  1. Obama tells the Iowans today…

Fondly recalling his win here in 2008, Obama said to Iowa: “We’ve got some history together. And together we’re going to make some more history for years to come.”

“You had to up your game,” Obama said to the workers. “And that’s what we’ve got to do as a country as a whole. I want the cars and planes and wind turbines of the future to bear the proud stamp that says ‘Made in America.'”

Hopefully, Iowa will tell Obama… up yours!

Obama said,”How many shoes do you wear on your feets?”

Now that is a open mouth insert shoe statement! ROFL

  4. Is Obama Making His Next Career Move?
    June 29, 2011 Snips

Obama always seems to crave more ego gratification. There is no limit to his thirst for personal power and glory. The slogan “The Audacity of Hope” is taken straight from Napoleon’s creed, “L’audace,
l’audace, toujours l’audace!” Always act audaciously on the battlefield, because your opponents will never predict your dangerous moves. Your enemies will be shocked and overwhelmed by the risks you take.

Why is Obama always bullying Americans whose support he needs for reelection? Why did he come out for the maximum anti-Israel position? Isn’t that self-destructive, if he wants to be reelected in 2012?

A reasonable guess is that Obama wants to be UN Secretary General. To do that he needs two things: Radical Muslim support, and the international left, especially European socialists.

Targeting Israel and American capitalism is the way to their hearts.

Sentiment Among Congressional and Judicial Leadership Insults Black Americans While They Ignore a Greater “Silent” Threat From Vintage American Wrath

First of all, all of you black Americans should feel insulted by Obama and this Congress. They consider you no more than rabid, angry animals unable to control yourselves. Essentially, in refusing to investigate Obama’s ineligibility as President, Congress is saying to your face that they are more afraid to uphold what is morally right and Constitutionally lawful within the very nation you helped build with your blood, sweat and tears, because they think you are too animalistic to control your behavior in the face of the truth that America’s first bi-racial president isn’t actually the president at all, and, moreover, he isn’t even an American citizen.

  8. VA Cemetery to Veterans: The Word “God,” “Jesus” are Offensive, no Longer Allowed
    Wednesday, June 29, 2011 Snips

The Houston National Cemetery has told veterans and volunteers alike that they can no longer use the word “God,””God bless,” or “Jesus” at any and all funerals or condolence cards. The word has been deemed ‘offensive.’

That is according to local volunteer and veterans groups that work at the cemetery. They are now suing the Cemetery in federal court so that they can use the word God. To cite one specific example given in the suit, the director of the cemetery, Arleen Ocasio commanded volunteers never to use “God bless you” and “God bless” ever again at the cemetery.

Specifically, the suit brought against the cemetery and the Department of Veterans Affairs states that there has been “a widespread and consistent practice of discriminating against private religious speech.”

I don’t comment here very often, but I read your blog a lot. I am posting this here because you guys are the best researchers, so you could find out if this is true. It is an article about the flooding in the midwest, and how the government is offering to buy the farmland, and then sell it to Soros. If true, this is scary. You have to scroll down past the picture. If it is true, we have to get the word out.
    Thank You

    • Exxon Pipeline Leaks Crude Into Yellowstone River
By Ben Lefebvre and Angel Gonzalez
Published July 02, 2011 | Dow Jones Newswires

–Crude pipeline serves refineries in Laurel and Billings, Mont.
Exxon still investigating causes of the incident
Local official says leak began late Friday, has traveled 80 miles down the Yellowstone River

(Updates with additional background and comments from local and federal officials on paragraphs 4, 5, 6 and information about refineries on paragraphs 7 and 8).

HOUSTON -(Dow Jones)- Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) said Saturday that a company-owned pipeline leaked an undetermined amount of crude oil into the Yellowstone River.

The Texas-based oil giant said it discovered the leak early Saturday morning. Exxon said it “deeply regrets this release” and that it is working with local authorities to mitigate the impact. The leak took place in a 12-inch crude pipeline that runs from Silver Tip, Mont., to Billings. The pipeline has been shut down.

The incident comes amid heightened concerns about pipeline safety stemming from natural gas pipeline explosions across the U.S., and from a major spill in July 2010, in which 20,000 barrels of oil escaped from an Enbridge Energy Partners LP (EEP) pipeline in Michigan.

The Exxon leak started sometime late Friday, with crude oil having traveled 80 miles downstream by 1 p.m. local time and in some places settling on the shore line, said Custer County Disaster and Emergency Services Coordinator James Zabrocki. “I’m sure the bulk of the oil is going to go to the Missouri River,” Zabrocki said.

The U.S. Pipeline and Hazardous Material Safety Administration said it would have no information available until an agency investigator reached the spill site.

The Silvertip crude pipeline originates in the Wyoming-Montana border and delivers oil to Exxon’s 60,000 barrel-a-day Billings refinery, which sits adjacent to the Yellowstone River. The facility processes crude oil from Wyoming and Alberta, Canada, into gasoline and ultra low sulfur diesel, according to the Exxon’s Web site.

The pipeline also serves a 55,000 barrel-a-day refinery in Laurel, Mont., owned and operated by CHS Inc. (CHSP).

        • Big money moves into the Midwest grain trade
          06/11/2011

For rural farm co-ops, it’s definitely a new era when East Coast hedge funds, Asian corporations and investors for billionaire George Soros come a-courting.

Across the Midwest, well-heeled outside investors are on the prowl to acquire the hard assets of U.S. agribusiness. They’re motivated by a sense that the sun is rising on a sector that’s historically been pretty sleepy but is being awakened by soaring grain prices and the world’s growing appetite for food.

“There’s a lot of new entrants that are very well capitalized,” said Lynden Johnson of CHS Inc., the nation’s largest farm cooperative, based in Inver Grove Heights. “If they want to invade a market and make a dent, they have the wherewithal to do it.

“There’s always been competition,” added Johnson, CHS’ senior vice president of business solutions. “But it’s escalated in the last 12 months, far beyond anything I’ve seen in the last 30 years.”

          Snip ~

In the tiny Montana town of Chester, population 871, two different giants are scrambling to build separate large-scale loading facilities. Each will be capable of rapidly loading 110 railcars with grain en route to ports in the Pacific Northwest, and then to Asia.

“They’ve both broken ground, and work is in progress,” said Lola Raska, executive vice president of the Montana Grain Growers Association. “From the growers’ perspective, competition is a good thing. There’s been a lot of consolidation in agriculture, as in all industries, so to see some expansion is good for producers.”

One of those shuttle-loading facilities is being built by EGT Development. It’s a joint venture between U.S. grain giant Bunge, Japanese food importer Itochu and Korean shipper STX Pan Ocean. Together, those partners also are building a massive grain-export facility in Longview, Wash., creating a new gateway between the Northern Plains grain belt and the booming economies of Asia.

The other is being built by a new entity, Gavilon Grain. Gavilon was formed in 2008 and is privately held, mostly by three hedge funds: Ospraie Special Opportunities Fund, General Atlantic and Soros Fund Management, the latter affiliated with billionaire investor and chairman George Soros.

      • Accident or sabotage or terrorism? Will they tell us?

This story blames the high water in the Yellowstone River, which flows into the Missouri, which is artificially high on account of Corpse of Engineers bad planning. http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-oil-spill-yellowstone-20110704,0,1377467.story

Leza, I can’t help but think this is all connected with the Midwest/Asian/Soros grain gambit. Not only do these states fight over the issue of water levels on account of environmental issues (sand plovers and sturgeon), recreation (keep reservoir levels high), flood control, and water usage, they also fight over whether or not the Missouri should remain open for grain barges, which, btw, save tons of fuel and carbon pollution, compared to rail or truck.
