Presidential Debate #3 – Mitt Romney vs The Empty Chair

Presidential Foreign Policy Debate

The Mitts Come Off Tonight!

Monday, 8:00 p.m.  CST

Tonight the Empty Chair will try to skate around questions posed by Mitt Romney or the moderator regarding  the U.S. involvement in Libya, and whether the ineptness of  his administration is at fault in the deaths of Ambassador Chris Stevens and 3 others.   It is obvious to anyone paying attention to this fiasco that the Obama administration is involved in some kind of cover-up.  What was really happening in Libya and why it occurred actually may be more sinister than just a foul-up by the State Department.   The reported facts don’t match their political rhetoric.   Day by day more information is reported that contradicts their official story.   From the Libyan government, whistle-blowers, State Department staffers,  reporters,  intel sources, and from Ambassador Steven’s own cables,  a different story is emerging than the one originating with the White House.

Obama boldly and unapologetically  lied to the American people not just once, but multiple times about the Libyan attack.  He, Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice, and Jay Carney blamed an unseen video for a spontaneous attack in Libya.  Knowing the truth about the attacks, Obama shamefully continued the fictitious tale in his speech at the memorial service for our dead Americans,  and then took the same story to the UN!

The administration went so far as to produce a video that was to be shown in the Middle East stating that the U.S. was not responsible for producing the repugnant film.   Taxpayer money to the tune of $70,000 was spent on a video  showcasing  our two top government officials reiterating their video lie.   In their minds, this video starring Hillary and Barack when broadcast in several Middle Eastern countries would help  quell the violence erupting throughout the Middle East.  As the Obama marketers were producing their still unseen advertisement,   Islamic protests, uprisings and violence spread to over 25 countries within days.  I’d venture to guess that the White House’s attempt to become stars in a movie made for Islamic terrorists was a complete flop.  Did they really think they had “Star Power” in the Middle East?

To go hand in hand with their movie,  our clueless government officials continued to tell the American people for 14 days the bogus tale about the video being the cause of the multi-country violent protests and attacks.   The administration and their spokespeople even refused to define the attack as an Islamic terrorist attack.

Obama was put on the defensive in the last debate where he blatantly lied to Mitt and millions of viewers when he said he did call it a terrorist attack in his speech on September 12.  He was backed up in his lie by the sycophantic moderator Candy Crowley as she leap from her chair holding the Obama’s speech in her hand to agree with his lie.  It turned out that Mitt was correct in his assessment and Candy admitted as such,  later.  Unfortunately, most Americans didn’t see or hear Candy’s admission,  but they did see her jump to Obama’s defense.   The spin was created and the lie continued by the Left,  although if one reads the transcript of Obama’s speech, it is plain to see that he did not acknowledge the attack in Libya as being done by Islamic terrorists.   In fact within the last couple days, the leftist journOlists are trying to erase any mention of it being part of an Al Qaeda attack.

We were able to put two and two together rather quickly, and none of us are experts.   We used some good old common sense and reached conclusions within hours of seeing the attacks on television.  All we needed  to see was that the calendar read September 11, 2012.  To that context we added the U.S.  Libyan Consulate was  attacked, and four Americans were dead.  Quickly and without much information,  we knew  a terrorist attack occurred.  Yet, the White House couldn’t use the term terrorist attack to describe what we saw and heard on the news.  For days they played musical words and continued to blame protests and the murdering of  our ambassador and 3 others on an obscure film.

How obscure was it?  According to one report that film was put on You Tube in July and seen only 17 times from the day it was uploaded to the day after the attack.   Of those 17 people, we will even go so far as to assume that the people that had watched it were the original actors, and one or two people in the White House.   We know someone in the administration had  seen it because it became part of the administration’s talking points.  More sinister is the question whether that obscure film was part of a plot that the administration was intentionally creating?

What should we expect?  From Obama, I expect more of the same;  lies and more damn lies, and those will be reported and tweeted by Obama’s supporters in news print and by the adulatory, apple-polishing, a@@-kissing, mainstream media.  Obama will dance again and it will be interesting if Obama can really blame and use the term radical Islamic terrorists.  More importantly, can he call those depraved jihadist Muslims by what they are … terrorists?

We have plenty of questions that need answering about Obama’s foreign policy concerning his administration’s  secret contacts with CAIR, Iran, the Taliban, Libyan rebels, the Muslim Brotherhood and any other enemies of the United States.   Additional questions would include finding out about his and  government contacts with Mexico and Russia.  How Obama sees the United States role in the world compared to Mitt’s should be extremely interesting.  Obama’s weak and appeasing stance to our enemies and his disregard for our allies should be a focus point.  Obama believes in weakening our military, whereas Mitt wants to ensure that our nation’s military strength is unsurpassed.

Bob Schieffer will be the moderator for this  evenings bout between the two candidates.  The Foreign Policy debate is the third and final 2012 presidential debate.   Mr. Schieffer  selected the foreign policy topics, and stated there may be additional topics due to news developments.  These topics were published on Oct. 12, and much has occurred since then.   I would hope that the events of the last two weeks are included in his questions tonight.  The Commission on Presidential Debates published the topics chosen by the moderator. They include:

  • America’s role in the world
  • Our longest war – Afghanistan and Pakistan
  • Red Lines – Israel and Iran
  • The Changing Middle East and the New Face of Terrorism – I
  • The Changing Middle East and the New Face of Terrorism – II
  • The Rise of China and Tomorrow’s World

The debate is being held at Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL.   The format calls for six 15-minute time segments, each of which will focus on one of the topics listed above.  The moderator will open each segment with a question.  Each candidate will have two minutes to respond.  Following the candidates’ responses, the moderator will use the balance of the 15-minute segment to facilitate a discussion on the topic.

May the gloves come off tonight!  We want to see Mitt clobber Obama with the full force of his skill, knowledge and experience.   It should become evident that Mitt  is a true patriot and Obama’s intentions aren’t in the best interest  of our nation.  Romney believes in the USA’s exceptionalism, while  Obama does not.  Romney believes in military strength to keep our enemies at bay while Obama wants to weaken and dismantle our military strength.  Mitt will reestablish ties with our true allies, while Obama has pushed them aside.  Mitt will identify our enemies and call a spade a spade, and a terrorist a terrorist.  In contrast, Obama has sided with our enemies, invited them to the White House, and conspired with them in secret deals.  He called the attack on our military at Ft. Hood “workplace violence” instead of a radical Muslim terrorist attack.  If Obama can’t bring himself to identify the enemy, how are our soldiers supposed to defeat them?

Obama may revert to his canned talking points, but those may not save him in this final round.  Obama is at a disadvantage without TOTUS standing by to prompt him, and it should be easy for Mitt to get under Obama’s very thin skin.   Be on the lookout for Obama’s  drug induced performance.  It should be easy to spot now that we know his erratic behavior from one debate to the next had all the signs of his using something to enhance his performance.

An aggressive  debate performance by Obama will not erase the fact that under his lackluster and Marxist  leadership for four years,  our nation has faced an unprecedented decline politically, economically and financially  both here and abroad.   It is time to cast the final blow and knock him out of the running.   We can do that on November 6.  But tonight,  it is Mitt’s chance to  knock him out!

It is anticipated that  Obama will be the loser with a capital “L”  engraved on his forehead when the final bell is rung.  The best man for the job as president will win tonight,  and on November 6th the American people will hit Obama with a final blow… a TKO!

We want  Mitt Romney to come out fighting and be declared the winner in the final round tonight  by running circles around the anti-American, TWAP, or Empty Chair.

Knock him out, Mitt!

  1. A look at all of the polls through October 21. I hate to send you to Huff Po, but the table is interesting to see the comparisons between different polls.

  2. This is Huge! Over objections by the defense we were able to admit into evidence all of the exhibits and testimony showing forgery in Obama’s birth certificate. Proposed order will be submitted by TH, decision by Judge Reid will be coming in the near future!

  3. So I’m listening to Rush Limbaugh, which I ordinarily don’t do, and Rush says the polls will all start to correct themselves (as they’re doing now) because the pollsters try to help the DemoncRATS as much as they can all along, but when it gets close to the end, then they start to worry about their reputations and they have to start telling the truth.

Rush also says that Obama and company are again leaning on Gallup, out of anger at the big lead Gallup gives Romney. He says Reuters, which does its own polling, in an unprecedented move, has written a story to criticize Gallup! He expects that we’ll know whether the pressure on Gallup worked, if after this debate they suddenly tighten up the poll results.

Rush also says that Reuters says ROMNEY has to recover tonight from HIS “botch” of Libya. Romney? They then cite what Romney said criticizing the EGYPTIAN EMBASSY for apologizing for a video only 17 people had seen! Romney didn’t even talk about Libya THAT NIGHT, so it wasn’t any botch of Libya and who botched Libya, big time, was OBAMA!

Now the truth comes out that the administration (Hillary et al) ASKED PERMISSION of Libya to go into their air space to protect the consulate, Stevens, Smith, Woods, and Doherty. They won’t say, however, what the Libyans responded but it’s rather obvious–the Libyans must have said, “No, you can’t protect your people,” and so Barry said, “Oh, okay. We’ll just let them die, then.”

That property is our sovereign territory, if it’s an embassy. But of course, it’s a morphing story what the heck it was–an embassy, a consulate, a mission, or just a CIA intelligence station with a guy being a go-between to help give weapons to Al Qaeda and other terrorist Muslim groups to use (they hoped) in Syria against Assad. This was from Rush. I haven’t read any stories about it yet.

Rush says that Romney will have to be careful tonight because he suspects they met with Schieffer, as they probably met with Candy, to set up a “gotcha” like the “acts of terror” lies.

But I would sure love to hear Romney ask why Stevens was there, why the drone saw what was going on and they did NOTHING to help (at least the SEALS who didn’t die until hours later), what the Libyans said when we asked them PERMISSION to protect our own, and why the State Dept. watched it go down in real time but somehow they didn’t pass the information on to the WH or Susan Rice that there was no protest, and when Hillary saw those CIA talking points, why she didn’t correct them and say, “Look at the video. There was no protest.”?

    • Funny, I listened to Rush today also and heard him talking about the polls and how they were used to sway public opinion. Then just before the election, they change their methodology so their results will be more in line with what reality is. We could tell that because of the bent toward Obama and couldn’t believe it after the “shellacking” the democrats took in 2010. So the biased polls for Obama were taking multiple polls that included more democrats than republicans so it would appear that Obama was ahead. To get to that result Real Clear politics would combine and total all polls then average those to get a result. So if there were an overabundance of polls showing Obama ahead, he would come out ahead in the rolling poll.

  4. Speaking of the Muslim Brotherhood, has Michele Bachmann EVER gotten a response to her questions about how deeply they have infiltrated our government and HOW did Huma Abedin Weiner get clearance to work in our government, considering that her mother helped FOUND the Muslim Sisterhood?

    • I think we would have heard from Michelle if she got any further in her investigation. She was raked over the coals for even insinuating that the Muslims were infiltrating our government and for asking about Huma. I wonder if she got Rep. King on her side because he was looking into the Muslim problem in a different way and he too was put on a Leftist hit list for broaching the problem. If it turns out that the Muslim Brotherhood was responsible for Libya, perhaps those people that sided with Huma might give her a second look. I believe John Boehner and McCain were two that I recall sided with Huma. It might be that those two men might have a beef with Michelle also. We don’t know the inner workings of Congress so wouldn’t be privy to how they operate, but I think she has gotten under their skin.

Michelle is in a really tight race to retain her seat. The democrats are out to unseat her as well as Alan West. Both people are outspoken against the democrats – and by that I mean they tell the truth. It will be a shame if either one loses in this election.

      • I agree. Last I heard, Allen West was behind. Does that mean that Florida is racist? I hope they both win, but we haven’t heard the last of either of them, no matter what happens. You know what? I expected to hear a lot more from Sarah Palin this time.

        • Rosemary Woodhouse

          West 52%, Murphy 41%

Allen has received the largest amount from nation wide donors.

I wish Bachmann also had that kind of following. I happen to like her a lot. I am hoping she prevails, especially representing a state which elected the first Muslim representative whowas sworn into Congress on a Quran.

          • someone sent me this. It’s quite good.
            Scary Obituary

In 1887 Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh ,
had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years prior:

“A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent
            form of government.
A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can
vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury.
From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the
most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally
collapse over loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship.”

“The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has
            been about 200 years.
During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:

            From bondage to spiritual faith;
            From spiritual faith to great courage;
            From courage to liberty;
            From liberty to abundance;
            From abundance to complacency;
            From complacency to apathy;
            From apathy to dependence;
            From dependence back into bondage.”
            The Obituary follows:

            Born 1776, Died 2012
It doesn’t hurt to read this several times.

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul , Minnesota ,
points out some interesting facts concerning the last Presidential election:

Number of States won by: Obama: 19 McCain: 29
Square miles of land won by: Obama: 580,000 McCain: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by: Obama: 127 million McCain: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Obama: 13.2 McCain: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: “In aggregate, the map of the territory McCain won was
mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country.

Obama territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low income
tenements and living off various forms of government welfare…”

Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the
“complacency and apathy” phase of Professor Tyler’s definition of democracy,
with some forty percent of the nation’s population already having reached
            the “governmental dependency” phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal
invaders called illegal’s – and they vote – then we can say goodbye to the
USA in fewer than five years.

If you are in favor of this, then by all means, delete this message.

If you are not, then pass this along to help everyone realize just how much is at
stake, knowing that apathy is the greatest danger to our freedom..

            This is truly scary!
Of course we are not a democracy, we are a Constitutional Republic .
Someone should point this out to Obama.
Of course we know he and too many others pay little attention to The Constitution.
There couldn’t be more at stake than on Nov 2012.

          • Wow, good news about West because they redistricted his area and he was put into a highly Democratic one.

I had an email from Michelle asking for money, but it didn’t give any information on how she was faring in her race.

          • Yay! It was a while back that I saw the poll. I just looked up that Bachmann still leads, but barely.

          • Rosemary Woodhouse

Wow, alfy. That’s an incredible read!.\ Sadly, were it shared far and wide, it would be called racism. /sarcasm on/ Don’t you know that the words “inner city” is now code? /sarcasm off. It is unbelievable to me that we have allowed our country to become so politically correct that truth is now hate speech!

  5. We have to beware of Schieffer. I usually cannot stand to watch his weekly program, on account of his bias. This story illustrates:

“In 2008, Schieffer asked 9 questions. Look at how he slanted some of the questions and his interjections:

    1. “We found out yesterday that this year’s deficit will reach an astounding record high $455 billion. Some experts say it could go to $1 trillion next year. Both of you have said you want to reduce the deficit, but the nonpartisan Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget ran the numbers on both of your proposals and they say the cost of your proposals, even with the savings you claim can be made, each will add more than $200 billion to the deficit. Aren’t you both ignoring reality? Won’t some of the programs you are proposing have to be trimmed, postponed, even eliminated? Give us some specifics on what you’re going to cut back.”

    Obama evaded the question entirely:

Obama : “We need to eliminate a whole host of programs that don’t work. And I want to go through the federal budget line by line, page by page, programs that don’t work, we should cut. Programs that we need, we should make them work better.”

But then Schieffer demanded McCain get specific, after McCain had barely started his answer, interrupting, “The question was, what are you going to cut?” ”

That’s just one example the writer gives. There are more there, if you can stand to read them. Could you, in your wildest dreams, imagine Schieffer saying to Barry:

“We found out yesterday that this year’s deficit will reach an astounding record high $1.09 trillion.”

    • That is good background on how Schieffer operates. We will be able to pick it up quicker by seeing how he previously slanted his questions. I am sure the Romney team has prepped him for this and how to counter it. Three debates and 3 liberal moderators has stacked the deck for Obama. Perhaps the next time, the Republicans can change how the debates operate by making sure that the moderators are more neutral.

      • I hope they did prep him well. As usual, it will be like he’s debating two at once. Those are odds Barry likes. He CANNOT ever fight fairly. He always must have an edge. If the playing field were level, he’d lose every time. I don’t know how much Schieffer cares about his reputation, but he’s certainly got a good sample of what’s waiting for anybody who is blatantly biased as a moderator and that might just “moderate” his behavior. We shall see.

Remember how in the last debate Romney made that (to us) innocuous comment about having binders full of women he can refer to when he needs to fill his administration with qualified people? This guy has an amazing theory on why the lefties got their panties in a wad about that. He relates it to their snarking over teabaggers in a way that I’d never imagine, but it seems his hypothesis rings true. What comes to mind, more than anything else, are those photos of SAD taken by FMD:

I know THIS won’t come up in the debate (although I wish it would). It never occurred to me that they had yet another nasty concept in mind.

  6. Will this come up in the debate tonight? 125 countries to get our special forces and 75 already?

“The U.S. may commit military forces to Mali to deal with jihadists in the North African country under a proposed resolution France has drafted for the United Nations Security Council, according to Joseph Farah’s G2 Bulletin.

Analysts believe the resolution, which may pass within the next 30 days, calls for members to provide military training and equipment to halt the spread of jihadists in the western portion of the continent. … Washington is preparing to extend its unmanned aerial vehicles, UAVs, or drones, to target AQIM strongholds in Mali. AQIM already is in U.S. gunsights for the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya.

Until recently, the U.S. has had troops in Mali but has had to pull them out due to the increasing political turmoil in Mali’s capital of Bamako. As a result, there are fears that the northern portion of Mali will come increasingly under the influence of AQIM and become a new sanctuary for international terrorism.”

(Special attention to the name of the author.) France and UN decide where our troops go? Barry is suddenly the anti-Al Qaeda warrior? Drones in Mali now. Yes, if AQIM was in the “gunsights” already in Benghazi, and a drone was overhead, and jets were within reach, then WHY didn’t they take them out and perhaps save the SEALS?

  7. I’m going to put this here because it relates to foreign policy and may come up in the debate:

Remember when lefties and the complicit lamestream, including Dana Milbank, complained that the House Committee “outed” a Libyan, putting her at risk? Well, guess what? They lied; it was Obama’s administration that “outed” her almost a year ago:
“House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa issued the following statement in response to false Obama Administration claims that an Oversight Committee release of unclassified documents showing serious diplomatic security failures in Benghazi represented the first public association of the woman with the U.S.:
“The Libyan rights activist who was highlighted by the Obama administration in news accounts as having not been, ‘publicly associated with the U.S.’ until the Oversight Committee released documents had actually been brought to the U.S. in December 2011 by the State Department and her trip is highlighted on the Internet. President Obama should be ashamed of yet another example where his administration has been caught trying to mislead the American people about what happened in Libya.”

“Obama Administration officials and their surrogates are clearly reeling from revelations about how the situation in Benghazi was mishandled and are falsely politicizing the issue in a last ditch effort to save President Obama’s reelection effort. To see such prominent officials as Sen. John Kerry, Sen. Dick Durbin, Sen. Carl Levin, Rahm Emanuel, and Obama Senior Advisor David Axelrod paraded out over to weekend to make false charges about the Oversight Committee putting Libyans in danger only shows their desperation to hide the truth. As the Committee had previously indicated, the State Department has had these documents for two weeks but never contacted the committee about making specific redactions. The Libyans noted in these documents worked in positions where their interactions with westerners would not be surprising.””

    More at the link.

That is an excellent article that deconstructs the last debate questions and answers and shows, in an amazing and convincing way, how Barry is nothing else BUT an avowed collectivist. I’m glad this person wrote the analysis after that town hall style debate because Barry won’t be able to use tips learned from the blogosphere and the Internet in this one, where it’s just Romney, Barry, and Bob. I’m sure he used tips from the first debate (imitate Romney, eye contact, gestures, pay attention) to do better in the second. He’s certainly, if nothing else, a very skilled faker, imitator, pretender. He’s been play acting at being a president since he was a child in Indonesia, according to his stepsister Lia (who most don’t even know about. Conveniently dead Lia.)

Considering what Klein said about the deaths in Benghazi being “mirages”, it’s interesting that the writer uses that same word:

“If you believe that the product of your voluntary interaction with your surroundings and with society is your rightful property, as a logical extension of your right to life, then you are an obstacle. If you are frustrated that so much of your life’s effort is confiscated by the government to pay for programs and regulations that thwart your ability to pursue happiness, you are an obstacle. If you believe your natural right to self-preservation precludes any government panel or regulatory bureaucracy determining which available medical treatments you or your loved ones ought to be allowed to pursue, you are an obstacle.

The leftist’s default assumption is that your assertions of individual dignity are annoying mirages cast along the path of “progress” to prevent the full realization of his abstract dreams of collective perfection. Where you cannot merely be swept aside, you must be persuaded of your unimportance — indeed, of your ultimate unreality. Thus, “You didn’t build that”; thus, “The fact that you’re getting a college education is great, but…”; thus, “I think when you spread the wealth around [whose wealth?], it’s good for everybody.”

Obama’s supporters, and particularly those who have been sold the liberal bill of goods to the effect that the president and the Democrats “care about you” more than Mitt Romney and the Republicans, must finally come to terms with the fact that in Barack Obama’s mind, and in the world he envisions, there is no you.”

Another from American Thinker. I never heard of the “checkpoint scandal” but it’s presented there. It involved Barry pressuring Israel into removing checkpoints that led directly to the deaths of many innocent people. Rather like him creating rules of engagement that force our troops to “fight” with one hand tied behind their backs, ensuring coffins coming home to Dover. The writer draws a critical analogy about Barry praising checkpoints set up by CIVILIANS during the Arab Spring, and wonders if Barry would similarly praise Tea Partiers who set up checkpoints to keep weapons out of their demonstrations. This should ALSO come up in the debate tonight.

  10. 5 Minutes until they take their respective “corners.” Ann looks lovely. It appears to be a dress that is deep forest green on top and a print of green and turquoise on the bottom. She is wearing large turquoise glass beads. I may have the colors wrong because it was a brief view of her. She appears to be sitting next to one of her sons. (I recognize him from a side view).

On C-span, Bob Sheiffer said they are to be as quiet as mice.

Michelle is wearing what looks like drab green dress (or it could be gray) with a black lace overlay with a peculiar small bow on the right side of the bodice. It makes her coloring look very drab.

Everyone is waiting for it to begin and for the men to be announced.

  11. About 1 minute 35 seconds for it to begin. Praying hard for Mitt Romney.

  12. Obama has continued staring at Romney and blinking for the entire first 20 minutes. Obama keeps telling how he thinks Romney thinks rather than what his own views are. Romney keeps saying that what Obama says isn’t accurate, then he will say what his plans are and lists them.

Obama must have practiced this staring game that he is using. It is really peculiar.

    • Hussein abruplty stopped the threatening stare, which is what his attempt to look attentive came over as. This abrupt ceasing was as if someone told him to stop as it was not coming across well. Now how could anyone communicate with him.

      • I looked at the images this morning and Barry was most certainly looking off to HIS left, getting cues from someone. At first, I thought he was motioning to Bob that he wanted a rebuttal, but it couldn’t have been Schieffer because Schieffer was actually more to Barry’s right than his left. Guess we need to see who was where in the audience. Anybody notice his ring? I have a photo I’ll upload in a minute. It’s from about 5 days ago and it certainly does look as if he’s now wearing what IS a gold elephant-hair ring, like the one Dr. Con conveniently allegedly photographed on Barry’s hand, although Dr. Con crops out the face, also conveniently. That is a HUGE tell if, upon the ring being questioned, he suddenly begins wearing a counterfeit (although it would be in character. Nothing about him is real.)

  13. Yes, it is so annoying this blinking and staring. He looks like he might be on something and he can’t keep his eyes open. I also think he has an ear bud and someone is talking, hence the gaps in words while he looks down. It seems that someone is whispering in his ear what to say.

    • I wasn’t able to watch. I had to go somewhere for an hour and then I had to relinquish the TV for a playoff game. 🙂 In any case, I did see about 5 minutes. Enough to notice that Barry acted as if he had a friendly face in the crowd that was prompting him. He was smiling and getting the person’s attention while Romney talked. Then I realized it was what must have been a prearranged signal to Bob to allow him to respond to what Romney said, which Bob let him do. Then, after Barry spoke and criticized Romney later on, Bob wouldn’t let Romney respond. I did see that annoying stare of Barry’s, but that was imitation of Romney–how Romney was attentive and looked at him during the first debate. Barry can’t pull it off. My word but Barry looks YELLOW. What’s up with that skin color? Mitt seemed reticent. I saw part of it on CNN and they had an annoying “Florida undecided voters” graph at the bottom, going up and down as the men spoke. Showing approval/disapproval. It was mostly flat. I find it hard to believe there are STILL “undecided” voters. I suspect they’re Obama supporters who lie about being undecided. It’s a game with them. I saw Obama snarking at Romney and giving that creepy grin. I have no doubt that the lamestream will say that Barry won. Did they even discuss the fiasco in Libya?

    • He is imitating Romney and failing.

      • Rosemary Woodhouse

Oh my gosh. I just wrote that elsewhere. He took on Romney’s persona.

        • I wrote about this after last debate and nobody commented on it, except of course the thinkers here! It went over people’s heads. It is a part of psychological warfare and when working, boy does it work..

  14. Dar…. OOO wearing a wire? over 6 times cocks & turns head, listen eyes grasping to get it all? from someone…something 4 SURE! looks in the audience ….it was dark?…OR JUST HIS DEMONS …FLASHBACKS?
his skin was a mess…. is it really him…. I never know
Bob Schieffer did a GREAT JOB….. & MITT was firm… clean not allow interruptions…. no matter how much BARRY BUTTED IN…… So much LOVE on stage…after the debate…. GO GO ROMNEY!!!!!!!!!

    • I hope you’re right. I’ve already read one story that says Barry won. Inexplicably the story’s out there, and it says “published four hours ago.”–politics.html It must have been a time warp. 🙂

GO FIGURE. The guy must have got Barry’s talking points and his hand signal TOTUS notes. Or maybe the transcript from his wire. I saw one shot of them from the back and boy, did Barry look small. All hunched over like Gollum. I’m sorry, but that’s what he reminded me of. It was creepy.

    • Quick. Look at the creepy photo on Drudge.

      • you need to save that one. I blew it up. Can’t figure why there’s the extra fold in his face and also a faint line over his upper lip all the way back across his cheek. But mainly that ear. Does look like there’s a flesh colored piece directly inside ear canal. THen in upper ear , who knows why that is, especially when enlarged. Whoa, you should send this in somewhere and ask questions about this. What the heck is that??

        • Wonder where , at what time in the debate this photo was taken?

          • Here’s the new ring:

It looks different and far more like that elephant hair ring in Dr. Con’s photos. It’s a con, in other words. Remember that they said Barry’s wedding ring was Indonesian and of intricate design? An elephant hair ring is neither. It’s African and it’s just wire wrapped. No designs on it. But that ring he did wear for 30 years obviously has an intricate design stamped into it.

            Warning. The moles!

          • What we’re talking about:

          • Photoshopped to get us off on a tangent? Why would Drudge put it up in the first place?

        • I agree. There’s something odd. When you blow it up, it pixelates in a perfect square, as if that part was photoshopped. I see the line across the lip, too. Odd.

    • Someone told him to knock off the staring as it was not working.

  15. I noticed something different about the whole debate, I guess. I hear some people say (obots) that Romney sounded like obama lite! Well, I don’t see it that way. I think that Romney was showing some kindness about himself, also showing that he wants peace just like we do. I want peace as well, but I know that it’s far from us now at this time in our world. People think that Romney was doing the opposite of what people thought he should be doing. I.e., not getting down and dirty.

Which makes me bring up this fact, does Romney know something about BO that may make BO fall? That’s the thought that I was left with. I know that when people fall, commit this crime or that, one isn’t supposed to kick an already fallen person even more. If your opponent is going downhill, one doesn’t want to kick him further, i.e. That’s the nature of being a person of having integrity, i.e., like Romney has shown.

    • I don’t know if Romney knows something about a BO fall, but there is a very real possibility, at this point, that he is more up-to-speed on national security issues than BO in that the presodidn’t has been busy doing everything but doing security meetings. Well, only to the point of trying to figure out some more CYA damage control.

Mitt could have so easily nailed the guy last night. He put national security before political gain, as I see it. Mitt also sacrificed himself for national security last night. Think about this. He could have said when mentioning Pakistan has 100 nukies that Obama has reduced US to 1950 levels leaving us with only 300, which is why we are in the position where we have to “give aid” to Pakistan — They threaten us with their nukes.” MItt chose not to advertise to the world that we are reduced to such low levels, and many of them are suspected to be ‘dud’s) at that. He could have lambasted Obama on Libya as well but then, just to win, he would be displaying our current weakness to the world. So Mitt chose silence. Thank you, President Romney.

      • Good points! Whatever his reasons, he did well. About Trump: He’s saying that his big information could change the way everyone views Barry. I HOPE he’s not going to suddenly switch sides and come up with something in Barry’s favor. He says it might even change the way people vote, but he doesn’t say which way the change would go. What could he possibly have or know and why do this teasing crap like they all do? It’s extremely annoying.

  16. This is what married folks look like!!! We almost lost our president….

  17. I thought that Obama was using many of his typical campaign responses that we have heard over and over, he’d also go into another topic instead of staying on topic. Then he had to remind everyone that he was Commander in Chief several times. He did a segue into education from foreign policy touting his horn on something, then he talked about wanting to hire more match teachers – Obama doesn’t hire teachers. Obama said that Mitt’s record on education in Massachusetts had nothing to do with him. Romney retorted, with Obama being wrong and that he did what he said.

I loved the time that Romney brought up Obama’s apology tour when talking about how Iran saw the president’s weaknesses and then he named the incidents. 1) Iran saw the apology tour and Obama criticizing America. 2. The Green Revolution in Iran with the dissidents in the street crying for America’s help, and all they got was Obama’s silence. 3. Obama said there was daylight between Israel and the U.S. For these reasons, the Mullahs knew they had nothing to worry about with Obama as president. Then Romney talked about Obama’s trip to Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Iraq and that Obama skipped Israel and that didn’t go unnoticed by any country or Israel. Obama’s comeback, he said something like, “I didn’t apologize.” Everyone that looked at it said that wasn’t true.” Then Romney fed him his own words about saying that sometimes America was derisive and divisive. It was classic and a perfect ending statement to shut up Obama.

Shortly thereafter, Romney said that Obama went on Arabic TV and said “America had dictated to other nations.” Romney corrected Obama’s statement by saying, “America has not dictated to other nations, America has freed other nations.”

Romney believes a president must show strength in the beginning, the opposite of what Obama did on his trip through the Muslim countries.

Romney also said that having Obama attack him was not an agenda when they were talking about the tumultuous times occurring in the Middle East. Obama’s attacks were petty IMHO, and many were being used to change the topic. Obama tried to belittle Mitt, and if anyone listened to the other debates, you already knew where Mitt stood that Obama was trying to contradict.

Mitt also criticized Obama for his administration not getting a Status of Forces agreement in Iraq so that we would keep forces there to maintain the peace after the other troops were leaving. That was really Joe Biden’s job and it fell apart.

    • Obama is two, if not more, degrees of separation away from hiring teachers. States are responsible for education and schools. LOCAL schools hire teachers. Not the president. Not the federal government, which SHOULD have NO role in education.

About the apology tour: Don’t you know that the “nonpartisan” factcheckers have already declared that to be false?! (I guess that’s what Barry meant when he said “everyone that looked at it”. He means FactCheck and Politifact, most probably. Many others said that it was true, most especially the PEOPLE of the USA who SAW it; but the key there is that Barry doesn’t consider US among “everyone.” No, what he really means is everyone who IS ANYONE, and that excludes us bitter clingers who still believe in American exceptionalism.)

So the “everyone” say that Obama didn’t apologize. What he said amounted to an apology. When you go overseas and criticize and slam your own country in a bald-faced attempt to curry favor, that’s an apology. When you BOW to foreign potentates, that’s even worse. Romney should have called it his bowing tour. He also ought to have brought up the Greek columns and the fake Air Force I. The victory tour before there even was a vote.

  18. Miri….. Enlarge….that BARRY photo on DRUDGE & check out the inner EAR……
It looks…… very weird….indeed…… plastic insert?????

    • I don’t know about the ear, but that IS NOT a black man.

      • I thought the same thing last night, when I saw him at the debate. His skin color is very yellow. If he’s black, it’s very diluted. FMD looked at least half white. (I don’t know his ancestry.) If FMD is half white and SAD is the mom, then Barry is no more than 1/4 white. I actually think he looks Egyptian, especially from that photo on Drudge. Remember how he said he looks like King Tut when he went to Egypt? He DOES look more Arab/Egyptian than he looks sub-Saharan black, which is what he should be if BHO Sr. is his father. In addition, BHO Sr. was VERY dark. His “son” is not, but should be darker than he is. Remember the photos of his skin where it’s not exposed to sun? As white as most whites.

    • It is a really unflattering photo. That is a really strange ear! It looks like two giant holes, and the jowl on his cheek – a falling cheek is different too. I thought a plastic insert can’t be seen, so I don’t know how to recognize if there is something there or not because it looks like a black hole. I will check out the ear with the other ones. The scar sort of disappears, and I don’t think that is the normal line either. It is going straight up from his ear, and I remember it started behind his ear and went at a slant.

    • I think it’s a light reflection. Greasy ears? It makes me sick to look at him. I’m tired of looking at him. That’s an ugly picture. I saw another yesterday and his moles do SO resemble FMDs. Just sayin’.

      • Rosemary Woodhouse

I agree, Miri…greasy ears…UGH! BUT there is no doubt that he was much more articulate during the last debate and he kept giving questioning glances/odd facial expressions/head nods to an audience member. Signals of some sort of were given and received. It was so obvious! But it doesn’t explain his ability to speak extemporaneously without his usual “uh, uh, uh…ummmms” Something was definitely up. Not the usual teleprompter-less Barry.

The voting machine discrepancies are very disconcerting, to say the least. And in Palm Beach Country Florida, the Romney team is overseeing the botched misprinted ballots. A mess which on all counts, favor Obama. Boehner had better develop a set of balls. Many acts by Barry & Thuggery have been treasonous, but this news about the emails……Bohner…impeach his “azz”!

        • Rosemary Woodhouse

          County, not “country”

        • Doesn’t it seem that the voting mistakes always happen to the Democrats or favor them? In N.C., the ballots were defaulting to a win for Obama!

I agree about them doing something and doing it soon. It would be great if he left and lost his pension and all of the perks. I am concerned about the Lame Duck session and what they will try to do also when Barry leaves, or the EO’s that he’ll write. We know they are up to something, they always are.

          • You reminded me: I read over the weekend that Barry is “firming up” that executive order on cybersecurity (aka policing the Internet with the ability to shut it down in “emergencies”). He’ll pardon all in Guantanamo and probably that Blind Sheikh, too. Maybe Ayers and Dorhn and the others.

        • Yup. We noticed those pleading glances into the audience. I’m sure sign language was used or something. Maybe he can read lips. He is very creepy doing his Jeff Foxworthy imitation, which is certainly unWORTHY of a president of the USA. You know what? They have technology that projects words into the air. Maybe he was reading out of thin air.

    • “The veteran CBS newsman proved that a moderator can lay back without rolling over.”

I thought he did a good job. No interference from him and he asked specific questions to get to a point. He stopped Mitt a couple times, but I think he did the same to Obama.

I did think he was trying at one point with his hypothetical question to get Mitt to say he’d go to war, but Mitt refused to bite.

    • When the question was asked of Mitt it was an additional, only-for-Romney quesiton placed outside the debate; sort of off-the-record so to speak. He did this several times which was waaaaay outside the bounds of the debate rules but he did sooooo good.

    • “Mr. Obama said that what the country needs is “strong, steady leadership, not wrong and reckless leadership all over the map.”

I agree. That’s why Barry ought to RESIGN NOW.

    • You know it’s getting bad when the leader of the free world resorts to paraphrasing George Costanza from Seinfeld–a comedy program “about NOTHING.”

“‘The 1980s are now calling to ask for their foreign policy back,’ Mr. Obama said.”

btw, the pResident is paraphrasing a TV show from the mid-90s. Uh, that would be at least 15 years ago.

As a matter of fact, Barry’s “policy” of ARMING TERRORIST IN THE MIDDLE EAST is very much like the foreign policy of the ’80s, when we armed the fledgling Al Qaeda under OBL. Barry is arming the Libyans and the Syrians. And others. That should have come out. The newspaper today parsed it in an interesting way:

“ROMNEY on SYRIA: “What I’m afraid of is we’ve watched over the past year or so, first the president saying, `Well, we’ll let the U.N. deal with it.’ And Assad _ excuse me, Kofi Annan _ came in and said we’re going to try to have a cease-fire. That didn’t work. Then it went to the Russians and said, `Let’s see if you can do something.’ We should be playing the leadership role there.”

OBAMA: “We are playing the leadership role.”

THE FACTS: Under Obama, the United States has taken a lead in trying to organize Syria’s splintered opposition, even if the U.S. isn’t interested in military intervention or providing direct arms support to the rebels.”

Notice that they don’t say “isn’t providing direct arms.” And notice the word “direct”. They ARE providing INDIRECT arms to Syrian rebels. That’s what Stevens was DOING in Benghazi when he got killed. In fact, the rebels he was giving the arms to, via Turkey, were associated with AL QAEDA. It almost seems as if the writer KNOWS this and so that’s why the writer parsed it to give the impression that we’re not “interested” in arming them. We may no longer BE “interested” because we ARE arming them. Or at least BARRY and peeps are.

Allow me to split hairs, too. Supposedly a big gaffe is that Romney doesn’t know geography. The story is entitled, “flunking geography”. (Oh, I expect an “I can see Russia from my porch” lie coming on.) Romney answered a question, CORRECTLY:

“ROMNEY: “Syria is Iran’s only ally in the Arab world. It’s their route to the sea.”

THE FACTS: Iran has a large southern coastline with access to the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman. And it has no land border with Syria.

The Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman are NOT seas. The route Romney meant was the route to the Mediterranean SEA. While it’s true that Iran has no land border with Syria, it’s also true that Syria is their route to the SEA. Nowhere in his statement did Romney say that Iran shared any land border with Syria.

  19. President Barack Obama ended up revealing an astonishing level of ignorance about the state of military technology during the presidential debate in Boca Raton, FL Monday night.
    23 Oct 2012 Snips

The U.S. Commander-in-Chief misspoke about bayonets. He misspoke about horses. He misspoke about the size of the U.S. Navy. He misspoke about the makeup of the Navy. And the whole time, he thought he was teaching his opponent Mitt Romney a lesson.
Obama mocked Gov. Romney’s concerns about the diminished number of ships in the U.S. Navy by saying, “I think Gov. Romney maybe hasn’t spent enough time studying how our military works.”

Obama continued, trying his best to make the GOP challenger look foolish: “[Romney] mentioned that we have fewer ships than we did in 1916. Well… we also have fewer horses and bayonets, because the nature of our military’s changed. We have these things called aircraft carriers where planes land on them. We have these ships that go under water, nuclear submarines.” Obama added that it’s not about “counting ships,” it’s about “our capabilities.”

These comments rang out with a snarky condescension that was only surpassed by their complete lack of factual support.

    the USMC still using bayonets,

When our Special Forces invaded Afghanistan post-9/11, many did so on horseback.

Romney’s remarks about fleet size were centered around a concern that U.S. naval forces would in the near future be unable to operate in multiple regions of the globe simultaneously. While Obama dismissed this out of hand, Vice Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Mark Ferguson reached a similar evaluation months before the debate:
Perhaps President Obama “maybe hasn’t spent enough time studying how our military works”?

    • Former Sec. of Defense Rumsfeld – Obama’s horses and bayonets comment was insulting. The fact that the Navy is shrinking is an important discussion that deserved a thoughtful answer. Sequestration would be extremely harmful.

      • It was noted all over the place that Barry was snarky, disrespectful, insulting. Guess what? Vanity Fair has a new photo spread allegedly showing Romney being a mean prankster in high school. It’s hard to tell what exactly that is. Whether they recaption the photos or the context of the photos. So the hell what? Let them now publicize Barry’s Harvard Law Revue and have the public wonder why he wore a wedding ring in college and WHY he was called an “African” African-American. See here, here, and here for the TRUTH. And then Vanity Fair can publish the FACT THAT HIS OWN PUBLISHER, BACK AT THAT SAME TIME, SAID THEN AND FOR THE NEXT 16 YEARS THAT OBAMA WAS BORN IN KENYA. Does it relate to the office of the presidency whether a person, as a teenager, played pranks in high school? NO. Does it relate to the office of the presidency whether the person was born in another country. HONEY, YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT. Drudge calls it a “spoof”. Is it funny two weeks before the election? Not to me.

  20. Romney Wins, By a Bayonet
    22 Oct 2012 Snips

He had a better command of the facts, defended his positions well, and looked more presidential.

Obama was very aggressive throughout the debate–perhaps still trying to compensate for his lackluster first debate–using every single question to attack his opponent’s record and policies. That approach may have backfired, as it allowed Romney to strike a calmer, more stable posture. Romney’s apparent strategy was to give up scoring points on particular issues in favor of appealing to war-weary, politics-weary moderate voters.

But that did not mean Romney failed to fight–and fight he did, particularly on the issue of Iran, which he stressed repeatedly as the biggest threat to the U.S. and the greatest failure of the Obama administration. He also repulsed some of Obama’s attacks–when given the opportunity by a moderator who once again showed far greater favor to the incumbent–and occasionally used some of them to pivot to his favored policy points.

Obama went overboard in some of his criticisms of Romney, not only by striking a less presidential posture but by relying on factual assertions that were bound to be proven false afterwards.

Gateway Pundit has much about Barry’s mistakes with regard to military gear. A submarine is NOT a “ship”. A ship is a very large vessel that FLOATS, while a submarine is always called a “boat”.

      “Jeanne King
      10:52 am on Tuesday, March 13, 2012
Romney is coming not only to meet and greet Missouri citizens, he is also coming to speak w/ Dave MacArthur and his son “Moose”. Dave is a small business owner in the area (MacArthur’s Bakery) and has been on the Huckabee Show 2x taking and offering questions about small business and what it needs from government to grow/ sustain. While talking w/ Gov. Romney on the Huckabee Show, he asked Romney about benefits for our newest war veterans. Dave told the emotional story of his own 23 year old son, Moose, a Marine who has a brain injury due to wounding in Afghanistan. Moose has been having to “fight” to receive his purple heart, to receive other benefits due him. Gov. Mitt Romney is coming to St. Louis to talk w/ Moose and Dave to see what and how the government can do to honor and give to the veterans what they duly deserve. This is a not-to-be-missed opportunity of St. Louis area folk to see Romney at his most compassionate, Dave as a business man and father, and our to honor and support our young veteran, “Moose” MacArthur.”

Romney is helping pay for Moose’s care. Gateway Pundit points out that the troops STILL use horses. Remember them using them in Iraq? I do remember that now. The cavalry was coming!

Let’s not forget, also, that submarines are manned by “CORPSEmen”.

      • Somebody should also remind Barry of HISTORY: Submarines were used in the CIVIL WAR. That would be the 19th century! Air craft carriers were used in WWII, twenty years before Barry was allegedly born. (Before Romney was born, too.) Not exactly modern equipment.

      • I’m confused now and I don’t know for sure that horses were used in Iraq, but they most definitely were used in Afghanistan:

” Horse Soldiers is the dramatic account of a small band of Special Forces soldiers who secretly entered Afghanistan following 9/11 and rode to war on horses against the Taliban. Outnumbered forty to one, they pursued the enemy across mountainous terrain and, after a series of intense battles, captured the city of Mazar-i-Sharif, which was strategically essential if they were to defeat the Taliban.

The bone-weary American soldiers were welcomed as liberators, and overjoyed Afghans thronged the streets. Then the action took a wholly unexpected turn. During a surrender of six hundred Taliban troops, the Horse Soldiers were ambushed. Dangerously outnumbered, they fought for their lives in the city’s immense fortress, Qala-i-Janghi, or the House of War. At risk were the military gains of the entire campaign: if the soldiers perished or were captured, the effort to defeat the Taliban might be doomed.”

They’re also used to train Special Forces, which Barry uses extensively, so he SHOULD KNOW this:

“Although the glory days of the United States Cavalry are long gone, horses still serve the military. At Smith Lake Stables, adjacent to Fort Bragg, N.C., 36 horses are owned by the U.S. government and serve their country in two assignments. In one assignment, they act as equine ambassadors, linking the civilian public to the military. The horses are used in an annual summer camp program and in weekly day camp activities for home-schooled kids. But the horses’ most important role is their real job. They help prepare active duty personnel, particularly Army Special Forces troops, for challenges in foreign countries.”

  21. Two from Chris Tingle:
““I think they [the right] hate Obama. They want him out of the White House more than they want to destroy Al Qaeda. Their No. 1 enemy in the world right now, on the right, is their hatred, hatred for Obama. And we can go into that about the white working class in the South and looking at these numbers we’re getting the last couple days about racial hatred in many cases … this isn’t about being a better president, they want to get rid of this president,’ he said.””

Oh, my. Where to begin. Which enemy is more dangerous? The one outside or the one inside? This is a man who parlays with our enemies, arms them, and has them in his administration. Infiltration and subversion. And he’s also trying to do to our country what Reagan managed to do to destroy the Soviet Union–make them spend themselves into collapse. He’ll be more “flexible” after the election, he assures Putin via his stooge. So now Chris is declaring that all white working class people in the South are racists. Good idea, Chris. Fabulous for ratings. The white working class in the South? Many of them are DemoncRATS and union people, besides. Maybe they “hate” Barry’s policy of deliberately destroying their jobs–like in the coal industry that he famously promised to bankrupt? That’s one promise he’s kept.

This one’s unbelievable. Chris is STILL saying, even when Barry has admitted it’s not true, that the Benghazi attack was because of that video! (Of course, he’s not specific so maybe he’s talking about Al Zawahari’s video that was the “go” signal.)
“Chris Matthews berated a young Mitt Romney supporter over Benghazi today in Florida. Matthews told the kid, incorrectly, that he was wrong about the attack,

“Read a newspaper. It was all about a video.”

Of course, Matthews was wrong. There never was a protest at the consulate on the night of 9-11.

It was a planned terror attack.”

    • Right now I totally agree with Chris. I hate Obama and everything he stands for. I want Obama, MO, Grandma, and the kids along with Valerie and all of the Czars off government property! I want a huge rally at the White House the day they vacate and leave the premises. The cheers won’t be for them, even though they will think that, it will because they are on their way out. The signs should let them know we are glad they are gone so they don’t get the idea they will be missed. Giant signs telling him to “Eat your own damn peas!” would be great. I predict a “shellacking” for the demoncRats worse than was seen in 2010. (One has to wonder where BHO picked up that term that was used in the 1940’s. Also, the “eat your peas” origin is unknown.)

We can’t do much to hurt Al Qaeda from where we are, but we can all vote. And I did today! Today is the second day for early voting and there was a long line of voters around 11 which was surprising. There were election signs a block away and only a few close to the polling building which is unusual. The county did not offer paper ballots and no one could tell me why – just that they will no longer be offered. They had new machines but no one could tell me the manufacturer of the machines. They were computer type machines, and no one could tell me where they put these machines at night. They didn’t like my asking these questions, or else they really had no idea. Perhaps another crew comes in to handle things in the evening. There were no UN monitors either. (I didn’t expect them to be worried about our precinct anyway.)

      • Really, I agree, although personally I have no gripe against Mrs. Robinson. She seems like the most upstanding of the group. Or the kids, either. They have a hard enough karma going on there. Valerie out, especially. Yes. OUT of OUR HOUSE, Valerie. And Huma Weiner, too. Let’s hope she goes when Hillary leaves.

No paper ballots? That’s not a good sign. I was going to remind everyone to vote on PAPER, so there’s a trail. Do the electronics at least have a paper printout?

        • No printout. We were given a code to use after registering and showing ID. (driver’s license or voters registration card). The code is entered into the machine much like logging into any computer. The code is printed on a slip of paper, the size of adding machine tape. I must have turned away because I didn’t see where that code machine was located and didn’t think about it until now.

I looked it up and the machine was the new eSlate™ electronic voting equipment. Our county also says that paper ballots are available…and they did not have any. The County uses the “Hart InterCivic eSlate, a direct-recording electronic voting system, and the Hart InterCivic eScan voting unit which digitally captures vote selections from printed ballots. Hart InterCivic’s voting systems are the most widely-used electronic voting systems in the State of Texas. Hart’s systems are currently used in 102 Texas counties including five of the ten counties having the greatest number of registered voters.”

          • I thought all electronic voting machines had to have some kind of paper backup/audit trail so it’s possible to DO recounts. I don’t use the ones where I live, but people who do tell me that what they enter on the machine gets printed and that’s what they review to make sure their vote counted the way they want.

          • We’re voting tomorrow, but in our little area of Texas, we’ve always had paper ballots. Which I do prefer right now. Hope it’s not electronic, but I guess that it could be.

  22. ….I’m planning a DUMP~ ling… party & y’all are invited…. what’s not 2 like? …. I’m gearing up….. think ROMNEY!

    • They look good but not as good as my mammy’s chikin ‘n dumplin’s! 🙂 No recipe? Those look more like beignets. I’d love a dumpling party! How far do we have to travel?

  23. Brave enought to do what:

Brave enough to remove the bust of the person that stopped the Nazis?
Brave enough to stop America’s hope of financial resurgence by stopping the keystone pipeline?
Brave enough to gift aid to dangerous dictators?
Brave enough to say “no drilling on my patch” while giving money to Brazil,Columbia and Mexico to do just that?
Brave enough to increase welfare spending by 30%
Brave enough to give out free “Obama” phones to the needy on the tax payer’s dime?
Brave enough to prop up ailing projects and hand them over to the very unions who’s rules destroyed them in the first instance?
Brave enough to back to the Falklands in the dispute with the UK?
Brave enough to accept a million dollar payment for the Nobel peace prize when he admitted he didn’t deserve it?

    Just how brave is he?

    • Great graph! Easy to interpret, everybody. When the Dems took control of a majority of the government, look what happened. Slip sliding away …

  24. I can’t see the video, for some reason. Something wrong now with my Adobe flash player, BUT the text tells a lot:
“Rep Mike Rogers, Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, appeared on WMAL in Washington DC with Brian Wilson and discussed the Administrations response to the Al Qaeda attacks in Libya that killed four Americans including Amb. Chris Stevens. According to Rep. Rogers, files and documents that his committee had been waiting for were finally delivered yesterday at 5:00 PM, just hours before the final Presidential Debate that focused on foreign policy. “It certainly appears to me at at first blush that there was a a political interpretation and that’s always a dangerous thing. I think they put November 6th ahead of our national security.””

Even complying with the subpoena was political. They waited until it was too late to let Romney know what the story really was. So Rogers implies that they did politicize the reaction to the terror attack of 9/11/12.

    • I have had that problem at Breitbart for a couple weeks. I can’t see the video either. I updated Adobe and still some don’t work there.

This information must be exactly what I just posted from Greta. The timing was so Mitt might have walked right into it re Libya. Perhaps they – whoever got them – did let him know what those documents said prior to the debate.

      • Oh, I thought it was my computer and that I screwed things up! I updated the Adobe Flash Player and it said it did it correctly, but it still won’t show videos. Before I switched to Firefox, I was using Internet Explorer and it would lock up (not responding) almost every time I went to a Breitbart TV link, so I stopped going there. Firefox will handle the lock ups (after about a minute pause) but it still won’t show videos. It says I need to upgrade the player, but I’ve done it several times already. I’m just thinking of removing it and reloading it and hope that works! About the documents: It doesn’t seem as if they exonerate the administration. The Representative said they were putting the election ahead of national security. Well, that we already KNEW, didn’t we? They put their power and politics ahead of EVERYTHING. Mitt played it cool and apparently that was the right move. The lefties are amazed and astounded that even the independents and undecideds who thought Barry won the debate, many of them now say they are going to vote for Romney. So they thought his demeanor was better. They didn’t like how Barry won. He was very unpresidential, but then, he’s always been. I don’t know why so many never saw it before. Maybe he’s unpresidential because he’s really not potus. Ineligible all along.
