybe? I don’t know what kind of folks are in those books, but it’s possible any of these could show up.

We’ve been attending the Easter Vigil at church on Sat. evening. The weather was beautiful yesterday as well,
sounds beautiful.i hate to sour things but it’s been rainy and blowin for days , tomorrow cloudy, but better. Watched an old bible story this morning with Barnabus. Did some guitar practice/playing with my husband and my son called. He’s far away in school. Called loved ones. I miss my family, as none of them are near.
Alfy, we had snow on Monday!, and today it was in the 80’s! I’ll be cutting asparagus from the garden tomorrow. What a difference a week makes.
Spring seems to have finally arrived here in IL!

It doesn’t take me long to get tired of hot weather, though. Seems like there’s no in between. It’s either cold or too danged hot.
I miss my family, too, alfy. Saw some of them, but many are far away and too many are now deceased.
Happy Easter, Cynic. Too early for mosquitoes, too. It was pretty glorious. I’m exhausted AND stuffed to the gills.

I missed the first half hour but listened to the last half hour. The only thing that I heard that was new was that Volin says he knows some Congress members who were prepared to act, but he told them to hold off and wait until after the “universe shattering” information comes out. Some time. Yep. Let’s all just wait while the country goes down the tubes.
