Breaking: Senator Orrin Hatch demands Eric Holder’s Resignation Over Fast and Furious!

Utah Republican Sen. Orrin Hatch has joined his congressional colleagues in demanding Attorney General Eric Holder’s resignation in the wake of Operation Fast and Furious. Hatch made the call during a Wednesday interview on former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee’s radio show. “Well if he doesn’t cooperate with the Congress on this Fast and Furious, where one of our agents was killed because of the stupidity of this administration, then he ought to step own,” Hatch said.

Hatch becomes the fourth U.S. senator to demand Holder’s resignation over the scandal. Texas Republican Sen. John Cornyn demanded Holder’s resignation to the attorney general’s face during a Tuesday Senate Judiciary Committee hearing. Republican Sens. Jim DeMint, Johnny Isakson and James Inhofe did so beforehand.
Two sitting governors — Bobby Jindal of Louisiana and Rick Perry of Texas — join those senators, as do 129 House members and presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney in pushing for Holder to step down.
Say what you will about Senator Hatch, but he is right and pointing out that it was the stupidity of the Obama regime that got all of these hundreds of people killed.

Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. on Tuesday came under a withering attack from Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee over his handling of the botched “Fast and Furious” gunrunning investigation, including a call by one senior committee member for his resignation.
During a heated exchange at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Sen. John Cornyn of Texas said Mr. Holder had failed “the basic standards of political independence and accountability” in determining who knew about or approved the “walking” of guns into Mexico, saying “Americans deserve an attorney general who will be honest with them. [Honest isn’t a word describing Eric!] “You have proven time and time again, sadly, that you’re unwilling to do so. I’m afraid we have come to an impasse … you have violated the public trust, in my view,” he said. “It is more with sorrow than regret and anger that I would say that you leave me no alternative, than to join those who call upon you to resign your office.”

“HBO has apologized for using a model head of former President George W. Bush in a grisly decapitation scene for its hit drama “Game of Thrones.”
The tenth episode of the first season of “Game of Thrones,” now out on DVD, features the younger Bush’s head on a stake. Commentary on the DVD notes that his head appears in a “couple of beheading scenes.”
The show creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss stated that George W. Bush’s was used as physical inspiration to create a head for a scene in which King Joffrey shows Sansa Stark her deceased father’s head on a stick.
“It’s not a choice, not a political statement!” one of the writers insisted during the DVD commentary. “We just had to use what heads we had around.”
HBO did not respond to FOXNews.com’s request for comment, but as outrage mounted Wednesday, the network released a statement saying they were “deeply dismayed to see this and find it unacceptable, disrespectful and in very bad taste.” HBO also said the scene would be removed from future DVD pressings.
The producers also attempted to explain the incident.
“We use a lot of prosthetic body parts on the show: heads, arms, etc. We can’t afford to have these all made from scratch, especially in scenes where we need a lot of them, so we rent them in bulk,” their statement read.
“After the scene was already shot, someone pointed out that one of the heads looked like George W. Bush. In the DVD commentary, we mentioned this, though we should not have. We meant no disrespect to the former President and apologize if anything we said or did suggested otherwise.””
They meant no disrespect! But his head was reportedly used in OTHER scenes. I think a visit from the Secret Service and/or the FBI is in order. What’s good for constitutional conservatives and EPA criticizers is good for the progressive lefties at HBO and in Hollywood in general. This IS truly outrageous. Imagine if FOX had produced a similar story and used Obama’s head in the same way.
Fox News reveals the truth and that is that some were calling for a boycott of HBO for being “uncool”. So, money talks. And they apologize, not because they care about GWB (btw, they’re putting out a documentary about his father; I’m sure that will have NO political statements in it, either) but because they care about their bottom line. They say they’ll have the head removed from any future DVD productions, but they OUGHT to recall it and remove it NOW from every version, or at least from every DVD that’s not yet shipped.
It’s disgraceful and hateful. THIS, from the very type of people who criticized Sarah Palin for the use by someone in her campaign of a “target” over congressional DISTRICTS (not people) that they wanted to defeat in an election.
HBO touted the use of GWB’s head when they were advertising the DVDs. How do you explain THAT if it’s not a political statement? It’s the same kind of attempted subliminal snark their messiah uses all the time. Juvenile, adolescent behavior.
btw, the fans of the books upon which that series is based are outraged at the way they’ve taken the stories “soft” (or not so soft) PORN. It was covered in several lamestream newspapers how they sensationalized the sex and misogyny in the story. For that reason, I wouldn’t watch it, anyway.

Their excuse for using GWB’s head makes no sense and is an insult to viewers, the American people, and especially to the Bush family. Heads should roll at HBO (pun intended) but they will not because there is no accountability and because they still secretly applaud the person who made the decision to do this. They just thought it wouldn’t become an issue because they have not noticed yet that the worm has turned. They still live in their little insular communities of commies and not in the real world.

We the People give FREE cell phone service to food stamp recipients and fraud in this program is growing exponentially since Barry came into office. (I reported on this somewhere several times before.)
“In 2011, the FCC estimated the cost (page 153) of the program would be $2.1 billion and said it would reach $3.3 billion by 2014 absent major reforms. The FCC also found that part of the problem with the program was rampant fraud:
[O]ur ongoing oversight has revealed that a substantial number of subscribers are receiving duplicative Lifeline support, which includes individuals receiving two or more Lifeline benefits from ETCs as well as two or more individuals in a household receiving benefits from multiple ETCs.
How bad is the fraud? A survey conducted by the FCC across 17 states and territories found that, on average, 9% of phone recipients were ineligible (page 243). In some states like Alabama, New Hampshire, and West Virginia, the ineligibility rate was 18-19%. And all of that is based on a survey to which 27% of users refused to respond to questions.”
Let’s imagine, too, all the nefarious things that could be organized with these taxpayer-funded cell phones.

And it just occured to me that since We the People perhaps pay for the cell phones of all these “Lifeline” recipients, we will also probably be paying for the donations they make to Barry’s campaign via their taxpayer-supplied cell phones.

“Xtreme Payment Processing raised concerns about people abusing the anonymity of text donations. It warned that donors could circumvent the $50 limit by making donations through a prepaid cell phone. [EXACTLY what those free LIFELINE phones are. Right?] By law, those phones don’t have to be registered to anyone and the major carriers that make the phones do allow text donations.
Another concern is the possibility of foreign nationals, who are banned from giving money to candidates, using an American cellphone to make a donation. Corporations, which aren’t allowed to donate anonymously, could also encourage individuals to use their corporate-owned cell phones to donate. [Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc.]
“It is time for new technology, certainly, but we think it’s important to proceed with caution here,” said Susan Hampel, Xtreme Payment’s executive vice president, who wrote the letter of concern. “The FEC has spent so many years and so much effort to safeguard the system and help identify where moneys are coming from, now we worry the floodgates are open a lot more than the have been leaving room for potential abuse.”
Despite these concerns, the FEC concluded that the proposal is consistent with its legal requirements.”
The floodgates opened in 2008 and Barry’s FEC did NOTHING to investigate the fraud and criminal donations from that campaign season. And why should they?
I want to know if it’s possible that We the People MIGHT end up paying for the cell phones, the service, AND even the donations made to Barry VIA these phones? This story cites “prepaid cell phones”. Is that the kind that the Lifeline phones are and how does it work that a person buys “minutes” that end up being campaign donations? There is no phone bill with a prepaid phone, is there? Are the donated minutes converted into dollars? Or what? Anybody know?
Along the same lines as this effort (to counteract the results of the Citizens United SCOTUS ruling), AARP and FLACKcheck (yes, another Annenberg effort) are teaming up to try to get seniors and other citizens to help the DemoncRATS and Obama to intimidate local TV and radio stations into REFUSING TO RUN third-party ads that don’t tell the “truth” as they see it. Since we’ve had numerous reports already about how FactCheck and Politifact (Obama-connected, partisan, self-appointed “fact checkers”) continue to go to extreme measures to call Romney’s ads not totally truthful, then you can imagine how they will then intimidate TV and radio stations into REFUSING TO RUN ANY PRO-ROMNEY ADS. http://www.aarp.org/politics-society/government-elections/info-06-2012/be-a-super-pac-watchdog.html

“This year has seen an unprecedented amount of third-party advertising. The level of inaccuracy in the third-party presidential ads has been high. [According to the partisan “factcheckers”] As an Annenberg Public Policy Center study shows, from the Iowa caucuses through the Wisconsin primary, almost 57 percent of the $41.1 million deployed by the four highest-spending third-party groups was devoted to 19 ads containing misleading claims. [Let’s guess which ads were mostly deemed “misleading.” Can you guess? I can.]
The deceptions were of the sort that shift votes. …
It’s not hard to imagine a voter, misled by such claims, rejecting a candidate she would otherwise support. [It’s not hard for a PROGRESSIVE to “imagine” that voters are easily misled. They think we’re stupid–too stupid to realize partisan FLACKS when we see them and too stupid to do our own factchecking. Seniors are especially susceptible to being misled and too demented to understand the truth. In their arrogant opinion.]
Because they can charge more for third-party ads than for those by federal candidates, stations earn a windfall airing them. As CBS President Les Moonves told an entertainment law conference in March, “Super PACs may be bad for America but they’re very good for CBS.” [Moonves also was recently quoted, at a partisan Obama fundraiser, that the media IS now PARTISAN and it seems he sees nothing wrong with that. Yes, he admitted it! “Ultimately journalism has changed…partisanship is very much a part of journalism now, ” says he.]
But by taking seriously their right to insist on the accuracy of third-party ads and regularly debunking deceptive political ad content, stations can translate some of those profits into protection for the public served by their stations. [You see, these elites MUST “protect” us from these “deceptions” and “misleading” claims. This is Obama’s Truth Squad again, in a new form. Allegedly, Holder and Breuer want to shield from federal criminal prosecution the bank, Credit Suisse Group AG, a client of the Washington-based law firm Covington & Burling, as well as key Democratic Party operatives suspected of playing a role in allegedly fraudulent mortgage financing and bank lending practices.
Before joining the Department of Justice in the Obama administration, Holder and Breuer were partners at Covington & Burling.

Holder and Breuer are protecting Credit Suisse, he charged.

“The senior Justice Department official who sent a letter to a Republican senator falsely claiming that the department did not allow guns to be “walked” to drug smugglers in Mexico during the Fast and Furious investigation left the department Wednesday to become dean of the Baltimore School of Law.
Assistant Attorney General Ronald Weich told Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa — who had initiated Congress’s Fast and Furious probe — that accusations that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives allowed the sale of assault weapons to a straw purchaser who then transported them to Mexico were “false.”
“ATF makes every effort to interdict weapons that have been purchased illegally and prevent their transportation into Mexico,” Mr. Weich wrote in the Feb. 4, 2011, letter.
The Justice Department retracted that letter in December, with Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. vigorously defending Mr. Weich and the department against charges of lying to Congress. “Nobody at the Justice Department has lied,” Mr. Holder said, adding that Mr. Weich did not know the information he had provided was inaccurate.
Mr. Weich is leaving just as a House committee gets ready to hold a hearing to decide whether to hold Mr. Holder in contempt of Congress for his refusal to turn over Justice Department documents concerning the Fast and Furious operation. That hearing, before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, is scheduled for Wednesday.”

That’s good, Zenway. Self made up man! I like it. Did you notice this critic disses the book “The Amateur” (anti-Barry) by saying it has a “limited but sizable” audience. Iirc, it’s at the top of the bestseller list along with another book that slams Barry. Some limited audience! Unless by limited he means stupid. Limited but sizable seems like an oxymoron, otherwise.
At least he calls Maraniss a “big fan” of Barry’s. Oh, but Maraniss is a better writer, you know, like all progressives are smarter than the average bear. Maraniss’s goal is to please anybody who is curious about Barry’s life. Well, if that’s not limited, I don’t know what is. Who hasn’t heard ad nauseum about this guy? Who wants to read even more bloviating about the wonders of Obama’s FICTIONAL life?
Oh, it’s not fictional. It’s just “self invention.” I see. We all make up our life stories. Used to be that was called being a charlatan or a compulsive LIAR. In fact, if somebody’s unfortunate enough that their lies encompass claiming military honors, they can be in trouble with the law these days, for “stolen valor”. I wonder if there’s such a thing as stolen valor by proxy? Meaning, claiming war hero status for a quasi-grandfather? Look what else he says:

I don’t know. Some of the images look like her. Others seem different. But then again, on most of the photos of SAD, they seem to have messed with her facial features, maybe JUST ENOUGH to make her look different from the girl in these photos. She gained a lot of weight, but in the few photos of her from around the early ’60s, she is slimmer. This slim? I can’t say. Seems like someone would have to be pretty sure of the identification to make this allegation, though. btw, in the photo I put above, does she look pregnant? That still doesn’t look to me like the kid they claim is Barry.
This is the first picture where the kid looks like he could actually be the son of a white woman and Obama Sr. That is not the same kid as the other pics being presented as Child Barry. No way.
Who is Daphne Barak? Copywritten by her or photo shopped by her? And the fat kid with bucky beaver teeth is? Check out the weird legs on who is supposed to be BHO Sr. What happened to the middle of his body? and the long legs belong to whom? My what big feet the woman has too! and Jr’s claw paw is pretty funny also as is the different coloring of that arm that belongs to someone else. Stanley’s left hand is a bit peculiar.
Oh, I forgot. I think she’s one of the usual obot “fabulists” that helped promote Barry’s fake biography. I think I checked into her once, but I forgot what I found! 🙂

This gets crazier all the time. Didn’t they say that BHO Sr. NEVER graduated from Harvard? Well, there’s a “graduation certificate” there. Would that be something less than his PhD that he never got? Who dat? This is supposed to be 1987, in Kenya. But wait! Didn’t today’s Jack Cashill story say Barry went to Kenya in 1988? Can’t they PLEASE make up their minds? But Jack pointed out, as WE DID long ago, that Simeon was bouncing little Joey on his lap but Joey was at least 8 years old in 1988. And also Barry only a few years ago said he’d just met Mark “a few years ago”. Twenty years is not a “few”, as we also pointed out long ago! He said Joey was born “at least by 1980”. So count the years. Ruth was 42 or 43 when Joey was born? Pshaw! Who believes that? Not I. And we noted THAT discrepancy long ago, too. Let’s hope more people pay attention to Jack Cashill. I do believe they ARE noticing because now we see all these people coming out acting as if it’s okay, just “poetic license”, to make up your entire life history.

I don’t remember seeing a photo of BHO Sr.’s graduation certificate from Harvard. Does it say Harvard somewhere? On photo #6, it says that is BHO Sr.’s law class? Also noted is that Barry is wearing a ring on his right hand and his wristwatch is also on that arm. (Noted for Papoose – who always sees that – for a Lefty – highly unusual!)

About the “graduation certificate”. I think it’s bogus and that he got it made up for himself. Why do I think that? Well, the florid decoration that goes around the top and left side doesn’t look anything like examples of circa-1960s Harvard diplomas that I find on the Web. That gives an example of the type of text that would be on a diploma from Harvard, in the early 1960s. Ted graduated from Harvard in 1962.

So that example shows the equivalent text that they use. Based upon this, I can tell that Obama’s says the equivalent with a few differences that I noted in other Latin-written Harvard degrees on the Web.
BHO Sr’s is purportedly his MASTER’S degree certificate. It’s dated with some very curious Latin numerals, but the last two definitely stand for 4, so I assume that’s 1964. Clearly we can see MDCCCC, which would be 1900. The next two SHOULD BE LX, for 60, but it doesn’t look like LX; yet if that’s what it says, and since that’s followed by IV, it would indicate 1964 (MDCCCCLXIV), which is when he allegedly left Harvard to return to Kenya with new wife Ruth and never finished that PhD that he claimed.
Another curiosity, besides the fancy swirls at the top that are inconsistent with other Harvard certificates, is the format of the date for when he completed his degree. It looks to me like it was March 8 (Martii VIII). However, look at the other master’s diploma I found: It and OTHERS on the Web place the day BEFORE the month, in “European” fashion. Ms. Phelps’s diploma reads, “xx Martii”, so March 20. BHO Sr’s differs by placing the day after the month, which is American style but inconsistent with Latin and with the other examples on the Web.
The president’s signature (Nathan Marsh Pusey) looks RELATIVELY similar on both, but I’m no handwriting expert and it could be a forgery on BHO Sr’s because it does have some differences that might be attributed to someone trying to copy his signature. Even if the guy got a Master’s from Harvard, this certificate looks fake.
The thing is, where exactly is BHO Sr. in that class photo? The black guy in the middle looks more like Roman Obama to me than BHO Sr. His head is shaped differently.

Really! How can that upper arm be so looooong? I don’t recognize that woman’s face at all. It truly doesn’t look like Kenya, but might have been. But where? He supposedly FIRST went to Kenya in 1987/8, so would have been AT LEAST 25 years old. Does he look 25 in that photo of him carrying the sack of yams for Granny?

TIME’s Klein calls Krauthammer a ‘smug, reflexive’ hack — Krauthammer: ‘Joe who?’

In a Tuesday post on Time magazine’s Swampland blog, columnist Joe Klein took time away from blogging about his road trip across America to criticize Washington Post columnist and Fox News Channel regular Charles
Krauthammer.
Klein’s main beef with Krauthammer is that he may have celebrated the legacy of former President Ronald Reagan too much by suggesting that former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush was wrong to say that Reagan would have struggled to make inroads with the tea party movement. “A break from the road trip for one small quibble with Charles Krauthammer: he has now completely abandoned any intellectual integrity he may have had and joined the cult of Reagan mythmaking,” Klein wrote.
Klein went on to praise Bush, with a parting shot at Krauthammer. “Krauthammer used to be an independent thinker, too,” said Klein. “Tis a pity he’s a hack, and a smug, reflexive one at that.”
The Daily Caller reached out to Krauthammer for a response to Klein’s “one small quibble.”
“Joe who?” Krauthammer replied in an email.

Over the past few weeks we’ve watched as the Romney Campaign has upstaged President Obama by having a press conference at the shuttered Solyndra manufacturing facility/toxic waste dump, and saw supporters heckle David Axelrod off another podium.
So why is there a picture of Romney’s bus at the top? Well, while President Obama was giving his long-winded speech today in Ohio, Team Romney was circling the block and blowing the horn! Weasel Zippers has more, including tweets from Romney’s traveling press secretary, Rick Gorka, who has been taunting the White House on Twitter!
This sort of taunting has been throwing the Obama regime off for weeks. Obama has never had a competitor who would fight back. It has him rattled.

This WordPress comment box is irritating. It puts my name and email address OVER what I’m typing, so I can’t proofread as I type. At least, unlike our readers, we moderators can edit our comments.)
“Sarah Palin was ready to do battle with Obama, but Schmidt and his cohort Nicole Wallace, worked behind the scenes to undermine her effort to actually win. Had McCain had a competent campaign staff, one that didn’t stop Sarah Palin from going after Obama, he might just be president today.
Some of Romney’s campaign staff have also admitted they have been channeling Andrew Breitbart, and the presser at Solyndra was a fine example.
Say what you will about Mitt Romney, but he’s doing an excellent job of staying on message, while knocking Obama off of his. There’s a number of us who had hoped for a different nominee, but I gotta say, Mitt and his crew are making this election fun to watch!”
So I guess we can take comfort that at least it appears that THIS nominee is going to really fight and not MUZZLE anybody, like McCain muzzled Sarah.

The Doctor Patient Medical Association has released a new survey of about 700 doctors, and the results are bleak. Scary bleak. Among other dismal figures, Doctors’ Attitudes on the Future of Medicine: What’s Wrong, Who’s to Blame, and What Will Fix It found that 83% of respondents are contemplating leaving the industry if Obamacare is fully implemented, owing to its disastrous projected consequences. Indeed, they openly blame the healthcare law for their industry’s woes:

83% say they are thinking about QUITTING
61% say the system challenges their ETHICS
85% say the patient-physician relationship is in a TAILSPIN

49% say they will STOP accepting Medicaid patients
74% say they will STOP ACCEPTING Medicare patients, or leave Medicare completely

If this isn’t an airtight argument for the repeal of Obamacare, nothing is. When the people providing the actual healthcare are thinking of getting out of the game, the system is clearly broken. Here’s hoping the Supreme Court strikes down Obamacare this month.
This is exactly the goal of Obamacare. To drive all the physicians out of medicine so that a new crop of graduates AND foreigners can come in and become UNIONIZED STATE EMPLOYEES. These doctors truly DO have large school loans to pay back, so many of them can ill afford to give up medicine; but they took out the loans on the belief that they would make good salaries so they could pay the loans back. Barry can now blackmail them to stay as STATE-EMPLOYED doctors (in the public employees’ union, of course) by promising to FORCE the universities to waive their loans or by simply extracting the money from our wallets to pay off the loans for them, thus also buying their votes in perpetuity. No longer will medicine be the lucrative career that it once was. Now it will be the equivalent of having a bus driver or a state-educated school teacher “caring” for you. As government employees, likely they’ll be immune from lawsuits for malpractice, too. Wait for it. I bet it’s there. They will import hoards (more) of “medical professionals” from the Middle East and Asia, all happy to become DemoncRAT voters to ensure their socialized position in the union shops across America. THEY will think this is the American dream because even $50,000 a year is WONDERFUL to them, considering their current salaries in the state-run hospitals where they toil today. Older people will be lucky to even SEE a doctor. Already Medicare is allowing nurses to “care” for the elderly. That’s fine if all that’s wrong is a sore throat, but what about a condition that requires complex diagnostic skills? It will take you months or maybe even years to actually see a person trained for years in medical schools to diagnose and by then, for you, it might be too late. But that suits the regime, too, because the old are expendable. They don’t “contribute” and only “parasitize” the communal resources of the STATE.
