      This appears to be the story you read, Bridgette. What happens in five years? Why, it’s the end of Barry’s reign (even if he manages to usurp or steal the next election). So they’re planning how NOT to cede power when the inevitable happens because BARRY cannot run for a third term. Their POTUS will be finished.

      I’d like to remind Ms. Maldonado of history:

      1. humans lived in the American Southwest as long ago as 9000 B.C. Some of these people were white–their cultural artifacts are associated with a contemporaneous European culture. Therefore, whites and their descendants have as much a right to the American Southwest as you think you do.

      2. your “Mexican ancestors”, if anything, themselves STOLE the lands by conquest either to make them part of the Mexican empire (no earlier than 1800) OR to make them part of the Aztec empire. Subjects of empires have been conquered, by land thieves!

      3. Mexico did not exist nor did the Mexican people exist prior to the arrival of Spaniards in the New World because to BE Mexican is to be of mixed “Indian” blood and SPANISH blood or else to be a citizen of Mexico, which didn’t exist until the early 1800s. The Spaniards were CONQUISTADORS. Your ancestors conquered and enslaved the native peoples of nearly the entire Western Hemisphere! Some heritage, Ms. Maldonado. Check out your surname. It gives you a big clue. If you’re going to assume the wounds of ancestors, you have to assume the crimes of ancestors. Otherwise, live the life you’ve been given and stop using old, imagined grievances for political gain.

      4. the lands you claim were stolen from your Mexican ancestors were either bought and paid for by the U.S. (Gadsden Purchase) or ceded by the Mexican government to the U.S. (Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo). Texas, of course, won its war of independence and became free of the Mexican DICTATOR who had ILLEGALLY suspended the Constitution, thereby bringing upon himself civil war.

      Yes, this is the one I was referring to that I read. The war on the states, and the Mexican kids in U S schools being taught that the US stole their land…it all adds up. Plus we have a LaRaza supporter on the Supreme Court…Sotomayor! She was such a good choice.

      Remember the video of the Communist guy, a teacher in CA, riling up Latinos and others at a rally ..part of the same group allegiance.

      Can’t wait for more of the same third world country riots and total mayhem to occur in the US like what is happening in Mexico. Those drug cartels are taking over city by city, and the Mexican government is losing its war. Renaming Mexico as Columbia II. (Oh I know, they wouldn’t have problems if the US didn’t want/need their drugs!).

      To bad they don’t put their energy to work in their own country..oh, that’s right its not safe there!

      It is time for people to rise up alright…to rise up against crime and corruption and a government that looks the other way.

        Remind me why the lamestream don’t like Perry? He’s AGAINST a border fence? “No, I don’t support a fence on the border,” he said. “The fact is, it’s 1,200 miles from Brownsville to El Paso. Two things: How long you think it would take to build that? And then if you build a 30-foot wall from El Paso to Brownsville, the 35-foot ladder business gets real good.”

        That border fence would be a wonderful INFRASTRUCTURE project, like the CCC, which would put people to work AND help the economy of the states all along the border. The best thing is that We the People support the FENCE by an overwhelming majority AND we want that border CLOSED NOW.

    I don’t believe that Perry is “surging” in the polls. I think these polls are rigged. I cannot believe that he’s going around admitting to being against the border fence and supporting giving children of illegals breaks on tuition. They think that by toadying up to Hispanics the Republicans will win. It’s ridiculous. They ASSUME that Hispanics as a bloc are all for open borders, illegal aliens taking U.S. jobs, and getting benefits paid for by U.S. taxpayers. It’s RACIST! Why do they assume that LEGAL voters, who happen to be of Mexican ancestry, are FOR rampant illegality? My guess is that the people of border states, no matter their ancestry, are as outraged and as afraid of the violence they see coming across the border every day as the rest of America.

      Our friend in TX, Rep. Leo Berman, who supports the birthers… this was an April article about Perry and immigration. It was an agreement that Berman had with Perry when Berman was running for governor. Berman dropped out of the race because of the handshake, and then Perry changed his stance. There were many nasty ads coming out of Senator Hutchinson’s corner against Perry too, when she was running against Perry. An aside, Berman didn’t buy Obama’s long form birth certificate either.

        Part of the Agreement. I agree with all Berman’s suggestions. The Left calls Berman crazy for wanting to uphold the laws in our country. Berman is one of the really good guys!

The Committee was forced to issue a subpoena on July 14, 2011, to the Obama Office of Management and Budget for documents related to approving the Credit Subsidy Costs of all DOE loan guarantees – every Democrat on the Oversight Subcommittee opposed issuing the subpoena.

    June 24, 2011 – The Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations held a hearing regarding OMB’s Role in the DOE Loan Guarantee Process. Sole witness Jeffrey Zients, Deputy Director of the Office of Management and Budget was a no show.

    July 11, 2011 – Committee staff conduct a second in camera review. Committee staff asked OMB about the production of the other categories of documents sought by this Committee, specifically, OMB’s internal communications and documents relating to Solyndra, and its communications with the White House. As the OMB had done for months, OMB staff refused to provide and answer about whether they would produce these materials, and instead maintained that the OMB-DOE communications sufficiently show whether or not OMB had has done its job with regard to Solyndra.

    July 12, 2011 – Energy and Commerce Committee leaders announced the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations were to hold a business meeting on Thursday, July 14, 2011 to consider a motion authorizing the issuance of a subpoena for certain records of the Office and Management and Budget relating to the Department of Energy’s issuance of a loan guarantee to Solyndra, Inc. on September 2, 2009.

    July 13, 2011 – Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee Chairman Cliff Stearns wrote a letter to the Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to provide a final opportunity to avoid the issuance of a subpoena. OMB refused.

    July 14, 2011 – The Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations held a business meeting to consider the issuance of the subpoena. The Subcommittee voted to issue the subpoena 14 to 8.

    July 15, 2011 – The subpoena is issued to OMB, setting a July 22, 2011, deadline.

    July 22, 2011 – OMB fails to meet the subpoena’s dealing. Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee Chairman Cliff Stearns informs OMB that they have failed to comply with the subpoena issued on July 15, 2011 regarding the Solyndra loan guarantee. Chairman Stearns requested that OMB produce the documents no later than 9:00 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2011.

    July 25, 2011 – OMB fails to produce the documents by 9:00am deadline.

    August 2011 – OMB agrees to produce all documents necessary to the Committee’s investigation, with appropriate safeguards relating to proprietary information. Production continues.

      Congress lets this go on and on. When will they FORCE Barry to COMPLY WITH THE LAW? He’s going to stonewall them like he stonewalls We the People. They should know from history that Barry will NOT reveal or allow to be revealed ANY evidence that incriminates him or proves him to be the liar that he is. He stonewalls on his birth certificate. He stonewalls on his college records. He stonewalls on his records as a state senator. He stonewalls on EVERYTHING that might reveal something “embarrassing.” Or criminal. Or incompetent. When will CONGRESS VOTE TO IMPEACH this man who flouts the law and the Constitution? It’s their fault. Everything is their fault because they HAVE the POWER to stop this and they choose not to.

      I read they either filed for bankruptcy or closed and laid off 1,000 employees. Where is the GREEN money? They received some outrageous amount in the exceptionally written Stimulus Bill. These thieves absconded with the cash and closed the company is what I think.

      More cover-ups…the demoRats are getting really good at it…jail time for all of them is coming. To many people watching what they are doing these days ..They may have to revamp that jail in Illinois for the Democrats instead of the guys at Gitmo. About time for Congressional investigation committees to issue something more than a subpoena! Arrest them!

    Born and raised as Catholic, we were dictated by Canon Law and still are, but never demanded the Courts to incorporate it in Constitutional proceedings.

    People were not beheaded for eating meat on Fridays, nor were judges expected to exonerate such murderers.

    It remains today, The Tribunal, whereby cases are heard for infractions while Civil Law takes precedent in all matters as respects American Justice.

    In the Roman Catholic Church, a tribunal usually refers to literally one of three instances of ecclesiastical courts: (1) a diocesan tribunal (2) a provincial tribunal, that is, of more than one diocese and commonly referred to as an appellate court (3) the Sacra Rota Romana, or Sacred Roman Rota, the highest court of appeals.

    You have a choice – abide by Canon Law or get excommunicated and go on your merry way. FREEDOM

      I heard about this on a radio talk show the other day, but I was only half listening, didn’t get details, forgot the dates and everything. But now that you found it, that’s exactly what I heard, so that radio host must have read this same thing.

      I remember the part about them saying they’d shut down the financial district. Well, that will do wonders for Barry’s economy!

      But of course, this coincides with his attempt to make the big bad banks the bugaboo for campaign 2012. Good plan. Make war on the banks and put more people out of business and more workers out of jobs.

      But Barry never did get to complete his planned takeover of all the banks, did he?

      It will be interesting to see how Bloomberg reacts. What I’m thinking (and hoping) is that they’ll give a protest and nobody will come. The Left’s protests, hopefully, will be like their forays into talk radio and cable tv. Nobody watches MSNBC. Nobody watches Al Gore’s station. Nobody listened to Air America. A bust all around.

      The same crap they tried in the 60s, retooled. These guys have never grown up and they live like it’s Groundhog Day. Stuck in the same movie, over and over again.

      If their goal is to get Barry and his regime out of the WH, then maybe it won’t be so bad. But they want “democracy” which in their mind means mob rule so a minority like the Tea Party can’t stand in the way of their planned totalitarian state.

      “Self-exposure to the elements!” Sounds like a plan. I’m all for that. Let them sit in tents in NYC in the bitter cold of winter. Fasting, too. My hard-hearted conservative heart will bleed for them. I’ll feel their self-imposed pain.

      What if they gave a protest and nobody came?

      “After Dohrn’s plea bargain, she and Ayers wasted no time becoming part of the liberal establishment. Ayers enrolled in a graduate program in education at Columbia University and earned his PhD. Dohrn, having graduated from the University of Chicago Law School in 1967, passed the New York bar exam and was hired as a clerk in the New York office of Sidley & Austin​, one of Chicago’s premier law firms (and, interestingly, the firm where Michelle Obama​ subsequently had her first job). Bill and Bernadine may only have a year left before they go to jail for their crimes; a place they should have been in with the rest of their communist/ Marxist pals.

    WASHINGTON — The FBI and Homeland Security have issued a nationwide warning about al-Qaida threats to small airplanes, just days before the anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks.

    There is no specific or credible terrorist threat for the 10-year anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, authorities said. But they have stepped up national security as a precaution.

    Al-Qaida was considering ways to attack airplanes, as recently as earlier this year, according to a five-page law enforcement bulletin issued Friday. The alert, issued ahead of the summer’s last busy travel weekend, said terrorists have considered renting private planes and loading them with explosives.

    “Al-Qaida and its affiliates have maintained an interest in obtaining aviation training, particularly on small aircraft, and in recruiting Western individuals for training in Europe or the United States, although we do not have current, credible information or intelligence of an imminent attack being planned,” according to the bulletin, which The Associated Press obtained. The bulletin also says al-Qaida would like to use sympathetic Westerners to get flight training, then get them to become flight instructors.

    Matthew Chandler, a spokesman for the Department of Homeland Security, described the bulletin as routine. “We shared this information with our partners to highlight the need for continued awareness and vigilance,” he said.

        I agree. We need to wake people up to the facts about what bo an his cousin odinga did in Kenya after odinga lost the election there. Thousands of Christians were killed by odinga’s mulim followers after odinga and bo incited them to riot.

    They‘re among thousands of foreigners caught in a web of suspicion as rebel fighters pursue the remnants of Gadhafi’s forces. Gadhafi hired some foreigners as mercenaries, but many others held ordinary jobs in Libya, and the rebels who ousted the Gadhafi regime from most of Tripoli last month often seem to make little effort to tell them apart.

    “How can we be snipers?” cook Maksim Shadrov asked angrily at a training center for oil workers in Tripoli where he, his wife and 17 other Ukrainians were being held.

    “They are old. She is a woman. We are not snipers,” he said, pointing to some members of his group. Even a rebel commander conceded that he had no evidence to the contrary, but held them nonetheless, despite a diplomat’s efforts to free them.

    In rebel-run Tripoli, people with dark skin — even Libyans — are at risk because Gadhafi is known to have recruited soldiers from sub-Saharan Africa.

    “Every black is a target,” said Tony Biney, the Ghanaian teacher, who stayed home with his wife for two weeks before risking a trip to church

    On the tenth anniversary of the September 11 attacks, a radical Islamic group hopes to “expose the crimes of the American government,” while showcasing its opinion that the U.S. has lost its battle against terrorism.

    The group, Muslims Against Crusades (MAC), plans to purposefully disrupt a commemorative 9/11 ceremony. Participants pledge to make as much noise as possible during a planned moment of silence that will be held outside the U.S. Embassy of London next weekend.

    The group will be joined by another radical enterprise — Sharia 4 America. According to Beliefnet, MAC “…calls the 19 hijackers ‘martyrs.’”

      I hope the crowd at Ground Zero breaks in with the Lord’s Prayer and says the Pledge of Allegiance whether Bloomie agrees or not! No time for a prayer? Since when is a huge, and a really huge MEMORIAL to those that died not have a prayer for the departed and for those that survived? People of New York, they can’t stop a crowd from praying!

      Remember the jerk tried to change 9-11 to a Day of Service? This is his way. Such a solemn tribute, feeding the poor. There is no other name for the donkey, other than A@@. He is such an embarrassment. Tomorrow is atheists day at Ground Zero. Another jerk headed up that service; Bloomberg should be blasted and shunned for how he is handling it. Political correctness run amuk? There is no space for first responders? No prayers. Perhaps another campaign speech by the duck; that will be soothing.
