Andrew Breitbart Died Today

Andrew Breitbart (1969-2012)

We may not have known him personally, but we know of his work.  He was a fellow patriot, fighting to save our country from the onslaught of the  leftist Ismistas.  We are shocked at this  news.  Ripples of his passing are quickly entering the blogasphere where he was best known for his sites such as Breitbart’s  Big Government, Breitbart TV, Big Hollywood, Big Journalism, Big Peace, and Breitbart.

His sudden, unexplained death occurred last evening as he was walking near his home.  He leaves a wife and four children to mourn his death.

His fearlessness in standing up against the radical left  is noteworthy.  His knowledge and insight will be missed in the days ahead.

May he rest in peace knowing that what he started will by continued by many.

Our hearts and prayers go out to his family, friends and coworkers.  Our tears flow with yours.

  1. This news is stunning. He was a young guy!

    March 1, 2012 at 6:06 am –

With a terrible feeling of pain and loss we announce the passing of Andrew Breitbart.

Andrew passed away unexpectedly from natural causes shortly after midnight this morning in Los Angeles.

We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior.

Andrew lived boldly, so that we more timid souls would dare to live freely and fully, and fight for the fragile liberty he showed us how to love.

Andrew recently wrote a new conclusion to his book, Righteous Indignation:

I love my job. I love fighting for what I believe in. I love having fun while doing it. I love reporting stories that the Complex refuses to report. I love fighting back, I love finding allies, and—famously—I enjoy making enemies.

Three years ago, I was mostly a behind-the-scenes guy who linked to stuff on a very popular website. I always wondered what it would be like to enter the public realm to fight for what I believe in. I’ve lost friends, perhaps dozens. But I’ve gained hundreds, thousands—who knows?—of allies. At the end of the day, I can look at myself in the mirror, and I sleep very well at night.

Andrew is at rest, yet the happy warrior lives on, in each of us.

    • I’m listening to Rush and he said Breitbart had health problems but nothing that presaged anything like this. He was walking outside his house, alone, after midnight? Who saw him fall? I’m just sayin’. It’s sad and scary, all these “coincidences” TODAY of all days.

just saw it , dies at age 43. How do you know natural causes?

    tdr | March 1, 2012 at 8:53 am

Right now that is what is reported….

    Miri | March 1, 2012 at 8:54 am

That’s what they quote his websites as saying.

    SueK | March 1, 2012 at 8:57 am

Breitbart’s passing, as with other deaths of those who oppose this ‘administration’ are suspect.

    tdr | March 1, 2012 at 9:04 am

Hannity is reporting that he had heart issues which were diagnosed last year. Let’s see what happens.

    Miri | March 1, 2012 at 9:09 am

He may have had, but that would give a plausible explanation. Without an autopsy, how will they know for sure? And even then … A tremendous loss for his family, of course, but for our entire country, too. I hope his work goes on. I hope the others on his team pick up the slack and keep fighting. Andrew as able to fight them at their own game–using social media and guerrilla tactics, just like the “progressives” do. Actually, they’re regressives when you consider the first half of the 20th century–communism, fascism, tyranny.

    “Andrew Breitbart’s Death Reported
By Adam Martin | The Atlantic Wire – 20 mins ago….

Andrew Breitbart’s news sites Big Journalism and Big Government, are reporting the death of their founder shortly after midnight in Los Angeles. “Andrew passed away unexpectedly from natural causes shortly after midnight this morning in Los Angeles,” his sites report. Breitbart would be 43 this year. Asked to confirm the news, Joel Pollak, editor-in-chief of, told The Atlantic Wire by email, “I can’t tell you more than I have already, unfortunately. We’ll know more later.” Ben Howe, a Breitbart colleague, tweets that he has “personal confirmation” the news is legitimate and not a hoax as some on Twitter had initially suspected. “”

Let’s see what his people say.

    Kathy | March 1, 2012 at 10:08 am

Here is another report. There has got to be more to this.

In a brief post, the site said he died at age 43 of natural causes.

His death was confirmed to by the Los Angeles Coroner’s Office.

According to the Associated Press, Breitbart was walking near his house in the Brentwood neighborhood shortly after midnight Thursday when he collapsed, his father-in-law Orson Bean said.
Someone saw him fall and called paramedics, who tried to revive him. They rushed him to the emergency room at UCLA Medical Center, Bean said.
Breitbart had suffered heart problems a year earlier, but Bean said he could not pinpoint what happened.
“I don’t know what to say. It’s devastating,” Bean told The Associated Press. He is survived by his wife Susannah Bean Breitbart, 41, and four children.

This sounds eerly similar to what happened to Tim Russert. Natural?????

I heard Pollak (sp?) a guy from his company on the radio. The host initially said something decrying “conspiracy theories.” After Andrew’s friend spoke, saying just what they already said, basically, the host said he didn’t even know why Pollak was on the show. Why he came on so quickly to speak. This sounds very strange to me.

    Renee | March 1, 2012 at 9:25 am

Andrew said he had vid of O college years……

    Miri | March 1, 2012 at 9:30 am

OH! TY. I totally forgot about that. What happens now with that video? OMG. Frightening.

    Renee | March 1, 2012 at 9:34 am

Hoping they ALL are..praying actually Miri.

    Miri | March 1, 2012 at 9:41 am

Me, too. I do hope he’s living. If not, may he RIP and may his legacy live on. The TRUTH must come out. I hope that video is in a safe place. But where’s safe these days? In the Obamanation, where tentacles reach EVERYWHERE?

    Renee | March 1, 2012 at 9:40 am

Andrew Breitbart took the podium at CPAC Friday afternoon, introduced to the stage with Rage Against The Machine’s Guerrilla Radio, and revealed to the audience he had “videos” of Barack Obama from his college days. “I have videos, this election we’re going to vet him,” Breitbart disclosed to raucous applause. “We are going to vet him from his college days to show you why racial division and class warfare are central to what hope and change was sold in 2008.”

    GORDO | March 1, 2012 at 10:40 am

    From February 21, 2012
    John Drew:

“I just got some amazing news this evening. Apparently, Andrew Breitbart has video of young Obama in action which will document Obama’s commitment to class conflict and racial division. I’m expecting that these videos will provide further confirmation of what I’ve been saying since 2008 – that young Obama was a committed Marxist socialist looking forward to a socialist future.”

    Hayden | March 1, 2012 at 10:50 am

This is so unbelievably sad. We lost a giant today. I have no words . . . It’s devastating. . . a happy warrior. We should all strive to emulate him.

The first thing I thought was he staged it, then I thought no it’s real and has something to do with those videos that he has of Obama which he hasn’t released. But, I’m sure he wasn’t the only one who knows where they are. It’s not like they disappear with him, but maybe they hope it might scare whoever else has access into not releasing them . . . or maybe God just called him home at the appointed time. It’s just such a loss.

I pray for his family and for his cause, which is ours also, and that all are inspired to pick up the torch of this fallen light.

administrators: please put up an in memorium thread for him. He deserves it

Stunned. Saddened. This hits far closer to home than I would care to share at this time. “We got work to do.” God Speed Andrew. -UM

    Renee | March 1, 2012 at 11:27 am

Recently he bought a dinner at a charity function at the home of Bill Ayers… He gave an account of it on radio on how all these leftist professors were there intentionally.

    • An interesting question is: Will Andrew get the Whitney treatment? Somehow, I think not; and he’s far more of a hero in this country.

  3. Thank you, Andrew, for everything you did.

    You made a real difference.

  4. Conversations moved from another thread.

    Valley Girl | March 1, 2012 at 9:26 am

He was either a hit, or faking it for safety…….sure, he could have had a heart issue but to me that seems even less likely……

Do you think, that with his cpac speech, of what goods he had, and his movie that would expose it all,… that he would take a walk by himself late at night?….alone? without any security?

Didnt the medical experts just change some ruling on “natural causes” or was it only with the elderly, that “natural causes” was good enough on a death certificate?.. I remember hearing something during obamacare discussions, and thinking “oh great”… they can end grandma’s life and call it natural causes without any other further investigation…..

And most importantly, wasnt it one of the comm unist parties objectives was to create a way of inducing a heart attack?…. its in the goals of the party that was brought up to congress in the 70s.

Personally, Im hoping he’s hanging out in a bunker somewhere, waiting for all of it to go down, and the dust clears, and then, he comes out to become one of our new founding fathers…

    RIP… we NEED YOU!

    Renee | March 1, 2012 at 9:32 am

VG, I am thinking EXACTLY like you…

    alfy | March 1, 2012 at 11:44 am

who else knew he had a heart problem? His wife will probably even assume it to be his heart . If so, we’ll get no autopsy.

One of the seals that recently passed, a week or so ago, in africa, was a Whitney also. Then, there was the movie maker guy, named Rice who just passed in africa…… then, a month or so ago, two other movie makers died in a helicopter around africa.

I understand that there are some batches of bad stuff in the country, and that could possibly be a reason if there is substance abuse involved, but like you said… suspicious.

    SueK | March 1, 2012 at 11:15 am

Sheriff Joe is due to deliver his findings this afternoon; may be profound, may not be.

    Breitbart is dead.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but is this a coincidence??? A warning?

    alfy | March 1, 2012 at 11:47 am

Remember the day the Tea Party descended on the white house? The whole afternoon on every channel there was that silver helium balloon thing they claimed some kid was in. All afternoon no mention of anything hardly but that. I always thought that was an outlandish ploy. Well, Breitbart will be the topic today…all day.

    Valley Girl | March 1, 2012 at 11:26 am|

on his twitter, there is what sounds like a warning from an occuby person… and i followed a few links from those that twitted on the site, and one mentioned that the same day goooogle changes its policy (today) is the same day the NDAA kicks in.. (today)… which, i think but not sure, is the extention of the partiot act that gives the pres authority to kill, detain, etc,. without trial, etc?….

and Breitbart passed away after midnight……. suspicious?… you betcha!!!!!.

  5. Andrew Breitbart dies suddenly at 43 …
Conservative warrior Andrew Breitbart, journalist and founder of and other websites, passed away this morning at the age of 43.

    March 1, 2012

Reaction from those stunned by his sudden death is now pouring in.

Conservative media powerhouse Andrew Breitbart, founder of among other websites, died unexpectedly this morning in Los Angeles at the age of 43, according to his websites.

His websites announced he died shortly after midnight of natural causes.

In a column today, Farah recalls meeting Breitbart years ago when he worked as a backup editor for the Drudge Report.

Matt Drudge paid tribute to his colleague and friend with a posting on the Drudge Report: “In the first decade of the DRUDGEREPORT Andrew Breitbart was a constant source of energy, passion and commitment. We shared a love of headlines, a love of the news, an excitement about what’s happening. I don’t think there was a single day during that time when we did not flash each other or laugh with each other, or challenge each other. I still see him in my mind’s eye in Venice Beach, the sunny day I met him. He was in his mid 20′s. It was all there. He had a wonderful, loving family and we all feel great sadness for them today.”

Sean Hannity told WND: “Andrew was a warrior, though a happy warrior, who relished political combat. He cared deeply for his friends, his family and his country. The movement has lost a passionate advocate. And I have lost a good friend. Andrew and his family are in our prayers.”

“I’m stunned,” wrote Michelle Malkin. “He was kinetic, brash, relentless, full of fight, the bane of the left, and a mentor to the next generation of right-wing activists and citizen journalists. Please keep his family in your prayers.”

The tweets started immediately on word that Breitbart was gone at age 43.

Ed Morrissey: “Incredibly sad to say farewell to Andrew Breitbart.”

Monica Crowley: “I can’t believe this: conservative activist & friend Andrew Breitbart has died. this is a huge loss. Prayers to his family”

In a tasteless Twitter post, the Anonymous hack group announced Andrew Breitbart’s death by calling him a “conservative loudmouth” and reminding followers that Breitbart recently confronted Occupy protesters. “Conservative loudmouth Andrew Breitbart dies at 43 from natural causes,” read a post in Anonymous’ main Twitter feed.

A second Anonymous post read, “Andrew Breitbart dead at 43 – Hey, remember this?” linking to an article about how Breitbart confronted an Occupy crowd at this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference.

The embattled Media Matters for America posted a more tasteful message, telling followers: “Media Matters has a long history with Andrew Breitbart. We’ve disagreed more than we’ve found common ground, but there was never any question of Andrew’s passion for and commitment to what he believed.”

“Andrew was a workaholic. He was online nearly 24/7. He lived and breathed the news cycle. In fact, this morning, 10 hours after his untimely death, he is still on Instant Messenger – with an ‘away’ message,” said Farah.

Learning the news, Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum called it “shocking.”

“What a powerful force,” he said of Breitbart. “It’s almost – you think of anybody out there who’s just got more energy, and just, out there constantly, driving and pushing. What a huge loss, in my opinion, for our country, and certainly for the conservative movement.”

Mitt Romney via Twitter: “Ann and I are deeply saddened by the passing of @AndrewBreitbart: brilliant entrepreneur, fearless conservative, loving husband and father.”

Newt Gingrich via Twitter: “Andrew Breitbart’s sudden death is a tragedy for his family and for conservatism. Callista and I send our prayers and our condolences. / Andrew Breitbart was the most innovative pioneer in conservative activist social media in America. He had great courage and creativity.”

Talk-radio host Mark Levin posted on his Facebook page: “Like most, I am totally stunned and deeply saddened by Andrew’s passing. He was a wonderful person and patriot. He loved his family and country. I will miss him. Many of us will. Andrew had enormous energy and courage. He was a pioneer. He was only 43 years old. I wish I had known him longer. The last time I was with Andrew was in November, when we both spoke in Washington at an Americans for Prosperity event, where Occupy DC was outside the convention center making all kinds of accusations and bullying people. Andrew loved the battle and he knew the stakes. May he rest in peace. May his family find peace. May God bless him.”

Breitbart, in addition to publishing websites devoted to repudiating what he saw as the liberal-dominated coverage of politics and culture, once served as an editor for the Drudge Report and helped Arianna Huffington launch the Huffington Post website.

Breitbart also founded his own news network, acting as the publisher of several news websites including,, Big Hollywood, Big Government, Big Journalism and Big Peace.

Big Government broke the ACORN child-sex trafficking scandal by posting a series of undercover videos taken by filmmaker James O’Keefe. The videos showed ACORN employees giving advice on how to avoid taxes and get away with child prostitution. In response to the videos, Congress voted to defund ACORN, essentially putting the community organizing nonprofit out of business.

In 2011, Breitbart was the genesis of the “Weinergate” photo scandal that led to the resignation of New York Rep. Anthony Weiner. Partially nude photos Weiner tweeted of himself were plastered across Breitbart’s websites.

Breitbart was an outspoken opponent to the Occupy Wall Street movement. At the Conservative Political Action Conference earlier this month, he blasted the protesters as “filthy, filthy, filthy, horrible freaks.”

Breitbert was known for publishing controversial exposes and wrote a best-selling critique of celebrity culture, “Hollywood, Interrupted.” His newest book “Righteous Indignation: Excuse Me While I Save the World!” was on the New York Times best-seller list.

    • The noon news on my local NBC affiliate referred to Andrew as a “blogger”. A blogger. Not a journalist. Not even an activist. It’s disgusting.

      • Only the Left has “journOlists”. They like to consider themselves that when they really are just patsies or stooges for the regime. They lost their integrity and principles, if they ever had any.

  6. Did anyone else watch Andrew on CPAC – his speech. I had the feeling that he was on drugs or something was terribly wrong. I had seen him speak before mostly in interviews, but he was different that day. I remember looking around to see if anyone else noticed and said anything.

I thought Andrew had body guards, yet I don’t know why I know that. He got threats all the time, just like Glenn Beck did.

  7. WHEN did he go to that dinner again ?

  8. I looked at the Table of Contents from his latest book at Amazon.

Chapter 8 The Abu Ghraib of the Great Society
    Chapter 9 Tea Party Protector
Chapter 10: The Big Plan: Join Us
    Epilogue Looking Ahead

Known for his network of conservative websites that draws millions of readers everyday, Andrew Breitbart has one main goal: to make sure the “liberally biased” major news outlets in this country cover all aspects of a story fairly. Breitbart is convinced that too many national stories are slanted by the news media in an unfair way.

In Righteous Indignation, Breitbart talks about the key issues that Americans face, how he has aligned himself with the Tea Party, and how one needs to deal with the liberal news world head on. Along the way, he details his early years, working with Matt Drudge, The Huffington Post, and so on, and how Breitbart developed his unique style of launching key websites to help get the word out to conservatives all over.

  10. Andrew Breitbart Died Today, WHAT?? no way. He was ONLY 43! he was taken to the leftest UCLA medical center?

Omg….I actually got dizzy reading Andrew Breitbart died today. WTF? a heart attack at 43, no way, just no way, just like Lia?

    • Just like Lia. Maybe we will learn more since there will be an autopsy instead of a quickie Indonesian Muslim burial.

Lia supposedly met with some journalists and had lunch and died a few hours later. She was being interviewed about the upcoming visit of her adopted brother, Barry, aka BHO. High blood pressure and cholesterol were blamed. Silence was the reason.

  11. “The Los Angeles County coroner’s office will review the death of conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart, who collapsed and died Thursday while taking a nighttime walk near his Westwood home.

Given his young age — he was 43 — and the unexpected manner in which he died, authorities will conduct an autopsy to help determine a specific cause of death.”

  12. but his death was in CA, under the jurisdiction of the DOJ mentioned in the Ultersman report as not exactly helpful, wasnt it?. Doesnt that mean that we the people will not be able to trust an outcome of an investigation of his death if there is one?

  13. Diana, Gabrielle, Andrew,

    • I find this part interesting here…

Savage noted that Breitbart had dinner with Ayers and Dorhn three weeks ago at the couple’s Hyde Park residence on Chicago’s South Side, which is near Obama’s home. Breitbart was invited by Daily Caller Editor-in-Chief Tucker Carlson, who won an Internet auction for a dinner party with the couple.

Arthur Sando is LYING. He got his job at MonaVie AFTER the 2010 death of disgraced CBS executive turned CNN associate to Ted Turner ….Rober J Wussler, a DEATH that Arthur Sando announced to the media…>

In his account of Brietbart’s final hour, Sando makes it sound like it was a chance encounter…..He is LYING. When Andrew is about to release embarassing tapes of Obama, and suddenly DIE….the last person who should be known to see Andrew alive is a high rank operative of US TASS media whose boss arranged sporting events with the Soviets in the 1980s and now works for a shady health suppliment company.

Sando should be investigated for murder. Don’t let the media kill somebody and then use its news power to dictate the coverage towards self fulfilling conclusions.

    • Good news. I heard Dana Loesch on radio this afternoon, too. She was telling inside stories about the Weiner affair. I’m glad those tapes will be exposed. They’re HARVARD tapes. That’s new, isn’t it? I thought maybe they were from Occidental.

    • Hi GORDO,

      Good to read you :).

I was just about to post Bannon’s video.

I would load up with bodyguards if I were him in fact, I wouldn’t advertise it; I’d just release the tapes. Much can happen in a week to 10 days and none of it good.

    • Dana Loesch was on with Piers Morgan tonight on CNN to talk about her friend Andrew Breitbart. Dana was handpicked by Andrew Breitbart to be editor of Big Journalism last year. Dana told Piers that she had just seen Andrew on Monday in Los Angeles where the Breitbart editors were holding meetings.

@ 3:20 Something is coming this Monday. The “Bigs” are Rolling out something fantastical. Andrew called it, “Drudge 2.0.”

This is welcome news. I tried to get out the word that young Obama was a Marxist socialist when I met him while he was a sophomore at Occidental College in L.A.

I expect these new tapes from his Harvard years will demonstrate more of the same – a terrible consistency between Obama’s ties to Frank Marshall Davis and his later ties to Rev. Wright, State Sen. Alice Palmer and Bill Ayers.

  18. Rosemary Woodhouse

And just who “sponsored” him at Harvard? GRATEFUL that the videos are safe and sound. May he rest in peace. He was a true warrior. I don;t believe one dies at 43 of “natural causes”. Normally, in the Jewish religion, autopsies aren’t done. I hope his family has one done, regardless.

  19. TASER~TASER??????

  20. Last night one of Breitbart’s coworkers said he would give the tapes to Hannity with in the next week for him to broadcast on his show.

  21. Michael Savage on Breitbart:

    • Michael Savage: Was Breitbart assassinated?
      March 1, 2012 Snip

Noting that the cause of Andrew Breitbart’s unexpected death yesterday was being examined by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office, talk-radio host Michael Savage raised the question of whether the conservative media powerhouse – who recently announced he had videos that could politically damage President Obama – was murdered.

“I’m asking a crazy question,” Savage said, “but so what? We the people want an answer. This was not an ordinary man. If I don’t ask this question, I would be remiss.”
“I told him two years ago to get a body guard. Never be alone in the street,” Savage said.

Savage, the author of the bestselling novel “Abuse of Power,” put on his novelist hat and speculated about ways a murderer could remain undetected by inducing a heart attack that didn’t leave any traces.

A caller from Savage’s native New York City said there’s a simple way to find out what happened.

“If the tapes come out, he died of a heart attack,” the caller said. “If the tapes don’t come out, they whacked him.”

  22. Drudge linked to this. That is interesting by itself. But what I see is Larry Sinclair, Obama’s Limo sweetie, talking to Breitbart. Was Andrew also going to vet Obama and the information about Larry? Didn’t know he has a site called Sinclair News. It was a “Blog Bash” so I guess Larry would be there. (I clicked on the link but it didn’t open.). Excusssse me, but did anybody here get an invite? Wonder what the requirements are or who does the inviting?

Breitbart: “Wait ‘Til They See What Happens March 1st”

    Friday, March 2, 2012 Snips

Around three weeks ago on February 9 during the ‘Blog Bash’ event in Washington DC, Breitbart made a prophetic comment that takes on a somewhat chilling nature given the fact that he died in the early hours of March 1st.

Speaking to Lawrence Sinclair of Sinclair News, Breitbart stated, “Wait til they see what happens March 1st.”

It’s almost certain that Breitbart was referring to his plan to release damning footage of President Obama that he had been promising to reveal throughout the month of February. [Our speculation can be just as good as Infowars!]

    • The footage shows Obama in his college days appearing alongside former Weather Underground terrorists Bill and Bernardine Dohrn. Observers had speculated that the footage could have derailed Obama’s hopes for a second term.” !!!!!

It does? I never heard that before. What the contents of the video is. I linked that Sinclair story yesterday, where they claim the hospital first said they had nobody by that name and later on reverted to the privacy rules.

      • Oh glad you caught that about derailing him. I think I accidentally erased two paragraphs when I put in my comment or else they didn’t paste. I like the idea of derailing him.

  23. A good tribute to Andrew:

“The question naturally occurs: what are you going to do, now that Andrew’s incandescence has burned out prematurely?

I can’t answer for the others, but I do know that one of Andrew’s legacies for me is an injection of fortitude.

The biggest issue in the coming election is Barack Obama, himself. In his last major speech at CPAC, Andrew promised a full vetting of Obama this time. His colleagues, who include many smart and very capable people, promise that we will not be denied the Obama college tapes of which Andrew spoke, and that they will carry his legacy forward. I wish them every success.

It just so happened that yesterday saw Sheriff Joe Arpaio release the results of his Cold Case Posse’s investigation of Obama documents and his opinion that the law has been broken. The media cofferdam around Obama’s biography has been breached again.”

We’re gonna keep on keeping on.

“Unconventional. Bold. Brave. Courageous. Strong. Happy. Genius.

“Don’t go on Current TV looking like a conservative. Wear a Rolling Stones t-shirt or something,” Andrew told me recently. “You’ve got to be a fighter. Don’t hold back. You’ve got to go for the throat with these guys. Don’t back down, don’t let them control the narrative.”

To keep it simple: Andrew changed media and he did it by fighting, hard. Whether it was busting open the ACORN story by believing in two young, brave journalists, uncovering corruption with Pigford, taking down a sitting Congressman for showing his Weiner, commandeering a press conference for the guy he just exposed, defending women and children from occupy rapists or simply being unafraid of taking on any challenge, Andrew’s unconventional style has carried journalism into a new, positive, factual, influential and proactive direction.

Andrew dedicated his life to attacking the institutional left, but the foundation of his work and the drive for his unwavering dedication was centered around his simple demand for, and loyalty to, the truth.

His work will continue. Looking at Andrew’s twitter feed after his death, I am not surprised. The far left has taken it upon themselves once again to show who they really are, which is exactly what Andrew would have wanted and why his style was so genius. They laughed and snickered about us losing one of our greatest warriors and many of them even cheered. Somewhere in the world, George Soros smiled.

Unfortunately for them, Andrew is not gone and is still very much with us. He built an army that will carry on the work he started. He laid a solid foundation rooted in principle for the right to battle on moving forward. The disgusting, predictable, vile and pure evil behavior and reaction to Andrew’s death from the leftists he fought every day, have only further awakened a movement.

The torches of truth, accountability and freedom will be carried forward by thousands of bloggers and activists he trained and inspired. His tragic death is a battle cry. We are inspired, we are encouraged and we will not be defeated.

In the word of Andrew: “War.”

Breitbart Autopsy Completed: Medical Examiner “Final Cause of Death Deferred”
    March 2, 2012

Medical Examiner “Final Cause of Death Deferred”

At 7:11 PM Eastern Time Craig Harvey from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiners office returned our call seeking information on the Autopsy of Andrew Breitbart. According to Harvey:

“We have completed the autopsy examination, the final cause of death has been deferred. We have ordered additional toxicology and Microscopic test and we expect to have those completed and the cause of death determined in four to six weeks.”

According to sources who wish to remain anonymous who are in the Los Angeles area say preliminary results from the LA County Coroner indicate “massive heart attack.”

According to sources who wish to remain anonymous who are in the Los Angeles area say preliminary results from the LA County Coroner indicate “massive heart attack.”

It should be noted that many media outlets chose to report Andrew’s death to be from “natural causes,” despite having nothing to base the reports on. We have taken a lot of flack over our report yesterday that Breitbart was NOT treated at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center’s Emergency Room as was reported but was pronounced dead on arrival and the body held for the Los Angeles Coroners office to pick up. While it is true that Paramedics did attempt to revive Breitbart in route to UCLA Medical center the hospital doctors did not. Reports that “Doctors at UCLA Medical Center ER attempted to revive Breitbart but where unsuccessful,” were false and we believed based on Andrew Breitbart’s own determination to report the TRUTH we were correct in reporting it. We are aware of the legal and business matters that Breitbart’s employees, business partners and family must deal with due to Andrews death. We do not believe that Andrew would approve of the very people saying they are going to continue his mission, putting out untrue reports which have only created the very effect they claim they were trying to avoid.

Since our report yesterday Andrew Breitbart “Wait Til They See What Happens March 1st,” we see the comments that people are making wanting to believe that Andrew was the victim of murder or even make such outlandish claims that the Obama people somehow had Andrew killed. These comments are completely lacking in any reality and while we would hope that people would refrain from making these comments, Editor-in-Chief Joel Pollak is partly responsible for publishing statements about the events surrounding Andrews death which we discovered to have been less than truthful. There would be no reason that we could think of for why anyone would claim UCLA ER Doctors attempted to revive Andrew when the Hospital did no such thing according to the Hospital and the Medical Examiners office.

The Los Angeles County Coroners office decision to have toxicology and microscopic test performed before stating a cause of death is the proper thing to do in this case. In the mean time we will continue to follow the case and bring you any information that we obtain which is news worthy.

All of us here at Sinclair-News and LS News Group send the Breitbart family our heart felt sympathy.

  28. This guy that Andrew was talking with at the bar. He’s a big wig at CBS or Turner Broadcasting. Yet, he says that he did not really know who Andrew was, barely recognized him. How could that be?

  29. The Vetting, Part I: Barack’s Love Song To Alinsky

Prior to his passing, Andrew Breitbart said that the mission of the Breitbart empire was to exemplify the free and fearless press that our Constitution protects–but which, increasingly, the mainstream media denies us.

“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?” – “Who guards the guardians?” Andrew saw himself in that role—as a guardian protecting Americans from the left’s “objective” loyal scribes.

Andrew wanted to do what the mainstream media would not. First and foremost: Andrew pledged to vet President Barack H. Obama.

Andrew did not want to re-litigate the 2008 election. Nor did he want to let Republicans off the hook. Instead, he wanted to show that the media had failed in its most basic duty: to uncover the truth, and hold those in power accountable, regardless of party.

From today through Election Day, November 6, 2012, we will vet this president–and his rivals.

We begin with a column Andrew wrote last week in preparation for today’s Big relaunch–a story that should swing the first hammer against the glass wall the mainstream media has built around Barack Obama.
