Bill Clinton thought so little of President Obama — mocking him as an “amateur” — that he pressed his wife last summer to quit her job as secretary of state and challenge him in the primaries, a new book claims,
“The country needs you!” the former president told Hillary Clinton, urging her to run this year, according to accounts of the conversation included in Edward Klein’s new biography of Obama.
The title of Klein’s explosive, unauthorized bio of Obama, “The Amateur” (Regnery Publishing), was taken directly from Bill Clinton’s bombshell criticism of the president, the author said. “Barack Obama,” Bill Clinton said, according to book excerpts, “is an amateur.”

“Barack Obama,” Bill Clinton said, according to book excerpts, “is an amateur.”
The withering criticism is incredible, given the fact that Bill Clinton is actively campaigning for Obama’s re-election.
But according to the book, Bill Clinton unloaded on Obama and pressed Hillary to run against her boss during a gathering in the ex-president’s home office in Chappaqua last August that included longtime friends, Klein said.
“The economy’s a mess, it’s dead flat. America has lost its Triple-A rating . . . You know better than Obama does,” Bill said.
Bill Clinton insisted he had “no relationship” with Obama and had been consulted more frequently by his presidential successor, George W. Bush.
Obama, Bill Clinton said, “doesn’t know how to be president” and is “incompetent.”
But Hillary resisted the entreaties, according to two of the guests interviewed for the book.
“Why risk everything now?” a skeptical Hillary told her husband, emphasizing that she wanted to leave a legacy as secretary of state.
“Because,” Bill replied, his voice rising, “the country needs you!” “The country needs us!” added Bill.

Who do you want to believe? Truth or fabrication? Let Bill and Hillary say that these are lies rather than their spokesmen. I tend to believe they said it. Let the attacks begin where the left attacks their own.

From above URL: The book’s explosive claims were shot down last night by spokesmen for the White House and the Clintons, who closed ranks last night. Bill Clinton’s spokesman Matt McKenna said the excerpts were “totally and completely false” and called Klein “a known liar.”
Phillipe Reines, a spokesman for the secretary of state, noted that Hillary Clinton challenged the veracity of an earlier book Klein wrote about her, “Truth About Hillary.”
White House spokesman Eric Schultz accused Klein of making up facts to sell books. “Nobody in their right mind would believe the nonsense in this one, especially since both Secretary Clinton and President Clinton have been loyal and supportive of the president at every turn.” [Have they been loyal?]
Klein, a former editor of The New York Times Magazine and Newsweek, defended the book and his earlier one as factually sound.
Count me out of my mind because I believe it. If the Clintons deny it, it’s true.
Well, I DON’T believe that quote that Bill said the country NEEDS her. Or the both of them. Except it’s possible in their inflated egos, they do believe it, but NOT for the SAKE of the country. For the sake of their own egos and drive for power over others. For the record: Been there; done that. We DON’T need the Clintons who are barely LESS corrupt than Obama. We need somebody who’s HONEST. For a change we can believe in.
This could be good cop/bad cop and a trial balloon and softening everybody up for the next run by Hillary. Either this year or in 4 years.

Oh, GOOD ANSWER! He “forgot” because the recession hasn’t affected HIM. In fact, since the recession, he’s been able to live LARGER than ever on our dime. Every Wednesday night soirees in OUR house, eating Wagyu beef, serenaded by the creme de la creme of musical stars in the company of Hollywood glitterati and the weathiest of the wealthy! Michelle and daughters able to take WORLD TOURS on our dime! No wonder he “forgot” about the recession in the REAL WORLD where the REST of America lives. It’s always party time at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. (except when it’s party time in Vegas, Hawaii, Spain, etc.).
This is beyond reprehensible! Look at Time Magazine’s cover! Time is sold at checkout counters where kids go to stores with their parents! Imagine teenagers having to encounter this too. Offensive and unnecessary. May Time go out of business and soon along with Newsweek.

Is it real or is it Mammorex? Sorry, I couldn’t resist. I’m serious, though. Is that really that child’s mother? Is that child really feeding or is it photoshopped? Imho (and who am I to say?), if a child can TALK, he can drink from a cup. Face facts, lady: This is not an underdeveloped nation where it’s NECESSARY to breast feed for years and where it acts as birth control. And your child is not a prop for your ideological fantasies. You are making him the butt of ridicule and you’re likely making him too dependent. IMHO. TIME is out for publicity and to sell magazines and it probably worked. Why not use a TYPICAL mother instead of one who looks like a model? (Or is that our answer? Does she breastfeed to keep her slim figure?) If she does this in public, then she’s offending many people. I don’t care what people say. It’s impolite, impolite, to offend others unnecessarily. People go to the restroom to blow their noses, belch, and do other things that are NATURAL but offend others’ sensibilities. To go out of your way TO offend others is RUDE. I don’t want to see or worse, HEAR, breastfeeding in public. It’s natural, but so is passing gas. Do we want everyone to take Ben Franklin’s advice and “fart proudly?” I, for one, do NOT. Please!
If I took a photo like that and posted it online…would it be considered child pornography?
I think so because I remember cases of people taking photos like that and then having themselves turned in to the cops for suspected child porn by the photo developers. Remember? When we had to have photos developed? People commonly took bath shots of the babies and sometimes clerks at the photoshops would call police and report the parents!
boy, I could say alot about this,as I breast fed till my son was two and a half, course not like this; standing or while on the go, like this is really bonding ? I think not here. This was only a shock photo for sales and contoversy.
By the time my son was this age he did not nurse like when he was an infant. It was merely his association with passification when he was tired or wanted in my lap to be close with his mom, as a natural close association /yeah there is a bond. But the nutrient quotient ends much earlier. The kid is eating solid food and has teeth. It’s a whole different thing.And the nursing is more sporadic. I didn’t make a scene about it but I could nurse in public and hardly anyone was even aware of it. With practice one can do it very discreetly.
At two and a half I had to undergo some tests that required radioactive dye and was told I would not be able to nurse at all, so I went home, put two bandades on my breasts and when he saw that I told him I would not be able to nurse as I had boo boos on them. That was all it took. It was over just like that. It was painless for him, however he did talk well and told a few people I had boo boos on my na nas.
This public display, however ruins it for me, it just proves how many imbeciles out there will use this to make sappy fawning stories about nursing and how this shouldn’t be an umcomfortable photo. To use this photo for the issues of nursing is sick and sadly I put it next to the Sandra Fluke pile of crap.
I heard on the radio that the kid is closer to 4 years old than three. She was on talking. Sounds like a real ditz. Seriously. She did. No rocket scientist should worry about competition for his or her job.

Nursed nine babies. The breast is still considered a “private” in our society, as a general rule., Yes, nursing is natural but so is a man taking a leak. I f an adult male takes a leak in public he is cited for indecent exposure; not urinating. A woman nursing, to this extent should be fined with indecent exposure, natural or not, and not for nursing in public, per say. Just saying. Now I am not saying one cannot nurse in public; the public just should not see the breast whipped out and hanging out. I used to nurse while walking around the zoo or mall., No one noticed. Some may be uncomfortable knowing, even though cannot see anything, you are nursing — but that is their problem. If nothing is being exposed, then it is, well, nursing — a normal thing. Whipping the ta tas out for public display to show everyone you can nurse is being an exhibitionist. I feel qualified to talk and advice on this matter for the mere fact that I nursed nine kiddos and because as the mother of a passel of boys I know about the peeing in public cuz a neighbor called the police and reported my little guys for whizzing in our back yard. But that is another story for another day.
Thanks for the insight. You’re right about men taking a leak. Same theory. They get cited for indecent exposure. My mom always did nurse in public, if necessary, like at church! But all the mothers knew how to carry a small blanket to throw over their shoulders. They were modest and considerate of others. That woman IS an exhibitionist. Truly. She and the photographer knew what they were doing. It’s almost like a soft porn shot. Why else dress her in the glamorous dress and heels?
How demeaning to turn women into “soft porn” sex objects. This photo op is a direct war on women, to put it mildly. It is taking something distinctive to womanhood and motherhood and trash-talking it into something sexual; devaluing the purpose and point of the design for women to nurse. This war on women, this war on the gender of female, is devaluing and demeaning to women. It is a deliberate attack on women to be embarrassed out of nursing, thus breaking a unique seal/bond between her and child. In this manner, the woman is prepared or heart-hardened to hand the child over to the collective society. Sick.

(RASMUSSEN REPORTS) The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows Mitt Romney earning 50% of the vote and President Obama attracting 43% support. Four percent (4%) would vote for a third party candidate, while another three percent (3%) are undecided.
This is the first time Romney has reached the 50% level of support and is his largest lead ever over the president. It comes a week after a disappointing jobs report that raised new questions about the state of the economy.
Currently, 23% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-two percent (42%) Strongly Disapprove, giving him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -19.

Anderson Cooper – your reputation is in the dumpster! Anderson needs to Cover his a@@ since he gave the earlier bogus reports. He tried talking over the doctor, not listening, and tried to debunk him with the same lies that have been repeated over and over by the Left. Anderson brought up President Bush which has no bearing on the subject. Is it only Obama that should prove his eligibility..YES! Good for the doctor in bringing up Sheriff Arpaio. Yet Anderson tried to dismiss the Posse investigation as just “volunteers” so they would have no knowledge of the subject they were investigating. They didn’t get to the point of the whole controversy which is that Obama needs to prove he is a natural born citizen. Good for the doctor not to get caught up in Anderson’s attempts to make him look like a fool. The only one who is the fool, is Anderson Cooper. Another water carrier for Obama on the network whose reputation and ratings are now below MSNBC. Disgusting.
Anderson accused him of using the birth certificate controversy to get a few votes. I hope that doctor wins the congressional seat he is running for by a landslide. Wouldn’t that put egg on lying Anderson’s face.
Apropos of little except the subject of Anderson Cooper–he and a BUNCH of other progressives are going to be on Jeopardy this week. Chris Tingle, too. How much you wanna bet they have trivia about Barry in several categories? Why not Newt Gingrich and Ann Coulter? I’d love to see them wipe up the floor with these so-called intellectual democRATS. Oh, wouldn’t you love to see Barry on Jeopardy, sans TOTUS?
Of course Anderson wanted to harass the doctor. A DOCTOR isn’t dumb, by definition. It takes brains and years of hard study to become a doctor.
ARGHH! Just as Anderson LIES and says it’s been debunked, is it necessary for us to AGAIN point out every lie, point by point? I think so:
1. He LIES when he says the “birther” claims were debunked. They WERE NOT. They cannot BE debunked UNTIL OBAMA PRESENTS A 3-D BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND NOT AN IMAGE ON THE INTERNET.
2. He LIES when he says the “birth certificate” released in 2011 was certified by the HDOH. It was NOT because NOTHING that’s BEEN RELEASED has been proved certified. In fact, the stamp supposedly certifying the “document” has a misspelling in the so-called certification! The state registrar has NEVER said or “affirmed” that what was released in 2011 “is the actual birth certificate.”
3. He LIES when he says “non-partisan organizations” (plural) have seen, examined, and “ran their fingers” along the seal on the 2008 certificate of live birth. FactCheck is NOT non-partisan and FactCheck is ONE organization. NO OTHER ORGANIZATIONS saw, felt, or examined the supposed 2008 “document”.
4. He LIES when he says the former head of the HDOH gave an AFFIDAVIT saying that she examined Barry’s records and they’re legitimate and that the governor said so, too. She NEVER said anything under oath, nor did she ever say what Barry has presented to the public is WHAT’S ON FILE IN HAWAII.
5. He LIES when he says “there’s no evidence this is a fake document.” First of all, it’s NOT A DOCUMENT. It’s a digital image on the INTERNET. Second, there’s a vast amount of evidence to suggest it’s forged. PROBABLE CAUSE determined by VETERAN LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS WHO HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR 20 TO 50 YEARS! Law enforcement officers in a better position than an in-the-tank, biased journalist.
What a hypocrite Anderson Cooper is. He debunks the doctor’s opinion that his employee’s birth certificate is legitimate by saying that the doctor’s not a document expert and that all he’s done is run his fingers across the raised seal.
First of all, Anderson BELIEVES and states that Obama’s is real when he’s NEVER seen it and he’s NEVER even got to hold it to try to run his fingers across the seal, if one exists. Anderson BELIEVES Savannah Guthrie, who’s put forth as the person who proves Barry’s is real because SHE says she ran her fingers across a raised seal. She “felt” it. What kind of standards does Cooper have? Obviously, a DOUBLE standard.
I’d give more credence to a doctor, than to a journalist, to say whether a birth certificate is real. Doctors SIGN and initiate birth certificates. Journalists do not.
Cooper asks the doctor if he’s made an effort to contact the WH and ask to see the birth certificate so he can examine it. The doctor should call Cooper’s bluff and do just that. And he ought to have been quick enough to ask Cooper why hasn’t HE asked the WH to show him the BC? He should challenge Cooper to go with him to the WH to look at it.
