    What to make of this from comment:
    “Not sure where to put this, we need a “fact checking the many bombing-related stories” thread. A guy from TX reportedly “survived” or “witnessed” (depending on the report) both Boston bombings and the Texas fertilizer plant explosion.

    Seconds after Joe Berti, 43, crossed the finish line of the Boston Marathon, the first bomb exploded.

    Berti’s official finish time was 3:56:24. The first bomb didn’t detonate until 4:09:44. It’s disingenuous to describe that time difference as “seconds”. And considering that most runners depart quite quickly after they finish a marathon, it’s questionable whether or not he was even in the vicinity at the time the bomb detonated.

    And then there’s the matter of his location with respect to the Texas explosion at West:

    On Wednesday night, Joe was driving home near Waco, Texas, when he saw — and felt — the West fertilizer plant explosion.

    The marathon results page and LinkedIn show Berti’s home as “Austin”. Google maps says Austin is 120 miles from West. I suppose he could see the light from the explosion, but again it seems disingenuous to imply that there was any sort of close call, that he was “near” Waco or West.”

      This is a new meme in the lamestream: “amateur sleuths”, as in the ones who “falsely” tagged that Brown U. student as a suspect. Except that, iirc, that was based upon something overheard on police radio, so who made the false attribution?

      The writer is such an ass, alleging that people identified any “brown skinned” person with a backpack, and yet, the blue robe guy is NOT brown and many of the OTHER guys that were identified are also not “brown”, such as the guy with the brown sweatshirt! In his photo 4, if you ask me, only ONE of these guys looks “brown” skinned and since he looks like an Arab, then he’s technically “white”.

    I didn’t find anything (else) of interest in this video (haven’t watched it all), but right around 7:34 minutes in there is some helicopter footage of the marathon finish line and the sounds in the background are very, very familiar. I don’t know what it means, but I thought it worth sharing.

      I think I found something potentially suspicious, but I need some second opinions. Nicole Gross is identified as the woman in the red and black top who is sitting up looking dazed in many of the photos. Her husband is Michael and there are stories about them in the Boston and Charlotte news. In this series of photos, there is a young, tall bald man in a dark gray jacket/sweatshirt and jeans walking around the scene with a camera (but I don’t see him taking photos in any). If you compare to the published photos of Michael Gross it is a very close resemblance. He says he couldn’t find his wife after the bombing, until they both ended up in the hospital. In a couple of these photos “he” appears to look right at her.
      Even if it is not him, he is one of many “bystanders” who appear to mill about the scene not doing anything to help…like the woman in the pink vest and the one in the brown sweatshirt.

        God help these people.

        Did you see where the woman with the yellow hijab is being helped away from the scene – its in the early shots and you can still see smoke – and then later she is at the scene again but this time she’s appears to be kneeling among a group people tending to an injured person though they are looking elsewhere.

        then, we have JB laying alone with no one attending to him though he is blown to bits and later he’s being wheeled out with his legs exposed. There are sheets and ambulances, but nothing for him. I cannot imagine that they picked someone up in his condition from the ground and put him in a wheel chair. I don’t think he was cared for properly. No way, no how.

        yes, I see that – and she just sits there unattended. You can see men standing right behind her facing the opposite direction. And yes, the woman with the pink vest… then there is the lady in the hounds tooth coat also…

          Thanks for looking, Papoose. I’ll check out the hijab lady. I’ve noticed her before but not that she reappears. And the houndstooth coat lady, yes I meant to mention her! She walks around looking horrified in different areas of the “scene” but never helps or gets out of the way. That’s odd behavior to me. I can understand the person who is so overcome they can’t help, or afraid to help, etc (I don’t know,that might be me in a situation like that) but the impulse would then be to get out of the way, leave, whatever. Now that I’ve noticed him the “Michael Gross” guy is particularly odd.

            yes, and apparently Boston only has one ambulance in the entire city.

            did you notice the girl with the black jacket / red and white blouse being carried (the guy with the gun is in front of her) – she has a tourniquet on her leg and in the next shot she is laying on a pristine stretcher with clean sheets? But the guy JB who is blown up gets pushed in a wheel chair. check it out.

          Thanks Miri, good to have you back 🙂 If you want to remove the link to the video above I would not be offended. That’s a pretty graphic photo to have up constantly. The only thing in that video I was referring to was that there is helicopter footage of Boston and the background noise is that exact same “alarm” sound that we couldn’t figure out in the Sandy Hook helicopter vids. Remember?

            That does sound like the same alarm sound from the helicopter. Is that to lend it realism? I wonder if it was a drone.
