Obot Lies About the Obama Birth Announcment are Just That, Lies!

The Kool-Aid Prescription

By LadysForest
August, 2011
I ran into a new claim by what I believe is a devoted obama enabler.

It goes a little sumptin’ like this:

The reason that the obama newspaper birth announcement that Lori Starfelt “found” is so different from the copy printed from the same film in March 2010,  is because it came from the Honolulu State Library’s ProQuest database subscription.  Not the actual microfilm stored on site at the Honolulu State Library.

“The Hawaii State Library has a subscription to Proquest.  Lori Starfelt asked the librarian to send her the newspaper birth announcements. So, what do you think was easier for the librarian?

a) Go to the basement, find the correct microfilm roll, put it in the machine, find the correct date and page, print it, then scan it into the computer and e-mail it to Lori.

or,

b) sit at her computer, login to Proquest, search for the correct date and page, copy that page to her computer and e-mail it to Lori.
Could this be why Lori got a pristine copy?”

Well!  I guess we can send one big ole giant “Thank You” to the Hussein faithful for making this discovery.

Yes siree!!!!  They sure got in ahead of me on this one.  Imagine my thinking that a librarian would go to the trouble of pulling the film off of the shelf, putting it on the viewer, finding the legal proof that obama was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961 – in a tiny newspaper birth announcement ad, inserting a dime into the attached printer, and printing that sucker off.

Why, they are so modernized and loaded down with expendable cash at that library – you just don’t have any idea.

But let me explain to you what “ProQuest” is, in brief it is a service.  In brief, they record (in the past on micro-film) publications provided to them to preserve.  They do not just go about and snatch up newspapers and books and make copies.  There would be a great deal of trouble for them, what with copyright laws and all, because, you see, they sell access to the archived records via specific databases.  They sell “licenses” to libraries and business for the specific publications that the libraries and businesses have an interest in having easy internet access to.

The libraries, once they purchase a license, have access only to the specific databases that they select at the time of the purchase – they do not have open access to the full archives of ProQuest.

Therefore, unless the Honolulu Star Bulletin and the Honolulu Advertiser had each sent their archived original newspapers, or their archive of micro-films to ProQuest specifically to be copied and stored in ProQuests databases, and arranged for them to be marketed to libraries, etc.,  the Honolulu State Library could not have brought the license to those papers even if they really were rolling in dough.

Forget about that for the moment.  Recall that it was Lori Starfelt’s OWN story that the copy came from the Honolulu State Library micro-filmed newspaper archive.    Sadly, the blogger, TexasDarlin, who is the person Lori Starfelt chose to gift with her amazing legal and irrefutable proof of oabma’s birth in Honolulu HI, deleted the entire blog – including the original commentary and contact by Lori Starfelt.  So, this historically significant first hand account is lost to us forever.  Odd..

After some searching, I located a direct quote from that original contact.  It was discussed on the FreeRepublic site.  I will now post the screenshot and the link to the page it can be found on.  Please recall that back in 2008/09 few bloggers and commentators utilized screen grabs and flash drives to preserve information and material.  We have since learned about “scrubbing” and become wary that “bloggers” may up and delete entire blogs and contents with absolutely no forewarning – thereby losing valuable sources of reference.

Starfelt quoted from TexasDarlin Blog -Free Republic post#7679

Now, on to what the Honolulu State Library has to say on the matter of their ProQuest database access.  I sent off a couple of inquires to them, just sort of casually testing the waters.  First I sent the following request, the date and publication are for a specific reason which I will not revisit in this post.

Response from Honolulu State Library on ProQuest

Obviously, being quite a curious person, I sent off another inquiry.  Just to be certain that I have the complete understanding of the Honolulu State Library’s ability to provide Lori Starfelt with an electronic copy of the Aug. 13, 1961 Honolulu Advertiser newspaper birth announcement ad for Hussein obama, generated from the ProQuest database per the newest claim of the obama lunatics.  Here is the reply from the Honolulu Library:

Final word from Honolulu Library on ProQuest database access

Sometimes it bees like that…………..

Next day update:  I was curious if ProQuest has a search-able listing of the libraries that have specific databases for specific publications.  I was thinking that they must have something like this, but it turns out that they do not.  Here is the no- nonsense reply to my emailed query.

(I had called and spoken to a nice woman two days ago about how ProQuest obtains publications and how the libraries acquire the databases – just general questions)

  1. Thanks for posting – it’s pretty cool how you punched it up. Clearly I need to spend time getting familiar with my WordPress editing tools, I can only manage the really basic stuff. 🙂

    • Great work, ladysforest. Amazing how the obots spin and spin and spin. Their purpose is only and ever to obfuscate and get everyone mired in details so the big picture gets lost.

Bottom line: NOBODY has produced a three-dimensional, paper copy of this supposed birth announcement AND the copies that exist all appear to have come from the same source. Nobody, despite a $10,000 reward! Of course, there’s an even bigger reward for proof that Barry’s LFCOLB is accurate. That reward is unclaimed, too. I wonder why?

      • Yes, thank you Miri, it’s correct.

From what we can tell the copies all came from the same source, which would mean there are LIKELY no more than ten copies of each. That is the usual number of service copies made from the master. Since neither of these publications appear to have been all that significant here on the mainland, it is not surprising that there are so few copies.

In other words, demand would have been minimal, so why go through the expense of making another master to make more service copies?

I think it’s interesting that Lori Starfelt kept using the word “microfiche” instead of micro-film. Big difference. I do wonder if there is microfiche of these publications.

        • Good catch. Microfiche does differ from microfilm.

Excerpts from the original story at Texas Darlin’s blog:

“A birth announcement in the newspaper has been found by one of our researchers.* It looks like this:” [Following are the infamous cropped excerpts we’ve grown to know and hate.]

“Although it’s possible that a birth certificate filed by Barack’s grandparents, while he was actually born elsewhere, led to this newspaper announcement, I personally think that’s unlikely because in 1961 these announcements came directly from the Vital Statistics Office as reported by local hospitals, according to the researcher who found this information.” [But if he wasn’t born in a hospital, as many suspect?]

“Her mother traveled from Honolulu to wherever Barack Sr. was because she genuinely believed that they were going to live together as a family. She chased her dream.. On her way there, she passed through Mercer Island.” [We now know that most of that is completely bogus.]

“The COLB on Smears and Kos has likely been altered, as TechDude’s and Polarik’s studies show, but probably reflects Obama’s true birth certificate so it’s not clear how or why it was altered. The way the COLB was handled and its suspicious presentation could have been intended as a diversion from the can of worms Obama doesn’t want anyone to open.” [Take some time to digest that one.]

“* The birth announcement was tracked down by Lori Starfelt, the producer of a documentary that PUMA is working on.

  2. Excerpt from another Starfelt comment on the TD post:

“Hi, I’ve talked to the Department of Vital Records and the Honolulu Advertiser. In 1961, the hospitals would take their new birth certificates to Vital Records. At the end of the week, Vital Records would post a sheet that for [sic] the news paper to pick up that contained births, deaths, marriages and divorces. The Advertiser routinely printed this information in their Sunday edition. This is not a paid announcement that his grandmother could arrange. This is information that comes from Vital Records – we know this because this particular section reflects those records. They didn’t have a provision for paid, one sentence announcement that would be included in the Vital Records. At the time, if a child was born outside a hospital, the family would have 30 days to apply for a birth certificate and Vital Records would expect to see prenatal care records, or pediatrician records of the first check up, etc. They’d also want the notarized statement from the mid-wife. Of course, they could apply later but that would [be] noted as a different kind of birth certificate.”

    • What is interesting about your post above is that I found that exact same wording on the net when I was looking for Starfelt stuff way back before I published my research. Only it was in an “article” supposedly written by a reporter. Stupid me for not knowing about screenshots and how to save things back then. I copied and pasted the “article” – which is nearly word for word identical to this comment she wrote herself on TD.

      Hummmmm

      • Do you remember the article, the host website, and the author?

        • No, I was unaware of good blogging techniques back then. It is in my “Extra, Extra” post – I tried to find where it had originated from the other day, but I had no luck, and no idea how to do that – maybe check my PC history for that time frame….if I can. I’m trying, but I don’t seem able to get back that far.
Well, here is the link to my post where I pasted the thing, I’ll keep looking for the source:

          Extra, Extra, Announcing obama’s Birth

          • Lady’s – In a search, use a couple specific words from the article that might not be common in your other files like “pediatrician” that is in that paragraph and see if it pops up. That often works for me.

  3. Sleuth! The photo wizard. TY for fixing that lead photo of Barry with his Kool Aid. I didn’t know how. 🙂

  4. Another great research project by Ladysforest! I love exposing Obot lies! Watch for it though because they hate to lose! Truth and Facts trump lies every single time!

Glad you found that ProQuest offers different subscriptions to their clients. That explains why I could go to a different state and find different information on ProQuest that wasn’t available in my own state. That Hawaiian State Library NEVER HAD the information from ProQuest for 1961 is also a great find.

  5. Wonderful, Ladysforest, as Always! I remember your articles on the that “advertisement” aka as a birth announcement with the lines/scratches going through it. Just as clearly as I remember the woman in line getting her turn at the window and paying for a Long Form Birth Certificate captured on video.

~~ Clearly, the Mrs. Barack H. Obama could have been Ruth, for all we now. It could have been anyone, so I discount it as it doesn’t prove anything to me. barky the Kenyan, goatherder scholar married everyone he met anyway.

Yo Lori, where are ya? hmmmph. hah!

Way back in the day, when I had my children, it was me who called the paper and requested the birth announcement. For free. It usually showed up a few weeks after the birth because we were kept in the hospital, then known as ‘confinement’ for a week, sometimes longer. I do remember that anyone applying for a marriage certificate was automatically published. And, as an aside, attorneys were forbidden from advertising at that time.

Wonder if Hawaii had the same deal; apply for a marriage license and get published as it was here on the mainland in the 60s and 70s…

The Long Form Birth Certicate of one barky the Hawaiian is an historical artifact and it should be readily available upon demand by any American that wishes to review it. Where’s the Plaque on the K Hospital lawn proclaiming the place of birth of an American president — and where is the Plaque on the lawn of the Home he was brought to as a newborn infant.

    I’ll wait.

    Peekaboo, Lori.

  6. Colin Powell on the record lying about the LFBC!

    Reponds to Birther Summit!

    • “Immigration tends not to be a Muslim thing??????????” Has he noticed that MOST of the 9/11 hijackers were ILLEGAL ALIENS?

We’re a “coterie”. Did you know? How high falooting of him.

We’re NOT trying to convince him Barry’s not a citizen. We’re trying to convince him that what’s TRUE is that he’s NOT A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN. How would whoever that reporter is KNOW that people are trying to get Powell’s attention when nobody reports it? Has anybody reported that offer of thousands to Powell? Hardly.

Oh, I have to listen again. Can’t get enough of that opening line, especially with the stamped “FORGED!”

Difficulties with “tolerance of Muslim activity?”

It’s “ugly” to ask a POTUS to prove his eligibility? Powell, he didn’t produce ANY birth certificate. Neither long form nor short form. “He’s shown his certificates?” NO, he’s NEVER shown ANY “certificate.” A certificate is a three-dimensional CERTIFIED piece of paper. Why, COLIN, doesn’t he show it to any of the JUDGES instead of wasting millions of dollars hiding it?

He doesn’t choose to participate any longer. Don’t make us laugh. He’s never participated and he’s never been a Republican, imho. What a clown. I’m glad Cheney got under his skin. Way to go, Dick. Like Rummy, Dick doesn’t suffer fools gladly.

And I’m happy he got under Condi’s skin, too, because Condi KNOWS and SHE AIDED AND ABETTED THE COVER UP. She ran the State Dept. that investigated the passport breach and cauterization. She knows every word that heavily redacted report says. She KNOWS what’s been hidden. So she deserves any blast Cheney gives her. She’s a RINO, too.

      • Its infuriating.

Dick Cheney has redeemed himself. oh yes, he has. And anything Colin Powell charges against Dick as respects “war crime”, he himself is complicit.

A military officer lying through his teeth.

Yo, Allen West, get a load of this!

And, Condi, Sweetheart, a young man named Lt. Quarels Harris, Jr. was murdered under your watch. (We will investigate and prosecute to the fullest extent of the law) (blip)

        • And the day after this was published, biden and barky had a private audience with the SCOTUS… mind you, an individual that was a defendant in cases before the Court:

          http://www.newsmax.com/KenTimmerman/brennan-passport-breach/2009/01/12/id/337482

This whole tale would make a great Lifetime Movie “based on a true story”, of course.

          Malicious Liars.

          • Yes! Ken Timmerman–the only lamestream reporter to take his job seriously. Thank you, Ken. Eternally grateful for that story. Well worth repeating a few choice excerpts:

“Sources who tracked the investigation tell Newsmax that the main target of the breach was the Obama passport file, and that the contractor accessed the file in order to “cauterize” the records of potentially embarrassing information.

“They looked at the McCain and Clinton files as well to create confusion,” one knowledgeable source told Newsmax. “But this was basically an attempt to cauterize the Obama file.” [But WAIT! What needed to be cauterized? He has that perfect long-form birth certificate. We’ve all seen it by now and it matches his Bill Ayers-written biography exactly. What was to cauterize? What could POSSIBLY be “embarrassing?”]

At the time of the breach, Brennan was working as an unpaid adviser to the Obama campaign.

“This individual’s actions were taken without the knowledge or direction of anyone at The Analysis Corp. and are wholly inconsistent with our professional and ethical standards,” Brennan’s company said in a statement sent to reporters after the passport breach was made public. [That’s what they said on Mission Impossible, too. “The Secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions.” Uh huh.]

The passport files include “personally identifiable information such as the applicant’s name, gender, social security number, date and place of birth, and passport number,” according to the inspector general report.

The files may contain additional information including “original copies of the associated documents,” the report added. Such documents include birth certificates, naturalization certificates, or oaths of allegiance for U.S.-born persons who adopted the citizenship of a foreign country as minors. [Now why did they mention THAT?]

The Obama campaign acknowledged at its “Fight the Smears” Web site that Obama was a foreign national until the age of 18, by virtue of his father’s British then Kenyan citizenship. … The State Department chalked up the passport file snooping discovered in March 2008 to “imprudent curiosity” by contract employees hired to help process passport applications. [So THAT Secretary (of State) helped create a bogus cover story totally at odds with what the investigation showed! WHY, Condi? Why?] … Following the breach, State Department managers met with Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Joseph Biden, whose committee has oversight over the Foreign Service and the passport office. Biden will be sworn in as Obama’s vice president on Jan. 20. [Ah, yes. Rewarded for services rendered. For that service as well as for, shall we say, having his son “help” Barry by spiriting Larry Sinclair to another state to keep his story from impacting Barry?]

The State Department Office of Inspector General (OIG) issued a 104-page report on the breach last July. Although it is stamped “Sensitive but Unclassified,” the report was heavily redacted in the version released to the public, with page after page blacked out entirely. …

Had Brennan been appointed CIA director, as rumored in the Obama campaign shortly after the election, senators also would have questioned him about an article he wrote in an obscure foreign policy magazine over the summer. [Besides asking him about his employee who cauterized Barry’s passport file. WHY? Key question never asked. But wait! Just wait! After 2012? Subpoena. You can run, but you cannot hide from We the People.]

The article, entitled “The Conundrum of Iran: Strengthening Moderates without Acquiescing to Belligerence,” appeared in the July issue of “The Annals of the American Academy of Political and Social Science.”

Among other recommendations, it argued that the next U.S. administration should grant political legitimacy to the terrorist organizations Hezbollah and Hamas, and should exercise “strategic patience” with Iran rather than engaging in “bellicose” rhetoric and coercive diplomacy.”

But Mr. Brennan didn’t get that job because he didn’t want to face the music. He didn’t want to answer questions from the representatives of We the People during his confirmation hearings.

        • It’s so funny. I read in Time magazine that Cheney said that Colin Powell was always too concerned with “public opinion” to be a good leader. So, to PROVE DICK ABSOLUTELY CORRECT, Colin has been running around, appearing on any TV show that will have him, in order to whine about how Cheney bashed him unfairly. That’s how much Colin cares what people think of him. Proving Dick’s point exactly.

  7. The obots just say things, and then they expect others to believe their lies. Then when it’s checked out, that really throws them. They can be at a loss of words for a little while until they make up their next lie.

  8. Believe me when I say I don’t really want to bring THIS name up again :/
But, I was trying again to find Loretta Fuddy in the SSDI. Still not there in the databases I have tried (genealogybank, familysearch) which have some entries through Jan, 2014. Anyway, was testing with some familiar names

and found this alias for Lori Starfelt. My memory ain’t all that great, but I do not remember this one at all. Anyone?…Name: Lori Pequignot

I remember her having a different birth name, right? But this doesn’t sound familiar..was this a married name from earlier?

    • I never heard that one before, SEO. Sounds native something. (Is is Swiss?) Not her maiden name, for sure. She had another marriage but that wasn’t the name, either. Not that I know the names off hand; it’s just that one is not familiar at all. Does she still have two dates of death? I doubt Fuddy would show up this early. I remember that we waited months for Ms. Pequignot to appear.

    • Ok, it’s my turn to say that I can’t believe that I’m bringing this up again! I was going through piles of notes, and came across Lori Starfelt once again. She was married to William Starfelt, who’s parents are Raymond & Dorothy (Knapheide) Mutert.

If you follow the link, and read the info for William, they only list his spouse as Lori! There is no last name! Look at all the rest of the names on that page, because there always seems to be a last name.

Then, if you click on their child, Graham, again, it only lists his mother as Lori (no last name).

What are they hiding? I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if she isn’t linked to SDS or the Weather Underground. Really, if she came up with the birth announcement, and people saw her link, would anyone believe her??

  9. I just reread her biographies and that name didn’t show up. Her birth name was Peters . And only her marriage to William Starfelt and her relationship with Brad Mays are mentioned.

  10. Though I don’t believe the conclusion of this article, I do think it debunks the fake birth announcements. The immigration papers contradict the narrative during that period of time.

    http://www.americanthinker.com/2011/11/the_case_against_barack_obama_sr.html

    • If SAD got BHO Sr. to claim he was Barry’s father, whether in 1961 or in 1971, and had him adopt Barry or simply had paperwork created saying BHO Sr. was the father, or even if both of them adopted Barry, then he can say they’re his father and mother. I think that’s what he’s doing. He never talks about her giving birth to him. He just vaguely calls her his mother. Same with BHO Sr. Calls him his father. But there are all kinds of situations where someone refers to people as mom and dad when they’re not biologically the parents. This reminds me of how Mark neglects to say certain things, too. Like how he says BHO Sr. and SALLY “met” and then how Barry was “conceived” and born. But he doesn’t say conceived by Sally via BHO Sr. and then Sally gave birth to Barry. It’s like how he says his own mother and father “met” and how he himself was “conceived” but he never says it was RUTH who got pregnant BY BHO Sr. and gave birth to Mark.
