Bob Hope was one of our greatest American treasures. A delightful comedian and actor, he gave us a lifetime of work to enjoy. Nothing Hope did though was more special than what he did for the United States service men and women.
As a kid I never missed the Bob Hope Christmas Specials. From World War II through the Gulf War, Bob Hope would gather up some of the nation’s best talent, prettiest girls, and head to where the troops were. Often times Hope and company would be right in the thick of things, close to the front lines of battle. This never stopped them.
Hope, and all of those who went with him, understood the brave men and women who serve sacrifice so much for God and country.

Well, I’m just here to say howdy, and hope all are okay. I don’t keep x-mas, and haven’t done it for many, many years. Why??? Because I found out about it from studying the Scriptures, the most sacred book that was given to us by Yahweh himself. Then by studying ancient history, then the NT in knowing when Yahushua (aka Jesus) was really born, then by studying in Acts 15, this means to not take part in pagan festivals, period.
The strangest thing to me is this, people saying that Washington kept it, but then little movies come out to say, oh, heck, Pres. Washington put up a x-mas tree. Not! He didn’t. Congress was held on x-mas day. I don’t think it was even made a national holiday until the very late 1800s. Maybe 1860, 1870 or so.

It appears to me they posted a photo a couple years old. The elder daughter is now a teenager and quite tall. The first tip off was them wearing heavy winter coats in Hawaii where the temperatures are mid to high 70’s. Perhaps they didn’t want to post the photo of MO in short, shorts. TY for that!
A church photo op is a necessity to prove their Christian religion. Is this their 2nd or 3rd time to attend church this year? Obama Approval Surge a sham… statistically they polled 32% Democrats and 25% Republicans to get their higher approval numbers. Whereas in November they polled 29% Democrats and 26% Republicans to get these results showing Disapproval at 53%. The latest scam poll was taken before the payroll tax debate, so that doesn’t skew the numbers, but the number/% of people interviewed within each party does.

As he admits, they’ve always done this. For two reasons, though: To shape public opinion (the pile-on effect, the tendency of people to want to associate with a “winner” that everybody else backs) as well as to set the stage for the PLAUSIBILITY of vote counts that are actually the result of vote FRAUD.
I’ve said it before: Unless the polls are close, then people WILL suspect fraud and call for investigations. IF they can make the poll numbers appear to be close, then it’s more plausible when they tout the “upset” that vote fraud hands to Obama. Especially when everybody knows that his popularity is GONE.
How many people do you know who support him wholeheartedly? How many people do you know who once supported him but now won’t even admit that they ever supported him much less that they plan to support him again? It’s all lies.
They know his ‘pop” popularity is gone. They know the economy sucks and will continue to suck.
People know when they can’t find jobs, can’t afford food, can’t afford gas. People know when they’re far worse off than 4 years ago. We don’t need the media’s lies to tell us that the economy is improving. We KNOW that it’s not.
With luck, whoever is the Republican nominee will tell America WHY the economy sucks and why it will continue to suck so long as Barry is not “changed” out for someone who actually WANTS the economy to improve.
They’re not just planning lies in the form of polls and favorable stories about the economy. They’re planning MASSIVE vote fraud. It’s all they can do. They are desperate to hang onto power.
But to make it appear “plausible” that Barry won, they MUST make it look AS IF his support came back, AS IF his supporters are still there and enthusiastic, and AS IF the economy is better, which is why everybody wanted him back. KABUKI THEATER. That’s all it is. That’s all it’s ever been.

ICE launches hotline for busted immigrants

As states across the nation ramp up their efforts to catch illegal immigrants, the Obama administration on Thursday launched a new free hotline for people busted on violations to get help.
The hotline, run by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, is available 24/7 for detained individuals to phone if they think they “may be U.S. citizens or victims of a crime.”

The new practices are “part of a broader effort to improve our immigration enforcement process and prioritize resources to focus on threats to public safety, repeat immigration law violators, recent border entrants and immigration fugitives while continuing to strengthen oversight of the nation’s immigration detention system and facilitate legal immigration,” ICE wrote in its press release.

Did you read that 59% of “hispanics” polled were against Barry’s strict (what a joke!) deportation regime for illegals? 27% supported it. So I guess the rest were undecided. It’s interesting that so many “hispanics” were NOT against deportation. This proves that they don’t all think in lockstep and that many of them care as much about the law as the rest of us do.
Here’s the thing: How many hispanics, upon being asked, would ADMIT that they support deportation of illegal aliens? A lot of peer pressure there. I can envision many of them saying they oppose deportation when they secretly are for it. How would they vote? Nobody knows unless they’re in the booth with them.
This is spun as bad news for Barry because so many hispanics are against his policy. It’s probably designed to pressure him in an election year, with the hope that he will water down the effort even more. Who even believes they deport people in the first place?

Congress kicked off the year with unprecedented reverence for the Constitution. Congress began the session with a ceremonial reading of the Constitution on the house floor, and then adopted a new rule that requires any proposed bill to cite its constitutional authority. While admirable, these measures have thus far failed to achieve their intended result. The potential solemnity of the reading ceremony was tainted by petty disputes and goofy mistakes (an entire section was skipped) and the citation rule has become little more than an exercise in box checking. Congress still has a long way to go, but its newfound constitutional courage marks a welcome change from Pelosi’s “are you serious?” approach to the Constitution.

Obama Backers Tied to Lobbies Raise Millions

WASHINGTON — Despite a pledge not to take money from lobbyists, President Obama has relied on prominent supporters who are active in the lobbying industry to raise millions of dollars for his re-election bid.
At least 15 of Mr. Obama’s “bundlers” — supporters who contribute their own money to his campaign and solicit it from others — are involved in
lobbying for Washington consulting shops or private companies. They have raised more than $5 million so far for the campaign.
Because the bundlers are not registered as lobbyists with the Senate, the Obama campaign has managed to avoid running afoul of its self-imposed ban on taking money from lobbyists.
But registered or not, the bundlers are in many ways indistinguishable from people who fit the technical definition of a lobbyist. They glide easily through the corridors of power in Washington, with a number of them hosting Mr. Obama at fund-raisers while also visiting the White House on policy matters and official business.
As both a candidate and as president, Mr. Obama has vowed to curb what he calls the corrupting influence of lobbyists, barring them not only from contributing to his campaign but also from holding jobs in his administration. While lobbyists grouse about the rules, ethics watchdogs credit the changes with raising ethical standards in Washington.
But the prevalence of major Obama fund-raisers who also work in the lobbying arena threatens to undercut the president’s ethics push, raising questions about whether the campaign’s policies square with its on-the-ground practices, some of those same watchdogs say.
“It’s a legitimate concern,” said Craig Holman, a registered lobbyist for Public Citizen, a nonpartisan ethics group in Washington. “The campaign has to draw the line somewhere, but the reality is that the president is still relying on wealthy special interests and embracing those people in his campaign.”

Once upon a time, I was invited to the White House for a private dinner with the President. I am a respected businessman, with a factory that produces memory chips for computers and portable electronics. There was some talk that my industry was being scrutinized by the administration, but I paid it no mind. I live in a free country. There’s nothing that the government can do to me if I’ve broken no laws. My wealth was earned honestly, and an invitation to dinner with an American President is an honor. I checked my coat, was greeted by the Chief of Staff, and joined the President in a yellow dining room.
We sat across from each other at a table draped in white linen. The Great Seal was embossed on the china. Uniformed staff served our dinner. The meal was served, and I was startled when my waiter suddenly reached out, plucked a dinner roll off my plate, and began nibbling it as he walked back to the kitchen. “Sorry about that,” said the President. “Andrew is very hungry.” “I don’t appreciate…” I began, but as I looked into the calm brown eyes across from me, I felt immediately guilty and petty. It was just a dinner roll. “Of course,” I concluded, and reached for my glass. Before I could, however, another waiter reached forward, took the glass away and swallowed the wine in a single gulp. “And his brother Eric is very thirsty.” said the President.
The President is testing my compassion, I thought. I will play along. I don’t want to seem unkind. My plate was whisked away before I had tasted a bite. “Eric’s children are also quite hungry.” With a lurch, I crashed to the floor. My chair had been pulled out from under me. I stood, brushing myself off angrily, and watched as it was carried from the room. “And their grandmother can’t stand for long.” I excused myself, smiling outwardly, but inside feeling like a fool. Obviously I had been invited to the White House to be sport for some game.
I reached for my coat, to find that it had been taken. I turned back to the President.”Their grandfather doesn’t like the cold.” I wanted to shout- that was my coat! But again, I looked at the placid smiling face of my host and decided I was being a poor sport. I spread my hands helplessly and chuckled. Then I felt my hip pocket and realized my wallet was gone. I excused myself and walked to a phone on an elegant side table. I learned shortly that my credit cards had been maxed out, my bank accounts emptied, my retirement and equity portfolios had vanished, and my wife had been thrown out of our home. Apparently, the waiters and their families were moving in.
The President hadn’t moved or spoken as I learned all this, but finally I lowered the phone into its cradle and turned to face him. “Andrew’s whole family has made bad financial decisions. They haven’t planned for retirement, and they need a house. They recently defaulted on a subprime mortgage. I told them they could have your home. They need it more than you do.” My hands were shaking. I felt faint. I stumbled back to the table and knelt on the floor.
The President cheerfully cut his meat, ate his steak and drank his wine. I lowered my eyes and stared at the small grey circles on the tablecloth that were water drops.”By the way,” He added, “I have just signed an Executive Order nationalizing your factories. I’m firing you as head of your business. I’ll be operating the firm now for the benefit of all mankind. There’s a whole bunch of Erics and Andrews out there and they can’t come to you for jobs groveling like beggars.” I looked up. The President dropped his spoon into the empty ramekin which had been his creme brulee. He drained the last drops of his wine. As the table was cleared, he lit a cigarette and leaned back in his chair. He stared at me. I clung to the edge of the table as if were a ledge and I were a man hanging over an abyss.
I thought of the years behind me, of the life I had lived. The life I had earned with a lifetime of work, risk and struggle. Why was I punished? How had I allowed it to be taken? What game had I played and lost? I looked across the table and noticed with some surprise that there was no game board between us. What had I done wrong? As if answering the unspoken thought, the President suddenly cocked his head, locked his empty eyes to mine, and bared a million teeth, chuckling wryly as he folded his hands he said: “You should have stopped me at the dinner roll”.

It’s very bizarre. That right eye is half closed. His hair resembles the tonsure of a monk, the way it just does that circle around his head. Looks almost like a receding hairline. He forgot to take his Grecian Formula to Hawaii or else he’s trying the “elder statesman” look again.
