Today Hillary Clinton is finally going to tell her version of what happened in Benghazi, when four Americans lost their lives to Al Qaeda-associated jihadists. Will it be more kabuki theater? Will she answer these questions?
What exactly was Ambassador Stevens doing in Benghazi on the anniversary of 9/11?
What exactly was the function of the “annex” where CIA agents were stationed?
What was their mission in Benghazi?
Were they running guns through Libya, via Turkey, to Al Qaeda-associated “rebels” in Syria?
Where are the dozens of survivors of the attack?
Will we get answers that make sense and explain logically all of the MANY discrepancies in this story?
What was Obama doing while all this went down?
Why didn’t Obama order the military to respond to the attacks and save the lives that might have been saved?
What did Obama know, and when did he know it?
Will the families of the dead ever hear the truth, or will Hillary simply rely upon the alleged fact that she “hugged” them and “cried” along with them?
Text of her opening remarks here: http://www.state.gov/secretary/rm/2013/01/203158.htm
Update 3:52 p.m.: Sharyl Attkisson of CBS posted a list of questions she posed to the government, all of which so far have gone unanswered. It appears they refuse to answer. Will we hear any answers to these questions, EVER? h/t Bridgette. Following are excerpts from her article; there are questions within questions, so read at the link for more depth:
What time was Ambassador’s Stevens’ body recovered?
Who made the decision not to convene the Counterterrorism Security Group (CSG) the night of the Benghazi attacks?
Who is the highest-ranking official who was aware of pre-911 security requests from US personnel in Libya?
Who is/are the official(s) responsible for removing reference to al-Qaeda from the original CIA notes?
What is your response to the President stating that on Sept. 12, he called 911 a terrorist attack, in light of his CBS interview on that date in which he answered that it was too early to know whether it was a terrorist attack?
Why wouldn’t there be [“resources outside Libya that could arrive in Benghazi/N. Africa within 8 hrs on Sept. 11, 2012”] and who would have made that decision to leave the area so open on the anniversary of 9/11?
Is anyone being held accountable for having no resources close enough to reach this high-threat area within 8+ hours on Sept. 11, and has the Administration taken steps to have resources available sooner in case of emergency in the future?
A Benghazi victim’s family member stated that Mrs. Clinton told him she would find and arrest whoever made the anti-Islam video. Is this accurate?
What is the Administration’s criteria in general for requesting removal of a YouTube or other Internet video? [They asked YouTube to take down the alleged anti-Muslim video that they blamed for the Benghazi attack.]

“Hillary Clinton snagged in Benghazi cover-up
New reports prompt questions about perplexing security decisions after attack
As media reports present evidence the U.S. has played a central role in arming Syrian rebels, new questions now emerge about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s involvement in the controversial scheme.
The questions prompt a second look at the perplexing security decisions made by Clinton and other top Obama administration officials the night of the Sept. 11, 2012, attacks on American facilities in Benghazi.
One of those key decisions reportedly delayed an investigative FBI team from arriving at the Benghazi site for 24 days. The site was widely reported to have contained classified documents. …
Any training or arming of the Syrian rebels would be considered highly controversial. A major issue is the inclusion of jihadists, including al-Qaida, among the ranks of the Free Syrian Army and other Syrian opposition groups
Now a closer reading of two separate reports from the New York Times paints a picture of Clinton as the ring leader of the plan to arm Syrian rebels. …”
Mom of murdered Benghazi officer tells Hannity heartbreaking story
April 6, 2013
The angry and distraught mother of State Department information management officer Sean Smith, who was killed in Benghazi on Sept. 11, spoke to Sean Hannity on his radio show Friday. Pat Smith told Hannity her son knew of the poor security at the U.S. Consulate and even warned the State Department of an impending attack:
Mediaite reported Hannity’s heartwarming gesture to Smith at the end of the Friday interview: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there, that they were going to be attacked: ‘Please, they needed more security,’ and they were ignored. And I don’t appreciate everybody going to bed and going to sleep and not taking care of the guys that they put in harm’s way, one of them being my son.
~
Sean Smith will be honored at an award ceremony on May 3rd, but Ms. Smith was told she would have to pay her own way. As Ms. Smith’s income is limited to Social Security benefits, she could not afford to attend. Hannity balked at the idea that we justify costs for the First Family’s vacations and the White House concert series and parties, while “the mother of a slain hero from the Benghazi tragedy, which they screwed up because they didn’t listen to your son,” is not accommodated. Smith received a nice surprise – Hannity offered to pay for all her travel expenses (hotel, round-trip airfare, meals), as well as her guest’s, so that she can attend the ceremony, encouraging Smith to order a “big expensive steak dinner on me… with lobster on the side and a big bottle of wine.” A relieved and emotional Smith happily accepted.

I heard this on the radio and tears came to my eyes. The wife of Sean will be attending and was invited, but Sean’s mother was not! Astonishing…not in the least for the regime we have in DC.
Pat doesn’t see her grandchildren very often because the family moved around so much and lived in foreign countries or far away from where she lives, and she doesn’t know her daughter in law very well either.
Thank you Sean Hannity!
They didn’t INVITE her? That’s certainly payback. They don’t want her there because they know she speaks her mind and they know the media will cover it. Ok. So now Hannity will pay for her to go, but will they let her in?
God bless Sean Hannity. It’s appalling that they will “honor” Sean Smith and not pay for his mother to be there. Where’s this ceremony supposed to take place? This is probably snarky payback for her outspokenness. I’ll bet you anything that somehow We the People paid the way for all those kids to be at that Jackie Robinson event recently at the WH, especially the ones from LA.
New Film Portrays Benghazi Terror Attack
April 6, 2013
TRNS interviews Rich Ware, the co-producer of a new film that dramatizes the September 11, 2012 terror attack on a U.S. diplomatic facility in Benghazi, Libya. The film is called “Amazing Ops: Siege at Benghazi,” and is available to watch right now online. It was produced by HistoriVision, and scenes were filmed at complexes near San Diego, Calif. The film’s producers hired former Navy SEALS and Special Ops members as consultants. The not-yet completed film depicts the how U.S. and Libyan forces responded to the attack, which actually lasted several hours.

Is the producer a pal of the Obama administration? Looking at the discussion points 3, 4, 5 , I would think so. One prime example – the Perps were motivated by the amateur video is certainly a tell. The Obama Administration is looking for a way to exonerate themselves, so it appears they are trying to do it via a film and a dedicated movie producer in the pockets of the DemoncRATS. Yet without all of the details, how can the film be anything but a fantasy story just like the one that Obama, Hillary and Susan Rice concocted to con the families of those slain, including US citizens and the world.
Hoping this propaganda film never gets financed or goes belly up. May the real ending of the film show those responsible sitting in a courthouse awaiting sentencing!
Propaganda?

“700 Retired Military Special Ops Tell Congress to Form Select Committee on Benghazi
Seven hundred retired Military Special Operations professionals from the organization “Special Operations Speaks” sent a letter to the House of Representatives urging members to support H.Res 36, which will create a House Select Committee to investigate last September’s deadly terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya.
“It appears that many of the facts and details surrounding the terrorist attack which resulted in four American deaths and an undetermined number of American casualties have not yet been ascertained by previous hearings and inquiries,” the letter states. It continues further, “Additional information is now slowly surfacing in the media, which makes a comprehensive bipartisan inquiry an imperative. Many questions have not been answered thus far.” The letter puts forth over twenty unanswered questions the select committee should address.
Congressman Frank Wolf (R-VA), a sub-committee chairman on the House Appropriations Committee, issued a resolution for a House Select Committee to investigate issues surrounding the Benghazi Attack last November in the 112th Congress. He re-issued his resolution for the select committee when the 113th Congress began. The resolution currently has over 60 co–sponsors.
Only Speaker John Boehner (R–OH) can appoint a Select Committee and Boehner appears to mainly rely on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence to investigate the Benghazi attack. However, any information that may be garnered from that committee will, as always, remain classified. …”

Issa to CIA: Get your lawyers ready on Benghazi
4-18-2013
Ed Morrissey
Suddenly, it seems that the terror attack on our consulate in Benghazi last September may become relevant all over again. Yesterday afternoon, CBS’ Sharyl Attkisson reported that a number of whistleblowers had emerged to talk to the House Oversight Committee, in news that may have slipped under the radar of other emerging (and non-emerging) developments in the Boston Marathon attack story:
“CBS News has learned that multiple new whistleblowers are privately speaking to investigators with the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee regarding the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attacks on the U.S. compounds in Benghazi, Libya.”
“The nature of the communications with the whistleblowers and their identities are not being made public at this time. But in response, the Oversight Committee yesterday sent letters to the three federal agencies involved: the CIA, the Defense Department and the State Department.”

Ever since the initial probe stalled a few months ago, many have wondered why the administration hasn’t made the survivors of that night available to House investigators. Some have also wondered why those survivors haven’t come forward on their own, but if they still work in intelligence agencies, they may not have been allowed to do so. These new whistleblowers may or may not be the Benghazi survivors, but clearly they’re coming from within the intel community — and Issa’s letter strongly suggest that they are pointing fingers upstairs.

John Kerry On Benghazi: “We Got A Lot More Important Things To Move On To”
April 18, 2013
Real Clear Politics
REP. DANA ROHRABACHER (R-CA): Mr. Secretary, we think that there was a coverup of some kind of wrongdoing that led this administration to lie to the American people about the nature of the attack immediately after the attack and for a week after that attack. We need to have these questions answered. We need to talk to the people who are on the scene. Can you give us a commitment now that for this administration you will be coming up with the request, the honest request of this investigative committee as to who was evacuated and how to talk to them so we can get a straight answer and an understanding of what happened in Benghazi?
SECRETARY OF STATE JOHN KERRY: Well, before I became Secretary, Congressman, I believe I got the answers to who was evacuated and had a pretty good sense of what happened there. But now that I am the Secretary and I am responsible to you and the Congress, I can promise you that if you’re not getting something that you have evidence of or you think you ought to be getting, we’ll work with you. And I will appoint somebody to work directly with you starting tomorrow, with you, Mr. Chairman, to have a review of anything you don’t think you’ve gotten that you’re supposed to get. Let’s get this done with, folks.
ROHRABACHER: Thanks.
KERRY: Let’s figure out what it is that’s missing, if it’s legitimate or if it isn’t. I don’t think anybody lied to anybody. And let’s find out exactly, together, what happened, because we need — we got a lot more important things to move on to and get done. (House Foreign Affairs Committee, April 17, 2013)

He should tell that to the families of the slain–tell them you have more important things to move on to, John.
We went from “what difference does it make” to now” got a lot more important things to move on to”. Geeese, they’re like twins!
