Today we take time to thank our Creator for all of our blessings, chief among them the privilege of being citizens of the greatest country on Earth.  Let us bow our heads in gratitude for our precious Republic.

Thank you, Lord, for the United States of America where freedom reigns, forever, with Your guidance and help.

We here at WTPOTUS are thankful for our readers, commenters, fellow bloggers, and friends.  We are also thankful for the opposition, because they make us think and keep us on our toes.  As Greg Laurie recently wrote:

Sometimes what we think of today as bad may be ultimately good, because it changes who we are – for the better. And sometimes what we think of as good can be bad because it causes us to forget God and instead trust in ourselves. … [To] give thanks regardless of your circumstances requires the realization that God is wiser than you are. He is always dealing with you for your best eternal good. He will sort everything out. It is not for us to fret over.

It is, however, for us to persevere. And so we shall.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Keep the faith.  Endure.

Open thread.  If you like, in keeping with the spirit of the Day, please share with us your favorite recipe, or the typical Thanksgiving menu at your home, or your favorite Thanksgiving tradition.   God bless all of you, and God bless the United States of America.

  1. I don’t know which thread it was that you had Eric Holders stuff on, so you can move this if you like.

WHITE HOUSE INSIDER: There Is A Very Uneasy Peace Between President Obama And The American Military.

Eric Holder will no longer be Attorney General of the United States. That-that is – you’ll see that happen soon now. Very soon.

It’s out and it’s a problem that isn’t going away for this White House. And the cover-up…that’s there. It’s known. It’s been known. The rope was let out, over and over and they just kept taking it up. How did I put it to you months ago? “We got them.” Right? Something like that, right? Well – we got ‘em.

NOTE: The Eric Holder Fast and Furious Congressional Hearing is scheduled for December 8th, 2011.

    • Great catch Kathy. Please post this also on the Guns and No Roses post too.
Dec 8 th. That is a week. Time will tell.

    • Saw yesterday that the WH has sealed all the Fast and Furious records. I don’t see how they can keep any of it from Congress, though. If they try, then we have to hope that Congress takes it to the SCOTUS and/or starts impeachment because it’s beyond the pale for an administration to be complicit in possible (probable) crimes and then use executive privilege or national security (or whatever their excuse) to HIDE the evidence. I have no doubt that they will destroy it and thumb their noses at everyone. They have no morals, ethics, honor. That’s obvious beyond a shadow of a doubt.

  2. Thank you Leza. I read at that link, but found nothing in those pages that explains the certificate numbering process. LOL, am I overlooking something? I am burned out by this now.

  3. theft, fraud, slacking, uninterested and busy.

entitled to exist for big bucks… just show up

She needs to be interviewed and dismissed without bennies.

  4. who just showed the Madari Kindergarten……Something interesting. Note the address….I have noticed before when trying to find more info and locate the place on a map that Madari is often not listed with all the regular kindergartens in Nairobi and have never found it on google, but something before used to make me think that Madari was related somehow to Peponi schools…………..Well, notice when you go to that address someone just possted….the first address is srpeponi@nbi.ispkenya.com. This is before the Madari address……. I am not sure what sr means, but nbi means: nile basin initiative and the isp is very interesting. Seems it is a private (yet about to merge) internet service provider. Well , guess what the P.O>Box number is for that……….It is the same P.O. Box 43042 that Ruth and Simeon Ndesanjo had.

    • In Kenya Gazette, more than once, many times that is Ruth’s, Mack’s, Simeon’s, Victoria’s post office box.

      • Now ya got me wondering if Victoria might be a co-wife. 🙂 Good work, alfy, on the P.O. Box number.

      • well this evokes lots of questions. Does the Peponi shcool relate to her kindergarten.like is she under there wing or provision so to speak (which would differ from her original story) or is she just in some sort of partnership, or does she work for them as headmaster of this private school????? It would change the perspective a bit.
Or is this an address she goes by when convenient .She uses other addreses as well. But she has used this address since at least 1990’s and ,I can’t remember, but maybe before.Does she hide behind the peponi school. It just evokes some questions that need to be answered. She definately is hiding something… I would think ya’ll see that by now. I tried early on to persuade ya’ll to see that, by saying she never gives her scholastic achievements in her Madari website where she should have provided her credentials as a headmaster for 2osome years. She won’t tell you how old she is, but that she has been there for 44 years. In a long winded interview with her she really gives nothing substantial to her esistence, yet we are supposed to believe she is now a Baker from some obtuse journalist. There is certaninly something wrong with her persona.I think this women has been hiding out for a long time and only now that the spotlight is on her she is camera shy, and misleading. Don’t you guys get it who she IS?

    • hummmm….

    • Interesting Alfy. Here’s the ISP Kenya link –

If you go there and pull up Index of /wananchidocuments, you get some pretty interesting info.

      • Spinning Out a Story About Simeon Ndesandjo – Ruth Obama’s Second Husband; Updated! | We the People of the United States That House debate concerned nationalization of the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation. According to Wikipedia,
Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) is the state-run media organization of Kenya. It broadcasts in both English and Swahili, as well as in most local languages of Kenya. The corporation started its life in 1928 when Kenya was a British colony. In 1964, when Kenya became an independent country, the corporation’s name was changed to Voice of Kenya. In 1989, the Kenyan parliament reverted the corporation’s name from Voice of Kenya to Kenya Broadcasting Corporation. … During the rule of former president Daniel arap Moi, KBC became the official mouthpiece of the government. Each broadcast opened with a piece on what the president had been doing that day.

Daniel arap Moi was the Speaker of the House at the time of that 1963 debate; Mboya congratulated involved parties on the swift Africanization of the KBC.

So Mr. Simeon Ndesandjo, early on, was a key player in the business of Africanization and nationalization during the move to Kenyan independence from British rule. Not unlike his friend, BHO Sr.

Between 1964 and 1979, Simeon became the owner of a firm called High Fidelity Productions of Nairobi. In 1979, he obtained another prestigious and likely lucrative position: Chairman of CBS Records Kenya, a new subsidiary of CBS Records, International. That would be Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS), not the current CBS Records, which is a division of Viacom.

A photo from the “launch party” for the new subsidiary was published in Billboard magazine that November:

      • I am just puzzled right now, but why would peponi’s address be first on the Madari site? http://www.bing.com/search?q=ispkenya.com&src=IE-SearchBox&first=11&FORM=PERE look thru…see the one with the post office box number. I recognized that…I am pretty sure (hope so) that 43042 is Ruth’s and Simeons box number.
