Shock and Horror in Norway

On Friday, July 22, a suspected terrorist rampage killed 92 people, 97 are wounded, and 5 are still missing in two different terrorist episodes. There is no other name for people who commit such atrocities. They are mass murderers, terrorists, and sick individuals. Unfortunately in Norway, there is no death penalty for such criminals. They can go free in 20 years or less.
The police have arrested one suspect, Anders Behring Breivik,who was quickly labeled as not only a Christian, but as a right-wing extremist. His political views were publicized as being Anti-Marxist and Anti-Islamic. His attorney stated on Sunday that his client wanted to bring about a revolution in Norway. Although Breivik says he worked alone, police are looking for other accomplices.

Like the Unibomber, a 1,500 page manifesto was supposedly posted online before the attack. Police have not confirmed that the 32-year-old Breivik wrote the document being attributed to him under a pseudonym, but his lawyer referred to it and said Breivik had been working on it for years. It is said that in the document he attacked multiculturalism, Muslim immigration and discussed how to acquire explosives.
Like the Oklahoma City bombing, pounds of fertilizer were purchased, and used to blow up a government building that housed the prime minister of Norway and other government officials. An hour and a half later a gunman or two attacked and shot unwitting people who were attending the leftist Labor Party’s youth retreat at a nearby island.
Atlas Shrugs found that Breivik’s Facebook page was altered to state that he was a Christian right after his name was announced to the public. Who would have the authority to make changes to his Facebook if the man was in custody of the police? There are screen shots showing the before and after alterations. She also questioned “Why did a jihad group take credit for the atrocities, and then retract? In photos found online today like the one of Breivik above, the AP states they are digitally altering photos they have. We must wonder and question why.
Facts and information are still sketchy but as details emerge, commenters will keep us updated.

That was fast. Al Qaeda reported to be setting sights on Europe because supposedly it’s too hard to attack here, so there’s an attack today in Oslo.
“A massive bomb shattered Norway’s main government building in Oslo Friday, killing two people police were quoted as saying by local news agency NTB.
There was no claim of responsibility, though NATO member Norway has been the target of threats, if not bombs, before, notably over its involvement in conflicts in Afghanistan and Libya. Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg was safe, NTB said.”

Could he have been a paid mercenary? Yes. Could he have been a Muslim convert? Yes. There will be no truth coming out. And we’re supposed to believe that one guy can shoot 87 individuals, too. It took 30 minutes for SWAT teams to arrive. Since it’s an island, could accomplices have escaped by boat?

There were probably HUNDREDS of Norwegians fitting his description in the area of the bombing. Do Norwegians look alike? Uh, yes. They tend to. Coordinated attacks are THE hallmark of Al Qaeda and jihadists.
I don’t know. Jury’s out on this one.
One thing I do know: We can no longer trust the lamestream media. Nor can we trust that the powers that be will tell the TRUTH to a very scared population in Norway, who all believed that they were exempt because they’re “peaceful” and “neutral”. It was only days ago that Al Qaeda announced that they’re turning their sights on Europe. Was that just coincidence?

They compare it to Oklahoma City on Drudge. Right. Right down to the eyewitness reports of accomplices who got away. A Muslim-looking one, as reported in OK?
If he did hold anti-jihadist views, could he possibly be considered a “freedom fighter” like the Mau Mau in Kenya? Not taking common cause with this criminal, because NOTHING excuses such actions. Just pointing out how the lamestream will PRAISE their favored terrorists whilst piling on any that can be tarred as “Christian” or “conservative” or “right-wing.” There will be NO TRUTH coming out about this guy. Norway’s intelligence service had previously been criticised for its failure to keep track of suspected terror cells and the country was felt to be complacent about the prospect of a terror attack, secret cables from the WikiLeaks files reveal.
A memo written in 2009, describes the country’s security service as “in over its head” and adds “it simply cannot keep up.” Separate cables state that the country felt “immune” from terrorism and that groups such as Al Qaeda were “not a direct threat”. One memo describes how US authorities had to “press” their Norwegian counterparts to take terrorism seriously and says there was a feeling “that terrorism happens elsewhere, not in peaceful Norway.”
Talking about an attempt by the Police Security Service (PST) to track one particular suspected Al Qaeda terror cell, a cable written by the US Ambassador to Norway, Barry White, describes investigators as “committed, competent and co-operative, generally”. But he goes on to describe how they refused the help of the UK authorities to put surveillance on a potential suspect and adds: “Not only will they not put their own resources on him…but they also just turned down the visiting UK intel service’s offer of two twelve-person surveillance teams.”
A second memo, written in 2007, is titled “Pakistani Norwegians ripe for radicalisation?” It warns of the potential of Pakistani-Norwegian youths being radicalised and describes Norway as a “country that continues to feel immune from terrorism.

Sounds like a motive to dissemble. Drudge links to some website that has to be translated, but it locks my browser and appears to be tabloid stuff. They show the purported gunman (who the police DON’T confirm as the guy named or the guy in the picture–yet) in Nazi-like costume. The pics look photoshopped. If Lulzsec can hack News Corp, Sony, and others and if Wikileaks can hack NATO and the Pentagon (didn’t they?), then who can believe ANYTHING that’s reported to have been posted on the Web by this so-called perp? His Facebook page CHANGED after he’s named? That tabloidy site alleges he posted a “manifesto” somewhere before the attack.
While anything’s possible, it’s AS LIKELY and AS POSSIBLE that nothing is as it seems and it’s all Kabuki theater. Obama coming out so fast talking about how all countries have to be on guard for “this type” of terrorism sets off my radar. How about you? If the arrested suspect was obviously Muslim, Barry would be mum.
I simply don’t believe any of this at this point, except that the horror took place.

Anders Behring Breivik (32) Prior to the attacks, published a long manifesto and a video on the Internet, where he describes the attacks he was about to perform. The video and document “Marxist Hunter” It is about more than twelve minutes long video, which Behring Brevik compare “themselves” with Knights, and encourage a year-long war against Marxism and Islamism.….In the document, which is over 1500 pages the author elaborates on events throughout history and will repeatedly return to the Knights Templar, or Knights Templar as they say in English. Today, the Knights Templar, an order within the Masonic movement, which also Anders Behring Breivik was a member of. He will now be excluded from the Masonic Order.
He has also published a manuscript of 1,500 pages which he explains very extreme political views. In addition, he describes in detail how an attack is to be carried out. Everything from the use of the car bomb of the type of equipment to be used in an attack. The document is signed with a pseudonym as the most likely Behring Anders Breivik.

Excuse me for thinking this, but doesn’t tarring this guy as “anti-Marxist” and “anti-Islamic” just set up a perfect meme for the 2012 election? In 2008, the meme was that if you disagreed with Barry, you were a racist bigot. If you said he was Muslim, which he was and may still be, you were racist AND an Islamophobe and a religious bigot.
Now they KNOW that candidates in 2012 are going to bring up the FACT that Barry has long been Marxist and that the fundamental transformation he wants and is trying to institute in America is MARXIST.
Therefore, how convenient is it if they can tie being anti-Marxist to this horrible terrorist attack?! Just like how they TRIED to tie the Tea Party to racism.

This is way too suspicious. Who was the other gunman and why did it take SWAT 90 minutes to arrive on the scene? How did they catch THIS perp? How did he get onto the island? Why didn’t he leave? Excuse me for being paranoid, but I trust nothing anymore. Especially anything coming out of leftist lamestream media outlets.

In the immediate wake of the bombing and mass shooting in Norway that left at least 92 people dead Friday, Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg declared that it was too early to say whether terrorism was involved.
Some interpreted the statement to mean it was unclear whether Muslim extremists were behind the attack.
Right-wing websites quickly pointed the finger at “jihadis,” and Pamela Geller, publisher of the website Atlas Shrugs and executive director of Stop Islamization of America, wrote on her site: “You can ignore jihad, but you cannot avoid the consequences of ignoring jihad.”
Counter-terrorism experts soon weighed in, implicating Al Qaeda.
Then Anders Behring Breivik, described by police as a “right-wing Christian fundamentalist,” was arrested in connection with the attacks.
Within the Muslim community, there was a sigh of relief that it wasn’t someone connected with their religion, but also a sting at being initially scapegoated — not unlike what occurred immediately after the Oklahoma City bombing by right-wing American extremists in 1995.

Well, if we take a page from the leftist drivel that gets printed in this country, excusing all manner of criminals (like Billy Ayers and Bernardine), then we might blame Muslims for driving him to it. A terror group, Ansar al-Jihad al-Alami, or the Helpers of the Global Jihad, issued a statement claiming responsibility for the attack, according to Will McCants, a terrorism analyst at C.N.A., a research institute that studies terrorism. The message said the attack was a response to Norwegian forces’ presence in Afghanistan and to unspecified insults to the Prophet Muhammad. “We have warned since the Stockholm raid of more operations,” the group said, according to Mr. McCants’ translation, apparently referring to a bombing in Sweden in December 2010. “What you see is only the beginning, and there is more to come.”
Norway is a member of the NATO alliance and has a small fighting contingent in Afghanistan. It was one of several countries named by Ayman al-Zawahri, the leader of Al Qaeda, as potential targets for attack. In 2006, Norwegian newspapers reprinted Danish cartoons that angered Muslims by lampooning Muhammad.

The Times added that Norwegian television reports indicated that Ansar al-Jihad al-Alami had denied involvement in the attacks.[2]
Someone identifying as Abu Sulayman al-Nasir who had posted the first claim of responsibility later made a further statement to Shmukh retracting it, stating that the attacker “must surely be known to all.”[1]

What a conundrum! We’re left to choose between versions of “the truth”. Who’s telling truth? Bilderbergers or Jihadists? This is what it’s come to.
As with OK City, there IS indeed a report of another gunman, someone small, DARK, and not wearing a police uniform.
Why, btw, does every news story mention the guy’s blonde hair and blue-eyes? Are these journalists RACISTS or something?
So apparently there’s NO security on the ferries and NONE at the youth camp? There’s still no PROOF that the suspect wrote that manifesto and most of these postings they say he made on Twitter and Facebook are VERY recent. This is all very lutefisky.
Some reports say he was in an (wait for it …) anti-tax, anti-immigration, small-government party. Sound familiar?
BUT others say the party he was once in is the second largest in Norway, mainstream, AND is (was?) running in the lead in polls for this next election.
Now the NY Times story Bridgette linked says the “liberal government” was the gunman’s target. Or was it? What will happen now?
People will likely turn against the minority party, so as not to appear, even in their own minds, as being hateful or anti-immigrant or siding with terrorists. Guess what? The LIBS win again! Fishy to me. I’m sorry.
If this liberal government is in charge, and since it was reported to be lax on Islamic terrorism, since this attack happened, then what to do? It surely would take a huge conspiracy to pin it on a Norwegian, but what about that dark-haired guy who got away? Who was he?
Think about the political fallout for the libs, losing in polls already, for a successful Al Qaeda attack to happen on this scale.
What sounds more likely to be true? Think about this. This NY Times story must have, at one point, contained the paragraph Bridgette posted. Go to the link now. IT’S NO LONGER THERE.
The authors say the story was changed, but not to remove that paragraph about that group taking credit. The story now talks about the Muslim group, but says they’re not sure it really exists. BUT they don’t say anything about them taking credit. Here’s how it reads now:
“Initial reports focused on the possibility of Islamic militants, in particular Ansar al-Jihad al-Alami, or Helpers of the Global Jihad, cited by some analysts as claiming responsibility for the attacks. American officials said the group was previously unknown and might not even exist.”
Here’s their correction, sans any mention of removing the part about Jihadis taking credit:
“Correction: July 22, 2011 An earlier version of this article erroneously stated that Utoya is about 25 miles northwest of Oslo. In fact, it is 19 miles from central Oslo.” NOTICE: No mention of the removal of the part about that group taking credit or the rationale for the attack. WHY? WTF? Are they THAT worried about losing Europe to conservatives because of the Islamification of Europe? What a blow to the Soros NWO if conservatives win in Norway.
Remember, too, Pam Geller’s story about how his Facebook page was changed AFTER the attack, after his arrest, to say he’s a Christian. I was NEVER one to easily believe in these conspiracy theories but this is starting to defy logic and common sense. Is their version of how this played out believable?

Is there much time in there for this same perp to go from Oslo to the island, do the shootings as methodically as they say, and then wait 90 minutes for cops to arrest him? Keep in mind that he had to drive from Oslo to the ferry landing (a circuitous route) and then take a ferry to the island. The ferryman was reported to have questioned him about his story and taking guns to the island. He claimed he wanted to check security there, on account of the bombing in Oslo.
Where’d he get the car? What route did he take? I heard a report that said he “drove” to the island. How does one DRIVE to an island?
The link above quotes this from another story:

THAT PARAGRAPH IS GONE FROM THE STORY, WITH NO EXPLANATION. The link remains, the story is changed to scrub what this man wrote about Al Qaeda and to insert this:
“The most tempting and immediate conclusion was that it would be a jihadist group, as the style of the Oslo attack bore strong similarities to other earlier attacks in Europe and elsewhere. But Norwegian police said that the individual believed responsible for the shooting in Utøya, a 32-year-old Norwegian man, was also spotted in Olso before the bombing there.”
NO update notification, except there’s a tab for “article history” that says only that the story was changed. No explanation for why or what was changed.
There is nothing in the Google cache, so they must have requested that the older version be removed. WHY? So, another rewriting of history AFTER THE FACT by the Ministry of Truth?
IF these people were real journalists, then they’d transparently “correct” their stories or just leave them alone.
WHY and under WHOSE ORDERS have these initial reports been changed?
Did this group take credit? IF not, then where did the quote from their explanation come from?
IF they took credit and they didn’t do the attack, then why not just leave TRUTH BE TRUTH? Report that what they said appears to be a sham, not true, because they found a domestic perp!
This is what makes people suspicious. WHY would they scrub these jihadists taking credit? It happened. Why change history? For political correctness? I’m sure glad you were able to analyze and dissect it some more..after reading multiple news reports, I couldn’t make heads or tails of their information. But they sure were quick to jump on this one guy. Yet they didn’t say they captured him at the scene. More peculiar is where they found him, and if he has been set up as a fall guy..but he admits doing this horrible deed. That paragraph was scrubbed, too. btw, looked it up. The DRIVING distance between Oslo and that island (to the ferry) is about 36 minutes. It’s about 22 miles from Oslo, but I’d think you need to take into account the traffic that’s typical in a large city and the condition of the rural roads that he might have had to traverse, plus the speed limit. Rush hour might have been right around that time, depending upon work schedules in Norway. Factory workers here get off work about 3:30 p.m. Oslo is a big city. After a terror attack, I’d think traffic would be even slower. That timeline story says they ordered the city center to be evacuated.
Did he perhaps fly there? Or take a boat? It will be interesting to see how they explain all this. How did he get the fertilizer bombs there? Did he have a van, car, or truck? Do they have surveillance cameras in Oslo like they do in the UK? Forgive me, too, but I have to ask this: If there really were only one guy and he was slow and methodical and there were over 100 kids and adults on that island, did he NEVER have his back to anyone who might have been hiding in trees or behind rocks and who might have organized a posse? That timeline story says there were over 700 people on that island at some AUF (?) event. May be a mistake but the figure is mentioned twice in the same story, and attributed to one reporter at least, who presumably was covering the political event.

The authors say the story was changed, but not to remove that paragraph about that group taking credit. The story now talks about the Muslim group, but says they’re not sure it really exists. BUT they don’t say anything about them taking credit. Here’s how it reads now:

Male, born 1979. THAT appears to be the link for the correct “proff” listing for his firm. It appears that he first registered in 2009 and did a change of address in April 2011. Now, I’m not an expert but it almost appears to me as if someone went in and changed the “firm information” that describes the type of business but didn’t go all the way back into the other pages to change it there. It appears that originally, this was a real estate connected company, which makes sense because it’s said he studied marketing AND that the address is in the middle of the city. Note, also, how the email address changes. In the ones that state his business is real estate, the address is andersbehring@ hotmail (split that on purpose). A MAN. How do they know it’s a man? It’s a commenter on anonymous online BLOG forums! You know what else? If you go to those forums, one James Von Brunn is in Cebu, Philippines, and another is in Oslo, Norway. My guess is the world may contain MANY men named James Von Brunn, especially in Norway, and besides, they have NO PROOF whatsoever that the handle this anonymous person uses is his real name. The Free Republic James Von Brunn is also in Norway.
Is there any proof that the Holocaust suspect was EVER in Cebu or Oslo? If they’re going to BELIEVE that his name is James W. Von Brunn, then they must also logically believe WHERE he says he is located. If he made up his location, why wouldn’t he also make up the name?”

Why are they posting all these photoshopped images? Why are they removing the background? What was in the background TO remove? Is it only cover for the fact that the entire thing is photoshopped, because they know how people are becoming expert at spotting photoshopped images?

OSLO, Norway (AP) — The man blamed for attacks on Norway’s government headquarters and a youth retreat that left at least 92 dead said he was motivated by a desire to bring about a revolution in Norwegian society, his lawyer said Sunday. A manifesto that he is believed to have written ranted against Muslim immigration to Europe and vowed revenge on “indigenous Europeans” who he accused of betraying their heritage.
Although the lawyer for the 32-year-old Norwegian suspect, Anders Behring Breivik, said his client acted alone, police conducted raids on a garage and sheds in an industrial neighborhood of eastern Oslo, said police officer Kjell Bjerklund.
Survivors of the mass shooting on Utoya island that killed at least 85 young people reported seeing two assailants, and police have said they were looking into those accounts and had not ruled out a second suspect. Another seven people were killed in Friday’s bombing in an Oslo government building.

A history of political “photoshopping”, most of it done by (other) tyrants.
I quickly skimmed his “manifesto” and the thing seems to start out logical and sensible. Not violent and then at the end has the bomb making stuff, etc. At the very end are all those photoshopped pics PLUS what looks to me like a wedding photo of him, a bride, somebody’s mother. They say he lives with his mom. That Metapedia page says he’s “pro-homosexual” so reading between the lines (and looking at him) I thought maybe . . .

While we’re talking about Free Republic, they have a post that alleges that Breivik just copied verbatim parts of the Unabomber’s treatise, some of which came from Al Gore. See comment 19. The truth in that instance was scrubbed, too–that the Unabomber devoured Gore’s book, underlining key parts, and had it in his shack. So the beat goes on.

Apparently they say Pam Geller is mentioned in his manifesto, too, which makes it that much more suspicious. Pam is not amused and as usual, lays them out:

This whole exercise is ridiculous. Anders Behring Breivik is responsible for his actions. If anyone incited him to violence, it was Islamic supremacists. If anything incited him to violence, it was the Euro-Med policy.”

Interesting that someone at Free took the time to translate the manifesto (was it written in English?) and was able to find so many duplicate, plagiarized pages from the Unibomber’s.

He was brought to court but the public AND the media were banned. He’s going into 8 weeks of confinement, the first 4 solitary with no outside contact. That link continues the timeline for the case and also says that they were mistaken on the number killed and will be changing the number downward later today. Is this in response to the logical question about how a LONE gunman can kill so many when the island reportedly had 700 people on it?
btw, predictably, the lamestream is using this to tout gun control, when logically, it’s a HUGE ARGUMENT IN FAVOR OF GUN RIGHTS AND CONCEALED CARRY.
When you have an unarmed populace, what do you have? 700 sitting ducks, waiting to be picked off. HAD anyone there, including the lone security guard, been ARMED, then the death toll would be much, much lower. That is beyond doubt.
This is what the progressives want–a populace completely at the mercy of whomever carries the guns. In their ideal world, those would be ONLY the “authorities” that the elites control.

He sure does sound like a fictional person. We don’t even know what kind of company he ran. They say it was a melon farm but it was in the middle of the city AND the sites in the Wayback Machine say it was a real estate company, which fits better with his degree in MARKETING. There’s so much disinformation going on. What kind of lawyer says the type of stuff his lawyer says to the media? What kind of defense is he going to get?

The story just morphs as people point out the discrepancies. Now they say that there was a security guard at the camp, but he was the first killed. They say the perp used “marketing” to sell his manifesto. They say he set up FAKE companies. They say he RENTED a farm to use as cover for the purchase of the fertilizer. Now they say the authorities won’t say whether or not he was on their radar before the event. This is all CYA at this point. I heard that he was supposedly baptized Lutheran, but didn’t practice the faith. A Darwinian would be an atheist, basically. Sounds like a typical northern European, imho. I have friends from there and they’re actually EMBARRASSED to give any hint to anyone that they even might believe in a Higher Power. Common wisdom over there is the typical progressive bull–that it’s just superstitious mumbo-jumbo that intelligent people disavow. And they do so love to think they’re more intelligent than we rubes who cling to guns and religion.
It’s been reported that more than one person said there was another gunman–a guy with dark hair and not wearing any semblance of a uniform. I have my doubts about whether that “manifesto” has any connection to this event. Things are really getting crazy. Now people are blaming Mossad because people at that camp, the day before, were calling for the UN to recognize Palestine as an independent state. I trust none of this stuff. We will probably never learn the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

Do you notice that what he wrote against is “cultural COMMUNISM” not “cultural Marxism”? At least in that article.
Doesn’t all of that sound REASONABLE? I see nothing in there that predicts violence or any reason why this man should have been under surveillance as a potential domestic terrorist. I do notice that the source is anonymous. A person who claimed to have corresponded with Breivik in 2009, via Facebook. BUT his Facebook page is recent, with no friends. Where did the other page go, so that people can see the history?
His manifesto is mentioned in the correspondence to the anonymous source. What we don’t know, however, is whether or not the manifesto he wrote is what we now see on the Web. This guy writes like a person who doesn’t need to plagiarize from a US terrorist. However, the manifesto contains copied paragraphs from Kaczynski’s screed, COMPLETE WITH TYPOS AND GRAMMATICAL ERRORS. But in the correspondence, Breivik wrote very well and surely, while he modified the plagiarized parts, he would have corrected the errors, don’t you think? But a progressive hacker/partisan might not do so, if he was modifying Breivik’s manifesto to fit the meme that Breivik was a domestic terrorist in the making.

King Harald V could hardly do better, in the current situation, than pointing out that he is “the king of Norwegian Muslims, Sikhs, Jews and Hindus, too”. Perhaps it goes without saying, yet a statement of this kind would cleanse the air in a situation where extreme xenophobia and religious prejudice have been the source of inspiration for unspeakably atrocious acts.”
Unspeakably atrocious acts like hanging an 8-year old boy, incinerating 3000 innocent workers in the World Trade Center, blowing up airplanes, hotels, and buildings across the globe? Can you imagine any lamestream media “journalist” writing this: Extreme ISLAMIC “xenophobia and religious prejudice have been the source of inspiration for unspeakably atrocious acts?” They would never dare.

This is the source of the information that he had 790 employees. However, if you click the link from that page that reads, “kunngjoringer”, it goes to another page. There you can click other links that say it’s a REAL ESTATE company. For example, the last link, that contains the word “kunngjoringene”, says “Purchase, sale and management of shares, project development, including acquisition and development of real estate, and participation in other companies and businesses, as well as what may be associated.”
The very first link on that page says nothing about the type of company. The second link contains the same paragraph as above, about real estate.
I pointed out yesterday how the page that says it’s a “melon farm” also contains an email address that’s subtley different from other company/people searches: Containing a period between the name Anders and Behring (his mother’s maiden name, btw). So that front page appears to have been modified. There’s nothing for that page in the WayBack Machine OR in Google cache, except what appears today.
Somewhere in that story about his father, they report that Anders felt that his mother’s feminism caused he, himself, to become “feminised.” Again, interesting.
What a crock from word one.

They’re talking in Norway about Breivik being declared insane, never to stand trial, to be locke up. From where the people will never hear him speak in his own voice about his supposed “crusade.” Is he a real person? Or a willing dupe? This is so like with Loughner. Have we yet heard him speak? Nope, locked up, incommunicado, and they fight giving him the drugs to help him become sane enough to stand trial. Convenient.
From above article: Let’s take a look at the timeline of Norway’s twin attacks, prepared by Associated Press, according to police and eyewitnesses:
—3:26 p.m.: A car bomb explodes outside the prime minister’s office in central Oslo.
—Around 4:50 p.m.: Vacationers at a campground begin to hear shooting across the lake on Utoya, an island where the youth wing of the Labor Party is being held.
—5:38 p.m.: SWAT team is dispatched from Oslo. It drives, deciding that starting a police helicopter would take longer.
—By 6 p.m.: The team arrives at the lake, but it struggles to find a boat to cross over.
—6:20 p.m.: The SWAT team arrives on the island.
So, basically it took 3 long hours for the Norwegian SWAT team to take control of the situation, after over 90 dead…?
She suggests that this was really a Muslim inspired attack made to “look like” and have it blamed on right wing or Christian terrorists. Still no one has said why Muslim terrorists originally took responsibility for these tragedies and now aren’t mentioned. The attacks have all the fingerprints of Islamic terrorists.
Thanks for that, Bridgette. I was looking for that article and lost it. Isn’t it suspicious that somehow he got out of the downtown (being evacuated) in late afternoon, somehow drove all the way on rural roads to that ferry landing, persuaded the ferryman to take him across, and starting shooting within less than an 84 minutes? It took SWAT 22 minutes to arrive at the ferry, but we must assume they had lights and sirens going, so probably drove a LOT faster than the perp. Then it took them 20 more minutes to get to the island. What took them 48 minutes to simply decide to deploy? If people hadn’t claimed that they saw him downtown, then they could surmise that he had timers on the bombs and that’s how he could be at the island. But one story I read today says that he left the downtown before the blasts, and that the blasts were meant to tie everybody up so he could achieve his main goal at the island. Some stories say that the prime minister was his target, but he wasn’t even there. Others say it was some female politician, whose name I don’t recall.
That must be the story I read yesterday that suggested it was Islamic terror all along. And no doubt the leftist government, falling down on the job, would prefer to go along with the ploy of blaming it on a home-grown Christian terrorist. And now we won’t be hearing from Breivik himself.
More discrepancies coming out about this attack. NOW they report that the police arrived on the island by boat! Not helicopter. One report says that the helicopter was unavailable because someone was on vacation; another said they just decided it would be quicker to drive than to start up the helicopter (but news helicopters got there pronto).
It’s still unclear whether they drove to the ferry and then took boats, or what. They commandeered civilian boats, one of which broke down on the way to the island. The first reports were that people called to report gunshots a little after 5. Now the cops are saying it was almost 5:30.
News reports continue to refer to him as a self-described Christian, but this is based upon a Facebook page that was changed AFTER he was arrested and a manifesto that nobody knows whether or not it was modified to suit that meme, too.
Supposedly, the police arrested one of the hackers in the Lulzsec/Anonymous/Wikileaks orbit. A 17-year-old kid in the UK. My guess is these guys would be capable of modifying the Facebook page, the manifesto, and the business directory websites. Some suggest that Breivik is a taqiyya plant, a Muslim convert, radicalized to jihad, in order to stage a “Christian” attack to turn the focus onto “domestic terrorism” and away from Islamic terrorism. They cite the victims as proof, saying that if Breivik truly hated Muslims, then why attack white kids instead of Muslims?
That makes sense. Think about it: If he really wanted to stop the left from sympathizing with Muslims in a misguided attempt to be multicultural, then wouldn’t he more likely stage a bogus Al Qaeda attack and set it up to blame Islamic radicals? How does doing what he did accomplish his so-called goals? It doesn’t. All it’s done is gin up sympathy for Muslims and make the Norwegians more sensitive and “multicultural.” It doesn’t make sense.

An amazing expose of just how far left that “summer camp” was. They had faux training exercises imitating the break-the-Gaza-blockade flotilla. This in NO WAY justifies Breivik’s actions (if indeed he did this) but it’s important to know all the players in this tragedy. I can’t imagine any progressive, no matter how corrupt, planning such an attack as a false flag operation; but Islamic jihadists have no such qualms about wasting the lives of infidels. It would be quite a taqiyya coup for them. Harden the foolish progressives against those who rightly, sanely, and logically question the wisdom of absorbing into their population a huge population of non-Norwegians who have NO INTEREST in assimilating, while at the same time, attacking infidels.

Glenn Beck apparently compared these summer camps to “red diaper baby” summer camps and “youth for Hitler” camps, on account of the obvious anti-Semitism of Norwegians. Long-standing, I might add. Anti-Semitism was and still is rife in Europe, as our brave greatest generation learned over 60 years ago and as we continue to see today. One wonders if the Europeans would have cared if Hitler had NOT tried to subjugate them, too? Lawyer: Norwegian attacker makes demands

OSLO, Norway (AP) — The confessed killer in Norway’s twin terror attacks that claimed 77 lives has presented a long list of “unrealistic” demands, including the resignation of the government and that his mental condition be investigated by Japanese specialists, his defense lawyer said Tuesday.
Geir Lippestad told the Associated Press his client has two lists of demands. One consists of requests common among inmates such as for cigarettes and civilian clothing. The other is “unrealistic, far, far from the real world and shows he doesn’t know how society works,” Lippestad said by telephone.
Lippestad said 32-year-old Anders Behring Breivik links this second list to his willingness to share information about two other alleged terrorist cells that Breivik has mentioned during questioning.
“They are completely impossible to fulfill,” Lippestad said, adding that although Breivik has agreed to be examined by local psychiatrists, he also wants to be investigated by Japanese specialists. He claims the Japanese understand the idea and values of honor and that a Japanese (specialist) would understand him a lot better than any European would.”
Lippestad said his client has also demanded complete political reform, in which he wants to be assigned a key role.
“His demands here includes the complete overthrowing of both the Norwegian and European societies,” he said, noting it includes the resignation of the Norwegian government but declined to give further details. “But it shows that he doesn’t understand the situation he’s in.” Breivik claims he carried out the attacks as part of a network of modern-day crusaders — the Knights Templar — to launch a revolution against a Europe spoiled by Muslim immigration, and that there are other cells ready to strike.

Did Nowegian Mass Murderer Anders Breivik Undergo Military Training in Belarus [Russia]?

Every major news story coming out of the countries of the former Soviet Union should be viewed as possible deliberately crafted disinformation. This highly inflammatory story should be treated with the utmost caution. If it is true, or even partially true, it places a whole new significance on the Norwegian Massacre story.

This spring, as part of his preparations for his twin attacks, he visited Minsk, where he underwent training at a secret paramilitary field camp,” Mikhail Reshetnikov, the head of the opposition Belarusian Party of Patriots, told the Gazeta.ru online newspaper.
He cited sources within Belarus’s “security organs.”

Norway attacker back on island for reconstruction

OSLO, Norway (AP) — Restrained by a police harness, the Norwegian man who confessed to killing 69 people at an island youth camp reconstructed his actions for police in a secret daylong trip back to the crime scene.
Police said Sunday they took Anders Behring Breivik back to the island of Utoya for a Saturday hearing about the July 22 terror attacks, when Breivik shot the victims dead on the lake island near Oslo after killing another eight people in the capital with a bomb.
The 32-year-old described the killings in close detail during an eight-hour tour on the island with up to a dozen police, prosecutor Paal-Fredrik Hjort Kraby told a press conference in Oslo.
The prosecutor also confirmed Norwegian media reports that police received several phone calls during the terror attack that were probably from Breivik himself, but wouldn’t say how police had reacted to the calls. According to Norwegian daily Aftenposten, Breivik offered to surrender several times and asked police to call him back, but they didn’t.

A new examination says that Breivik is not insane. “The conclusions of the second psychiatric evaluation, which was ordered by an Oslo court amid an outcry over the initial exam findings, were published just six days before the Breivik’s trial is set to start.
In the end however, it will be up to the Oslo court judges to determine his mental state when they publish their verdict around mid-July, thus deciding whether he will be locked up in a closed psychiatric ward or sent to prison.”

OSLO (Reuters) – Norwegian mass killer Anders Behring Breivik was jailed for a maximum term on Friday when judges declared him sane enough to answer for the murder of 77 people last year, drawing a smirk of triumph from the self-styled warrior against Islam.
An unrepentant Breivik, 33, gave the Oslo court a stiff-armed, clench-fisted salute before being handed the steepest possible penalty, 21 years. His release, however, can be put off indefinitely should he still pose a threat to a liberal society left traumatized by his bomb and shooting rampage last July.
Breivik, who had surrendered to police on the island without a fight, admitted blowing up the Oslo government headquarters with a fertilizer bomb, killing eight, on Friday, July 22, 2011, then shooting 69 at the ruling party’s summer youth camp. [Isn’t this so similar to the Colorado shooting – the guy giving up without a fight?]
Breivik will now be kept in isolation inside Ila Prison on the outskirts of Oslo inside relatively spacious quarters that include a separate exercise room, a computer and a television.
He had described an insane verdict as “a fate worse than death”. Were he to have been found insane and decided to appeal, the entire trial would have had to be repeated.
Breivik justified his killing spree arguing that the centre-left Labour party is deliberately destroying the nation by encouraging Muslim immigration.
Although his victims were mostly teenagers, with some as young as 14, he rejected being called a child murderer, arguing that his victims were brainwashed “cultural Marxists” whose political activism would adulterate pure Norwegian blood.
