I wonder: Will Michelle Obama be “heartbroken” over the death of little Antonio Santiago? Will she attend little Antonio’s funeral with Valerie Jarrett, as she did for Hadiya Pendleton? Will she sit next to Antonio’s mother, comforting her with her presence? Will her husband, Barack Obama, speak out about this “tragedy?”

Will he say something like this to the world?
If I had a son, he’d look like [Antonio]. I think [Antonio’s parents] are right to expect that all of us as Americans are going to take this with the seriousness it deserves, and we are going to get to the bottom of exactly what happened. …
I can only imagine what these parents are going through, and when I think about this [infant], I think about my own kids, and I think every parent in America should be able to understand why it is absolutely imperative that we investigate every aspect of this, and that everybody pulls together — federal, state and local — to figure out exactly how this tragedy happened. …
I think all of us have to do some soul searching to figure out how does something like this happen. And that means we examine the laws and the context for what happened, as well as the specifics of the incident.
The above paraphrases what Obama said after the death of Trayvon Martin, at the hands of a man who shot Martin in self defense. Will Obama say anything at all about the horrific death of little Antonio Santiago? Will he call Antonio’s family, extending his personal sympathy?
As the Obamas did for Hadiya Pendleton, will they write a letter like this to Antonio’s family?
Michelle and I just wanted you to know how heartbroken we are to have heard about [Antonio’s] passing. We know that no words from us can soothe the pain, but rest assured that we are praying for you, and that we will continue to work as hard as we can to end this senseless violence. God Bless.
In case you don’t know, little Antonio Santiago was murdered in cold blood, allegedly by two teen-aged thugs while they were robbing Antonio’s mother at gunpoint: [emphasis added]
Georgia police Friday charged two teens with murder a day after a 13-month-old boy was shot dead in his stroller and his mother wounded during a holdup.
Seventeen-year-old De’Marquise Kareem Elkins, the suspected gunman, was charged as an adult with first-degree murder, said Brunswick Police Chief Tobe Green. A 14-year-old companion was also charged with murder but was not identified because he is a juvenile. They were arrested early Friday.
Sherry West said she and her 13-month-old son, Antonio Santiago, were on a walk about 9 a.m. Thursday when they were approached by two young men. The older teen brandished a handgun and demanded money.
After telling him she didn’t have any money, the gunman then asked, “Do you want me to kill your baby?” West told the Associated Press.
West said he fired the first shot into the ground, then shot her in the left ear and upper left leg. The gunman then walked around the stroller and shot her child once in the face, killing him instantly.
Antonio Santiago, only 13 months old when his life was brutally taken, was the most innocent of innocents. His life was callously snuffed out by a thug with what is likely an illegal gun, in the course of another illegal act–armed robbery–early in the morning, when both of the suspects ought to have been in school.
It should not matter that the alleged shooter is black and the victims are not. Antonio’s mother is white; his father, Luis Santiago, is likely hispanic, although that’s not specifically reported in the stories referenced here. The unnamed juvenile suspect is reported to be black, as well.
It should not matter what race the alleged suspects are, but unfortunately it does matter. A senseless crime like this should outrage all of us equally, but unfortunately …
The race of the perpetrator and the race of the victim matter because, as exemplified by our First Couple, reactions are too often selective and discriminating.
Empathy offered or completely absent …
Heartfelt condolences expressed or silence …
This cold-blooded, horrific murder took place two and a half days ago. So far, there’s been “no comment” that I can find coming from either of the Obamas.
What remains to be seen is whether or not the usual race-baiting suspects like Al Sharpton will come to the defense of the alleged murderers, crying out that they’ve been railroaded during a “rush to judgment” by racists cops and a white woman who misidentified an innocent “child”.

North Korea said on Tuesday its strategic rocket and long-range artillery units have been ordered to be combat ready, targeting U.S. military bases on Guam, Hawaii and mainland America after U.S. bombers flew sorties threatening the North.
The order, issued in a statement from the North’s military “supreme command”, marks the latest fiery rhetoric from Pyongyang since the start of joint military drills by U.S. and South Korean forces early this month.
South Korea’s defense ministry said it saw no sign of imminent military action by North Korea.

Here’s an update on that controversy over whether or not the State of MO is sharing driver’s license and concealed carry information with DHS and a well-connected vendor in an attempt to compile a back door gun registration list. btw, the Dept. of Revenue said they’re not doing this but they weren’t telling the whole truth, so there’s now a subpoena. The state Senator originally requested the information, but they wouldn’t supply it. Now they must (we hope). Remember: There’s a specific MO law forbidding the Dept. of Revenue to comply with the federal “Real ID Act”.

This is so disturbing.
Earlier this month Missouri Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder held a press conference to expose the backdoor gun registration operation in Missouri. Kinder accused the Missouri Department of Revenue of working with the Department of Homeland Security to install new hardware and software to obtain data on Missouri citizens and transfer this information to DHS and unnamed third parties. The last state senator to use his subpoena power was then state senator now Governor Jay Nixon.
The Department of Revenue denied the claims.
Yesterday, Missouri state Senator Kurt Shaefer subpoenaed the the Missouri Department of Revenue to produce all documents between the Department of Revenue and any federal agency, including but not limited to, the Department of Homeland Security or FEMA, regarding driver’s license and ID information of Missouri citizens.
Senator Shaefer said this about the suspected privacy abuses, “This is one of the most appalling abuses of privacy rights I have encountered in state government. I can not and will not allow unelected bureaucrats to erode the rights of Missourians.” …”
I did a bunch of research on the third-party company that’s the middle man, keeping these records on all of us. They have disturbing connections to George Tenet, France, GE, the CIA, and CHINA, and other potential police states to be implemented by technological spying.
Oklahoma Passes Bill Prohibiting UN’s Agenda 21

We reported earlier that Oklahoma passed a bill that nullified Obamacare. It prohibited any official from imposing federal mandates associated with Obamacare inside the state of Oklahoma. Now, they’ve taken it a step further and are hoping to prohibit international mandates coming from the United Nations. Thanks to grassroots pressure, the majority of Oklahoma’s state house voted to pass the measure, which aims to protect residents’ private property rights, especially as they relate to the United Nations’ Agenda 21.

Agenda 21 is all about environmental control. It seeks to ration natural resources in the same way that Obamacare will ration healthcare. Energy will be rationed based on the assumption that our government owns all resources including food, water and land. Local Agenda 21 initiatives will mandate certain appliances and outlaw others based on energy consumption, and your energy consumption will be monitored so that you don’t “go over your limit.” Homes and buildings will have to be built or rebuilt to meet new “green” building codes or else face hefty fines. It seeks to transition citizens away from rural areas and into cities. It wants to “wean” people off private vehicles (because of “dirty” fossil fuels) and have them start using public transportation like high-speed rail. Outdoor recreational activities will be restricted because those practices are not “sustainable.”
“Social justice” means the abolition of private property. It’s not fair that individuals own land or property. What will make it fair is if it is collectively owned. The United Nations wants to mandate global communism. They just don’t call it that. They call it “social justice.” And they’re going to execute “social justice” through “sustainable development.”

I think today is the last day of the UN’s arms trade treaty days…it started around the 18th-27th or 28th. I have to go marbelize two columns today, so I won’t have time to check out what came out of the UN’s despicable decisions for the World’s compliance. See what you can find out you guys. I imagine Obama has been working in lockstep since he got elected. I read a rather long piece from Rand Paul back in January or February on this and Rand Paul called Obama “the fake President”in that piece. Was going to post it but it was quite long. Good news, and bad news.
During the Senate’s passing of their (congressional budget) Concurrent Resolution 8 on March 23, Oklahoma Senator James Inhofe successfully inserted Senate amendment 139 to “prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.” …
In a 53-49 vote, the Senate passed Inhofe’s amendment. The list of Yeas and Nays is what’s important going forward, and contains both good news and a warning.

Now the bad news: Joe Manchin has been working with Senator Schumer on universal background checks. This is an important step towards federal registration, since Senator Schumer’s bill requires permanent retention of sales records. Senator Tom Coburn, the other Oklahoma senator, has also interacted with Schumer, and has stated that “enhanced” background checks are “the right thing to do.”
Montana Senator Max Baucus claims he’s against the Schumer bill, but Baucus voted against passing Inhofe’s UN Treaty ban.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid also voted against Inhofe’s amendment, and is already promoting a gun control package that includes universal background checks. In 2010, Reid was graded “B” by the NRA, but now he’s acting like a Brady endorsee.
The last bit of good news is: If the other seven Democrats voting against the UN treaty hold true to the Second Amendment, none of the Reid/Schumer gun control bills will pass the Senate.
Now it’s your job to contact your senators, and keep this momentum going.”

CNN recently sent reporter Gary Tuchman from the show ‘Andersson Cooper 360’ to Hawaii to find evidence that president Obama was born there.
While there, he quickly discovered an announcement in the birth columns of the local paper of a Stig Waidelich who was born in the same hospital the day after Obama.
“They then tried to track me down to compare my son’s birth certificate to the one provided by Obama,” Danielsson said.
According to CNN the whole matter is complicated because the governor of Hawaii is not legally able to release the original certificate.
But now ‘the CNN investigation showed that the ‘certification of live birth’ released by President Obama in 2008 is the same certificate that is issued to every Hawaiian’, according to a statement from CNN.
Through Monica Danielsson, CNN obtained a certificate for her son Stig, to compare to president Obama’s.
According to CNN, the document given to Stig from the Department of Health is the same exact document that President Obama has released.
“Stig, who no longer has his original birth certificate, can use this document for any court proceedings and any legal purposes”, CNN said in a statement.

The article says that Tuchman “discovered” Stig’s name in the birth columns of a local paper? Really? What birth announcements might those be? Is it the fictitious birth announcement page that was planted but can’t be found by anyone even for a reward? Then they just happened to know Monica Danielson and got a certificate for her son, Stig.

Stig Waidelich was born just hours after Obama in August 1961. Like Obama, Waidelich’s birth was announced at the time in the Honolulu Star Bulletin newspaper. Now compare the names and numbers issued.

The letters O & the N twins are are only 4 numbers off; and the two letters of their names are close. ( W) aidelich’s number and surname letter is way down the alphabet and born only hours after Obama and his number is not even close to the others. While not conclusive it is reasonable looking at this the certificate number was issued by the main office in batches by Surname and date.

Felix is full of it, as butterdezillion proved. The birth certificates were numbered in batches, by city, by date and time of birth. So that’s how she deduced that the number Barry uses is really Stig’s.

(AP) — The lawyer for one of the Georgia teenagers charged with murder in the shooting death of a baby who was in his stroller on a walk with his mother said Monday his client is “absolutely” not guilty. “My client is absolutely, 1,000-percent not guilty,” public defender Kevin Gough, who represents 17-year-old De’Marquise Elkins, told the Associated Press. He made the comments Monday, while preparing for Elkins’ first court appearance on a murder charge. It was scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday. Gough said he has demanded a bond hearing and filed a request for a speedy trial for Elkins. “We look forward to our day in court,” he said.
The slain boy’s mother said she picked the gunman out of a photo lineup of 24 mugshots police brought to her Friday and insists he killed her baby.

Butterdezillion ….
Basically this is what we learned before: There’s a provision in Hawaii law that allows the HDOH to created new birth certificates for someone upon the application of a law enforcement official. butterdezillion says that the law says nothing about the legal status of that document but that the original remains intact in the files; in other words, it’s not replaced by the new certificate, as happens with an adoption. It seems to me that the law also doesn’t allow for this to be done UNLESS the person HAS an original in the files, with a number on it, because the law speaks about giving the bogus, newly-created BC a “NEW” number. New implies there is an old number. Of course it would need a number in order to remain in the files, so in essence the person has two bc’s on file. I can understand this in a situation like witness protection, where a person needs a new identity. The law also, however, allows them to create a new bc for someone who has a SEX CHANGE, among other reasons. However, the law doesn’t appear to give the HDOH the authority to change BC#s for people like Virginia Sunahara, who is DEAD. She can’t be at personal risk (like the law requires) so it appears they have no authority to take her number and give it to someone else. If I understand butterdezillion’s theory, Stig had the 10641 number originally, from 1961. Virginia’s was later. IF they created a new BC for Barry with a new number, then it probably would be the very last number for the year 1961. This Ah Nee person APPEARS to now “own” that number, inherited from Barry, with Stig’s being given to Barry, while Virginia’s (I think) was given to Stig (or maybe there was someone else in the mix). She says 4 of 6 known from 1961, so far, have been shown to have their numbers modified. So perhaps I’m missing one person, but the theory is that they had to bump the numbers along for several reasons: To make Barry’s look plausible and to hide the fact that his “original” was recently created. I THINK!

He was also indicted on two counts in a second attempted robbery and shooting that happened 10 days before the baby was slain. According to CBS:
On March 11, according to the indictment, Elkins tried to rob a person identified as Wilfredo Calix-Flores, pointing a gun at him while demanding his cellphone and wallet. Elkins shot Calix-Flores in the arm with the same caliber revolver used to kill the baby 10 days later, the indictment says. He is charged with attempted robbery and assault with a deadly weapon. …”

After his family denied that he was involved with the shooting of a 1-year-old child, the mother and aunt of De’Marquise Elkins were arrested in connection with the case.
GlobalGrind spoke with police today to confirm that the family members, who were arrested on felony charges of lying to the police, were picked up this morning.
The mother, Karimah Aisha Elkins, 36, and aunt, Katrina Latrelle Elkins, 33, were booked into the Glynn County jail before 9 a.m., according to Ron Corbett, undersheriff of the Glynn County Sheriff’s Office. Initally, Karima Elkins had told police that her nephew was with her on the morning that the 13-month-old baby was murdered, therefore, he could not have committed the crime.
Both women posted $1,104 bail on the charges. …”

Daughter Of Georgia Mom Whose Baby Was Killed Claims Mom May Have Killed Him For Insurance Money

The case surrounding the murder of 13-month-old Antonio Santiago continues to take unexpected twists and turns.

Ashley Glassey, 21, daughter of Sherry West, the mother of a 13-month old baby who was allegedly shot by De’Marquise Elkins while they were out for a morning stroll, believes that her mother may have killed the baby for the insurance money, reports First Coast News.
Glassy says that her mother lost custody of her when she was 8-years-old but they have spoken regularly since 13-month old Antonio Santiago was fatally shot in the face. According to Glassy, her mother’s story has changed several times.
First Coast News reports: Glassey said she started to have her doubts after receiving a phone call from her mother telling her that her brother, Antonio Santiago, had been killed. She claims the night of the shooting her mother asked, “How soon do you think life insurance policy will send me a check?” Glassey tells First Coast News she hopes her suspicions are wrong but based on conversations with her mother she’s not sure. Glassey described their discussions by saying her mother is crying one minute and then sounds fine the next. “I spoke with the detectives and investigators and the evidence leads to many witnesses, not just me,” said Sherry West, mother of the 13-month-old that was killed last Thursday morning.
Glassey says her mother is bipolar and has schizophrenic tendencies. She believes her mother is on medication but could not tell me any prescriptions specifically. “She changed her story she told me the baby was shot first and then she told me she was shot first,” said Glassey. “They shot my baby in the head and I had to watch him die and I want that boy to die.”
Glassey said she has contacted the Brunswick Police Department and no one has called her back. First Coast News contacted police to ask why, buy have yet to receive a response. Police have not suggested that Sherry West is a suspect in this case. Two teens are currently facing the murder charges.

Who put the daughter up to recording her mother’s conversation and who first brought up life insurance? Isn’t that just too convenient?
Did the mom actually say here that her daughter has had “communications” with the defendants? So were these perps’ lawyers trolling for dirt on the mom?
So now victims of crime will be put on trial to prove that THEY are not on psychiatric drugs but alleged perps (like Holmes and Lanza) have the right to not have to reveal their prescription drug use? Amazing stuff.
Remember how with Lanza, the media went out of their way to say that people with Asperger’s Syndrome aren’t violent? Where’s their concern for tarring all people who have schizophrenia? Is anybody who’s a victim of a crime, who also happens to have a psychiatric problem, now to be investigated and disbelieved because of the illness? Isn’t the media concerned that this is going to create negative stereotypes about people living with mental illness? Playing devil’s advocate here and using their own attitudes and typical types of language against them. My biggest pet peeve is the hypocrisy of the media, their BIAS.
Selective concern for stigmatizing versus not stigmatizing, wouldn’t you say? That woman did strike me as odd, the first time I saw her; but isn’t it interesting that THIS WOMAN is the subject of lamestream stories about HER oddity, her ALLEGED changing stories, her changeable affect, and yet we see NO SIMILAR STORIES IN THE LAMESTREAM QUESTIONING THE LACK OF EMOTION or CHANGING AFFECT (Robbie Parker?) with regard to Sandy Hook parents? Interesting, huh?
No investigation, either, into the histories of the Sandy Hook parents, particularly Heslin, which might influence how somebody would view his credibility. Not to mention the shaky finances of many of the Sandy Hook parents.
Gee, I wonder if anybody looked into any of those parents collecting life insurance for the deceased kids post haste? (Hmm. That would be an interesting “tell”. If no life insurance and no applications for a payoff, then what might THAT indicate?)
How’s about a lamestream story questioning the credibility of a mom who went out for a tattoo the very next day after her child was murdered in the most horrific way possible?
This is crappy reporting (what’s new?) because the questions I would ask are not answered here: How did this daughter come to the attention of the news media? Who contacted her first and why? Were these phone conversations set ups? If so, why and who put the daughter up to recording her mother? Again, why is the conversation so carefully edited? What was said immediately before the woman asked how long it would be until she got the check? Could she need the money for the funeral expenses?
This is an interesting sociological experiment, isn’t it? More deference for the wealthy Sandy Hook parents than for this victim. More deference, indeed, for the mother of the alleged perp! It’s open season, apparently, on poor white women who happen to have had multiple partners, mental illness, and have lost children to the system.
Do we see the same kind of attitude towards the families of the alleged perps? Anybody asking where the fathers are?
Call me cold hearted, but I would ask about life insurance almost immediately if one of my kids died — it is not a lot but enough to have the child buried. I would not have the money otherwise and most funeral homes ASK for proof of policies to be sure they get paid, if not paying up front. Sorry, but unless the policy is for more than burial costs there is no story here. A very NORMAL question to ask for most of us.
You might do so, especially if you have to pay for an unexpected funeral. The woman in no way looks wealthy. She’d need the money for the funeral and, sad to say, like you point out, funeral homes want cash up front or proof that they’ll get paid.
That’s exactly why people get life insurance for children. The baby was cremated, which may be because of the expense of doing it otherwise. Funeral homes and embalming and graves and formal funerals are expensive.
It struck me as odd (well, not so odd, considering the media) that all CONTEXT for that statement was removed. Why did they do that? I would assume that she taped the whole conversation, so why the selective edit?
We also have only the daughter’s word for it that her mother “changed” her story. Since she taped the conversation (legally?) and since she went to the media or the defendants’ lawyers (OR VICE VERSA), I have to suspect that it was a setup and she asked the mother whether or not she had a policy and encouraged her to make a claim, and that’s when the woman made the statement. It may be that she was telling her daughter that she doesn’t know how she’ll pay for the funeral, the daughter asked about life insurance, and then she asked how long before she gets a check. A normal question, as you say. WHEN did this conversation take place? Okay, the news story says “the night of the shooting.” So she would be thinking, that very night, about funeral arrangements and how she’d pay for them. HOW BIZARRE that she tape recorded her mother’s conversation that very night, unless she’s lying about WHEN this conversation took place.
That mother is odd, as I said. For one thing, if it were I and I had a reporter sitting in my house, telling me how my own daughter sandbagged me and went on the record accusing me of killing my own child, I’d be showing some anger. I saw no anger about being double crossed. She may be in shock or on tranquilizers (or other meds). People on psychiatric drugs do not act as most people would act. It’s why they’re on drugs (if that’s even true)–to calm them, to make them more manageable, to basically mellow them out. Thus, what we see …
It seems pertinent that law enforcement seems to be ignoring this angle. Also that the police chief is black and that he arrested the aunt of the suspect for providing a false alibi and now even the mayor pro tem for what sounds like, imho, race baiting.
How could the baby be creamated? Would it not have to wait until after the trial. The body, is afterall, evidence! How can the defense check, with their own specialists the ballistics with the body. How can they disprove the bullet was not at the level and angle to have been shot by one of the kids and/or entered the back and not the front? The defense must rely soley on one autopsy report. So, if the teens killed the baby they most likely will get off because NO defense can be created and it can be said by destroying the body they were framed. FISHY the body was cremated.
I don’t know. I read somewhere that the funeral was the next day and that the body was cremated. I would assume that the coroner signed off on it and released the body, unless the story was mistaken. It struck me as odd, too, but one assumes that the authorities would not release the body unless the forensics were complete. (Cremation is so much in vogue nowadays. Maybe the legal system hasn’t caught up with this issue, yet.) If the baby were buried, they could always exhume the body if necessary. I would assume that they took multiple photos of the body and the autopsy. (One hopes.) Whatever the case, those lawyers will come up with SOMETHING. This whole thing about attacking the mother, which did begin immediately, smells of the attacks on Mark Fuhrmann and anybody else who testified against OJ. Of course they’re going to demonize the mother. They have to come up with some defense. That’s what lawyers do, especially in a case like this where they can capitalize on racist emotions. What I’m waiting for next is to read that the “community” is going to make the police chief resign, like that unfortunate white police chief lost his job in the Trayvon case. Remember?

Alan David Tucker, an attorney representing Brunswick city commissioner and mayor pro tem James Henry Brooks Sr., said Brooks was arrested for stepping between police and the mother of 17-year-old suspect De’Marquise Elkins when police tried speaking with her during a court appearance Monday. … Tucker said Brooks “picked the wrong ones to go to bat for” in the case and that his client regrets trying to help the suspect’s mother.”
Does the daughter want her 15 minutes of fame? It sounds to me as if, because of the racial component, somebody’s trying to pull a Palin on the mom. While it’s likely that she’s no saint, it would be interesting to know how it came to be that her daughter, who she didn’t raise, got involved when she lives in another state. I’d suspect that it was someone outside law enforcement that tracked her down, looking for dirt. Sounds like she has only been in contact with her biological mother since the baby’s death. Hard to decide what’s going on, but keep in mind that there were witnesses who saw the boys run away, who were on the scene immediately and saw the mother trying to give CPR to the baby, who gave the information that identified the suspects, not to mention the priors Elkins has, including that he allegedly shot a black pastor under similar circumstances just days before.

It’s interesting that (after about 6 minutes in) they talk about Trayvon Martin’s girlfriend who police did not “reach out to” or interview until Martin’s family’s attorney questioned her, with ABC reporters present. Sounds very much like this sudden find of a daughter to accuse her own mother in the Elkins case. Funny that they don’t use “alleged shooter” when referring to Zimmerman.
