All Political Eyes Will Be Watching the Face-Off Tonight!
The Democrats are depending upon Vice President Joe Biden’s communication/debating skills to pull the them out of a deepening slump and the huge fall in the polls after Obama’s disastrous performance a week ago. The defeat came to the Empty Chair with Mitt Romney proclaimed the winner by both the left and the right. Obama was caught sleeping on the job and now he is waiting anxiously for Joe to save both their jobs. Will Joe be able to pull them out and get their re-election campaign back on the track? It’s a real long shot for the Democrats knowing Joe’s propensity to say the most outlandish things at the most inopportune times. Also working against Joe is the fact that he has to defend Obama’s lackluster accomplishments during the last four years. His real job tonight will be trying to defend the indefensible!
Mitt’s poll numbers are on the rise. His outstanding debate, knowledge, and leadership skills were seen by 68 million people during the presidential debate. The differences between the Empty Chair who has pretended to be president, and a real leader were on full display. Within a 90 minute debate, Americans contrasted and compared two men vying for the job as Leader of the Free World. Seeing Mitt in action and hearing his solutions to the problems the U.S faces made him a front-runner in states that were once considered Obama’s territory. Mitt’s choice of Paul Ryan as his running mate was his first decision as the Republican presidential nominee, and one that the Republicans and Independents wholeheartedly embraced.
Will the ultimate gaff prone Joe be any kind of competitor against the wonkish Paul Ryan? Armed with facts, Paul’s quick retorts may bury good ole’ Joe. Expectations are high for both sides and our bets are on young, fresh, invigorated and knowledgeable Paul. Knowing that Paul has already taken on Obama in Congress, Joe should be a piece of cake. Still, there are bound to be lots of surprises tonight!
This will be a real bout of ideas and solutions, and their tête-à-tête should exemplify the differences between the men as well as the parties. Tonight’s debate isn’t just the young statesman against the elder statesman, this is the fight for our country’s future. This is an ideological battle: capitalism vs socialism/communism. Liberty and freedom must win. We are banking on it! Mitt and Paul are ready and able to serve. They will unite our magnificent country that has been divided by the Radical Left that Marxist Obama and his party represents. Let’s make the score 2 – 0!

Chris Wallace says Biden was very disrespectful of his opponent. And I read that he continually interrupted Ryan. That’s the problem with these guys, I’m afraid. Barry and Joe don’t know the difference between being assertive and being arrogantly aggressive. Romney showed leadership, Barry and Joe showed rudeness. Too many progressives don’t know how to politely have a disagreement. All they know is ridicule, smirking, snarkiness, contempt. The people will see it. Krauthammer said that if you listened only, you might believe Biden won; but he didn’t win if you watched. Unfortunately for these JOKERS in the WH, people WATCHED and few listened on radio. Their flippant attitude is disturbing. We’re living through the worst economy since the Great Depression, 27 million plus out of work, no end in sight, possibly on the brink of WWIII, being targeted by jihadists, and Europe on the verge of collapse–and Barry and Biden? THE RING SCANDAL DEEPENS? Another BHO Operative Forgery Coverup?
That’s interesting. Right at 2:27, there’s an image that shows that the photo at “Urban Legends” (likely the same photo as at Snopes) has some strange “gold residue” on Obama’s finger. What could that be? It’s not ordinary for someone to have gold dust on his finger, but maybe he’s had a visit by Tinkerbell. Fairy dust. So the question is: Did somebody “enhance” that photo to make it look more like snaky swirls instead of Arabic writing? I noticed that myself. I found the source photo and that’s why I commented about how I don’t understand how these guys can enlarge a photo so well–making it “high def” from a smaller source. When I enlarged it, it pixelated and it was hard to see any detail. Gordo? Any opinion how this happens?

This one from yesterday:
In the montage, the image at the top left is the Snopes version. Right next to it is their source. That image was very tiny. But it’s easy to see that there’s no pixie dust on that version and that the image is modified. It looks as if they tried to smear out the inscription to make it resemble the loops below. Look at the image immediately below the Snopes image–you can see that the swirls differ.
From looking at these various images, it appears that there is some kind of repeating pattern on the ring, between the vertical lines (looking like wire wrapped around it). In the “cartouches” there seem to be some kind of script. Not just those loops. Because a ring spins around a person’s finger, we can’t know for sure that we’re always looking at the same part of the ring. That Urban Legends and Snopes were onto this SO QUICKLY is suspicious. As is that gold fairy dust on the finger. How do they explain that?
The photo from yesterday also shows clearly that the swirls are not the same.

Note especially how the swirls on that top cartouche do NOT resemble the ones on the lower one, although in the Snopes image, they do. Now, this could be because it was photoshopped; it could be because Snopes is looking at another part of the ring; or it could be that the ring was modified (repaired) in such a way as to remove the Islamic inscription. However, how do you explain the “gold dust” and the fact that the upper cartouche on the Snopes image looks as if the gold has been struck repeatedly to mash down the inscription? Could this just be an artifact of someone messing with the image, trying to make the loops at the top look like those at the bottom? Filling in spaces to create loops where there were none before?
I hate to cite this, but Dr. Con (I won’t link to him) has posted images of a ring that he claims are on Barry’s finger. He claims he took the photos himself. He claims Barry was wearing the ring and he shows images of similar gold ELEPHANT-HAIR rings. The ring is an elephant-hair gold ring, but it’s NOT the ring Barry wears as his wedding ring. It looks nothing like it nor does the hand modeling it look like Barry’s hand. I do believe (1) that he’s putting people on to try to persuade them to waste a bunch of time debunking his offerings by comparing the hand and the ring (NEITHER look like Barry’s) or (2) it’s possible that Barry did “model” another ring just for this purpose. In either case, it’s typical obot behavior.

Were images that formed the basis for the determination by Arabic-language experts that Barack Obama’s ring is Islamic manipulated to “fit an agenda”? That’s the charge in a posting by the blog ObamaReleaseYourRecords.com that cites an unnamed “computer software and graphics expert.” The source contends computer-imaging software was used to deepen shadows to make details in the lighted areas “look more like an Arabic letter rather than a squiggly design.”
Joel Gilbert, who was first to conclude that the ring bears the Islamic declaration of faith, the Shahada, explained that the only adjustment he made to images from a 2010 Huffington Post feature was to reduce the contrast about 50 percent. His aim was to enable the detail in the ring to be seen without being overwhelmed by the background light.
In his analysis, he included a photo of the original, without any change in contrast, to show that he made no alterations in the ring’s patterns.

An About.com blogger was first to use the photo to argue that the ring’s swirling pattern is just a stylistic design, not Arabic symbols.

The battle of the experts! Boy. Where does the truth lie? Mara says that Getty image isn’t photoshopped, and yet I’d like an explanation of the fairy dust. I don’t know about you, but looking at the various images that were not darkened, I still don’t see how ALL of them show simple swirls.
The explanation may be that there’s a repeating or varying pattern of “cartouches” around that ring and different photos show different areas of the ring. If it’s an heirloom from Indonesia–say it belonged to Lolo and Barry got it before he died–then it could show BOTH that Indonesian royal batik pattern in some cartouches and then also words of the Shahada on other cartouches. One would expect it to be symmetrical, so those parallel loops that look like rings around the side of the ring, simulating elephant hair wrapping, might delineate the different cartouches. I think the fact that Dr. Con put out all those misdirecting/misleading photos allegedly of Barry’s ring is certainly suspicious.

Vice President Joe Biden claimed that the administration wasn’t aware of requests for more security in Libya before the Sept. 11 attacks on the U.S. mission in Benghazi during Thursday night’s debate, contradicting two State Department officials and the former head of diplomatic security in Libya.
“We weren’t told they wanted more security. We did not know they wanted more security there,” Biden said.
In fact, two security officials who worked for the State Department in Libya at the time testified Thursday that they repeatedly requested more security and two State Department officials admitted they had denied those requests.

AT THE TIME being the key operative PARSED words. They didn’t know when the embassy asked, but when DID they know? They don’t make clear what time “at the time” is. Did they mean they didn’t know when they spoke up and blamed the assassination/Al Qaeda 9/11/12 TERRORIST attack on a video or when (at the exact time) that the embassy staff asked Lamb (to the slaughter) for more security? When did they FINALLY learn? Within 24 hours of the attack? When everybody else learned? WHEN? Before or after they LIED?
First they blamed the “intelligence community” and now they blame the State Dept. Either they’re in charge, setting policy, or they’re not. Either way, they’re INCOMPETENT or WILLFULLY NEGLIGENT or WORSE.
I was willing to give Biden a pass knowing that he has been sequestered practicing for his shameful debate for the last week and that is why his response was in direct conflict with what the people said at the hearing. Yet, at the same time he put the intelligence agencies under the bus in his comments, and in his way saying that they were stupid enough to say that the film was responsible for the attacks worldwide. David Petraeus (CIA) said on Sept. 14th in a meeting that some people suggested that it was the film…that is probably not all that was said.
I can’t imagine that the CIA or other agencies didn’t recognize the attack as a terrorist attack. That would be mind boggling when all we had to do was recognize the day and see the results of the attack as being attributed to terrorists. Why would the CIA want to go under the bus for Obama’s administration? Who is pushing the party line in the military or at the intelligence agency? Someone at the CIA or whatever agencies are involved. When will they come forward? Obama et al has lambasted both the CIA and the FBI throughout the last four years and made them look like fools. Who will leak what was really said to the WH or the State Department about the attacks? These security agency employees are NOT covered in Obama’s newest Executive Order regarding whistle blowers.
It could be true that Obama and Biden knew nothing about the potential attacks and warnings coming from Libya if neither attended or read their daily security reports. That isn’t just incompetence that is dereliction of duty.
I admire the two whistle blowers for forcing Congress to open an investigation into this horrific incident and hope they will get to the bottom of this. The State Department employee, named Jim, is the one that denied additional security for the diplomat Stevens. Jim should be next on the list to be interviewed at the next hearing, as well as Rice and Hillary. Rice, Obama and Hillary were the ones who had the biggest megaphones stating the attack was in response to that stupid film. Most embarrassing is that Obama and Hillary blamed the film during the memorial service for the four slain Americans. With the coffins lined up in back of them, they told the lie to the family members. Unforgivable. As we have read, Susan Rice has kept up the lie when family has asked for specifics on how their loved ones died.
The White House is now defending VP Biden’s comments on security in Libya. How many lies before we get the truth. Then why was it that the FBI was sent to Libya instead of the CIA – and didn’t get there for 23 days?
Have you seen the new meme that accuses Issa and other Republicans of “blowing the CIA cover” in Benghazi? It’s really a stretch and they’re trying to shift the blame away from Barry and his failures by claiming (a la Valerie Plame) that THEY are putting embassy people and CIA operatives at risk just by asking questions.
This administration has hidden behind executive privilege and national security too long. The State Dept. people testified to the information and THEY also said, when a Republican objected that perhaps what they showed was sensitive, that it was NOT classified. It’s typical lamestream stupidity.
The Republicans on the committee were trying to protect any “assets” while Hillary’s people were drawing pictures! The allegation is that the consulate was under the State Dept. but the “annex” was CIA. AS IF there would have been any difference in the outcome regardless. The embassy and the annex were DESTROYED by a Jihadist terror attack on the anniversary of 9/11. What difference does it make WHOM the dead and wounded reported to?
AS IF the Libyans and others didn’t suspect or KNOW who these people were. They were working with them.
It seems to me that Issa can get the emails and other messages that will show for certain whether or not the WH was notified when the embassy asked for more security. There’s NO WAY that I can see that knowing the risk, they refused them the security UNLESS orders came down from above.
It’s said that they were concerned about the “appearance” of a barbed-wire-enclosed, militarized compound in a place where Barry wants to look friendly. That sounds so totally Barry. To avoid looking “imperialistic”. It’s of a piece with having our troops over there, sitting ducks, waiting to be killed, with one hand tied behind their backs and “rules of engagement” that they cannot fight back. Note that at that link, they say that two newspapers had already reported that the Benghazi location was CIA!
I thought it was Lamb who denied the additional security. So the story morphs again. Who’s Jim?
Allegedly, they’re going to interview Rice in secret. So likely she won’t be UNDER OATH. They ALL need to be under oath. We need Watergate-like hearings. Huma definitely plays a role in this. I can smell it. It took the FBI 23 days to arrive and then they stayed for only 12 hours?! Some investigation.
Another odd thing I read in a story accusing Issa of outing the CIA: Some CIA exist in these consulates only to protect INFORMATION, not people. I assume that means to shred, destroy, keep out of the hands of the enemy, any information on paper, computer, etc. So, who was doing the same for the information in Benghazi? Nobody thought to protect the ambassador’s diary. What else wasn’t protected and is now in the hands of Al Qaeda?

Justice Dept. urged to investigate Obama’s Internet fundraising

Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus stated on Thursday that he was requesting the Attorney General Eric Holder and the Department of Justice to initiate a full investigation into President Barack Obama’s Internet fundraising for his re-election “war chest.”
Priebus sent a letter to Attorney General Holder on Thursday demanding a probe of the Obama campaign’s “troubling pattern of behavior” in fundraising which could violate campaign laws by accepting online campaign contributions from foreigners. “The President’s campaign committee does not use the industry standard practices to guard against receiving fraudulent or excessive contributions via the Internet,” Priebus wrote in his letter to Holder.

However, as reported by the Examiner, during the 2008 election cycle, there were allegations that Obama’s campaign accepted donations from Palestinians. The Obama administration claimed they returned the money, but the Palestinian denied receiving the $30,000 contribution.

For Jesse Jackson Jr., the hits keep on coming. The Illinois congressman is currently under investigation by the FBI and federal prosecutors for alleged financial improprieties, including a possible misuse of funds monitored by Congress, according to NBC News. Sources have said that this investigation in not related to the earlier probe regarding the “scheme to persuade ex-Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich to name him to the Illinois Senate seat of Barack Obama in exchange for $1 million in campaign contributions from a top fundraiser.” In addition, Jackson’s spokesperson is unable to find the representative but suspects the troubled politician is in Washington, D.C.
The sources said it was unclear whether Jackson, who has not been seen in his office for months, would be charged before the November election — a subject that was discussed between Jackson’s lawyers and the prosecutors this week. Jackson’s lawyers urged the prosecutors not to file charges before the election — but prosecutors refused to make any commitments, the sources familiar with the meeting said.
Either way, the new investigation could ratchet up pressure for Jackson to step aside. Despite his illness — which his office has said involves his treatment for bipolar disorder — Jackson is running for re-election, seeking a 10th term.
The sources did not specify the financial irregularities being investigated. But the Sun-Times said the case involves misuse of funds or an account monitored by Congress. It comes weeks after a report that Jackson and his wife, Chicago alderwoman Sandi Jackson, put their Washington DC home on the market for $2.5 million. He left the Mayo Clinic and went back to Washington, D.C. in early September but has not returned to work.

The prosecutors want to charge before the election to force him out so that the DemoncRATS can put forth a new, more pliable, more acceptable-to-Barry candidate–one who isn’t at risk of spilling any beans. But, if you think that Hillary Clinton is going down without a fight, you would be sorely mistaken. Already former President Bill Clinton has stepped in to give his wife some aid in the matter. Ed Klein at the Daily Caller writes, My sources tell me that Clinton is working on a strategy that will allow Hillary to avoid having Benghazi become a stain on her political fortunes should she decide to run for president in 2016. Bill Clinton has even gone so far as to seek legal advice about Hillary’s liability in terms of cables and memos that might be subpoenaed by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, which this week launched an investigation into the deaths of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans. The committee will also examine the apparent Obama administration cover-up that followed the Benghazi attack.
Finally, I’m told that Bill is playing with various doomsday scenarios, up to and including the idea that Hillary should consider resigning over the issue if the Obama team tries to use her as a scapegoat. That seems unlikely to happen. But if relations between Obama’s White House and Hillary’s State Department rupture publicly over the growing Benghazi scandal, that could damage the Democratic ticket and dim Obama’s chances for re-election.
Barack Obama has taken some initiative to protect his Attorney General Eric Holder, though it is possibly because of his own involvement in Operation Fast and Furious. Bob Schieffer even asked Elijah Cummings point blank on Face the Nation whether he’s saying that the State Dept. was incompetent on this one. Cummings was spouting the party line spin–wait for the investigation. This is “turning into a witch hunt.” The Republicans are to blame because they cut the State. Dept. budget.
But Issa had already revealed on the show, earlier, that there’s $2 billion in discretionary funds they could have used and that this “cut” was only a reduction in the INCREASE Obama asked for. They had plenty of money.
No matter the state of their budget, it goes without saying that ANYBODY with common sense would prioritize how to spend limited funds, with LIVES being the highest priority and parties in Colombia NOT being high priority.

The reason for it was that they didn’t want the “APPEARANCE” of a fortified place where they were supposedly trying to be friends with the Libyans. He was asked why he thought the US delayed sending help to Benghasi and then sent in the FBI. He said it was to stall it through November 6th. Why not address the security needs/requests? Well said, Daily Pen! Now this is what I LOVE to see. INDISPUTABLE PROOF that the Hawaiian birth announcements and even Hawaiian birth records are GIVEN to foreign-born individuals. Note the word “native”:
“In fact, during our investigation beginning in 2009, archived census schedules taken in Hawaii in 1950, 1940, 1930 and 1910 have been cross-referenced with Hawaiian newspaper birth announcements which reveal thousands of foreign births which were registered in Hawaii where the foreign child was issued a “native” birth certificate by Hawaiian SOS office. One of the 4300 examples we obtained from Hamilton library’s archive records includes the birth of a son to Eikichi Iwamura in 1933. According to 1950 census schedule volume 14, sheet 39, line 35, Mr. Iwamura resided in Hawaii’s 66th Electoral district with his wife, daughter and his seventeen year old son, Einoshi who, according to the census enumeration, was born in Japan as so stated on the original schedule card. However, a birth announcement for Einoshi was published and registered in the Hawaiian Secretary of State office archives showing the birth occurred in Honolulu and Einoshi was issued a Hawaiian birth certificate stating he was born in Hawaii when, in fact, he was not. This is just one example of thousands our investigative team found.”
The only thing Obama’s campaign averred back in 2008, is that he was a “native” citizen. I hope it’s true that they have “thousands of pieces of evidence which clearly shows beyond any doubt that the State of Hawaii issued birth certificates to foreign born children which state that they were born in Hawaii when they were not.”
To state that, they need more than a birth announcement in the paper. They need to see the birth certificate to know whether or not the record itself actually places the birth IN HAWAII and not in the country where the person was really born, although they do state that Einoshi has a record in the SoS archives stating he was born in Hawaii when he was born in Japan.
At the very least, though, this well and truly debunks the birth announcements as proof of ANYTHING. But we did that already, by simple logic:
“A son” is not necessarily the pResident of the WH. “Mrs.” is not necessarily the alleged wife of BHO Sr. known as (sometimes) Ann Dunham, because at the time he had another wife or three.

I’m amazed at that. They are rationalizing that the scanner itself turned the word “THE” in a STAMPED image into a NON-WORD “TXE”? How could or would that happen? The only way I could imagine this happening is if the scanning was done to use character recognition. It’s been proven that OCR was NOT used. But even if it were, why would the scanner mistake the most common word in the English language for a non-word?

Passports wouldn’t be required.
But those assurances gave way to a sinking feeling as they tried to board the Carnival Imagination in Miami. When Giannasca’s mother arrived at the dock with the family on June 18, a Carnival representative examined her paperwork and shook her head. “Uh-oh,” the agent said. “This is the wrong form.”
Vittoria Giannasca should have brought a naturalization form with a raised seal, a little detail that the Carnival sales agent apparently had failed to mention. AND the cruise line would NOT refund the money. Family is out over $3000 BECAUSE the government, after 9/11, required persons like that 71-year-old to present documents with a RAISED SEAL in order to board ships. This lady was prevented from taking a celebratory cruise for her 71st birthday, she was screwed out of over $3000 bucks as a result, and YET Obama is allowed to sit in the WH without providing one SHRED of proof of his own citizenship, much less a certified paper document with a RAISED SEAL ON IT.
Again, I have to disagree with Daily Pen in his allegation that because, for STATISTICAL REASONS, the census “allocated” births to the county of the mother’s residence, then that means that the birth records ALLOCATED the birth location to the mother’s place of residence. The record MIGHT correctly state the place of birth, e.g. as Kenya, while the STATISTICS sent to the feds counted the birth as a Hawaiian birth. Why? Because it was assumed the kid would live with the mother and thus be a resident, too, and all residents are counted for the purposes of handing out federal largesse. You cannot assume that how they counted residents is how they made up the birth certificates. We know of the one example (Sun Yat Sen) where a person born overseas DID have a birth certificate claiming a birth in Hawaii, but we need more recent and indisputable proof.
He says, “Therefore, it became federal policy that all children born abroad to U.S. resident mothers were allowed, within a year of the birth, to register the birth in the U.S. and receive a U.S. birth certificate stating the place of birth as the same as the residence of the mother.”
I would like to see that federal policy. Policy is not law. We need proof that this is what Hawaii did–that they put the birthplace AS Hawaii when they knew that it was not. I think it’s more likely that, in Obama’s case, if he does have a BC stating birth in Hawaii when he was not born there, then Hawaii, without verification, accepted an affidavit stating he was born on Hawaiian soil.
