O. Onyango Obama appears to have forgotten to pay his taxes for several years. Massachusetts property records show that tax liens were filed against properties bearing his name (or variations thereof) by the IRS.
This one from April 1990, covers two tax years, for a total of $3,876.52. The property address is 48 Bishop Allen Drive in Cambridge, filed against Omar H. Obama.
This one from June 1992, covers the previous tax year, for a total of $971.35. It’s the same property at 48 Bishop Allen Dr., but this time filed against Obama O. Onyango.
Whether or how he owned the property is unclear. Details on that address can’t be found by searching on the address itself.
Today we learned from news reports that Uncle Omar’s deportation order dates from 1992, so we might assume that his illegal status and non-payment of taxes were the reasons for the order, unless he had a green card that was revoked when he didn’t pay taxes.
Why he didn’t follow the deportation order–why he wasn’t found and deported– remains to be discovered.
So far, no news on whether or not Uncle Omar voted in Massachusetts (or anywhere else in this country).
We’re looking for his address in Framingham. This post will be updated as news comes in. Stay tuned!

(Boston Globe) — Officials released President Obama’s uncle from Plymouth County jail yesterday after holding him for more than two weeks on an immigration detainer for violating an order to return to his native Kenya in 1992.
US officials refused to disclose any other information about Onyango Obama, who remained in the United States undetected until Framingham police arrested him Aug. 24 on drunken driving and other charges.
Yesterday, federal immigration officials refused to say whether the 67-year-old Framingham resident posted bond, whether they are keeping track of his whereabouts, or even whether they are still seeking his deportation, raising questions about public accountability in the case.
The US Immigration and Customs Enforcement website confirmed Obama’s release by listing him as “not in custody.”
Although the website confirmed it, Brian P. Hale, an agency spokesman, said he would not comment on the case because privacy laws and the agency’s policies prohibit it. He said the database is accurate, however.
As a result of the immigration agency’s refusal to discuss the case, it is unclear what happened to Obama after he left the Plymouth County House of Correction — or whether he could be returned to jail.
An official at the Plymouth County House of Correction who would not give his name said yesterday afternoon that Obama was no longer in custody. He had been taken to Burlington, where US Immigration and Customs Enforcement has offices, he said.
In Framingham, the people who shared a modest frame house with Obama on a residential street said they did not know where he was. A co-worker at Conti Liquors, where Obama worked, said they had not heard of his release. His Cleveland lawyers, Margaret Wong and Scott Bratton, were unavailable for comment, and an assistant said they had not been notified that he was released.

Where’d he go? My guesses: Spirited out of the country so there will never be any hearings to embarrass Barry. He’ll pop up back in Kenya, in the compound where Granny Sarah is imprisoned for the duration. Free Granny Sarah! The mystery surrounding ‘Uncle Omar’: Obama’s relative sprung from jail – but where is he now?

President Obama’s so-called ‘Uncle Omar’ was quietly released from jail yesterday, but the reason why, as well as his current whereabouts, are unknown.
Because immigration agency won’t discuss the case, it’s unclear whether he could be returned to jail.
Jessica Vaughan, director of policy studies at the Centre for Immigration Studies, an organization that favours stiff limits on immigration, blasted the agency, saying it should be more transparent, especially in a case involving the president’s relative. She told the Globe that the public deserves to be informed on the circumstances of Mr Obama’s release, since he violated a deportation order and is accused of drunken driving.
She contends that such material would be public information in a criminal court case. Vaughan said: ‘This whole nonsense about privacy is a policy. It’s not the law. It’s a choice that [the immigration agency] is making. I think it’s very cowardly on [the agency’s] part, to be honest.’ She added: ‘Their behaviour shows that they don’t want to be accountable to anybody.’

Rep. King Upset With Amnesty for Obama Uncle

An incensed congressman from Iowa wants the House Judiciary Committee to subpoena President Barack Obama’s recently arrested uncle, according to a statement issued by Rep. Steve King. King also renewed his urgent calls for congressional hearings into Obama’s new program granting amnesty to those in the country illegally.
“On Aug. 29, Congressman King suggested that drunken ‘Uncle Omar’ Obama could be the first beneficiary of the president’s new Executive Amnesty for Illegal Aliens program,” communications director John Kennedy said in a press release. “With today’s revelations, it appears that Congressman King’s suspicions were correct, and that the Obama administration may have used the new rules to grant amnesty to the president’s uncle.”
In his statement, King said, “President Obama’s uncle, ‘Uncle Omar,’ has been picked up for drunken driving with almost twice the blood-alcohol level that is allowable by law in Massachusetts,” the statement read. “It’ll be the third time that he’s been interdicted with regard to being an illegal immigrant. He’s twice before been adjudicated for deportation, this time Immigration and Customs Enforcement just released him, after they had him in custody, as if he’s not going to be a danger to our society.
“The special privileges for the president’s family who are illegal immigrants, this is the second one,” King continued in the statement. “His ‘Aunt Zeituni’ was also picked up as an illegal immigrant and finally granted an asylum by ICE, by the Department of Homeland Security. We need to have Congressional hearings into favorite treatment of the White House.
“This executive amnesty that the president has ordered, that they’re not going to enforce immigration law, and who pops up first? Drunken ‘Uncle Omar.’ I want to subpoena drunken ‘Uncle Omar’ to come into the House Judiciary Committee along with his attorney, who’s the same attorney that President Obama’s ‘Aunt Zeituni’ had that got her asylum.” The statement concluded, “We must enforce our immigration laws, and we must enforce those immigration laws equally across all society. Justice has got to be blind, it can’t play favorites, and I want to have hearings in the House Judiciary Committee over drunken ‘Uncle Omar.’ ”

While Napolitano and Morton enacted the DREAM Act by bureaucratic fiat, Morton was crafting his own plan. He outlined that plan in a memo that elaborated on those criteria in June, giving his underlings “prosecutorial discretion” on deportation cases, which further cemented the government’s refusal to deport illegals.
Obama’s uncle fit several categories on Morton’s endless list that considered the following:
* whether the person poses a national security or public safety concern;
* the person’s ties and contributions to the community, including family relationships;
* the person’s ties to the home country and condition in the country;
* the person’s age, with particular consideration given to minors and the elderly. …
* whether the person is likely to be granted temporary or permanent status or other relief from removal, including as a relative of a U.S. citizen or permanent resident;
* whether the person is likely to be granted temporary or permanent status or other relief from removal, including as an asylum seeker.
In ordering the review of deportation cases, which should be technically beyond review because the deportees are here illegally, Obama essentially declared the DREAM Act de-facto law.
How many more of the president’s many relatives are roaming the country illegally we do not know, but even if they are caught, deportation is unlikely given the favored treatment the president’s kin received.
Now that Uncle Onyango is free to drive drunk again, the next time perhaps killing someone, the president’s servitors have just 299,999 cases to go.

Illegal Aliens Receive Billions in IRS Tax Benefits

On July 7, 2011, the U.S. Department of Treasury’s inspector general for tax administration issued a startling report entitled “Individuals Who Are Not Authorized to Work in the United States Were Paid $4.2 Billion in Refundable Credits.”
No wonder the nation’s finances are in turmoil.
According to the Treasury report, foreign nationals not authorized to work in the United States and ineligible for a Social Security Number (SSN) are nevertheless receiving government help from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The IRS currently issues undocumented aliens an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) to facilitate their filing of tax returns.
Many illegal workers are paid in cash “under the table” and thus file no tax forms at all; but a number of undocumented workers, according to the Treasury report, are receiving public benefits contrary to federal and state laws.
For example, the Child Tax Credit (CTC) and the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC) allow payment of federal funds as tax benefits to undocumented aliens. Add to these the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), and the result is tax refunds that provide incentives for foreign nationals to enter, reside, and work in the United States without authorization and in violation of current U.S. immigration law.
The CTC, ACTC, and EITC have come under review because of the significant volume of Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) returns filing for these credits using fraudulent data, such as names and SSNs.
The Treasury report notes that the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) temporarily increased ACTC eligibility by changing the income threshold for calculating the credits in 2009 and 2010. The result was that in 2010, undocumented alien (ITIN) filers were able to claim higher tax refunds that totaled $4.2 billion. They represent an increase from $924 million in 2005.
It is clear that unauthorized aliens are filing ITIN tax returns with fraudulent data. The Treasury report found that “One common type of fraudulent refund involves taxpayers fabricating a Wage and Tax Statement (Form W-2) that shows excess withholding and results in a tax refund.”
Street-smart illegal immigrants are wise to the federal government’s incompetence.
Making matters worse, the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Accounts Management Taxpayers Assurance Program (AMTAP) has failed to take steps to notify U.S. taxpayers when it is obvious that their SSNs and names have been compromised.
The Treasury Report found “sufficient evidence” that the IRS took no steps to notify legitimate taxpayers that their SSNs, and sometimes their names, were used by undocumented aliens filing tax returns on regular or ITIN tax returns.
The Child Tax Credit (CTC) benefit also is being fraudulently used by illegal aliens.
The Treasury Report indicates that the IRS will discuss amending the Tax Code to limit eligibility for the CTC and ACTC. Meanwhile, in reply to suggestions of misfeasance, the IRS answers that the agency does not have the legal authority to verify and disallow CTC and/or ACTC applicants as to their qualifications including their residency claim.
Meanwhile, over at the White House, President Barack Obama’s two years and nine months in office have seen a rapid decline in his approval ratings with regard to proposed programs and job performance. At the top of the list is widespread disappointment at his promised immigration reform and border control that have yet to come to pass. The failure of the federal government to control the borders not only means lost jobs, escalating healthcare costs, escalating criminal justice costs including victim costs, educational costs, welfare costs, and now fraudulent tax refund costs.
Immigrant advocates promulgate the myth that illegal aliens are simple souls in need of government assistance. In actuality, illegal aliens, despite their level of education, have become experts at taking the U.S. government for all its worth.
President Obama’s immigration gyrations range from providing undocumented aliens with billions in tax refunds to promising U.S. citizens an emphasis on deportations.
In place of immigration reform, the president has chosen a re-election gimmick that authorizes by bureaucratic fiat “prosecutorial discretion” to be exercised by government immigration lawyers in halting the deportation of illegal aliens in deportation/removal proceedings.
A bewildered citizenry is witnessing a White House form of bureaucratic amnesty!

News is a virus. It’s around and inside us all the time. But we only fall victim to news that escapes our defenses and fills a void. The Uncle Obama story fills voids of resentment in susceptible people. If there weren’t such people, the story would peter out soon. Firewall: Obama’s family struggles with legal issues

As far as anyone knows, President Obama is the first president to have family members unlawfully enter into and remain illegally in the United States.
One would presume that with all the intelligence information-gathering capabilities available to the president, he would have some idea of where his various kinfolk are located, especially since they’ve been here for a decade or two or three. If Osama bin Laden could be found halfway around the world, then Uncle Omar and Aunt Zeituni shouldn’t have presented much of a challenge. Why did it take a local cop on a routine traffic stop to discover Uncle Omar’s citizenship problem?
Now, of course, the $64,000 question is, how many more of the president’s relatives are roaming around the country illegally?
Can’t say, at least not until the next aunt, uncle or cousin surfaces involved in some kind of questionable immigration mischief. With Uncle Omar and Auntie Zeituni already here, all that is needed to complete the cast of characters for this latter-day Clampett’s clan reunion is Granny, Elly May and Jethro. Then we could have a contemporary remake of “The Beverly Hillbillies,” filmed on location right inside the White House, the big difference being that the Clampetts struck oil prior to moving to Beverly Hills, whereas the Obamas are now living off the earnings of the Mother Lode — the American taxpayer.

Jethro Obama? Nothing would surprise me at this point. Nobody can possibly believe that Barry didn’t know about these illegal kin. He visited them, for goodness sake! Feeling like a lone voice crying in the wilderness, I dared to follow the instruction of an extraordinary leader, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Therefore, I judged Barack Hussein Obama by the content of his character rather than the color of his skin.
Obama’s admitted plan to “spread the wealth around” and his anti-American associations told me that he was the wrong man to lead the greatest nation on the planet. Obama’s divisive, dictatorial, and bullying behavior has proven me correct.
Our president is nothing more than a Chicago thug community agitator stirring up discontent, inspiring racial hatred and hatred for achievers. The bottom line of every Obama speech regarding the economy is you have too little because those guys have too much.
Obama’s approach is non-presidential, totally low-rent, appealing to our lower nature, and totally despicable. Lord help us.”

I don’t know if this seems fair to you, but it certainly doesn’t seem fair to me. Even if it’s not the case, the way it looks is that Onyango got away with a crime because he’s the president’s uncle. I’m pretty sure that if that wasn’t the case, the consequences would have been different. I understand that as a person, you feel an obligation to your family and feel that you have to look out for them. However, I also feel that if you’re the president of the United States, you have to put those feelings aside. You can’t just make judicial exceptions to benefit your family. You have to treat everyone the same way.
The United States judicial system is supposed to see everyone as equals under the eyes of the law, but in this case, it doesn’t seem so. It seems ironic that after so much negative talk about illegal immigrants and drunk driving, Oyango Obama didn’t really incur any serious repercussions.”

I think Erica has her head on straight and I applaud her for her common sense and for speaking out. I wonder how many of her peers are puzzled by this, coming from the administration of a president who constantly cites “fairness” to rationalize his policies.

The Boston Herald reassures us that Barack Obama’s illegal alien uncle, Onyango Obama, is not letting America’s feeble attempt to briefly consider enforcing its fraud, immigration, and drunk-driving laws get him down:

A state rep. calls on Congress to investigate Barry for allowing open borders and illegal aliens to roam free, even after being caught. Omar is a case in point.

It should be mentioned that in the Republican debate in Las Vegas, Michelle Bachman said the Obama is the one that doesn’t protect the laws regarding immigration, then said it was Obama’s aunt and uncle who were in violation of the law, were deported and are still here.

Napolitano said that the government only gives them enough money to deport only 400,000 a year in an immigration hearing in Congress! Also Naps said there have been no discussions to prosecute sanctuary cities!

Wow! Did she really say that? I didn’t see the debate but wish I had. I caught a few minutes of Matt Lauer interviewing Trump this morning (what’s up with him being back all of a sudden?). Lauer tried to get Trump to slam almost every Republican candidate, but of course he wouldn’t. He tried to criticize Trump for making an appearance somewhere with Michele, but Trump is too smart to bite. He also tried to get Trump to say which Republican he’d support, but Trump wouldn’t bite on that one, either. But the best part was when Trump said Obama has been horrible for America. Lauer seriously looked as if he was going to cry. He looked so upset that Trump got that out on HIS show. I loved every minute of it.

That was great. I never heard that statistic before–that illegal immigration costs every US family $1000 a year. Think what you could do with a spare $1000!
I had a gut feeling that the obots would HAVE TO come after her for that statistic. Of course they did! Politifact (which I will not honor by linking to them) claims her numbers are “new” to them BUT their experts have already shown that the costs of benefits to illegal aliens are exaggerated. Right. I heard that one of the candidates pointed out that by giving in-state tuition to people who aren’t even citizens of the US, much less of Texas, Perry is discriminating AGAINST US citizens in favor of illegal aliens. So true. An Arkansan has to pay more, but a Mexican gets a break. Is that fair? Well, Perry does seem to be a regionalist–that region that includes parts of Mexico along the border.

President Barack Obama’s Homeland Security Department officials released a report that claims Immigration and Customs Enforcement deported a record number of illegal immigrants in the last fiscal year, including an “unprecedented number of convicted illegals with criminal records.” However, a closer look at the figures reveals the report is bogus, according to the lawmaker in-charge of immigration oversight.
In the 2011 fiscal year which ended last month, ICE officials claim they deported more than 396,000 illegal immigrants nationwide — the largest number in the agency’s history, ICE officials said in a statement released yesterday. Of these, nearly 55 percent or more than 216,000 of the people deported were convicted of felonies or misdemeanors — an 89 percent increase since FY 2008 when George W. Bush was president.

“In other words, the Obama administration is cooking the books to make it look like they are enforcing immigration laws, when in reality they are enacting amnesty through inaction,” he stated.
Under the Obama administration, worksite enforcement has dropped 70%, making it easier for illegal immigrants to live and work in the U.S.
And DHS recently established a working group with the specific purpose of overruling or preventing orders of removal for illegal immigrants.
Even President Obama admitted to Hispanic voters recently that his administration’s deportation numbers are ‘deceptive.’
“It’s disappointing that the Obama administration continues to put illegal immigrants before the American people. Fourteen million Americans are currently looking for work,” Smith pointed out.
“Meanwhile, seven million illegal immigrants have jobs in the U.S. We could free up millions of jobs for citizens and legal immigrants if we simply enforced our immigration laws. The President’s policies just don’t add up. It’s time to elect a President that puts the American people first by enforcing our immigration laws,” Smith urged.

Good find, Leza. I KNEW when I kept hearing the lamestream hype that story today that it HAD TO BE A LIE. This is because they saw how illegal immigration is becoming a big issue in the Republican debates, so they’re going to try to FOOL Americans into thinking that Barry is doing a good job deporting all those illegal felons. One question they MIGHT ASK is when and how these CRIMINALS got into the country? And why they don’t consider all ILLEGAL aliens to be CRIMINALS?

I think the progressives say it’s a “misdemeanor” or a “civil offense” not a criminal offense. If you break the law, in my book, you’re a criminal. Mexico throws illegals in prison, so they must agree.

I bet the two of them bugged out as soon as the song was over. They have a fund raiser to attend! The real reason for the trip, so they can get the taxpayers to pay their way to flyover country. They went onto the field with a wounded warrior and a little kid. I’ll bet they brought the hero with them so they wouldn’t be booed.

If DHS says 11 million, the real number is probably at least 4 times higher. Since DHS knows all 11 million, then they can go round them all up now and protect OUR HOMELAND, which is their job.
