The Planes, The Planes! The Warships!
Those Are Not United States Planes or Warships!
The Democrats thought no one would notice. Amid all of the pomp and circumstance at the Democratic National Convention, do you know what they projected on their huge screens? Shown in vivid display were Russian warships and Turkish jets! This newest revelation about the jets was reported by the Daily Caller today in their article, “NOT JUST THE SHIPS: Fighter jets in Dem convention’s military montage were Turkish, not America.”
The Daily Caller stated that “Martin Rosenkranz, a military aircraft expert and editor-in-chief of a military aviation journal in Austria, revealed the fighter jets’ origin.”
“The jets are most likely from the Turkish air force [because] the formation and the type (F-5) flown is very typical of the seven-ship formation flown by the Turkish Air Force Display Team known as the ‘Turkish Stars. There is no other display team worldwide” that uses a similar seven-aircraft formation.”
Only 6 days ago, the Navy reported that the warships displayed at the Democrat’s convention were not those of the United States naval fleet, but instead were photos of Russian warships. From the Navy Times, “Russian Ships Displayed at DNC tribute to Vets”! Yes, you read that right. The Democrats Honored U.S. Veterans With Russian Warships!” This was the scenic backdrop for a speech given by a 4-star navy admiral; United States Admiral John B. Nathman .
The DNC issued an apology and, of course, it wasn’t their fault that Russian warships were shown instead of American ships. Whose fault was it? A vendors! Yes, some unidentified vendor chose that photo of Russian warships, they say.
This is how the DNC responded to the U.S. Navy for the disgusting anti-American scenery shown to millions worldwide and that provided the setting for an admiral and all of the veterans standing behind him on that stage. Their apology reads,
“Due to vendor error, incorrect images appeared briefly on screen behind fifty-one veterans during the convention and the DNCC apologizes for this mistake…This error should not distract from the words of Admiral Nathman and others who spoke to President Obama’s strong record on issues that impact those who have served our nation.”
“We’re proud of the service and sacrifice of our veterans and military families, and while they were an important and active part our of convention, Mitt Romney failed to even mention them in his speech in Tampa.”
Does anyone believe that is truthful? A vendor error? Is that a respectful apology? Not in my eyes. They are telling the U.S. Navy that the sight of Russian warships shouldn’t distract? What does Russia’s President Putin think about his warships being presented as American? In hindsight, they wished they could say it was Bush’s fault.
How many “oops” by the Democrats are going to be excused by U.S. Citizens and the armed forces serving to protect them? One oops is one to many!
The military showed their disdain for their commander-in-chief when he spoke to our soldiers in one of his campaign stops. It was on August 31, 2012 that Obama’s speech at Fort Bliss, TX was met not only by silence but light applause. He tried to get them “all fired up and ready to go.” He praised soldiers and they gave him an embarrassingly tepid response. It was so bad that the Obot networks of CNN and MSNBC stopped covering his speech before it was half-over.
Similarly, his [Obama’s] declaration that “around the world there’s a new attitude toward America, a new confidence in our leadership” yielded only silence, while his next sentence — “When people are asked ‘Which country do you admire most?’ one nation always comes out on top, the United States of America” — prompted relative enthusiasm.
No fake, staged applause this time for Obama. He got what he deserves. Our troops aren’t stupid, they recognize incompetence, insincerity, and dishonor. They don’t recognize or have confidence in his leadership and they responded accordingly …with silence. Obama hasn’t conned our troops.
Is it any wonder why the Democrats want to prevent voting by our soldiers and military overseas? They are fully aware that the military isn’t on Obama’s side. On August 20, John Fund reported for the National Review “Military Voting Rights Under Fire in Ohio. Overseas and military voters face obstacles to voting and deserve accommodation.”
“Lawyers for the Obama campaign and the Democratic National Committee marched into federal court last week to argue that it is unconstitutional for Ohio to allow military voters to cast in-person early ballots on the Saturday through Monday before Election Day, given that early voting for all other voters stops on the Friday before Election Day.
Apparently, Team Obama has decided to take a break from howling about the alleged injustice of voter-ID laws to argue that military voters don’t deserve an occasional accommodation.”
Our armed forces vote heavily Republican, and they are committed to ensuring military strength. Obama’s foreign policy of apologies, unclenching his fist, and backing terrorist groups seeks to weaken the United States abroad while defunding our military, and decreasing our military might. His failed policies occurred at a time when the world was on fire and now is blazingly out of control. In March, Obama even assured Putin through outgoing Russian President Dmitry Medvedev when he whispered “that he will have “more flexibility” to deal with contentious issues like missile defense after the U.S. presidential election.” Obama’s statement was caught on an open mike for all of us to know his intentions. What other secret messages perhaps traitorous ones did Obama send to the incoming Russian President?
On September 7, the Washington Times reported that Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta was sent a letter from six Republican senators asking him to ensure that our troops stationed overseas will be able to register and vote. They said,” Pentagon officials are ignoring a 2009 law that ordered the military to set up a special voting-assistance office at every U.S. base around the world.” If anyone deserves to vote, they are the men and women in our armed forces. They have more than earned that right to vote. Our soldiers have more right to vote than do the felons that the democrats are backing in getting their rights restored.
Adding further insult to injury this years Democratic National Convention may be remembered as the most gauche, anti-American, anti-God, anti-Christian, anti- Israel, and anti-Jerusalem convention in U.S. history. To those labels we will now add anti-military. The radical left ideology of the Democrats was on full display in Charlotte, North Carolina, so it is hardly surprising to find that their anti-war stance included surreptitiously insulting our armed forces.
We honor the men and women who serve in our military. They are not to be insulted by the Ismistas who associate with the Democratic Party. Instead, it is the Democrats who are an insult to faithful, law-abiding, patriotic Americans.
How will this latest anti-American blunder of pretending that Turkish jets are U.S. Jets be answered by the DNC? By another discourteous and rude apology? We know this was no vendor error. This was no mistake. These were totally planned as jabs and insults at our military. They did not expect to be caught. They have, twice.
The Democrats insulted our proud Navy and Air Force and those insults affect all mighty branches of our armed forces.
This will not be forgotten.
We will make sure of it in November!
